62  Economy / Speculation / Re: Your most realistic ATH prediction for the next cycle? on: July 31, 2022, 11:14:09 PM
Obviously this takes a very long time and requires more patience there if you really dream of that big price Smiley
On the other hand, this actually just goes back to time, apart from the predictions that have happened, this is only an assumption with various data and speculations like this, there are only 2 possibilities, namely true and not. for 2020, this is only a little off but not too much if we are still sure about it.
It is very clear, it is more speculation and assumptions based on data that has existed and coincidentally always has a long duration so it still requires patience even though it does not have a certainty because I am more confident in the increasing number of demand and supply in the market so that it can have an effect on increasing future prices.
I believe in the growth as the user rate keeps increasing with time than falling down. This will surely increase the demand. The market is in good condition, though we're in the bearish trend. Even at this situation it is possible for users to make some profit out of the fluctuation. Only thing the users needs to do is analyse and observe the market changes. By the next cycle it'll probably move above $100k.

I am also positive on this market as the number of users and other stakeholders are growing. It means, it may contribute in the demand sooner or later. Worry if you are not hearing any more news from crypto market. But right now, we are still seeing organizations coming up with new projects related to blockchain technology or companies utilizing the crypto concept. This market is still evolving so there's hope about the new ATH in the future.
63  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Ryan Garcia vs Javier Fortuna - July 16 on: July 01, 2022, 10:52:30 PM
@Vaculin, I hope this time we will really see a big knockout win by Garcia.

Sometimes, what he said is not going to happen in the actual fight, but I love his confidence, that only means he was disappointed on himself for not winning by KO in his first fight this year, so he wants to correct that with an impressive win.

For sure, he might go for a KO win here, that's what we all wanted to see from Ryan, just like what he did to Duno (a promising boxer from Philippines, but then he knock him out).

So he needs to be impressive here, hand speed and then his powerful left hook, a perfect punch and it's over for Fortuna. He also needs to show that he has learn new techniques from Goosen too, maybe a stiff jab like his boss, Oscar dela Hoya during his prime.

I am certain he watched his last fight over and over again, and learned what needs to be done next time around. So if he wants to make a good impression to his boxing fans this Fortuna fight, we should see an improved Garcia here. He is being groomed as another prizefighter by dela Hoya. So we should see a high caliber boxer here and not just winning because the opponent is weak.
64  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Mark Magsayo vs Rey Vargas WBC Featherweight Title (July 9) on: June 25, 2022, 11:37:13 PM
Being overconfident is good for me as long as the boxer follows properly the strategy that they worked hard for and does not treat the fight as an easy match.

I do hope its fruit is positive, I agree that it can give a boxer a boost in their performance but often times boxer who shows overconfidence often messed up causing costly mistakes.  I am not a pessimist here just talking about the worst possible scenario of being overconfident, especially in a boxing match.  And looking at Magsayo's opponent, I believe Vargas has the ability to take advantage of an opponent's mistake.

But no crypto sportsbook has listed this fight yet? It is like about couple of weeks and no bookie yet listing for the odds. Magsayo may be the slight favorite here. But yes, he should not be very confident as Vargas seemed to be a good boxer on his own.
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A police officer (ASP) in Bangladesh was detected as crypto investor on: June 23, 2022, 09:20:36 PM
Oh, I didn't know cryptos are illegal in Bangladesh. I am sorry for those who live there that they break the law just by hodling or trading cryptos there... Is the punishment serious if you get caught? What's going to happen to this police officer, for example? Will it be discharge, as dimonstration suggested it might be? Can it be a big fine or even prison time? I understand it depends on the circumstances (for example, it's one thing if it's just hodling cryptos he's accused of but another if the source of funds is also illegal), but if it's only about cryptos (not potential corruption), what is likely to happen and what's legally possible?
The fact that he's a police officer and he's expected to be the first to abide the law, then his action does not justify his profession. But if you are just practical, who would not want to invest in crypto when its profits are very promising. I guess even those with higher positions in their country are also tempted to invest in crypto, its just that they are not yet discovered. Hopefully, he'll get the expected profits investing from a shitcoin, as some of them may give huge profits temporarily.

