These were the results from the games played yesterday:

France 1-1 Poland
Netherlands 2-3 Austria
Denmark 0-0 Serbia
England 0-0 Slovenia

There were four games played yesterday, they played two at a time therefore I was changing the channel between the games to see how they were playing out. Poland were very close to winning that game even though balance shifted between them. The penalty re-take was probably necessary because the rule is the goalkeeper has to keep at least one foot on the line but credit to Lewandowski for kicking the ball in the same corner but with more accuracy to score. Poland are now out of the tournament as they finished bottom of the group whereas France finished second.

The game of the day had to be Netherlands vs Austria. I could not believe the way the Austrians were playing, it was as though they were full of confidence wanting to win the group (which they did). The Netherlands finished 3rd in the group but are the strongest team at the moment in the group table of 3rd placed teams therefore will qualify for the next stage and possibly face England in the knockout stage.

About England, what a boring display they put on. They finished top of the group with one win and two draws but is was dismal from the in their three games.

These are the final group games of the tournament taking place today Wednesday 26th June:

Slovakia vs Romania
Ukraine vs Belgium
Czech Republic vs Turkey
Georgia vs Portugal

Honestly, I have too many obligations and hustle in real life, so I don't pay attention, or maybe I just don't have much time, to insignificant milestones and anniversaries.
I must admit that I am often surprised by the need to congratulate similar things. But I guess those are forum stuff.

Certainly, congratulations on so much activity on the forum.
I appreciate what you said about being too busy in real life to worry about milestones and anniversaries as they are insignificant. I would not be surprised if by far the majority of forum members felt that way. Real life obligations and activities always have to take priority over anything else therefore I hope all members have the same view. Thankfully I am not one that needs an ego stroke or ego boost by receiving congratulations or congratulatory messages thus this thread was not created for that purpose.

I am assuming more such achievements will follow unless you are no longer active.
If you remain active I am sure you will reach many milestones too. Hearing about how you felt when you reached some of your milestones would have been been nice.

You are about 7,000 posts away from the number of posts the person with the 10th most posts has
Maybe I will never make the top 30 but it is fine, I am glad just to be a member here. You did not mention the feelings or sentiments you had when reached a milestone that had meaning.
63  Economy / Exchanges / Re: eXch - instant exchange BTC / LN / XMR / LTC / ETH / ERC20 on: June 25, 2024, 07:15:26 PM
I did not allude to anything on the contrary. I am glad they are open to the idea of adding more options to their website. Reputation on any website is extremely difficult to come by and from is apparent within the forum is that eXch have excellent reviews and feedback therefore whether they chose to expand or stay with the crypto they have, they will continue to attract new customers as well as retain existing ones.

It cannot be said that they are not thinking in that direction
64  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ EURO 2024 TOURNAMENT - Discussion Thread on: June 25, 2024, 02:57:45 PM
Well, the knockout stages Round of 16 already confirmed Switzerland vs Italy as the first game and it will take place on Saturday 29th June. Switzerland will be heavily tested in that game and for that reason no matter how good you (or I) expect them to play, I expect them to lose because Italy would be favourites to win.

Italy are reigning Euro champions but have not been the best team in the tournament. Yes we know Switzerland are capable of causing an upset because Italy do not look like a strong cohesive unit and if they get tested by the Swiss (like Spain did to them) we will be able to see how they adapt. Having said that, this is a knockout game and for that reason I think the vastly experienced Italian side will go through to the next round.

Switzerland team could perform well in next matches and we can expect good from that team.
65  Economy / Exchanges / Re: eXch - instant exchange BTC / LN / XMR / LTC / ETH / ERC20 on: June 25, 2024, 02:50:50 PM
I visited the website today and noticed they have not added any other new crypto to their list. I mentioned this before in a post some time ago and understood the reasons why the options were not expanding. Though it is not detrimental in an capacity to not increase the number of crypto available to exchange, it would certainly bring a bigger client base to their website. If eXch were offering those services at a compromise to their ethics or security, nobody would expect them to do it but if those two principles are not affected maybe they can consider it.

