61  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Behavioral Change!!! on: December 08, 2023, 04:19:35 PM
All of us might be the same, the only difference is that others can control themselves properly like even when they feel angry they are still able to control it, not to the point where you will scold your kid because of just a few small mistakes. I am the same with you. Sometimes I lose a lot but this is rare because I rarely play but mostly I easily lose my temper after the game so what I do is that before talking to other people I let myself cool down first.

63  Economy / Gambling / Re: Guide for newcomers Start a fun and profitable gambling entertainment journey o on: December 07, 2023, 01:11:04 PM

By the virtue of being a responsible gambler, everyone is expected to gamble for fun, but while enjoying this, we can still partake the opportunity for other benefits with gambling which are added advantages, we should gamble because we are having passion for doing so and not because we are pushed into it as the last available alternative for us to earn and make money from, gambling is entertaining enough for us to have the best and maximum pleasure in it.
Gambling for fun is also once is my view but not until I finally understand specially with the help of other gamblers letting me realized what should be the treatment in gambling and this is to try your luck but of course to know your limitations.
meaning we should not just play for fun but also to win , though we must also understand the consequences and the risk, losing is what we mostly face here but luck sometimes will be our friend.

There is no fun without winning unless you have been gambling with your friends and you know even losing it is still a win because of the fun brought by them to you. But most of the fun comes from winning, but this is where you should be in control. You know the risk of it, so even if it is fun or even if you are losing, you are still able to control your emotions because if not, you'll be in a bad situation and worse, you'll be suffering for a long time, like paying debts. That should be your mindset if you don't want to go broke.
64  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will you do if your country did not legalize cryptocurrency? on: December 05, 2023, 05:24:32 PM
Fortunately my country legalized Bitcoin tho is not a legal tender, now if my country never legalize Bitcoin I would still find a way to use it, since I need a currency for international cash transfer, I would find some way around to use Bitcoin, but I would not invest in it, I will immediately exchange it to local fiat in here.

Most of us are very privileged to have been in a country that does not restrict the use of bitcoin, even though they are not supporting it use as a legal tender but it's still a valid and legal means of making exchange or payments, but if i fall under the type of those whose country banned the use of bitcoin, i will rather prefer relocation because for how long will i keep hiding that i would not get caught one day if they succeeded in tracking me down.

Only if you have the money to leave your place and go to another country. It is easy to say this if you are rich but with others like us having a hard time earning some money, we can't just easily transfer to another place, we only have a choice, either keep it secret or sell it and never hold Bitcoin. Right now people still choose to hold Bitcoin even though it is illegal. They are just more cautious not to get caught as the government cannot completely stop people from holding it. The only problem is that the adoption of it makes it difficult.

Question about this. Am I still qualified if my merit will be less than 5 on registration end date which is Dec. 31 2023.

Yes, you're just good. What counts is the date of the first post of this topic and the last 120 days preceding it.

Alright. Leaving mine now before I forget when busy holiday comes.

66  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I could have won bigger. on: December 04, 2023, 05:11:51 PM
Now I am angry at my friend because he didn't keep to his words. Although I am still happy about the win, I wish he had given me back the $10. Then, I would have win bigger money.

What if it goes the other way, like if you don't give him money and bet it, then you lose it? Would you be angry with yourself as you've just lost it and are not able to help your friend? Maybe you will win more because of that $10 but also it might go the other way. You should be more happy and thankful than angry with your friend because you've already won and you know that if someone borrows your money there is a huge chance that they won't repay it unless you keep asking them. Just think of it as a help to them as you'll be asking for help from him in the future.
67  Economy / Economics / Re: How to be more effective working remotely. on: December 03, 2023, 11:03:55 AM
I think some of us are also still working remotely.
And to anticipate distractions when we work, we can communicate with family members that when we are in front of a computer or laptop, we ask them not to disturb us.
Maybe sometimes they will come up to us and have a chat but try to let them know that we are working.
After we work for a few hours, try to take a break to unwind and regroup with them while chatting.
If working remotely, we need to talk to other family members so there won't be any misunderstanding between us.
That was what I was thinking as well. We can be working remotely fr home. but the challenges we normally face is that family members and children will always disturb us, because they think that you are just playing with your mobile phone not knowing you are working as well, but romotely. Sometimes when my family tries to make noise when am on system I usually let them know that am working.

It is best to have your own space and also always remind your family members when you have meetings or if you are distracted because we cannot prevent this kind of behavior as we are just working at home but if you are constantly reminding and telling them it will work. This happened to me in the past few years. They thought that I was just sitting all day and not stressed about it but they were wrong. That is why I keep telling them every time I want a quiet environment.

