981  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto gambling is the worst piece of shit you can imagine on: June 19, 2021, 06:38:45 AM
This shouldn't be a problem to your case; then don't use crypto for gambling then, it is a simple solution!

People who gamble using cryptocurrencies are aware of the fees when withdrawing their winnings. Unfortunately, with the rise of its value in the market, the fees also have increased resulting to high withdrawal fees to compensate the miners. If this bothers you so much, then avoid gambling using BTC. This is one of the consequences and most people are aware of it.
That's what should be the solution to using altcoins when bitcoin usage is too torturous in terms of fees, I personally have no problem using crypto. But looking at the OP's case I think it might be a big problem in itself so put it that way in the title of this thread and basically if the issue is just about cost we realize there are plenty of other options to keep costs down. But if that still makes him uncomfortable, I think it would be best to get out of this crypto gambling circle immediately and it's very easy to do.

It seems that the opening post doesn't really understand crypto gambling, because everyone who is used to playing crypto gambling must
have understood how to overcome the fairly high transaction fees. Because it is related to transaction fees, we can use altcoins which have
cheaper transaction fees. So don't overreact to transaction fee problems, everything has a solution. But if the opening post really views crypto
gambling negatively and is not comfortable playing crypto gambling, OP really shouldn't need to play crypto gambling. Because there is
no compulsion to play crypto gambling.

Secondly transaction fee is only detected when we withdraw money out of the gambling site. Most of the gamblers including myself keep the money inside the site and play gambling. As long as you do not need the money to spend, its better to keep the coins within the site and avoid tx fee.

Most probably some maintenance. It has happened before, close to a year back IIRC.

If this is the planned maintenance, then it should have been intimated by the freebitco on their site or here, so that people don't get panic or ask unnecessary queries.
983  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to 13k. FORECAST on: June 19, 2021, 05:31:24 AM
No stops as I have no time to make necessary analysis

Target 12400
Current price 33000
Optil 4 months,

Previous forecasts

I did not see your previous analysis but when you say bitcoin to 12,400$, you should write a proper analysis to this and / or technical analysis supporting this. Bitcoin will not go below previous all time high (19,800$). If this happens, it will be very bad for the bitcoin and also for the holders.
984  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 19, 2021, 05:21:32 AM
I am sure we are not in altseason now but this chart show we are still in altseason. It means Alt would dump more if bitcoin corrects more.
No matter what, its better to stay in bitcoin for 80% of the time.

I am a newbie
I did make a mistake
I learned that I have to use an intermediary to be safe from scams
Thank you all
Special thanks to bL4nkcode
Thank you very much!

The only good outcome from this incident is that you got the learning and in future you won't get scammed easily by anyone.

Also you didn't lose much money so that is also another positive thing otherwise i have seen people lost thousand of dollars over such scams.
986  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don't know what to think on: June 17, 2021, 08:53:49 AM
What do you mean a bearish move is not likely to happen? I personally think the Bitcoin market is already bearish right now, that is, if we are considering how high the price of Bitcoin has already reached in the recent weeks. We are hardly leaving $40,000 now. We could only surpass it quickly and then the price would once again settle at a price below. But the year 2021 is still considered a bullish year. I am still looking forward to a new ATH in the second half of the year.

Yes, it is looking very hard for the bitcoin to cross the 40,000$ level. Although some positive tweets from Elon Musk did push the price up for the bitcoin, but still it failed to stay above 40,000$ for long time duration. I am still hopeful that bitcoin price will rise but it may take more time than our expectations.
987  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: There's no lottery ticket in Bitcoin, it's a savings account on: June 17, 2021, 04:33:47 AM
Don't buy now with your money and put it all into it to get rich.

Put a little each month, no matter the price. You would want that for your children and grandchildren.

DCA is the solution for not being able to get swindled when China bans bitcoins again.

No matter how long it takes, it will pay off. You won't lose your home or have to move back into your parents' house

Yes, if anyone thinks that he will become rich right after investing in bitcoin and crypto, then he is totally wrong. Bitcoin is not a quick rick scheme. If anyone want to become rich over night, he can try luck in gambling. Bitcoin and crypto can give you good return but for that we need to show patience.
988  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: June 17, 2021, 01:42:56 AM
Cricketers now also entering in the NFT world.  Smiley  That's a good use case for NFTs.

Wasim Akram to auction exclusive NFTs from 1992 World Cup

So the money he will get from selling his NFT will belong to him and the board will have no share in it ?
This is just like players auctioning their bats or bowl with their signature on it. NFT is the new way of earning money for these players.
989  Other / Meta / Re: Lightning Network subforum proposal. on: June 17, 2021, 01:26:31 AM
I think this applies:
Quote from: mrpep in 2019
Unless a subset of possible board topics is dominating the front page (+50% of topics on the front page belong to said subset), it's highly unlikely that it'll have a sub-section created for it.

When was the last time theymos introduced a new sub board in the forum ? I think its very unlikely to get a sub board for "Lightning Network".
Although i think it will be more convenient if we have a sub board for this so those who need only LN information don't need to browse through rest of the information.
990  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: June 14, 2021, 04:05:54 PM
The spectator is the lifeblood of the game. When there are spectators on the field, the players get more excited and try to play better. Due to covid, all kinds of games have become a bit slow. The spectators cannot go to the field. The matches of PSL and IPL are not as lively as before.

In case you want spectators, then the tournament needs to be shifted to some country where spectators are allowed (I am talking about countries such as England). The UAE government doesn't allow spectators in stadiums and there is nothing that the PCB or the BCCI (or for that matter the ICC) can do about it. In England the Vitality Blast T20 tournament is going on, and I can see thousands of fans in the stands. And some of the British counties had offered to host the IPL in England, which was turned down by the BCCI.

