@Shahim, GitHub link is returning a 'Not found' error.
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETC on Polo on: July 24, 2016, 08:50:24 AM
It blows me away how much traction this puppy has already picked up on poloniex.  I wonder what the network hashrate is for ETC?  If it's literally 1/18th or less of ETH it would literally be more profitable to mine it than eth at current polo rates.

Watch the price of this thing tumble when people wake up and find this on their balance...

Free money is an instant sell for most, especially when the dev team is not actively supporting it and there is potentially someone around that got hold of 5-6 million ETC through the DAO hack...
Hadn't even considered the DAO hack aspect of it. Just kicking myself in the butt for not keeping what few remaining eth I did have on polo at the time of the hard-fork now :/

"Coulda been a contenda!!" :p

Interested in checking this out.  Could you please PM me necessary details?
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MAX] MaxCoin - Alive and Kickin' on: July 10, 2016, 10:07:15 PM
Is Keizer ever coming back to this coin?

No, even Keizer can only smell rancid farts for so long.
I remember when they attempted to generate the genesis block for maxcoin on one of Keiser's shows.  Lets just say it didn't go very well.  But I think TravelsAsia's rather colorful response is likely accurate given how quickly he focused his efforts on whatever that p2p lending based coin he had developed shortly after maxcoins launch.
66  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Freelancers / contractors can now invoice in fiat, get paid in bitcoin on: July 09, 2016, 03:35:31 AM
what's the fiat arrangement? do you handle the sale or does it somehow interface with the regular payment processors?

The plan is to integrate with fiat processors later. Right now it only allows you to get bitcoin. You have to manually convert your bitcoin to fiat using your local exchange.
In lieu of this a pretty nifty feature request might be to give the user ability to have their respective btc to fiat gateways fee's factored into price before invoice generation.

And how do I bring that invoice (paid or not) backup again?  I know the invoice # it gave me but beyond that nothing really.

You should store the invoice link carefully, it contains the decryption key example :

https://www.blockonomics.co/invoice/79/#/?key=77C97D5C455D5648F30BB1F46A0A8BCF9A3CBC81794CE76476665C3BBFF05310

Our server doesn't know the decryption key and cannot recover your invoice without that. Check your browser history the link should be there.

Thanks
Great, that got it.  We will see how she behaves with a minimum fee transaction as now my slight overpayment could just as easily become an under-payment :p

Great interface and dig the concept.  I'm waiting on a test payment using the system now (invoice #81) with an intentional slight overpayment.

What exchange rate(s) are you using?

Thanks,  we are using rates from https://bitcoinaverage.com/ . Which currency are you using ?

Bitcoin.  Just did a quick low-fee transaction to check out the interface (still hasn't even confirmed).

70  Economy / Goods / Re: CigsSpot.com - original cigarettes for low price on: July 02, 2016, 03:59:36 AM
Great site...unfortunate you don't carry the brand I smoke.

You manage to get any of these in stock shoot me a PM would ya Smiley

Let me be the first to stay they are absolutely the best. Very fast delivery and free tracked shipping. The cigarettes itself are normal cigarettes we have in the EU.

Was worth a shot.  Spirits are available in the EU (at least in Paris and Istanbul) Wink
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★[ANN] [NAV] NAV COIN - ANONYMOUS TECH. ● NAV 2.0 SOON ● NEW ROADMAP ● CHAT ● on: July 02, 2016, 03:50:50 AM
What a mess with Nav 2.0 and 1.0
I tried to send from trex to polo but then I realised  that these two aren't compatible
But why 1.0 are worth more???
That won't work...trex is running NAV 2.0 chain whereas polo still on 1.0, you can only exchange between compatible versions of NAV blockchain, i.e.
Polo -> Cryptopia and Bittrex -> Alcurex

Insofar as your question as to why 1.0 are worth more (that depends on the exchange), actually worth less on Cryptopia's buy side.  Regardless, impossible to say why 1 or more people pushed it so high on polo earlier today.

So are you basically looking for partners?  There's a possibility of my landing a medium to long term contract in the area is why I'm asking and wouldn't mind running a few of my rig's at your location if on the level.
73  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best strategy in Roulette ? on: July 01, 2016, 04:07:07 AM
Absolutely no winning betting strategy for roulette insofar as I've been able to determine.  Your much better off going with either Blackjack or Poker imho.

Ok fellas, I've regained access to my old wallet and trying to load new v3.5 client onto newer laptop so I can swap my coins over but seemingly not finding a single peer after an hour worth of searching.  Anybody have a valid peerlist they can hook me up with?

If it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck chances are it's a duck.

Wouldn't touch this one with a 10-foot pole!

Small tip sent.  Had no idea this puppy existed but glad I've found it now.  Particularly like the Swaps Calculator (Fixed Interest) but would love to see it for other 3x available currency pairs.

Keep up the great work.  Like the Long vs Short Sentiment page as well very slick.

Personally I would probably go with a 90-120 day timeframe.  Sufficient time to perform the swap (for those that haven't already, myself included), and ample time time for you guys to prepare for the switch.
79  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Btcbump - bump your thread | Price updated on: June 27, 2016, 12:10:48 AM
Good move.  At this price point your far more likely to attract some interest.

I like it.  Took awhile to load on my laptop but that could be because I'm on wifi at the airport.  Can't really tell for sure.  Particularly like that it isn't plastered with ad-sense advert's either Smiley