Keeping that aside, I hope all is well because their forum representative has not been online since 3rd June 2024.

I hit exch.cx on Tor Browser, get redirected to - hszyoqwrcp7cxlxnqmovp6vjvmnwj33g4wviuxqzq47emieaxjaperyd.onion - and the connection times out. Is there a problem?
For me it took a long time to load but there was no other issue.

Modric was given a huge standing ovation as he was substituted with 10 minutes of the game remaining, it looked as though Croatia were going to finish the group in second place and would automatically qualify for the next stage. It was his 178th cap for his country and now it seems highly likely he will not appear in another Euro or World Cup because in a few months he will be 39 years old.

What a player he was for Tottenham, Real Madrid and Croatia.

In order for Croatia to have any chance to qualify for the next stage, England have to beat Slovenia by three goals and Turkey to beat the Czech team.

Can their second chance make them (Croatia) ruthless and more aggressive when they start up a new chapter in this tournament? Only time will tell because they have one leg in the tournament and the other on the exit door.

It seems like yesterday that I had made 10,000 posts during my journey in the forum and now I am on 17,000 posts.

Upon reaching this particular milestone I did not have feelings of jubilation, I think it is just a reminder that slowly but surely numbers increase every day. With that it is also a reminder that every so often we learn about members that were part of the forum are sadly no longer with us (and our condolences and best wishes are always for their family, friends and loved ones).

When I reached 10,000 posts I had a different feeling, it felt like a memorable moment for me and at the time I did it without wearing a signature. Since then I have participated in numerous campaigns and it has been different journey because it has been financially rewarding too.

If I am fortunate enough to have good health and am able to continue being a forum member, I will be posting about my 20,000th posts milestone one day Grin

What were your feelings when you reached a milestone that had sentimental value to you regardless of what others may have thought about it? It could be about the number of posts made or related to merits or anything else. Kindly share.

68  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ZKHAMSTER SCAM on: June 24, 2024, 10:44:01 PM
Seems like the classic drainer scam. You connect your wallet to the service, give it the needed permissions without checking what you are actually doing, and they drain your wallet of any valuable tokens. I have seen similar ads on Twitter about projects promising to return all the fees you spent on the Ethereum network. It's all a scam, of course, but obviously one that manages to trick enough people.
These types of scams are becoming more prevalent and it is concerning reading about how regular they are becoming. There is no way effective way to clamp down on them therefore people have to remain vigilant. Any sort of plugin people do not know too much about should not be downloaded especially one that will try to connect to a wallet. People should just a make a policy of not trusting them unless they are from a verified source with excellent ratings, reviews or feedback.

This scam project was widely promoted by numerous unscrupulous influencers. The ZKHAMSTER project exploited the wave of angry trends on Platform X against the ZkSync project due to their unfair airdrop. They aimed to deceive and drain users' funds through their rug project, which claimed to offer a refund for ZkSync users' fees using the scam $ZKHAMSTER token and their phishing website.

It is worth noting that any projects or sites claiming to offer a refund for cryptocurrency gas fees are a clear scam, as we have seen before with phishing sites claiming to refund Ethereum gas fees. Therefore, caution is advised, and it is essential not to follow the recommendations and tweets of influencers, as they are likely to be partners in this scam with the perpetrators of these fraudulent projects.
Maybe those are the star attractions that make gullible people fall for the scam in the first place. It is sad reading about any victim of wallet draining scams.
69  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2024/2025 on: June 24, 2024, 10:17:46 PM
It is good to read your posts in this thread, where have you been hiding?  Grin

I was surprised when a team such as Bayern Munich opted to sign Kompany as their manager after he just got relegated in his first season as a Premier League manager. More often than not, Bayern make long term decisions and think things through properly. Now we will see Kompany manage Kane in the Bundesliga.

