The Pakistan team is now in trouble again. They lost the fourth wicket for 168 runs. Babar Azam was out for 75 runs. On the other hand, Fawad Alam is now out of the field with injuries. There are two new batsmen now in the crease. It is difficult to say how long they will stay at the crease.
Pakistan team still in good position. The new two batsman hadn't made any mistake yesterday and build up a good partnership. They were like a set batsman in that condition. Although the day one has ended without full 3 session for the low light issue. And the game is delayed today for the rain. I think that Pakistani batting lineup will collapse again on day two. We might see a winner if nothing interrupts in the game on remaining days.

Due to the wet outfit, there is no possibility of playing today. Even if the game is played tomorrow, I think Pakistan will be able to survive for 2 sessions. More important than how many runs they can collect is how long they can survive at the crease. If they lose all their wickets in the first session, then West Indies will have a chance to win this match. And if Pakistan can play the next two sessions, then the match will be a draw.

So how is the weather today ? Can we expect some game today or wet outfield won't allow it ?

Also it was decided yesterday that the play will begin 30 mins earlier today. Who will have an edge in this match, it will be decided on how the both teams resumes after this interval of a day or more.

822  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: {Boxing} Manny Pacquiao vs Yordenis Ugas on: August 22, 2021, 09:06:23 AM
Great things need to end sometimes for other things will also rise after that. It was a great night and congrats to Ugas, he really beat the old man this time.

I agree,  this end the boxing chapter of Manny Pacquiao he is the only and will be the eight-division world champion almost an impossible feat, he will announce his intention to run as president and this is another chapter on Manny Pacquiao's career now as a full-time politician, I hope he will also do better and his countryman sees his potential as a great leader, we'll see if he can make it in his bid as a President.

No doubt Manny Pacquiao will still remain a popular personality in his country but i was shocked to see the result of the match. I thought that despite all the odds, Manny Pacquiao will win this match and i was quite confident on this.  Sad  I could see him defense the right way and never looked to dominate the match. I really feel sorry for him to have this defeat at the age of 42.
823  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are NFT games also another way to gamble your money? on: August 22, 2021, 08:43:12 AM
It's not too risky depending the game. If it's a well developed game which people also play for fun and because the game is good the risk is lower. But if the game is just like a common site where players click few times a day to collect daily income then the risk is much higher. It's like low and high risk bets. Between both options I think it's better to invest in the first category, because they tend to last longer and make more success on long run.
Most of NFT games are built for their user ecosystem and not for players risk their money. so yes nft are less risk than gambling . the concept is play to earn. and of course capital is needed to start because basically this is a financial investment in a gaming system. maybe there is an NFT that provides gambling features like that. but what is popular today in NFT games are offers more user play to earn.
You need to be careful because although they say the concept is play to earn, most of these *games* don't have any real gameplay. As I said, you just click in a common site few times a day to collect your daily income and that is a big red flag, since ponzi schemes can use this same concept: high earnings promises, poor developed site claiming to be a game, constant appeal to bring more players to the platform...
I think legit NFT games are actually a minority right now and even by investing on the legit ones you are risking your money, so it's a kind of gambling anyway.

NFT games can give you big return if you are able to choose between the good and the bad. Because of the recent trend of NFT games, there are many fake games in the market which are made to get money from you and have no future. You should not invest in these types of games and only look to invest in games which are legit and have good feedback from the players.
824  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Gamble as a newbie on: August 21, 2021, 01:49:01 PM
I am a day old in this forum and am understanding some ways in which one can get rewarded and one of such is gambling, but again, one needs to understand the risk involved.

What are your guides from your personal experience of gambling?

What do you mean by the risk involved in Gambling ? Gambling is 100% risky and there is no other thing in the world which is more risky than gambling. So if you are willing to earn money by gambling, think again. You will end up losing money.

Try to earn money from a better way and only then you can risk some of your earned profit in gambling.
825  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who where how much withdrew from no deposit on: August 21, 2021, 11:27:54 AM
Well, there are casinos that won't even allow you to withdraw a cent before you deposit. I had a similar bad experience at TrustDice earlier, when I was tipped by a chatter and managed to roll it nicely to a decent amount to withdraw. Once I tried to withdraw, I was told that you cannot withdraw unless you have at least deposit some money and rolled it over 1x minimum.

Casinos have their own rules/terms about withdrawal. I had similar experience long time ago with mbit casino. I received no deposit bonus, complete the wagering requirement but I could not withdraw the winning unless I made a deposit (forget how much is the minimum deposit) and wager it 1x. I decided to leave it away.

