61  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Relationship between newbies and heroes on: May 09, 2024, 04:54:48 AM
What the hell is going on lately, there was a similar thread created yesterday as well about the same topic and one before a week or so, this makes me assume that these all are coming from someone who got neg or something like.

OP if you really want to learn anything then start reading instead of typing that will help you to grow your knowledge and you may wonder why I am saying this cause you can find a similar thread where the discussion is going on already, so you can give your opinion there instead of creating a new thread.

Lock thread, which you can find in the lower left corner of this thread's page.
62  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why do they always attack the newbies? on: May 08, 2024, 07:14:27 PM
We all started from the scratch and we're all here to learn, but their are some people that sees newbies as a disturbance to forum. I started like a newbie infact we all started like a newbie and gradually we all grow to the rank we're now. So I'll advise to those people seeing the newbies as if they're here to harm others please we're here to learn more about cryptocurrency, we all have a target on here.

Who you call as they? It would be appropriate if you came up with actual evidence to back your claim then you would be appreciated.

But here you came with just a thread, nothing to backup what you're saying then don't be surprised if people didn't react in the way you expected.

Internet community is far different, you have to face different things and If you feel offended for everyone's comment then loss is for you.
63  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Aviator games on: May 08, 2024, 05:10:30 PM
Crash games are popular though as far as I remember, it's just a pure luck as most of the casino games and RTP or others doesn't really matter. I have tried it too and most likely I didn't win anything that's why I don't have that in my memory but I had seen lot of people playing it because it's simple, can give returns like something unexpected, no need any skills to play apart from having money in your casino account.
Yeah it's true, crash games are won by luck and talking about this aviator games, it can't be predicted and that's the main reason why it's won by luck. There are different types of crash games in the casinos, especially the online casinos and those crash games are what people who gambles for fun play mostly. They just enjoys the view of it, crash games doesn't need your predictions, it's mainly for luck and lose.

We can't deny that people win huge money in the crash games too, on a daily basis that is what makes people bet on games such require pure luck and nothing else which makes it one of the perfect games to bet for gambling lovers.

Just enter when you feel it's right and let fate decide your destiny.
64  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: time to re-sync a full node after power-outage on: May 08, 2024, 02:46:18 PM
Hello,

for the case there should be a power outage, will the entire blockchain be downloaded again or only the changes (since the outage)?

Thank you!

It can go either way, there are people who said they just started from where it left even after the hard shutdown and in many cases they might needed reindexing which means you have to download the entire blockchain again to get things going.

It's always better to have a backup power or atleast the mini PC inverter which can give you few minutes time to save and shutdown properly, it's necessary to have one not just for nodes but anyone who use PC's to avoid data corruption.
65  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you disguise on your real gambling lifestyle just to help a friend/relative? on: May 08, 2024, 08:31:14 AM
I am generally not good at disguising, I will say what's on my mind, if not I will turn around and walk away. It's not smart to talk with everyone, no matter how we say it, some people will misunderstand us. So sometimes it's better to keep quiet and mind our own business.

Exactly, it's none of our business no matter even if the person is your blood relative, of course we have the responsibility to guide them but in gambling, I don't think so, I may give a few tries if the person is really close to me and if they don't care then why should I care?

They are adults just like me so they should know what they are supposed to do and not, and if they violate it then they have to face the consequences too.
66  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you disguise on your real gambling lifestyle just to help a friend/relative? on: May 08, 2024, 07:16:03 AM
I don't give advice to anyone not just gambling but anything cause no one really gives attention to what we say until they learn the lesson by themselves, so stop wasting time by doing things which is not going to make any change. I do have a bad side so does everyone, once in a while it may go out of control but as long as it doesn't affect me or anyone that I care then it is completely fine.

68  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Between females and males, who are more resistant to gambling losses?  on: May 06, 2024, 03:19:04 PM
I am not a psychologist to answer which gender is stronger in terms of controlling and managing their emotions but generally speaking, women tend to have better control over their emotions than men which makes them to handle things better than men on an average scale.

But the value average is just useless cause one maybe completely weak and one can be strong as rock in whatever things they d and if they fall under the same gender the only mean value will be taken into account.
69  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies should be forewarned. on: May 06, 2024, 06:10:28 AM
There is only way to avoid this, just create a new meta mask wallet, probably it will take couple of minutes either in PC or even in your smartphone then use it for the airdrop campaigns, and repeat the process for every new campaign, kind of complicated to manage though but if you really worried about your wallet getting drained by the fraudsters then I don't think there is any better alternative apart from not joining in such campaigns.
70  Economy / Gambling / Re: Building a unique Casino game from scratch. What features do you want? on: May 05, 2024, 04:41:46 PM
How's the progress of your unique casino game? After you've posted here, the thread that you've made OP has got a lot of replies but you have never come back.

