Agreed, especially without the PSU included, virtually no chance of your getting any bites on this one I suspect.

Continuation of sales in progress ..

Its called a rally.
At least in this thread :p.

Quote
The question is buy cheap .. or blow off?

Define cheap.

Thing is, dividends are all but irrelevant at this point. It will amount to almost nothing from here to eternity. But cryptx still owns hardware thats worth something. Question is, will he hang on to it, lowering his fees if need be, until its worth virtually nothing or will he close this security and sell his mine in the next month or so? Buying at pretty much any price IMO is a bet that PETA mine will close fairly soon, and that he will manage to actually sell his hardware, which may be tougher than for most, considering his burnt reputation by sending broken hardware.

I think he will let people vote, to let the mine run, and that the remaining shareholders just have to send some BTC to cover the hosting fees... and by wonders unknown to mankind, 90% will vote in favor...

Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin
lmao.  now that's funny.  Maybe if we only secure say 75% this time CryptX will actually follow through with shareholders wishes?!  Personally I seriously doubt CryptX will be doing anything anytime soon to the benefit of his shareholders.

Dear Investors,

We've been receiving quite a few questions regarding whether or not we will be investing in new hardware.  The answer is hell no!  That would require that we give a f!@#  We gave you people a choice and you made it now quit complainin and take these ever decreasing dividends and hold onto them for dear life.  Bitcoin ever hits the $10-12K mark you must might break even after all.  Now let's turn those frown's upside down people because we here at CryptX will continue to monitor the bitcoin mining 'situation' closely!

:p

"Not Staking because you don't have mature coins"

Was staking just fine up until my last bit of PoS coins came in earlier this morning.
When you got your last stake coin age was reseted so it should pass 8 hours untill your coins mature to start pos

Either way the price has rallied from what some people said was certainly the death of PETA,I feel like I need Dramamine

Funny rally. Price is    ฿0.001. -86% in three months. If thats a rally, I wonder what a crash looks like.

As for the delay in difficulty affecting dividends, of course there is significant variability too, but latest divs where 0.00000545. Thats a lot of zero's. It wont be long before havelock needs to add decimal places.
Ain't that what all this fancy "new math" craze is all about :p

Yeah, talk about a whopping dividend.  Looks like this puppy is going to be crashing alot faster than I anticipated.

951  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why has Satoshi Nakamoto disappeared??? on: August 22, 2014, 06:36:26 PM
Anybody got any idea? Why doesn't the organization or person reveal itself? Why doesn't he work for it anymore?

Unfortunately, in all likelihood, Satoshi revealing his identity to the public would at best result in the complete destruction in at least one of the things I assume Satoshi hold's dear...his privacy!  Remember how poor old Dorian Nakamoto was hounded so badly after that Newsweek article?  Now, just imagine that to the nth power and you probably have a pretty good idea as to why he hasn't made his/her identity known to the public.  Just a hunch.

Plus, if I had just created what is undoubtedly the single most disruptive instrument to the established debt-based fiat economy (i.e. all the power-players in the world currently), I think I might be slightly scared for my life where my identity to get out.

There would be 0 probability of leading anything resembling a 'normal life' where he to reveal who he or she is.
952  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie starting his BTC hobby. on: August 22, 2014, 06:25:26 PM
Everyone gets told its pointless to mine, but we need miners for BTC to function. So whats the deal? who is getting profits there then?
Mining is profitable but only in huge colocations with serious capital investment and knowhow. At least that's what I have come to conclude based on people's experiences.
Sure wish I fell into this category.  Personally, if your primary motive is profit mining bitcoin is probably the last aspect of the ecosystem your going to want to get into.  Just imagine yourself purchasing tens of thousands of dollars worth of specialized hardware only to discover the the instant you pay for it price depreciation kicks in immediately...a price depreciation unlike any you have likely seen in your lifetime (no joke) and combine that with the ever increasing difficulty and what you have is a recipe for profitability disaster.
953  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: why people scare to show their identity if they are doing legal on: August 22, 2014, 06:19:40 PM
You know it's funny.  A thousand years ago when I was but a youth our privacy used to be a God given right rather than a reason to assume people are trying to do ill.  Looks like the powers that be are quite effective at shifting overall global perspective on something so baseline as a person's basic privacy?