I believe a lot of politicians or other personalities are secretly investing in crypto market. I know Bangladesh has strict regulations towards crypto. So he should be discreet of showing to the public that he is into crypto. Otherwise, people speculate of corruption and other things. Same goes to other people, better not disclose your crypto involvement so your life will be peaceful, no worries about other people that may possibly ask you favors and all. Because some will think that you are doing great when you are into crypto, but there's more than meets the eyes in this market.
66  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is dead! on: June 19, 2022, 09:42:52 PM
I'll start by saying that I haven't sold anything since 2021 and still hold 80% of my bitcoins from 2016, but the price is looking the weakest I've ever seen it. It's not about the price in USD but the way it goes down week after week without any comebacks and retests. This is not normal even for Bitcoin. Looks like all that hype that institutions are coming to bitcoin is unwinding and it's going to end with a headache for all of us.

For me personally even $3k is nothing because I held all the way from 1k to 20k and back down to 3k, so if we were to fall down to 3k again I'd still hold, but it's painful to watch how a stupid USD pump can bring something that's being traded all around the world down.
This is the path I have taken as well, and even though it is 20k right now, I still have absolutely no reason to sell right now and would never sell. This doesn't mean that I am not upset about the price drop, of course I am upset about the price drop, why wouldn't I be? I have all my investments in just bitcoin these days, sold everything else and holding bitcoin only, so when that falls it does make me feel shitty about it for sure.

But, just because I am upset that it went down, doesn't change the data and the idea that bitcoin wins in the long run, me being upset has absolutely no relevance to profit making at all. This is why I do not sell just because I feel something, emotions have no place in trading.

As long as you are not selling, you are not losing in this market. Also, you are buying btc because you believe that someday you will reap your rewards. So for me, it is just normal to feel disappointed or whatever feeling you have in the current market situation. But as long as you hodl, you're not a loser right now. Who knows, it is only a matter of time before we see it going up fast again. This is crypto, so there are so many things happening in just 24 hours.
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥🔥[ANN] XFUEL - Fueling the BUSDX Ecosystem 🔥🔥 on: June 12, 2022, 08:48:36 PM
Is there any exchange where this coin will be listed or you have your own exchange where it will be listed only. The real coin these days is the one that gets success in listing on major exchange like binance. Rest all are just shit coins and are not worthy for investment.

They are offering too many features like XPAY, XNFT, XSWAP which is like developing a single platform which is a kind of single stop solution. But the real question is how they roll out the product. If they can develop what they are claiming then it will definitely have a moon shot.

NFT are no more a buzz word its a reality now and that's why there are too many projects already launched in this niche. XFUEL must try to bring something new that can attract new investors. What they are offering at the moment is already launched.

They are offering a wide variety of services but the question is, how are they going to attract customers? The competition is getting tough as there are so many networks that are offering similar services. Hence, they need to have some remarkable features that crypto users can identify them. Otherwise, they are facing hard challenges to get their clients on board and utilize their services.
68  Economy / Gambling / Re: Which sportbooks allow winners on: June 11, 2022, 11:05:48 PM
I've read some sites restricting users during the time of withdrawal, but no platform restrict users just because they've won. Every gambling platform have got limitations on the minimum and the maximum bet. One can play according to that and if someone is restricting then it is like missing opportunity, because the availability of more number of sportsbook will attract users towards it.

But there are some casinos here in the past that won't pay the big winnings of the player. They will find loopholes or conditions that the player violated just not to pay them. But if you will go to top casinos or sportsbooks that are known here, I don't think you will have a problem when it comes to withdrawal. Usually, the situation of not getting your winnings are casinos that don't have thread in the forum and no active support. So if you are keeping your list within the casinos that you can find here, I believe you won't be screwed unless you violated one of their ToS.
69  Economy / Economics / Re: Should we embrace a cashless policy?? on: June 10, 2022, 07:18:46 PM
Cashless policy can be easily practiced in some advanced countries like America, some parts of Europe, China etc but the basic challenge with some 3rd world country are literacy issue and poor network in which will not make it easy for transactions to be carried out...

To pursue a cashless policy there are necessary things needed such as electricity and internet connection as well as gadgets which is a struggle for people living in 3rd world countries. No matter how we push it, if some people aren't capable no matter how we educate them, there will still be conflicts in the end. I guess some countries should have to solve some issues first to make this policy possible.

Maybe you will be surprised, even the third world countries now has high percentage of owning smartphones according to this [irl=https://www.pewresearch.org/global/2019/02/05/in-emerging-economies-smartphone-adoption-has-grown-more-quickly-among-younger-generations/] article [/url]. The article was 2019, so high likely, the figures are already improved this year, remember during the pandemic, people are communicating mostly over the internet.

