61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Stake vs Fixed bounty allocation on: January 06, 2020, 04:32:03 PM
Stake rewards are utterly useless nowadays since many bounties don't live up to their ICO fixed values, in this area fixed allocation still have better chance, limited bounty hunters higher reward and everyone will be happy
I'd rather believe that everyone would be happy if bounty rewards would be in form of BTC or ETH or other top alts but for an another altcoins that doesnt have a sure value? I dont see for any reason to be happy
yet as usual when bounty rewards are given neither stake or fixed ones, if the value is still low then its still useless.Talking back generally on whats better if we disregard the value between staking and fixed?
Then i would go for fixed ones yet no matter how many the participants would be you do still have the fair share.

same here . id go for the fix ones but is it still called stake when you are waiting for your reward  ? example when you completed a week of work you have x amount of stake  .

meanwhile i also agree that bounty should be payed by btc , eth or other top cryptos because i will be more happy with that and it does not matter for me if the reward is fix or unfix but atleast we still have an assurance that our top cryptos will grow if we hodl them in the long run  .
Compared to the volatile price tokens, receiving the bounty reward in stable or low volatile altcoins will be a good idea. For bounty hunters, this option looks sweety but it is horror for the teams to pay the bounty allocation in BTC if they fail to achieve the soft cap. In stake based token reward, there is no such possibility, IMO.
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about IEO on IMO Wallet? on: January 05, 2020, 05:28:03 PM
With my recent experience i would say i dont trust this exchange, i have 147 worth lf usd0 , and got deleted yesterday,  Even i use it on buying imo 90% of the imo i bought will be locked, so its a no no for this imo exchange.
Very sad but you cannot utilize USD0 that's why you lost your assets and it’s your own responsibility. USD0 offering only for hunters it’s not tradable coin. IMO team announced a few weeks ago USD0 holders must be buy 4 presale coin within 31st December otherwise tokens will be burn which coins are IMO, XLA, MDNS, HCE you unable to buy it.
The very unprofessional decision by the IMO team, they shouldn't force the bounty hunters to buy this or that. The bounty rewards should be paid in their native token, sending the USD0 tokens which can be used for purchasing the tokens in token sales. The IMO team will be only winner in this game, they want to use the purchase demand of bounty hunters after distributing the bounty allocations.
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty hunters answers needed on: January 04, 2020, 03:54:44 PM
The best decision to keep in touch with the bounty manager in case of long-running bounty campaigns. If there was no warning by the bounty manager about the length of the campaign, the extended bounty campaigns becomes really irritating. Better to ask from the bounty manager for laving the campaign after calculated stakes.
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: is this gift right? Send 0.5 ETH = 1ETH on: January 01, 2020, 05:51:47 PM
I will try to explain one of the hidden tricks of the scammers who promote the "send 0.1 ETH and get 10x". The first step is to share the tweet, news, post as fast as possible on all social media sites. After attracting the attention of the possible victims, they share 10 different address on their posts/tweets, later the automated wallet bot sends/receive the small amount of ETH in every 2 minutes between the shared ETH address. I have analyzed this year ago and this is a very popular trap method by scammers.
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Useless projects! on: December 30, 2019, 04:46:32 PM
And most of these projects copies use cases from other projects, so pathetic we have no regulation to dictate bad projects and we have been victim many times.
The regulation will not solve the mentioned problems, the new industries cannot be predicted correctly. The new projects without the uniques idea occupy the crypto market and the major altcoins are created by the owners for taking the money out of the investors's pocket. In another case, it is not expected to see every project should have different ideas, maybe the same idea can be applied in other means.
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the difference? on: December 29, 2019, 05:30:33 PM
The blockchain is based on math and technology, there is no similar features of the recent traditional monetary system and elecetornic/digital cash. The math-based digital cash will be available for everyone but the USD based global economy is dangerous at this point. FED can print any amount of cash with pressing a single button but it wouldn't be possible in the blockchain-based digital cash. Just my 2 cents.
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Revain - blockchain-based review platform for crypto community on: December 29, 2019, 05:10:42 PM
I have tested your platform with a new account and the advantages of a blockchain-based review platform can be observed here. The companies will want to promote their project through the five-star reviews, the authors will also receive the reward based on the quality of the review.
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: xrp to 28$ on: December 29, 2019, 04:38:54 PM
There is no way to hit the $28 for XRP, the people come to create the new threads with crazy ideas on speculation boards. If there is no concrete argument why XRP should hit the prices over $20, asking the reasons is useless. It is like a direct logic: What will happen to B if A cross the X price. There is no correlation between the assets, forget about $28 XRP.

71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins or Utility Tokens? on: December 26, 2019, 11:50:52 AM
Personally I don't like tokens, there are alternative own blockchain coins waiting for the right time. The investors should decide they will use the utility tokens in their daily life or they want to invest in the security type of altcoins. The utility tokens are not widely used by the world population, the investors have desire to make money and convert their gains to fiat.
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will XRP repeat last 2017 bull run? on: December 25, 2019, 05:51:27 PM
There is no doubt that XRP might repeat what it did in 2017 but I don't think it will last longer since they are centralized and they can control the demand and supply I'm order to manipulate the price. Even during the peak they just dumped it after pumping it by multiple folds I was one of the investor into XRP due to FOMO. I am sure they can repeat it again and once users see the price of XRP increasing they will invest again.
Honestly, I don't see anything special about this coin than it TPS (scalability) and the centralized state of it which was the reason why some private company partnership with the Ripple company precise that the coin have no benefit to the crypto community and it investors barely profit from the system.