Probably the authorities of PSL and IPL are more interested to complete the remaining of the tournament and they can sacrifice the income which may come from the spectators. The deal is good because people can watch and enjoy the remaining tournament on the TV and it does not make much of the difference. We are now used to it . Aren't we ?
991  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Adobe Creative Cloud All Apps Keys 1 Year Bulk (14 pcs) on: June 11, 2021, 05:44:20 PM
He is a scammer, I gave him $100 to purchase the product and received nothing. I have telegram chat logs as evidence
Don't trust him

You should have used the escrow and should not have sent the money in advance.
Its very easy for people to cheat while dealing with digital products.  Sad
992  Economy / Services / Re: Find a middleman to help on: June 11, 2021, 05:33:43 PM
I was contacted with OP but before that he already sent the partial payment to the seller and want to continue with escrow but sadly and as expected, the seller never responded and totally run away with the funds.

So in that case, reksal36 should be negative tagged and his thread Adobe Creative Cloud All Apps Keys 1 Year Bulk (14 pcs) should be reported so that other people are saved from his scam.  Sad
993  Other / Politics & Society / Re: why revolutions and movements fail at their desired outcome on: June 06, 2021, 09:22:34 AM
Your original post was about getting change locally by paper aggrement but such kind of change isn't given on paper but struggle. All society that have been divided didn't do that solely without struggle. At most the struggle can lead into aggrement but to relax and wait for paper agreement, change won't be achieved.

local placards and peaceful protest are the 'relax and wait for' strategy
because placards and peaceful protests are not actually binding politicians to any agreement.

no signature no pledge no commitments occur due to placards/peaceful protests.

but actually being smarter and more organised(strategic plan) work better then organised(membership of community coffee morning group)

No , hardly will government in third world countries listen to placards or your own perception of change as you observe it in your environment. Depending on the kind of change you talk about but change of a structure where political phychopaths feed from is hardly relinquished by mere paper work.

There is monopoly everywhere and don't think that every revolution is meant for the betterment of the people. Sometimes the revolutions are started by the government themselves to buy in the time and keep the public thinking that best times are nearby.

995  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don't you think Bitcoin will die over the summer? on: June 06, 2021, 04:50:45 AM
Recently, the price of bitcoin has dropped by almost 1/3.  The beginning of May is 58 thousand, now it is already 38 thousand. The chart is steadily falling down.  Will Bitcoin die in the summer? Cheesy
DIE? are you frustrated now? or have you sold bitcoins when panic sell occurred at $30k?
yes very unfortunate if it happened to you? remember mate! Bitcoin will never die this summer or years to come!

Many people thinks that when the bitcoin price is dumping, it will dump to zero and it will be all over for the bitcoin. Those people are new and/or they hate bitcoin and want to spread the fud. Bitcoin will never die but it will always increase over the years.
996  Other / Meta / Re: BTC Clock - Block Time tracing in each Post (additional too Date and Time) on: June 06, 2021, 04:23:49 AM
Not all discussions on the forum are about Bitcoin.

And also not all bitcoin discussions are relevant to the blocktime. In most cases the Bitcoin Block is just irrelevant. Only at the time of halving (which comes after every four years), we are interested in bitcoin blocks but for the rest of the time no one cares about it.
997  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.10.0 on: June 06, 2021, 03:59:52 AM

No rumour this time. Coinbase announced it on their blog.
Dogecoin (DOGE) is launching on Coinbase Pro. News was out, time to sell your Dogecoin if you bought its dip weeks ago.

I bought a few doge when it was near 50 cents, so i can't sell now as the price fail to reach half a dollar even though we had a coinbase listing news.
However, all those who are still in a loss in dogecoin should hold as i think soon Elon Musk will tweet something positive about it.
I also hope that there will be a new statement from Elon so that the price can strengthen again or even reach 1$
until now I'm still holding it waiting for profit for the umpteenth time after a price dump a few months ago

I have realized that it not worth holding Doge, because if Elon musk doesn't tweet there is no way this coin can increase in price. I am waiting for the one more tweet from Elon so i can sell my dogecoin holdings in profit. I may not wait for Doge to reach 1 dollar or more.

999  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Statue in Hungary on: June 05, 2021, 06:48:07 PM
Hungary will be the first country in the world with Satoshi Nakamoto life-size bronze statue built in Budapest city 3rd disctrict, Graphisoft Park.

That would be an historic one. I wonder if it could become more popular than the statue of liberty  Wink
On searching, i found The 15 Tallest Statues in the World.
This Satoshi Statue in Hungary would be the sixteen one.
1000  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Who can stop Bounty Campaign Scam? on: June 05, 2021, 06:07:25 PM
Currently the bounty forum is filled with scammer. Currently many new bounties have coming. Be it real or scam project.
The participants in the bounty are working hard day after day. But the bounty participants are not getting any profit / money. If it is a real project, the team of the project is not keeping their promise. They make various excuses to pay the salarmuirmirmiejry. And they find ways to escape. No action was taken against them later.
If it continues like this, everyone will lose confidence in Bounty.
In this situation, the bounty managers have some influence.
Does anyone have any such solution? Through which it will be possible to prevent scammer.
I have noticed no one can stop a scam bounty campaign...

Tens of new bounties appear every month, even though the team is really real, it doesn't guarantee that they will pay, even many campaign managers are deceived by projects that use their services. do not expect more and depend your life on the current bounty campaign, just do what you can do.

Even if the bounty pay the promised tokens, may times those tokens never list on exchanges or their listing get too much delay. Sometimes even after listing, the project fails and no one is interest to but those coins. If the team tires to list it on decentralized exchanges, they may face liquidity issues if they do not have big community. There are a lot of factors which together contribute in failure of bounty.