If the casino require you to deposit once, before withdraw there might be nothing wrong with that. Some casino have the policy that you deposit at least once, to confirm you are a human (or whatever reason). For such casino, you can deposit the minimum and see if everything goes as expected. Don't try to over deposit, so if anything goes wrong, yours minimal funds are at stake.
826  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to get girls when you're not handsome? on: August 21, 2021, 11:05:27 AM
I'm as ugly as a baboons ass but I never had problems finding the hottest babes  Kiss Cool

That's the boy on the top or the girl  Wink

The older woman get the less they care about a handsome man and more about a successful man. If you are independent, have a decent job, a decent car and a good apartment than it will be no problem to find a girlfriend. Just lower your standards a little, instead of going for the sexy 22 year old student, try to go for some older, more mature woman.

Well, the problem is that even though the older woman care more about the successful man, the Successful man is more interested in a younger girls as compare to an older one. So in short, no one can get a perfect match and those who do are really lucky ones.

Important information about the fight.

Paul vs. Woodley info
Date: Aug. 29 | Start time: 8 p.m. ET
Location: Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse -- Cleveland, Ohio
How to watch: Showtime PPV | Price: $59.99

I'm surprised with the PPV price, I don't know that it's this expensive, maybe higher than the Pacquiao vs Spence/Ugas PPV.

Any place where i can watch this fight free of cost ? If not, i would wait for the highlights to appears on the youtube rather than spending 60$ on this fight.
This is the showtimes fight page (https://www.sho.com/sports/fights) where you can register for the fight. I wonder if someone will broadcast it live on the youtube from here ?

Still its more than a week for this fight but i will bet on Jake Paul for my personal likings.
828  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Forum Skills on: August 21, 2021, 10:03:59 AM
For the few months I have been in this forum, I discovered without being told that one really need some digital skills to remain effective and relevant here on the long run. Though, only the knowledge of cryptocurrencies is enough. But someone like me, I am not well knowledgeable about cryptocurrencies, which I know this forum will educate me and has been doing.

When I looked at the service thread, I saw people offering different services of avatar design, signature design, software design etc.

Apart from that, I saw CryptopreneurBrainboss and others managing campaigns and also have own services. I saw DdmrDdmr, LoyceV, Ratimov, Fillippone and others always posting data like number of merits earned, newbies first post, most merit awards, they talk about whitepaper and lots more. I keep wondering how they generate these information. I often wish to join the discussions, but they appear high technical to me . I like being successful in anything I do. Yes, I know success needs commitment and perseverance. Even the aforementioned names have been here for years, hence there enviable knowledge.

Please, is it to early/late for me to start somewhere? I am not that comfortable with only posting and contributing texually here. I need to solve technical problems.
Please, what are the basic steps I will take, what are the basic skills I need now that are not that financial intensive. Because I am still under the trauma and/or defeat of fraud/scam before I joined this forum.

I really need to be a positive energy in this forum in the future. I therefore have to create this thread to get started. I have enough time, apart from being here I don't have things that will take my time offline.

Thank you all.

You don't need to be a  programmer (to provide statistical data ) or a Managerial skills person to become a Bounty manager in order to remain active and contribute to the forum. Even if you can guide the newbies and help the community you can still survive on this forum and the forum will recognize your efforts.
Of course if you have skills you can contribute in a better way but in any case, don't consider yourself left behind of others. Every person is important here including you and me.  Smiley
829  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PolyNetwork Hacked, $600 million Lost on: August 21, 2021, 09:49:34 AM
I wonder why the hacker returned everything without even taking any reward for his efforts. Maybe he was affraid of his safety and thought they can track him somehow, when he decides to withdraw the prize.

Do you mean that the hackers returned all those hacked funds back to the PolyNetwork team ? That's strange !!!

I didn't knew about this. Can you please share link to official news about this  ?

You can read more about this news here. According to the officials, 600$ million were stolen and all of the funds were returned back expect 33 Million tether. The more problem here is that the funds which are send back to the team, cannot be withdrawn as password from both Polynetwork and the hackers are required to access it. I don't know how this will be solved without compensating the hackers too.

Nearly all of the $600 million stolen in a huge crypto heist has been returned — but there’s a catch
830  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: August 21, 2021, 09:13:56 AM
End of Day-1, Pakistan is able to collect 214 by losing 4. A great day for Pakistan. Because they lost 3 wickets in the first 3 overs of the match. And at the end of the day, after 74 overs, they lost 4 wickets and collected 214. Good enough collection. If Pakistan can play well in the first session of the next day, they will undoubtedly be able to collect more than 350.