You've been online yesterday and I guess that you've dropped and checked this thread out for more details.
OP was probably just absorbing all the information he reads in this thread, we as gamblers have a of idea to share, exactly what the casino should have to gain loyal gamblers and to attract a new one.

Or he could have been just bored and imagined he would start a casino and blah blah...

He said he wanted to create a game from scratch but Plinko isn't really a new game at all, it's been one of the oldest games so why did he say he wanted to build from zero and then mention Plinko?
71  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Seed phrase secure storage ideas, like multisig? on: May 05, 2024, 03:35:12 PM
Hello,
from various information sources, by summary concludes the current seed phrase storage as best:
2 of 3 multisig.

My understanding is a seed phrase will have 24 words.
These 24 words are then engraved onto 3 stainless steel hexkeys, so when 2 of these hex keys are brought together, the 24 words are revealed.
Then the user needs to enter the passphrase to fully recover the wallet.

So, is there a cold wallet with the software to make the multisig, as I don't know how to 'split' the 24 words into the 3 engraved stainless steel hexkeys?

If it's 2 of 3 multi Sig wallet then it would have three seeds, so you need to store three of them secure in whatever way you want to and the purpose of multiple signature wallet is to avoid single point of failure so if one of your seeds exposed then it would still require another 1 from the remaining two to have access to the funds.

Passphrase is extended custom seed word that is to increase the security further so if it's 24 seeds then the passphrase is 25th word, without it you would create different wallet and addresses.

Kind of confused what's really the purpose, is it about finding ways to store the seed words? Then why we are talking about multi Sig and passphrase.
72  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much of my salary should I use to gamble on: May 05, 2024, 01:55:04 PM
Gambling is becoming a popular thing in my locality almost everyone gamble and even colleagues gamble and engage in gambling related discussions at work,  so gambling is legal and very popular so there is no Shame in using part of a salary to gamble with that is why I am asking the question of what the right percentage from my salary that I should use to gamble?

As everyone asks, the percentage depends on how much your salary is, if you're making 100K a year, then considering 5% itself a decent or can go upto 10% but if you earn 10K then this won't apply cause you need to cover your basic needs which means no room for spending on things that isn't necessary.

If you still want to enjoy then can try the lowest amount possible on online so you won't have to worry about that your betting amount is very low than the people you hangout with.
73  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think casinos can stop demanding KYC? on: May 05, 2024, 01:16:26 PM
Casinos may not go back to old policies but there will be hundreds of other new casinos that will pop up with No KYC requirements so now what you will pick if it's between KYC required platform or a No KYC platform?

That sums up the purpose of this discussion so platforms will be forced back to what customers prefer if they want to be making profits.

At last, this is highly unlikely to happen that government will no longer require KYC.
74  Economy / Gambling / Re: BC.Game asking for KYC before letting me Withdraw on: May 04, 2024, 05:15:07 PM

Apparently they are stuck on me sending my passport. (which i did, its just expired). Ill renew it now. Takes about 2 weeks. Guess I have no other choice.

https://ibb.co/CvYgytL

This why you need to be updated with their ToS, I am kind of surprised with their verification too cause in certain cases they can manually verify the ID if there's no other choice available but for reason they are sticking with their which is within their rights but others might have atleast considered it.

Well, renew your password and proceed the KYC process again since there's no other way.
75  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which device do you prefer for gambling ? on: May 04, 2024, 04:00:21 PM
A lot of gambling sites have emerged during and after the Covid-19 era and a lot of people have since then joined the gambling community.
We now have a wider audience who likes to gamble on desktop, laptop, mobile phone etc...
This poll is to see the most preferred device for gambling which I assume should be desktop as it provides a bigger screen and better user experience than any other device.
But a lot of people prefer mobile phones too and so lets just hit it and see what the actual results are.

Anything that has big screen will always be my choice which is obviously PC, I wouldn't differentiate Desktop and Laptop cause basically both runs on the same platform with similar hardware.