Ipswich Town played very well in the Championship, I will not be surprised if they win that game because they will be looking to take full advantage of Liverpool visiting them with a new manager in a new era. The Klopp era is over and I cannot see a new manager having it easy in the early phase of his appointment, this will be a challenging time for him.

Couldn't agree more about the new Chelsea coach and I see it them same way with Bayern Munich signing Kompany because he took Burnley back into the Premier League. I have said it over an over again: these new coaches have only one shot to get the respect from their team, the bosses and the media, and that is if they win every game. If Chelsea or Bayern don't win the first two games, discussions will immediately be through the roof and that doesn't make it any easier for unproven coaches.

But then again the market for these high profile coaches is drying out. Klopp is gone for now. Mourinho went to Turkey (although he is not high profile anymore in my opinion), Ancelotti might retire in 2026 or take over a national team, Nagelsmann is a national coach, Guardiola might soon choose to end or put on stop his career as a club coach. Tuchel might be the only one, whatever someone might think of him.
So somehow they are forced to do some experiments.

I don't think that Liverpool will land a landslide victory against Ipswich Town. These games against promoted teams in their home stadium on matchday 1 are often times incredibly tough.
70  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ EURO 2024 TOURNAMENT - Discussion Thread on: June 24, 2024, 10:10:00 PM
These were results of the games played to 24th June:

Albania 0-1 Spain
Croatia 1-1 Italy

These are the results of the games played yesterday 23rd June:

Scotland 0-1 Hungary
Switzerland 1-1 Germany

It was a really sad ending for Croatia. They were so close to winning the match but Italy's goal in the last moment shattered their dreams. After this result it looks quite difficult for Croatia to be one of top 4 3rd-placed teams to reach next round. They need Slovenia and Czechia to get really bad results to carry themselves to the 4th place. If we beat Czechia and Slovenia lose to England by at least 3 goals then Croatia would have a 2nd chance.  Smiley

It must be painful for Croatia to be that close to finishing the table in second place and getting automatic qualification to the next stage and to lose that after conceding a goal nearly eight minutes in to time added-on. As a result Italy finished in second place but they are now relying on England to win by at least three goals (and that is possible) to get them through as one of the best 3rd placed teams.

Germany also scored a goal a couple of minutes in to time added-on for their equaliser but they finished the group as leaders but Hungary scored around ten minutes in to time added-on and they have been knocked out.

These are the games taking place tomorrow 25th June:

France vs Poland
Netherlands vs Austria
Denmark vs Serbia
England vs Slovenia

A Chelsea - Manchester City match at the beginning already? Oh boy!  Grin

The one at Stamford Bridge last season was incredible... It was played under rain and it ended by a huge score like 4-4. What a match that was! I hope we see another delightful one this time also.  Smiley
That game was brilliant last season at Stamford Bridge. Pochettino and Guardiola were trying their best to get all three points. It was almost end to end football with attack and counterattack all the way. Two late goals (one to give Manchester City a 3-4 lead and then a penalty for Chelsea in time added-on to make it 4-4) made this a memorable game.

I remember when Pochettino came on to the pitch furious with the referee for blowing the full-time whistle because he wanted the game to continue as Chelsea were mounting a counterattack. I cannot recall seeing Pochettino being that angry before.

I am actually looking forward to this game Chelsea vs Man City because it will pretty quickly give an idea whether Chelsea is about to go for another horror season. Maybe they can manage to get going with a good start and things change for the better, but hard to believe though. Then again, last season they got started with a draw against Liverpool and it didn't mean much.
Chelsea need to hit the ground running for the new season otherwise they will suffer. They have a new manager who is unproven and I think they could regret signing him because taking Leicester City from the Championship to the Premier League does not make him a suitable manager for a club such as Chelsea.