Good performance from Pakistan, but they lost Babar Azam before he could get to a century. They are essentially five down, and I don't think that Fawad Alam will be able to bat. It is disappointing, because Azam and Alam rebuilt the innings, from a precarious state of 2/3. The top three batsmen (Abid Ali, Azhar Ali and Imran Butt) made a combined total of two runs, as Kemar Roach and Jayden Seales steamrolled the Pakistani top order. But the recovery made by Alam and Azam was astounding.

Pakistan is an unpredictable team and it is too early to come into conclusion that they will be able to score 300 odd runs. They have already lost the top fous batsmen and those two who are on the pitch shoul stick their till the end of day 2. West Indies should concentrate on getting early wickets in day 2 to stop Pakistan.

Yeah, Pakistan is totally an unpredictable team. With the exception of Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan, there is no continuity in the performance of any batsman. And the team can't rely on anyone but these two batsmen. Other players are seasonal performers. If luck is good they are able to run. Nevertheless, Pakistan's current position is stable. Looks like they'll collect more than 300.

And how about the West Indies team ? Do you think they are any better team than the Pakistan team ?
Seems like both team are of same nature and both needs to improve a lot on their batting ? In last test match, West Indies only won by 1 wicket and this does not stand them ahead of the opponent. There has to be a winner when you play a 5 days match with low scoring on each side.
831  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: {Boxing} Manny Pacquiao vs Yordenis Ugas on: August 21, 2021, 09:00:25 AM
Do you guys think that Pacquiao has aged? it seems to me the same Pacquiao years ago, although I would say that the body is not that 'hard', but maybe of the effects of the light in the studio.
Same, his face doesn't change even he's already 42 years old but still young like 30. His power, skills, stamina and speed doesn't change at all, he's proving a 42 years old can still become a professional boxer.

Manny Pacquiao has many advantages of his small body to move more quick, strong and very fast. He's very senior in boxing, with his experience he already know various boxing style of their opponent.

However I watch a video said Ugas left bicep injured, it's true or fake? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F9Fxhu39LoU

Manny Pacquiao doesn't seem aged but he do look mature. His skills and power may look like a 30 years old boxer but certainly his appearance look a bit matured and experienced.

832  Other / Off-topic / Re: Love and money on: August 21, 2021, 08:32:56 AM
Love and Money though are two different aspects but are very much related to each other. Some find love in money, while some are having no value for it.

In today's materialist world this hold true, so it is important to value those who are with you not due to money but because of you as an individual. And if you think that girlfriend/boyfriend or your fiance etc are gold-digger and just like you because of money so its your onus to move on and find the one who loves you and not money.

In today's modern world, Love and Money both are important, rather in some cases money is more important than the Love itself. Your Love can leave you if you do not have money but at the same time you can get many lovers because you have a lot of money with you.
For all those youngsters, i would suggest them to focus on their work and get financially well, so that they will never regrets in life.
833  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin Bullish At The Moment on: August 21, 2021, 08:19:30 AM
As bitcoin price rise to  $42,954, which shows a bullish momentum as the market has hard a long time of correctional stage before breaking the $42k bench mark, just like I analysed last week am predicting a $45k bitcoin before the end of this week.

What are your takes on this?

If I analyze bitcoin, the current development is quite good and promising, although last month it decreased slightly, but now bitcoin has returned to normal and could make a surprise at the end of the year.

For this month bitcoin will not give a big surprise, if you look at the current market conditions, even many investors have started playing the 2018 scenario, this will affect bitcoin according to my analysis, but by the end of the year I believe bitcoin will reach $45k.

Some events happen from the last couple of days really help bitcoin to retain at the current level and many people are now going back to bitcoins that's why we see the dominance is increasing. Also this month? although we don't see any big surprises but as long as the price at almost $47k then provably we are going at the best figure of it on next month. And since we are at almost $47k then provably the near prediction to come for last quarter of this year is $50k and maybe even more.

Bitcoin is trying to break the 50K resistance level and once this resistance is broken, bitcoin may reach 54K level. The bitcoin dominance will increase, the the altcoins will crash once this happens. Probably we are very near the time when we will see another All time high and all those bears who thought that bitcoin bull run is over, will be proved wrong.

Anyway, Bitvest is still a very generous campaign, compared to others gambling signature campaigns.

How do you figure that? What other gmbling campaigns have you compared it to? By my calculations, 777Coin and Bitvest are the two worst campaigns in the industry right now.