You must have received 5 merits between the last 120 days and just before this post.

Question about this. Am I still qualified if my merit will be less than 5 on registration end date which is Dec. 31 2023.
69  Economy / Economics / Re: New business idea. on: December 01, 2023, 05:09:20 PM
My first thought is if you ever put up that business do you already have a target buyer? The idea is good and I would say it is in demand but this depends on the region you are located in, because there are times that there are no big buyers there and you need to transport it to other regions like in my area where I haven't heard anyone buying near my place only in those capital cities, and it's very far unless so you'll need to transport it and it cost a lot
70  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Its A Gambling Joke But Reflects Bad Things About Gambling on: November 30, 2023, 05:00:32 PM
This kind of double meaning joke will sink deeper into the people's minds because if you are giving advice to them and are very serious about it they tend to not clearly understand it and they will forget it, unlike this kind of sarcasm which they tends to dig deeper meaning out of it. It is a joke but this is the darkest truth of gambling others may win, but mostly you lose. Gambling is a business and it is very rare to make a living from it.

I was winning and losing

But, honestly, it wasn't like 198% RTP for me. Definitely not. In fact, it was more like 60%.

Looks like I got lucky today on Boss Bear! I managed to trigger 3 Scatters giving me a huge amount of winnings. Didn't expect the spare money I have after paying the bills would buy my family some good food tomorrow.  Grin

72  Other / Archival / Wearing Bitcoin Clothing in Public on: November 29, 2023, 02:03:14 PM
Has anyone ever tried wearing a Bitcoin clothing in public? I wore mine to an event earlier this week and noticed that most of the young age people were looking at it. One person even asked me if I owned a Bitcoin(which I've answered him ). It just popped into my mind that is it making myself vulnerable to bad people? We are aware that we should keep quiet if we own Bitcoin because of the risk that someone will hurt us or target us so that they could get our Bitcoin.
73  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Connect v8 is deprecated - Need help with my Trezor T on: November 29, 2023, 04:45:06 AM
Hi guys. I hope someone could help me with this.

I have Ronin and Metamask wallet that is connected to my Trezor T. Recently, this kind of warning appear everytime I make transactions using the hardware wallet. I already reached out to metamask support to see if they have a solution but they just give me a ticket no. and said they will contact me soon. I already tried using different browser and update them to latest version but the warning is still there. I'm afraid I won't be able to access my stored assets once connect v8 is fully phased out.

Is there any way I can do to manually update to connect v9?

74  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should I still hold the investment or sell it? on: November 28, 2023, 01:47:28 PM
When the price of Bitcoin reached $38K I thought I would sell my investment but I didn't sell my investment yet hoping for something better. Thinking whether to sell the investment or not I thought I should share the matter in the forum and I will get the best solution from the forum that's why I am sharing the matter in the forum whether I should hold on to my investment or sell it now.
I don't need the money anyway, if I sell my investment now I have to deposit this money in the bank again.

You will experience this again when Bitcoin reaches around $50k. You will still want more, it will be the same feeling as you are not being contented. For now if you still don't need money then it is better to continue holding more and stop always checking it, as it will just tempt you to sell it. You just answered your question so try to refrain from checking it from time to time or it is better to forget it. If I were in your situation I would forget it because I don't need that money and probably sell it off after a few years or even a decade.
75  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What one change to Bitcoin can make it's adoption faster? on: November 27, 2023, 01:41:32 PM
The only key is the adoption of government. We all know that even if we criticize the government for their doings, if they still ban Bitcoin or do not allow its usage we will still follow no matter what, so if the government will not interfere or even announce to the citizens to use Bitcoin, for sure adoption of it is huge and the information that was fed in the media is good, not the same now that they will involve bitcoin in illegal activities that will lead to making the image of Bitcoin bad. Only the government can make this happen unless people are educated enough to see the value of Bitcoin like us.
76  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are your big plans for the Bitcoin halving coming up in a few months? on: November 26, 2023, 03:13:01 PM
I am consistently reassessing and reevaluating my investment strategy as the halving could have a significant impact on the price of Bitcoin and other altcoins. The halving could also lead to a surge in interest in altcoins. As such, I am on the lookout for alternative investment opportunities. And, of course, dollar-cost averaging (DCA) is a consistent investment I make. That's my plan, at least. What are your plans for the upcoming halving?
Same with others to accumulate as much as Bitcoin or any altcoin we like but prefer most the Bitcoin. Nothing unusual as I still use the same strategy that I've used before and continue to hold until it reaches my goal price. This would really be the plan of others too, to continue to accumulate Bitcoin and hold as much as they could to maximize profit. Though I am planning to buy some top altcoins but I will only do so when I have spare money to spend on after buying some Bitcoin.
77  Economy / Economics / Re: this makes a huge impact on the economy. on: November 25, 2023, 11:44:41 AM
I noticed majority of the people in my area tend to spend more money then usual when they get their salary, like buying things they don't really need.
I said majority of people because my dad owns a grocery store, I have noticed that most of the customers tend to buy more stuff on the 1st and 10th day of the month because on these days they get paid in my country.
I already seeing this pattern on news or business related youtube videos, but I didn't think it was a big deal.
Now I realized that its very important to consider this behavior of people when making business decisions because it can have a big impact on the sales or finances.
I am surprised by it because in my family we usually buy only things we really need, I am starting to understand how other people's spending habits can affect the business.