I think some of the games that include the promoted teams could also be interesting, like Ipswich Town at home against Liverpool with a new coach. Ipswich Town will be motivated like crazy in their first home game and for Liverpool a big change has happened.
When you think about the Ipswich Town manager being an ex-Manchester United coach, you can understand why he would want to beat Liverpool.
72  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Pre court hearing update - Cryptopia Account Holder on: June 24, 2024, 08:24:40 AM
That sounds about right to me. They have to be seen as fulfilling their legal obligations and for those reasons they will continue to send out all sorts of emails. Let us not forget that Grant Thornton have spent a huge amount of funds on (as they put it) trying to recover all of the assets.

Regardless of the emails, not all victims will be receiving their funds. One of the loopholes that victims were stuck in related to them not wanting to give KYC therefore had to forfeit any assets that belonged to them and they are not happy about it.

As when i forget about Cryptopia (and my loss), i got another email from Cryptopia Claims Portal <no-reply@cryptopia.co.nz>.
The context of the email is copied below. I don't think these comminucation from them is any beneficial to the Cryptopia Account Holders, as i don't think they have any intent to return the money. They are just fulfilling the legal requirements and pretending that they are serious in returning funds.

These are the games taking place today 23rd June 2024:

Scotland vs Hungary
Switzerland vs Germany

Regardless of what happens when Switzerland play Germany, if Scotland beat Hungary they will end the group stage with four points and that should be enough to get them through to the knockout stages (the first time ever in a major tournament) by virtue of being one of the best 3rd placed teams.

74  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ POLL ] The Rematch: FURY vs USYK 21st December 2024 on: June 23, 2024, 09:31:34 AM
Fury has to add more aggression to his strategy. Perhaps it might help if he turns the fight into a brawl. Outfighting is highly advantageous to the much quicker Usyk.
I guess he already knows where he went wrong in the unification fight and will try to rectify the errors for the rematch. Having said that, Usyk is a fantastic boxer and would try his best to counter whatever strategy Fury brings to the ring.

I've not seen where Fury claimed he didn't lose the match between himself and Usyk, he may only try to talk the winning down but the match was clear and the decision was never divided.
We can agree or disagree with what Fury says or believes but he clearly stated that as far as he was concerned he had won the fight. I am surprised you missed it if you had seen the video. Watch the video in the link provided by hilariousetc and when the video gets to 1m 38s Fury clearly states: "I watched the fight back lots of times, still got he same answer, I thought I won the fight, I thought I did enough"

These are the full results from the game played yesterday:

Slovakia 1-2 Ukraine
Poland 1-3 Austria
Netherlands 0-0 France

I expected The Netherlands vs France to produce at least a goal for each time therefore that game was a bit of a let down. It was the first game of Euro 24 that ended 0-0 at full time. Maybe if Mbappe was playing the result would have been different.

The goal Simons scored for Netherlands and was disallowed but it was a difficult decision to make. On one hand the goal should have stood because the player that was in an off-side position was not even interfering with play and was not in the line of sight between the goalkeeper and the ball. On the other hand, he was less than one metre away from the goalkeeper to his left side. The strike from Simons was excellent and deserved the goal but firs the referee ruled it out after his assistant told him the player was off-side and then VAR had a decision to make to overrule or confirm the original decision.

Poland losing 1-3 to Austria was a surprise but Poland have been eliminated from the competition as a result. As mentioned in an earlier post, well done to Ukraine for getting their first points of the tournament.

I stand corrected. Thank you for correcting me because I made an error when I incorrectly stated your Ambatman account was banned. I also re-iterate the fact that the Ambatman account is not banned. You had some issues with accessing the account and you were trying to reset the password (to which admin have not yet really made any progress on resolving for you). Thank you.

Of course it wouldn't be of any important to someone of your caliber
But it is to me
Getting those merit no matter how small didn't come easy for me.
And in respect to signature campaign
You can tell am in known
I want to build my account and I believe have gotten quite far with Ambatman.

