+1 to this. It also helps us all be able to check the code for any significant changes AND we can add to it to improve our miners or customize. Dear AMT I would like to formally request you post the source code to your cgminer modifications that you are distributing in binary only form which you are obliged to provide by law according to the license conditions of cgminer that you implicitly agreed upon by using it for your device. The new image doesn't work for me same issue as mentioned no A1 cards error in cgminer with verbose ?
On the original image, plugging in a HDMI cable helped me track down the ip address setup by default, it displays it at the end of the boot sequence...just enter in a browser and you'll hit the web home page, check on the setup to change your network and pool settings.
The next problem is I entered my pool details and account, it was displaying stats on the home page, but my pool wasn't showing any results registered against my account? It felt like it was ignoring my settings and mining against the default pool it came with...:-(
Will double check my settings again maybe try another pool and see if there's any difference, having command line login access would be good with this "working" original image, as right now I can't tell what cgminer is actually doing...
Why not just use the user interface. We're in the process of creating a help tutorial, something we should have already done. |

It looks like I got a different unit than everybody else? At least as far as the case and Pi (mine is red and thus from China) goes. The insides look kinda the same, bent power connectors and all. I just took some pics: http://imgur.com/a/FlTDMFor the record, my package had the red DHL Inspection sticker, was really beat up and taped together like hell, and had a plank of bamboo at the bottom. At least it wasn't a rusty piece of metal like others on here got... Please take a moment to remove one of the modules and take a picture of the PCB (printed circuit board). You'll see our Logo is on the board and we organized the assembly, production, components and everything else to get those models done. Our rack mount casing was not finished yet in order to be faster we shipped with those cases. Also our logo was on the front of the miner, but it seems have been removed. You can see the sticky square spot in the first photo. Also if you remove the screws and take off the top heatsink on the module, you'll see that the A1-chipset is A1-3, which is from the original batch we ordered from bitmine back in December. We used those chips for this build. Those are the indications that yes it is AMT. It may be a different design which we purchased, but its what we could afford in order to deliver. |

Hey All, One of my two miners are up and hashing. Here is what I've observed so far. 1. FANS: These things are LOUD. I have 8 dragon miners in the same space, and the 1 AMT miner is louder, but let me explain this. The fans on this thing are ridiculous. There are 3 large fans mounted on the top, and you can feel the air from across the room. These are VERY effective at moving the heat out of my miner. Certainly does a better job of cooling compared to the dragons. Its as if they stuck a box fan in front of the miner, and directed it through the miner. 2. Speed: This miner hashes as it should. On BTCGuild, I'm seeing about 1.27th. I haven't had a chance to test the miner for a long period of time because I got it today, but I'll update later. Seems to be running fine. I took the miners side door off to see what's inside, and it seems like it is the same setup as the dragon miners, but with 5 modules instead of 4. the controller board that hooks everything together looks nicer than the dragons, and I like how the raspberry pi is mounted on the same side as the psu connector. With my 4 cards working I'm getting a lower than expected hash rate. Can you let me know what to do to troubleshoot why the cards are working at a lower speed? I'm only getting an average of 730 GH. The 5th card is not attached right now since it doesn't work.

Just a quick idea before we get a technical answer on this. Get your brother to copy the card from his miner flash an sd card with the copied image. You can use win image 32 for making the copy. AMT, I got my brothers card and tried it on my machine this morning. The top card is still dead and the hashing on "one" of the other cards looked better this morning. However I did notice that on the card that seems like its not hashing fully, the heat sink is not properly placed on the card (its lifted up from one side). So it may be that the heat on the chips on that card are overheating which causes the card to not fully hash. Let me know if and how I should return the top card as its not turning on at all. I will let you know what the other cards hash rate it later on when I get back home. Thanks in Advance. AMT, So to summarize here are my current machine's standing... 1. Top card is completely dead - Never worked 2. Second card is only partially hashing - Never fully hashed. This is the card that its heat sink doesn't look like its fully seated from one side.
