There is a suggestion by many that the WTC finals should be played in a three Test match format and hopefully we will see that in the future.
How can a final consist of 3 matches? And in case of test tournament, that would mean that the final will be played out over a duration of one and half months. It will be just like any other bilateral series and there won't be any excitement. It doesn't make any sense. Let it be limited to one match. If not, there will be new requests to change the format of the ODI World Cup final as well. I would suggest adding one reserve day for the test championship final. But having a three match final is not a good option, IMO. I totally agree with @Vishnu.Reang. If the WTC final is played in a 3 match format then it will not feel like a final match. The audience will not feel any excitement. It will seem like a general test series held between the two countries. So without formatting 3 matches, it is enough to have a match final. The only purpose to divide the final in best of 3 is to find the absolute winner. A team may win by luck in a single match but usually the best team comes out as a winner in the best of three format. However, this should be done for the one days and T20 where element of luck is more. In a test match, usually the best team comes out as a winner. |

In that case, its better if BCCI should shift this tournament to UAE permanently if they are so keen to save the taxes.  I don't think that the Indian government will be in favor of this. The direct tax itself amounts to 43% to 46% (₹900 crore) and on top of that there is all sort of indirect revenue for the government (such as income tax from the players and GST on tickets). Also, there are other plus points such as job creation and tourist arrivals. The government will react very negatively of the BCCI try to avoid taxes on a regular basis. And it was partly due to the pressure from the government that they actually decided to stage the IPL 2021 in India. I also don't understand this logic of tax saving. BCCI earns a lot and there should be no harm paying the taxes which will indirectly help in the reforms of their own country. Seems like a childish thing for any cricketing board which is as rich as Indian board, to think about the tax savings.  |

Jofra is out as well along with Stokes, still English team looks okay but its not their best team. This test series seems practice series to me. England trying their bench strength for the Ashes and match practice to Kiwis for the WTC finals, should be fun anyway.
I would not be fun watch the WTC final without all these big players. This final is a big event and England should be serious in competing it. They can't rest the players only because they think Ashes is more important to them. At the moment, NZ will be very happy and confident to win the title. |

For a fact, you've been active and as such a little trip through your profile to see what's your post quality like and i can say its relatively low and very much on the average and coupled with the fact that, this account has been in existence since 2017 and yet, your only just beginning to start your journey in bitcoin investments, your journey in crypto must have been really rough. Naturally I would have thought its been all about bounty hunting for you @OP but that doesn't seem to be the case, but only seem to pick it up just more recently and i'm not sure it would do you a thing of good to go down that road.

Bitcoin due to its speculative nature is greatly affected by news. Bitcoin has already gone down from 50k and now trading in between 30 to 40k. If Iran ban on bitcoin mining has some effect it would be visible by now but nothing has happened till now. So I too like others believe that it won't affect bitcoin in days to come.
This won't remain forever. Currently whales are holding majority of the bitcoin and they are able to manipulate the market with such news. Once the marketcap of bitcoin will reach near the gold and there are many more people holding bitcoin, the manipulation power for the whales will become lesser with time. |

Bitcoin bearish market just start, and it will take down entire cryptocurrencies market. Full recovery from here practically difficult to happen and I have doubt it will take few years to recover. Actually, no one knows, since their too much FUD spreader. As a positive thinker I expect sideways movement and won't take long.
Bearish market is yet not confirmed and there are still hopes that bitcoin will recover from this situation. However it may take a month or so. There is no need to spread the negativity and create panic amount the holders. Fundamentally, bitcoin is more stronger than before. Its just a matter of time until this whales manipulation is over. |

I am getting an interest boost of 2.5% and on the website it is displayed as 4.18% yearly interest and not 6.58%. As a percentage of my total balance it is only a 0.10% increase but as a percentage of the previous rate it is 2.5% higher.
For me the extra interest is not an important factor to consider when investing in FUN because unless you're a big whale who can deposit several BTC it will take more than a lifetime to earn back what you paid for these tokens from just the additional interest alone.
I believe that's not really that impossible but you are forgetting the fact that you also have fun token, which could be more valuable or not as well. So we are talking about something like buying a house, sure most of the time it would take maybe a decade for you to get back the house value from the rent profit you make each month, as a landlord you buy a house for 200k and rent it for 1000 and then you get it back after only 200 months. However the house is also now 500k after 200 months, you are forgetting that profit. Of course there are other benefits to holding FUN tokens but for me getting additional interest ranks at the bottom of everything else. Getting reward points and sats from the wheel was the deciding factor for me when I bought these tokens. Even if you hold fun token without taking into any other factor, you can be sure that Fun token price will increase over the time. Looks like the BCCI had other important priorities. I am not a big fan of the BCCI. They are too greedy and never bother about the players or the sport itself. The players are just treated as money making machines, without any sort of respect. And IPL remains the cash cow of the BCCI. An estimate in one of the leading newspapers estimated that the BCCI makes $1 billion every year from the IPL. If they spent 0.1% of that amount, this issue could have been resolved and the players would not be facing bankruptcy. BCCI always thinks about its own financial matters. Last year, just to make the IPL happen, they prevented the T20 World Cup from taking place. In the midst of such a horrible covid situation in India this year, they hosted the IPL. BCCI could have donated some money to the Government of India for this covid situation. We cannot blame BCCI for the current pandemic situation. When the IPL started, the condition of covid-19 was not so worse as it is now in India. Nobody anticipated that covid-19 third wave would be so deadly in this part of the world. No tournament can take place in this pandemic whether it be IPL or T20 World cup. Then who is to blame? COVID did not end when BCCI was releasing the IPL schedule. There were numerous times when the Indian medical association was informing the government that a second wave might hit soon. Neither did the government nor the BCCI were interested. They simply went ahead without any plans and the result is infront of everyone now. I don't know exactly who to blame. Cricket and all other sports were resuming at that time so why would India have stopped their IPL. In the neighboring country, PSL was also being held. Its just unfortunate that covid-19 hit all of us back, when we thought it should have disappeared. |