Because Bitvest and 777 has been running since 2018. Just in two last years both campaigns has distributed around 40 BTC in rewards for example. Show me any other campaign that was running for that long period and distributed that much.

I understand why you call them worst - because you were only in Tier E with lowest rewards. Improve, advance and receive more. Also, no one forced you to join anyway...

- Nope. I called them the worst paid campaign (at the moment) because that is a fact. However, I understand your subjectivism comes from your spreadsheet position.

You're not part of the campaign so it should not concern you much if the rates are further reduced.

No matter, where we are placed in the sheet and the rank, the decrease in rates per posts always bring a sad feeling but yet no one is forced to stay in the campaign. If anyone think there are other better paying campaigns, so better apply there instead of complaining here.

For some, the pay is not the only thing. You get associated with some brand , you get in love with the manager, you like the freedom of posting and lot of many things which also matters a lot.

Indian batting doesn't need to collapse, we have full 2 days which means even if India manage to score 250 tomorrow, England can easily chase it on day 5 and don't expect rain in England when result is not in favour of India.  Grin
If there is no rain interruption and then the Indian batsman is able to play a long inning and if that happens then this match is going to be another draw as India will not declare without putting a challenging total on the board which means over 300 runs. With this pitch i am not expecting the bowlers to dominate unless the batsman play silly shots and starts a parade back to the pavilion.

Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane needs to perform as they failed to make any meaningful contribution for a long time.

This match will result in a draw now. Both teams have full batting to play and we have only two days left in the game. Joe Root 180 runs was the game saving innings else England would have been trailing by 150 runs approx.

The first test between these two countries was a draw and this match is also heading towards no result.
837  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PolyNetwork Hacked, $600 million Lost on: August 15, 2021, 10:16:47 AM
If I'm not mistaken the KuCoin Exchange was also hacked with a fantastic value. At least $150 million Ethereum tokens from the exchange have been lost from exchange wallets, and millions of dollars from other blockchains have been lost. This includes $13 million from Tether based on the then-current EOS blockchain.

When did this Kucoin hacked happened ? Did it happened recently or were you referring to any past incident ? I always have the feeling that exchanges are most of the time involved in insiders job.

However, I believe from the number of incidents mentioned above, increasing maximum security both from inside and outside is very necessary so that similar cases do not happen again and the space for hackers can be narrowed.

When more hacks are reported, people will lose the confidence in digital currency. Anyways the only thing we can do is to keep funds out of exchange.
838  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk Youtube channel - what would you like to see? on: August 15, 2021, 08:32:49 AM
One thing that I'd really want to watch is forum-legends' interviews. Yes, I know the thread, but a one-hour long video where the Admins of this place talk about their experiences would make me want to not miss a sec. Saying this just to feel more familiar with our Admins, because it seems they didn't want to be interviewed. (Although Greg did)

That's my feedback.

So you mean that all those admins and famous personalities on bitcointalk will agree to come up face to face for a interview on bitcointalk youtube channel ?
I think most of the people won't agree to this because people here are more concern about their KYC and not revealing their identity.
839  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PolyNetwork Hacked, $600 million Lost on: August 15, 2021, 08:19:57 AM
Today I read the news of the most shocking events at https://www.reuters.com/technology/defi-platform-poly-network-reports-hacking-loses-estimated-600-million-2021-08-11/ namely news about The biggest hack in the history of the crypto industry.
A cryptocurrency platform has lost about $600 million in digital tokens after one of the biggest hacking attacks in the sector, according to details of the theft that emerged on Wednesday.
Why this event can happen so as to create space for hackers, it's really unfortunate

What's more bad about this hack was that PolyNetwork team stand clueless on what can be done to recover the people funds. As per the team, the network is hacked and funds are lost and they could not do anything to compensate their investors. That's the sad reality that in this unregulated market, no one can take responsibility of your loss.
840  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Altcoin Safe for Investment on: August 15, 2021, 08:00:30 AM
I think you can buy an existing altcoin project if you are a little doubtful of a new project coming out, and also research the project in the long term from the price movement and development of the project, I'm sure you will find the right one out of the many altcoins.
You are right. Also one can invest in IEO of a famous exchange where listing will be confirmed.  Having 3rd party involved here will keep your investment safe and the team will not get a chance to scam you.

Investing in IEO of a famous exchange is the safest investment however, due to a lot of entries and competitions, you will only get very little amount of those IEO tokens.
I remember, that i participated in last binance IEO and only got 40$ worth of the tokens although i stake too many bnb  Sad
