61  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: September 03, 2023, 02:37:54 PM
Today's match is very important for Bangladesh and Bangladesh must win today's match even with more NRR. If Bangladesh can beat Afghanistan in today's match and if Sri Lanka can beat Afghanistan in the match between Sri Lanka and Afghanistan then Bangladesh will have a chance to qualify. To say that the real task for Bangladesh is to win today's match. However, if Bangladesh's opening pair plays badly, then it becomes very difficult for Bangladesh to form a big partnership with the next batsmen.
Rashid Khan a master of spin had an unexpected day giving up 66 runs in his 10-over performance against Bangladesh during the Asia Cup 2023 match without taking a wicket. Despite this Bangladesh was still able to score an outstanding 334-5 in the stipulated 50 overs. Mehdi Hasan Miraj and Nazmul Hasan Shanto who formed a great partnership and led their side to a dominant position, were the standout players for Bangladesh.
What a magnificent hundred from Mehidy Hasan Miraz and Nazmul Hasan Shanto. While Naim and Tawhid Hridoy only played for a short while, Bangladesh overall batting performance in today match 334 Posted demonstrated their impressive form.
In today's match, Afghanistan's two bowling all-rounders Mohammad Nabi bowled 10 overs and remained wicketless with 50 runs, Rashid Khan bowled 10 overs and remained wicketless with 66 runs, Afghanistan's pace bowler Fazalhaq Farooqui also bowled 10 overs and remained wicketless. Basically, the batsmen had a lot of advantage on today's pitch where Bangladesh scored 334 runs in the innings while only two bowlers were able to take two wickets without two run outs. If Afghanistan can perform well in today's match then maybe we will see something great. But Afghanistan are under pressure with the loss of one wicket to begin with and time will tell how well they can handle this pressure.

I think in today's match Afghanistan can't chase the target of Bangladesh, because the main player of Afghanistan Rahmanullah Gurbaz is gone out, which is a very bad thing for Afghanistan and Bangladesh needs to win this match with a nice and good NRR. Then Bangladesh can qualify for Super4.

Today is the match between South Africa women and Pakistan women. The last match is gone with full of suspense. Pakistan women won the toss and chose to field first. South Africa women have the advantage that at this time, Nida Dar is not in her form. She gave 39 scores and took 0 wickets and in the batting score is just two runs. In South Africa all women are in their form.
63  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Mixin Safe: A Convenient and Decentralized Multisig + MPC + Timelock solution on: September 03, 2023, 08:46:47 AM

Yes, but not just that. I guess educating people, explaining what your product does is a key to success. According to some feedback, some people don't really understand what this product is and what are the use cases. In case of MixinSafe, I guess many think that it's a mixer, probably because of the name, they think it's "mixing safe" where safe is an adjective. But in fact it's a safe wallet with mixing capabilities "Mixin" which is a brand name and "safe" as a safe deposit box in a bank (a noun). In any case, wouldn't it be better to come up with a more clear name and description of the service? Like Mixin Wallet for example?

At one side you said it is not a mixer and while on the other hand, you said, it's a wallet with mixing capabilities  Huh

Do you mean to say that we can mix our coins through this wallet and may not need a external mixer ?

And no Ethereum  Huh I thought this could be the third one in the list too.
Why? Just because it's popular? It's a pre-mined scam which is happy to roll back the chain to censor people if the devs so choose. It's the opposite of all the things you want from a proper cryptocurrency.

You got this right but still it will reach another heights in the next bull market but on the other hand, as the regulation becomes strict Privacy coins like XMR will be delisted from exchanges, and retail will be least interested in it. The price won't rise much as there will be no hype. And many people do not know the advantages of XMR over other altcoins.
65  Economy / Gambling / Re: How succesful will AI projects be to win the house? on: September 01, 2023, 03:46:13 PM
I don't understand one thing in this case scenario --> If you gamble with the AI, where is FUN? This is straight up with the intention to loot the casino and make money out of it quickly.