Do you also find yourself spending more on you payday?, or you approach your expenses differently?

Doing a grocery by the first week of the month after receiving the salary is a need and I am also doing it but the stuff that we buy should be not our wants instead only our needs like healthy foods. We do it mostly every month but this month we aren't able to do so because of financial difficulties and I realize that we spent too much on groceries even though I would say that it is our "need" as it is all food but when you check it we have bought lots of junk food so we should consider what we buy and only those we need and are healthy.
78  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can loneliness make one addicted to gambling on: November 24, 2023, 12:32:40 PM
It would be a trigger too because of the fun that the person is having. This is like when you are lonely and  let's say broken you'll have a higher chance to drink alcoholic beverages to forget them as well as gamble as it was fun and eventually you won't notice that you'll get addicted to it. For sure that person wants to forget his problem which is why he gambles to have fun, that is why he plays daily so that he can't think of his problem and that would cost him a lot for sure his health and money.
79  Economy / Gambling / Re: COINS.GAME | THE MOST REWARDING CRYPTO CASINO | SPORTSBOOK & CASINO on: November 23, 2023, 01:38:34 PM
Do you guys want crash contest to be back or something similar on all the slots?

Slots give more fun since there are many games to play and the multiplier is unpredictable in every spin unlike crash as we usually set a fixed target.
I dont mind with crash though but if you can change to slots contest, it will be more interesting.
But if the main purpose is to give more exposure to the original games, maybe you can try it with the other original games.

Or is it best to run a poll on it to know what the majority wants or do both? not all want slots as they are not fun of just spinning and not all also want crash games, and we know that the owner wants to earn profit from it so for sure he will follow the majority of the people. It would be good if they could try something like a crash contest this week or month then next there are slots to see what people want or have joined most but it is also best to know their thoughts on it by gathering suggestions or feedback.
80  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I want to fulfill my mother's dream of building a house with Bitcoin. on: November 21, 2023, 01:00:14 PM
As ridiculous as it may sound, the truth is that I want to fulfill a dream of building a house with Bitcoin.
My parents took care of me from childhood and they taught me education and they are still trying to teach me education. Father is very old and it is not possible for him to work as he used to, so I myself feel that I should do something. At the moment, if I could somehow earn to help my family or pay for my education, then maybe the pressure on my father would be reduced a lot. I joined Bitcoin to fulfill my dream.

My mother has a dream to build a house, maybe in the future I will have to help her fulfill her dream because my father is spending the money he earns on my education and running the family so at the moment he cannot afford to build a house. I have already gained enough knowledge about trading by being involved with Bitcoin, firstly I want to start my Bitcoin journey through trading, after making some money from trading I plan to invest in Bitcoin for four years. These four years I will hold my investment and also save the money earned from trading or signature campaign for four years so that after four years I can start building the house.

You must pray for me so that I can fulfill my mother's dream.
Seriously am I the only one that sees through this whole story?Huh Everyone has the vision to make their parents proud but I believe you should focus on building yourself and making a path way for yourself. Your parent have done their part in life and training you was their responsibility even though children are saddled with the liability of taking care of them at old age. Finally this looks like a weak way of fishing merits I believe you can do better with your post that's if you do proper research and post on things that are more relevant. For newbies like me this is a very weak move.

That is a dream goal and along the way you'll need to achieve those small wins like investing in bitcoin or trading which is part of making his dream come true. Parents are always happy no matter if you can give them a house or not as long as you are still showing your love to them by visiting them giving them food or presents meaning you remember them and it is just a plus if you built them a house. It is not your responsibility to do it, if you can't achieve it then provide them with yourself and not the materialistic one that you cannot afford.