By the same token of the OP, why would you not simply allow your entire life to become the next reality TV show?  I mean, if your not doing anything wrong what do you have to hide right?
954  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Alpha Technology Litecoin (Scrypt) ASIC Miner Order Batch 1 Now! on: August 22, 2014, 08:52:17 AM
What is the latest news on Alpha?

They promised July delivery and it is now almost September. Are they going to reimburse all the lost mining time?
Reimburse us?  Haven't you heard?  We are soon to be the proud new shareholders in this computer case beast mode company!  Man, we are all going to be rich!  /* sarcasm */
955  Economy / Digital goods / Re: update error topic Crypto Exchange Script 0.5 BTC [NO BUGS] & Secure! on: August 20, 2014, 01:26:20 AM
you can see more here
http://coinpal.net/
Got some news for ya mister.  I've tried the coinpal.net site because I was stupid enough to actually invest in the coinpal.net asset listed on crypto::stocks and I can say with 100% certainty that your script no work. At least not in its present version on coinpal.net

I transferred a # of doge coin's into my registered account on that exchange and amazingly enough not only was I unable to do a single exchange or withdraw my funds, but I discovered that over 80% of my deposited coins where literally missing the very next day.

Amazing piece of work you got there.  Don't suppose you ever sold a copy of this bad boy to a really fat pasty fella with a French accent would you have? :p
What your account in coinpal.net?
username: oh-yeah
did you deposit 274doge? correct?
Precisely, and your script is showing that I have a balance of 125 doge's.  Not only that, it won't even allow me to withdraw them.  Just imagine how pissed I would've been had I actually deposited a significant amount of some coin actually worth something.

BTW, how on earth is it that you have access to administrative account of coinpal.net when it's supposedly owned and run by Ryan Gay?  Are you still actively supporting it?  Did you sell him this script?
coinpal.net is my script and I sell for Ryan Gay and I help him support you
What your username/password and I will check for you
pm sent

Wow.  Great feature add-on there.  Give up a little bit of the house-edge in order to bring more customers in.  Pure genius!
957  Economy / Securities / Re: [HAVELOCK] PETAMINE - 1,150 TH/S HASH RATE (1GH/S per Unit) on: August 19, 2014, 11:33:57 PM
Exactly. I assume that cryptx will lower his fees, which is bound to be much higher than his costs. Dissolution and distributing the proceeds to shareholders does not benefit him since he doesn't hold any shares.

He does. Unless he dumped them all since, he converted the loan in to 4650 peta shares (x14 after split).
But he seems to be trying to get rid of them. Check the Scryptx updates, he is offering scryptx shareholders peta shares rofl.

I saw that as well.  I've been making my voice heard over there on scrypt based thread letting everybody know what time it is with regards to CryptX and crew.  If I had to lay money I'm betting that it is indeed this option (14:1 issuance) that will end up coming to pass.  A whole lot easier for CryptX to keep track of the satoshi's he's robbing his investors out of if only having to manage a single asset.  CryptX is basically like one of those fat-cat central bankers at this point in my mind.  Could give a flying <beep> about what shareholders vote on.  Half-baked hardware purchasing decisions that he knew would go south the minute he paid for them.  Both of his asset's are a complete joke and I suspect by this point he's made so much money of of them that it doesn't really matter a cat's whisker to him that he's basically thrashed his reputation here.  Just my opinion though.

So are they really gonna just let it die?I would think they would be forced to do something soon or liquidate and pay out a one time big dividend

You seem to be under the impression that this is not going the way cryptx planned, and that the purpose of the project is not to extract the maximum amount of hosting fees.

This situation was already foreseen in the prospectus - see the section under dissolution.

However, it's pretty doubtful that there will be any value left in the assets at that point in time.
Yup.  Although I'm thinking a more appropriate title for this section might've been "My Poverty solution"...at least as it applies to cryptx himself.