I mean. You gotta remember that we already have people who is willing (and somehow find entertaining) to see other gamble their money on streaming platforms during entire hours. It is pretty mush similar to those who watch lets plays on Youtube instead buying video games themselves.

So, if there are some many people out there who have fun watching gambling streams, then it is safe to assume they would no problem if they could use an artificial intelligence to automate their gambling sessions and at the same time improving their winning rates by some percentage points. I would not even about looting a casino, because we all know no casino would allow that to happen, they are a business; it is rather about enhancing their gambling experience.

But still i do not get it as how we can win through the AI on the gambling site. The gambling site will not let us integrate the AI tools with the site and having an AI bot which do not have an API linked with the online gambling site is useless. Think of it, that if we do bot trading, the bots are linked with the exchanges.

However the casino owners won't give us this privillage or will they ?

Asia Cup starts today Bangladesh vs Sri Lanka game starts at 3:30 PM at Parle Clay in. Skipper Shakib Al Hasan says Sri Lankan team is undoubtedly eternally strong but we will try to start the first match with a win. Meanwhile, Tamim Iqbal Liton Das is not able to play due to the engine, it may affect the team because these three important batsmen are not playing. Undoubtedly, the bowling of the Lankans is very good, so the Tigers of Bangladesh should watch their ball and bat well and play a good game. Finally, those who play well on the field will win. Of course, best wishes for the Bangladesh team. May they play well and win.

This is an important Group B match for both of the teams, Srilanka and Bangladesh. Since the match will be played in Srilanka, i think they will have the home advantage.  Group B has some tough competitive teams and no team can afford to lose matches in this group.
67  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are successful gamblers seen as addicts? on: August 31, 2023, 04:17:51 AM
We have different perspective in life cause in my opinion I can say that there's a successful gamblers Yes they can won a good amount of money or let say they will won successively but I cannot say that they are successful in gambling cause there's no gambler has been successfull betting everyday maybe there's a gambler who bet on lottery and hit the jackpot then he became a millionaire or even billionaire but still it can't be called successful cause he won because of his luck without his luck he can not win.

However the society does not see the successful gambler as gambling addict. They treat them as role model for other gamblers which is not right.
As long as you are winning , people will appraise you even if you are addicted to gambling. That's a sad reality.
68  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: What happened to Coinomi? on: August 31, 2023, 03:25:53 AM
Any suggestions which multicoin wallet to use instead?
You surely know better than to ask me that question. Here's my solution: Electrum for Bitcoin and Monerujo for Monero. Sell all your shitcoins for one of these two. Tongue

And no Ethereum  Huh I thought this could be the third one in the list too.

Have you considered Unstoppable Wallet? Which is open source multi-crypto available on both Android and IOS.

For the altcoins and shitcoins Unstoppable wallet is the best, far better than the trust wallet.
69  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reckless gambling starts after a win round. on: August 30, 2023, 11:00:22 AM
Trying to hit a jackpot with gambling is like solo mining Bitcoin today, hoping to solve a block one day, mind you, many people are also chasing the same goal, and they will keep mining, wasting electricity every day just to hopefully solve a block one day.
Trying to win in gambling isn't only looking to hit a jackpot, hitting a big multipliers already enough as long as they're not suffer a huge losses. But many people can't stop even though they've earn some profit that definitely can make them happy, they choose to gamble more and increase their bet amount.

Don't gamble for looking to hit jackpot, you will not able to stop gambling.

Gambling is an addiction and surprisingly you won't be able to stop gamble even if you win or lose both. As you said, winning in gambling will make gambler more confident and he starts to believe that he can make unlimited money in gambling only because he had some recent good wins.