I also used Mobile phone as well which is not that bad, but we have to be really careful since the chances of making errors while entering the bet amount or accidentally clicking the bet is higher than a PC due to high sensitive screens.
76  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do casinos require users to verify their identity through a KYC policy? on: May 04, 2024, 03:06:30 PM
I've read a lot of comments in this board stating that a user is required to undergo KYC if their account is suspected of cheating. Can anyone explain how it is necessary related to the subject? A detailed explanation would be better, but everyone's ideas are welcome, as I believe it's worth discussing so gamblers will not be misled regarding this matter, which pops up from time to time.

If the casino suspect anything is unusual then they have all the right to seek the verification of KYC documents even if the user did it earlier. And it will be helpful to avoid one who abuses the bonuses via multi-account but it's on the lowe tier compared to identifying people who use the platform to launder the money by depositing and wager with the least possible risk and then withdraw the money in such cases the users will be required to provide a source of funds as well.
77  Economy / Economics / Re: Starting a business without capital. on: May 04, 2024, 04:11:07 AM
Affiliate marketing will take time to build the audience based on your niche so it's not going to give you money from the day you start and I won't consider it as a business rather a job cause we are just part of promoting someone's product or service not our own.

You can see people say that every successful company started with zero capital but it's not entirely true, they started small with their money or taking loans then once they reached a position the investors were ready to throw in money that took those companies to next level, so starting with $0, is far away from reality.
Even most businesses you establish with a capital would still take time for you to build a good and strong customer and audience base since it's still relatively new. Time is one of the essential qualities of a good a thriving business, as you'll need time to nurture and expand the business so can actually know about it.

This is true though profit making in any business will take time at last but any business we start most likely to bring in the cash flow from the day one which could be very low but still the cash flow will help to run it while you are doing all these. Anyway I said that isn't even a business, it's same as some sales executive who work commission basis unless we are talking about someone who is already a celebrity and brands are waiting in queue because they know it's gonna be a sure shot.
78  Economy / Economics / Re: Personal Financial Goals vs Government expectations! on: May 03, 2024, 05:15:28 PM
I would say that it is kinda of impossible to find a way to exit the matrix here since we are all controlled and managed by the government I mean we have a government in every country and that is just how it works even in different countries they all have their own government so we can't really escape paying taxes not to mention the fiat money system is the best Ponzi scheme ever, earning money where the government could just easily print money whenever they want, we are the one paying the price by inflation. I mean probably you could if you're gonna do it illegally, in my first job the company didn't really pay taxes, there was no official receipt etc. Since the owner has a lot of connections etc. I guess you could it just wouldn't be legal.

The thing here is we are the ones that needed to adjust since there was just nothing that we could do, I've realized a lot of things because of the low income, if you really wanted to have financial independence you need is have a financial foundation and knowledge on it, One of my favorite quotes that I apply is, do not buy anything that you can't afford. Sometimes there are just things that we buy that we can't really afford that is why we are having a hard time with our financial things.

There is always a way and in fact these policies were made decades old so finding a loophole will be so much easier than ever. First of all we need to understand how things work where we live which will be completely different in another country so get yourself familiar with the laws, taxation and everything that's almost available to learn for free.

Going under the table, breaking the laws, and still operating the company is kind of evading tax which is possible too but we can't be sure when things will change but the rich guys are actually taking advantage of doing everything legally so no one can question them because they do everything by the books.

Adjusting, reducing all our expenses is typical mindset of an average person so we hinder out expenses for now and this is never-ending story so at one point there will be no place to shrink anything unless we act on it.
79  Economy / Gambling / Re: More revelations on the challenges of physical casinos on: May 03, 2024, 03:09:46 PM
Actually casinos won't have such problems at all, apart from they will throw you out when you keep winning in poker or any game because they assume you're doing things like counting cards or some tricks to best the odds which is uncommon though. What you said in OP more like a shop that has feature to bet on games, but it's preferable to always pick the place where everything is automated whether it's physical or online casino.
80  Economy / Economics / Re: Personal Financial Goals vs Government expectations! on: May 03, 2024, 11:56:18 AM

Aside learning all about the tax laws in your country, you also mentioned investment. Do you consider buying stocks and shares are investments that can exempt someone from paying taxes?
Buying stocks may not be enough to get exception when it comes to tax paying but once you reached certain position like holding stocks worth of million then you can take a loan using those stocks as collateral instead of cashing which you have to pay capital gains tax, the loan money can give you the access to money and lot of benefits when it comes to tax paying. Well this is super deep subject that may need actual knowledge but it's just overview of how it works.