Something of note. I'm not banned
Was never
Has never
And likely would never
I'm dealing with a forgotten password case not a ban appeal. Thank you.
77  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ EURO 2024 TOURNAMENT - Discussion Thread on: June 21, 2024, 05:05:14 PM
I would not go the point of saying they had a thrilling game. The main question on my mind was what on earth was wrong with the England midfield. I have to give full credit to Denmark for not letting England walk all over them and they scored a fantastic equaliser after England took the lead through Kane.

RESULT: Slovakia 1-2 Ukraine

Ukraine come from a goal down to win their first game and collect their first points of the tournament. The Poland vs Austria game is at half-time with the scores 1-1.

England Vs Denmark match was thrilling match and I think everyone enjoy this match because both team gave their hundred percent to win this match. The match was between equal sides and both team score was 1  goal and both team got 1 , 1 point.  Kane did first goal for his country and no body could second goal for his country. Hjulmand did goal for his country in the  34 minutes of the match. The shots of Denmark team were more and they striked many shots and 7 shots were on target . The passes of Denmark team were 548 and passes of England team were 528 . The fouls of Denmark team were also more in number and that were 13 but the fouls of England team were 5 .Pass accuracy of both teams was equal and Possessions of Denmark team was more and that was 51 percent.
78  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2024/2025 on: June 21, 2024, 05:02:20 PM
That is the beauty of the game, there are a huge number of games between teams that are capable of beating each other therefore both fans and neutrals can select any game they deem to a mouth-watering prospect to be their game of the day. It has the same principle in every league around the world but where it is taken to a new level is in the Premier League because on any given day, most teams at the bottom of the table are probably able to hold their own against the bigger teams.

Brentford vs Crystal Palace is a London derby between smaller clubs but still excites fans of both teams (I am unsure about neutral fans on this one).

Not too excited for Chelsea vs Man City tbh.  I mean with Chlesea still struggling and all...  And who is Chelsea's new manager again?  Lol.  But yeah, I'd like to watch West Ham vs Aston Villa.  That should be a decent match up with unpredictable results, tho Aston Villa could be the favorite.

Another fixture I'd like to watch is Brentford vs Crystal Palace.  I'd like to see Brentford's new player acquisition who they splashed the cash for.  Grin  They broke the club record for cash spent on an acquisition.  It's weird for a club like them as they follow something like a money ball philosophy in player transfers.
79  Other / Meta / Re: Second chances on: June 21, 2024, 06:27:43 AM
Ambatman 2 is trying hard to have the ban removed from his Ambatman account as can be seen by several threads dedicated to that cause. To be honest, it seems the only reason he has to try to retrieve the account is because it is enrolled on a signature campaign. It is not as though there is anything of substance provided by that account historically which is supposed to important enough for him to hold on to the account. It is simply about having an account that was being monetised via a signature campaign.

It has been some time since he started his quest to have his account retrieved but it does not look as though admin are allowing it. We do not know the reasons.

Also, is the second chance thread going to be remain open for the long term? I am curious to know long the goodwill gesture from admin will last.

if I could access that I wouldnt need this
I could have just used forgotten password.
I am not saying that you are lying. I am just trying to explain why they are probably not responding to your email. While your issue might be genuine, it can also be a security loophole with which hackers use to access accounts of other unsuspecting users so it's an extremely sensitive matter.
80  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A New Way to Think About Currency: The "Unit" Concept on: June 21, 2024, 05:54:11 AM
I think the OP has wishful thinking because there are people all over the world that are offering the same idea in a universal name for currency descriptions. I do not see the need for it and it is impractical to conceive as well as impossible to implement. Who for example will accept it and who will decline? It will have zero consensus.

If I remember correctly, up until payments for some campaigns were made in mBTC I also never understood the concept, never really looked in to it properly as sats and BTC were always enough.

I only use satoshis/bitcoins. I find the rest of the unit systems confusing and unnecessary. I never understood mbtc for example and never used it. As bitcoin gets more expensive, we all will be using satoshis to name a price anyway.

New unit systems create more confusion and people don’t like to adapt to the new system right away. Especially when they have something which works well already. (Satoshis and bitcoins)