Same goes for losing, the gambler will keep on thinking that the next game he will hit big and recover the old loses but that big win never comes.
70  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gender in Gambling [differences between Women and Men in Gambling] on: August 30, 2023, 05:07:12 AM
Yeah, we've got almost 8 billion people all around the world on this planet. But not half of them are women, because as far as I know, there are a lot more women than men. But in terms of gambling, men have more numbers compared to women. However, I can't deny that the majority of women in gambling are more sensitive to playing in a casino, unlike men, who are more aggressive than women. And there are very few women who are experts in casino gambling.

How about the online casino ? Yeah the physical casino are mostly made for the men but i think that since the online gambling is getting popular they may be many ladies and women who are gambling and yet we are not aware because we are unable to see who is gambling behind the computer or mobile screen.
71  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Can we make multiple bitcoin wallets on hardware wallet ? on: August 30, 2023, 12:02:12 AM
Can we make multiple Bitcoin wallets on a hardware wallet?
For example, if someone has one Trezor wallet, can he make multiple wallets in it with different seed phrases?  Or one hardware wallet will have only one seed phrase.
72  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cockfighting? on: August 29, 2023, 02:55:31 PM
The gambler should take the cock fight as only for the fun.

I don't seem to find any enjoyment in letting two unknowing animals fight to the death just because humans said so. It's a crude form of entertainment, and people pay and bet on it not because they are entertained, but because it's their way of making money. I'm not an animal activist whatsoever, but knowing that these animals are fighting for their survival at the time that they are put inside the arena against their will? Well, that's something to think about, but I guess money and tradition come first before animal welfare.
This is a means of entertainment in some regions but not mine. The government can easily charge the people involved for abuse if animals and that can go as far  ending the people in charge to end up in jail. Jail is not a place for everyone but for people that keep going contrary to the rule of law. This kind of fight is mostly a betting stuff and some people see it as sport but that us left to them. Gamblers that most bet on this kind of sport are mere villagers that always look for means to make money for themselves indulging in animal sports like using hen, ram etc to fight and make bets.

I don't think the aim of allowing animals fight wasn't to targeted to the point of death although such may have resulted at the end of the whole show, just as we have with boxing for instance, you will discover how some boxers get series of serious injuries allover their face, yet this are human being involved all because of making money, they engage in this fight entertainment match or game, how much more using animals, man will not definitely hesitate in doing that as long as it's a form of entertainment to them and money is involved.

There is a difference between the man fights ( boxing / Wrestling etc) and the animal fights. In human fights they wear all sort of gloves and helmets to prevent the major injuries while in animal fight, most of the time the animals are left to keep on fighting with each other till death.  Sad
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Unable to restore all the ETH addresses in my Meta Mask on: August 29, 2023, 02:38:32 PM
I recently imported a MetaMask wallet in my other computer and enter the seed phrases. However, I only see one of the accounts there on my new computer while on my old pc, i have more than one ETH account under the same meta mask wallet.

So why i do not see all of those ETH addresses in my new wallet? and how to restore them.

Aren't these addresses connected as they all have the same seed phrases  Huh

I think you do not have ETH balance in your other accounts, so you need to add those addresses manually.

You need to just add the accounts by clicking on "Add account" in the meta mask wallet.  Meta Mask wallet will by default add all your addresses in the same sequence as they were present in your old computer.

UPD. 13.01.2022 After a lot of effort and video verification all issues have been resolved ( I received my deposit)
You are very lucky that you get your fund back. Such a situation is really very sad. Since Moonbet is an honest casino, you get your fund back. All's well that ends well.

That case was already resolved in January this year and the good thing is that we haven't heard any such issues with moon bet on this thread.

The good thing is that anyone can try out their casino as there is no initial KYC requirement and all you need is a email to register.

