And now coinbase pulled the same shit, so I've changed payment processor again, to AsMoney.

Good news is, that this means that I can now accept a bunch of altcoins as well, specifically litecoin, darkcoin, dogecoin and peercoin.

1800mW and 2800mW lasers back in stock

So Bitpay just hit me with some compliance ID demands that is impossible to submit. I may not be able to receive bitcoin at all right now, as they appear to have lowered my daily approved volume to an amount lower than almost all items in my store cost.. I will fix this asap, but if anyone wanted to buy something right now and the payment doesn't work, hit me up on PM and I can give you vanilla custom bitcoin address for payment.

Changed to coinbase to fix the problem
Dont use any of these crappy payment providers. You only need a free BTC wallet, that's all.

It's not that simple, I need something that integrates with opencart and works automatically without me having to manually create and verify invoices. Also I'm not good at security, so it can't involve a wallet hosted on any of my own servers, that makes me vulnerable to hacking.

are the pool stats still in maintenance???

Looks like it. Blockchain.info shows three blocks found by eligius since the last one that shows up on the site itself: https://blockchain.info/blocks/Eligius

Undecided
65  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitpay just lost me as a customer after two years on: March 07, 2015, 09:16:36 AM

True, but aren't you using Bitpay to convert to local fiat?

No, I am not. I withdraw the settlement in bitcoin. I need a payment processor for security and convenience purposes.
66  Economy / Service Discussion / Bitpay just lost me as a customer after two years on: March 06, 2015, 06:23:18 PM
So I am a bit sad but mostly disappointed and annoyed right now. A few days ago Bitpay changed their compliance scheme, they lowered my volume limits to something far too low for my store, and required a bunch of paperwork to bump it back up that I do not have. Mostly documentation regarding registered businesses, but I am not a registered business. It is legal for me to operate my store at this scale in my country, as it qualifies as a hobby rather than pure business, something the tax office have confirmed. But Bitpay denied my application even after me explaining this, so I am forced to change payment processor.

This is not what bitcoin is about. Bitcoin is supposed to enable people, not limit them even more than traditional payment systems. I have used Paypal for a long time and even though my volume there is higher than Bitpay's was, they never demanded such documentation. It's frankly complete bullshit.

Eligius is a bitcoin mining pool, but it supports namecoin merged mining (mining at the same time as bitcoin)

Are you sure these are legal in all countries?

I can't possibly keep track of the laws of all countries. I try my best to make them legal to import by keeping the lasers semi-disassembled and treating them as electronic parts rather than laser pointers. Out of hundreds of orders, less than 1% have been stopped by customs, and only in only country, Australia.

But even if they are illegal, if you just use it responsibly and discreetly, I doubt any law enforcement will mind.

Is it not open for Indian users and do you ship to INDIA ?

We are certainly open for India. Does it still not work?
Yeah it loaded , what is shipping cost ?

Exact sum is shown during checkout, depending on the package weight it is about $12 for worldwide shipping I believe.

That sounds about right. According to organofcorti's blog, our average time to find a block over the last 3 weeks (Jan 04-24 inclusive) is 1.2x, 1.2x and 1.42x the expected value, which is 78.5%. It's been a bad start to the year.

It's been about equally bad since about the start of December.

I averaged the luck percentage from all blocks since about four months ago and graphed them. The luck slump looks pretty mellow from here actually..

(expected value is 500)
79  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price Prediction 2015 on: January 25, 2015, 05:31:09 PM
Lots of troll votes (1000+ and 1$)

Those are not necessarily troll votes. Even satoshi himself said that he believed that bitcoin would eventually either be very valuable or completely worthless, not somewhere in between.
80  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Jan 12th to Approx Jan 27th diff thread (3.5%) on: January 25, 2015, 05:15:57 PM
This is looking good for the next two weeks, exchange rate nearing $250 helps too.

Still worse than before the crash though