Yes, I think so, especially from sources that I have read, many prominent members of the world of Finance claim that XRP is not a digital currency. We can see the price of XRP like only using Hype I guess.
Ripple will never repeat its last bullrun and that's the fact. The ripple market gets dumped anytime. I can't even believe with those people are claiming if ripple has been creating something tha tuseful for the community. In term of TPS and VISA is much better than ripple and I don't wanna bet on it. the fact that ripple just another security coin.
The Visa is not a crypto-friendly payment gateway and the strong partnerships between Ripple and Moneygram will make the project more heather. The TPS is also high on Digibyte but the popularity of DGB is not as high as the XRP. The price speculations don't add anything valuable to the development of XRP but the traders rush to make as much as money like in the last bull market in 2017.
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Day Trading or Long-term Hodl? on: December 25, 2019, 05:25:51 PM
Whether to trade or hodl depends on the current market trend. Sometimes, hodling can be a blessing and it can as well be a doom if the market trend is not properly studied before decision is made.
Yes, holding is the best way to gain profit from your investment because holding saves our income and makes it more than double for us. Day trading is also good to make money but it needs knowledge as if you have good knowledge you can earn money from day trading as well. But I prefer long term trading or holding the most.
If there is compound interest, doubling the investment looks sweety. Except for the compound interest, believing in the HYPE projects that promise to double the deposit amount in a month can be dangerous game. The scammers look for the victims on social media and the wise scammers use the tricky methods for trapping the wealthy investors. Smart investors stay away from disreputable projects in all conditions.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who Says Bear Market is BAD? on: December 25, 2019, 03:31:37 PM
There are so many tips for surviving a bear market that I would laugh if someone would tell me that the bear market is bad. In the beginning I was scared about it also, but who isn't it? The ones who are able to survive the strongest storm are the ones who'll accomplish their purposes. The only thing that you all should remember is to not go against the storm - go with it, follow its path, let him open your way. Don't be scared of the bear market, transform it into an advantage.
Motivational lines don't work in the bear market, motivating the investors can be done through the bull market. The scary part is the bull market left the crypto markets since 2017, the next one can be in 5 days or in 5 years. The bear market has an opportunity, but the late bull market kills the profitability of the selected opportunities.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Future of bounty campaign. on: December 25, 2019, 12:44:10 PM
The future of bounty campaigns is a very painful problem to solve because there are now a lot of fraudulent projects proposed with sophisticated tricks. Keep track of the bitcointalk influencers they've been following and find out about those projects.
I agree the market is full of scam projects. Even the listed projects can disappear in a night, I have seen similar cases. The bounty campaigns don't have enough interest by bounty hunters because the market is in the bearish mood. Instead of wasting time with the bounty campaigns, I prefer to spend my time in market research.
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people still fall victim to obvious scam? on: December 24, 2019, 12:15:14 PM
because people want to produce without doing anything, it has become a natural phenomenon, where you only spend a little money to multiply it, let's say 1 person sends 100 $ if 100 people then it becomes 10000 $, they are interested in big profits.
Smart scammers also use other possible versions of scamming people. Instead of scamming 100 people for $100, they prefer to make a trap for the whales at $10000. Greedy investors also fall to this trap usually, some people simply have no analytical thinking. Stay away from the advertisements looks too good to be true.
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are the scam projects killing entire crypto space? on: December 24, 2019, 10:47:51 AM
From my point of view, scam projects have taken away the glory of genuine projects.
Due to too many scams around crypto space, investors are not confident on investing in new projects. It's Becoming very difficult day by day to find out the legitimacy of the projects.
This in turn affecting the projects and result of this is not raising the funds as expected and required for further development of projects. This is daviating projects from their roadmap which is resulting in too much delay or even failure.
Missing interest in investors is somehow obstacle to growth and further research of dApps projects.
I think, rugulations will solve the topic to great extent, but is there any other way to stop the scamming and not just going away from it?
Please apply your thoughts.

The biggest question is who will regulate it and how it's going to be regulated, remember IEO's are regulated by exchanges and they are being screened and they are paying a listing fee to prove that they are legit but the majority of the coins are not doing good in the market if we give one company to do this for us, how can we be sure that they are not going to accept bribe and connive with these projects.
I don't think bribery and corruption will be a problem on the governmental level regulative authorities, at least we will know the address in case of facing fraudulent projects. This alone doesn't prove the paid fee will protect the investment funds, everyone should accept the investment decisions based on the research, analyze.
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your preparation for 2020? on: December 24, 2019, 12:41:50 AM
For the next year, I plan to buy the undervalued altcoins if the bear market will stand for a long time. Markets also have patience but it is not limitless.

Taking into account huge number of scam projects on the cryptomarket, I think that it is better to open one cold wallet like Electron for your Bitcoins and MEW for Ethereum (also in cold mode). There are no reliable exchange to store Bitcoins or other coing for long time. Scammers from Poloniex prouved it in June 2019 stealing 1800 BTC from lending accounts.
The quick rich schemes don't let the investors think clearly about the new projects, they ask the same questions like "when moon?"... Some people are weak and they easily believe in the Ponzi schemes, pyramid, network projects with idea of making money with their "smarter choice".
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers are smart as well. on: December 23, 2019, 04:22:45 PM
Some of the fraudsters' behavior is a shame. You're already collecting a lot of money. At least evaluate the investment. Because the money they raise is enough to start a business.

Not all collapsed projects can be called scams. Some fail. However, some have no intention of advancing the project. They disappear quietly after IEO or ICO.
The exit scams are a famous method among the scam projects, the easiest way is to take the money with some acceptable excuse. The scammers are wiser than the majority of the investors, they know how to handle the main problems related to the project's future. Upon reaching their intention, they run away with other people's money.