76  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One Month of Accepting Bitcoin for Payment on: December 10, 2022, 07:24:28 AM
hello Bitcoiners, I'm happy today because today marked one month since I started accepting Bitcoin payments in my company. I decided to accept Bitcoin as a means of payment because it is fast and secure, unlike the frequent delays and errors with fiat and banks. Few of my customers were really impressed with the new development when I first started last month, but since then I have had more than 13 customers paying me with Bitcoin and stable coins (USDT). I feel more safe using Bitcoin in my business because it eases the stress of holding a lot more cash, there is no more SMS notification and charge from the bank for payment, and no one has to know about my bank balance by spying on my phone. There is no monthly charge of any kind for Bitcoin transactions, unlike with the banks.

Really happy to know that you have started accepting bitcoin as a payment method in your business. I will also call you lucky that you are doing this without any interference from government officials. Does this mean that bitcoin must be legal in your country as you are allowed to use it as a payment method?
If there is not a problem for you, will you tell us and share in which country you set up this bitcoin payment method?
77  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are the Whales Control bitcoin price? on: December 10, 2022, 06:32:18 AM
we all know no one can controls the bitcoin price because bitcoin isn't like bank, stock and valas. but if the whales owned 51% of bitcoin, can do it?. if happen, does decentralization not exist?

For sure, the whales will have money to buy bitcoin and anyone with money can buy the majority of the coins but it is different from fiat whales.
In the fiat system, the whales (the government themselves) can print as much money and keep on increasing their wealth while when it comes to the bitcoin whales they can't produce it, they need to buy bitcoin and hence its value is ever increasing.
78  Economy / Economics / Re: Use your money wisely. Invest or Deposit ? on: December 09, 2022, 10:14:36 AM
Now you have $100,000 in your account, pure savings, and you don't need this amount of money to cover your daily expenses. Obviously it's good/free money to use at will. Let's say if you deposit the money into a bank and the annual interst rate is 3%, you will get a steady interest income year by year. If you use this money to buy Bitcoin, let's say the BTC drops to $17,000, you'll buy less than 6 Bitcoins. In the long run, what would you do with this money ? And why ?

There are two things here that need to be done wisely. First investing wisely means that you need to invest in bitcoin and/or in good altcoins and also do the dollar cost average.
Second wise thing is to store your bitcoin and crypto in a safe place. If you store your investment in centralized wallets or exchanges, then you are carrying the risk with your investment which can go to zero if those platforms scam exits.
79  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins future is Bright on: December 09, 2022, 07:07:11 AM
I agree with OP. Whatever is happening with BTC now, it is only a temporary phenomenon. In any case, its key idea will live, expand and develop.

The dips, dumps and pumps are all just part of the volatility of Bitcoin, as long as Bitcoin has not been adopted fully yet. But as you said, it is only a temporary phenomenon which will resolve itself without doubt. It is not happening for the first time and not for the last time. This is engrained deeply in the very nature of Bitcoin itself. Thats why I hodl and trust Bitcoin. Cheesy

There are bear and bull markets since the start of bitcoin from 2009 and this in nothing new for bitcoin. What we need to learn is not to become extra excited seeing new all time highs and not to become extra fearful seeing bitcoin price dumping to 70 to 80% in each cycle.

The people who are in this crypto market for a few years know that overall the bitcoin future is bright however, there may be up and down phases along the way.
80  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The right mindset needed for all traders on: December 09, 2022, 06:43:54 AM
On this market, a disciplined trader will always prevail, and I'm sure they are confident in their abilities. Though a proper mindset should be learned by everyone, not just a trader, by everyone who is investing their hard-earned money, this is a terrific insight and piece of advice. Although patience is a virtue, you will still lose money if you lack discipline.
In trading I think we need not only discipline and patience but we need many things,
trading is very complex and that makes trading not that easy,
and regarding that mindset, it becomes an important part and maybe it can be said as the foundation

Trading is a full fledge time consuming work and not a part-time business. Most people think that trading is a part time work and then you can earn a lot of money by doing nothing, which is wrong. In order to place the trades, you need time to study the market and only then you will be able to make 70% winning trades.