We are somehow using cashless methods in our everyday transaction, however, we can't totally eradicate the physical cash as there are some services which are not practical to use the cashless method, like small retailer shops. But some of them are already adopting as there are financial apps now that you can easily send your payment to. We don't need to aim for 100% but we are heading to patronize cashless payment already, even the third world countries.
70  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake and primedice are the worst gambling sites on: June 09, 2022, 09:56:58 PM
I don't really know much about primedice, but stake, am really kind of surprised to see some one say they are the worst gambling site after all their achievements, not trying to attack the op, for I understand that we all have different experiences with different casinos.

But for the few times I've played on stake, I've never had issues, though am not a big player, I only played with small amount and of course, I won in some games and lost in others, but I must admit I never paid any attention to the issues OP brought up here, maybe he's right, I can't really say, but one fact I know is that, stake is really big.

Maybe, the OP is talking about his experience on these sites. We can never really tell where he is coming from. But considering that both sites are established and reputable in this community, many won't agree with the OP's sentiments. I haven't encountered any problems with both sites, for the few times that I played on them. So I can't say much but one thing for sure, stake right now is one of the biggest crypto gambling sites. Just look at their endorsers now, like Drake. They can't afford to collaborate with a celebrity if they are generating menial income.
71  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Ryan Garcia vs Javier Fortuna - July 19 on: June 08, 2022, 10:23:18 PM
My question is..... What excuse is Ryan Garcia going to come up to withdraw from this fight? We know he used "mental issues" and a "wrist injury" as an excuse... so there are not a lot else he can use for this fight.

I hope, if he decides to fight.. that he will be well prepared, because Javier Fortuna has got an explosive left paw and he swing like crazy, so if one or two of those swings goes home, Garcia is going to be in trouble.   Wink

I am looking forward to this fight.... and my bet will go towards Javier Fortuna.  Grin
Mental problems were the reason for Garcia to cancel the fight earlier, some media said that Garcia had a problem with severe anxiety disorders, but fortunately now the fight has officially been set july 19, indeed Fortune is a strong boxer but his long absence from boxing has certainly made his performance decline a bit now, besides the age factor might make me more confident that Garcia will win the fight by knockout in the third round, so far I have seen that Garcia is a boxer who is confident enough to face any opponent and certainly his fast and aggressive fighting style will certainly make his opponents cornered.

Well I just hope he hasn't used that as an excuse not to fight, because mental problems and mental health in athletes is a topic that is very fashionable, especially for women, but taking into account Fortuna's hunger to win It's incredible, and given that this whole scenario has developed like this, logic says that the best thing is to bet on Fortuna, because in the case of Ryan I don't know how well prepared he is to face this challenge, he has also been very out of shape, I don't know how demanding his training is at the moment, but the fight is close, and the odds point to Fortuna winning, of course this can change, suddenly we have an upset and Ryan gets a knockout, anything is possible.

Ryan's promoter, Golden Boy, won't choose Fortuna if they are not seeing advantage to their boxer. Remember, Golden Boy is grooming Garcia so for now, it seems they are cherry picking their opponents. But Fortuna, is not to be considered as weak opponent. If he is well-prepared on this one, he can easily beat Garcia. Both should be in their training grounds to prepare for this fight.
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: NFT Play To Earn can make 50x - 100x? on: June 06, 2022, 06:59:18 PM
~
The Play-to-Earn model has shown itself to be another fleeting trend in the industry. Now these games, p2e tokens are going to zero, and there is almost no trace of the former hype and number of active community. Now the crypto industry is trying to find new trends like move-2-earn, learn-2-earn, etc. The problem of all these models in general, and p2e model in particular, is that users see in it only speculative component, like in most altcoins, and until tokens find utilitarian application and become in demand not only as a tool for speculation, we will see rapid rise and fall of both individual projects and whole business models.
Like you mentioned, the market is looking for more trends to continue the hype, last time it was DeFi and NFT and it will continue like that with P2E tokens and the metaverse and there are many who are waiting to see the promises unfolding when they launch the Metaverse and i am only expecting a few good projects that will survive till the next rally. My expectation is that many Web 3.0 related projects will pop up during the next rally.

Will it continue? The hype of these trends is over. Now, if new projects will come out, they will not be as frequent as before. Now the hype is not around P2E, but around M2E and on the wave of this hype there is a large number of clones of the successful M2E-project StepN. I am surprised how quickly trends and hypes change. 3-6 months and already a new trend, crypto industry develops very fast, it is very difficult to get into projects, which are born at the beginning of a new trend for some tokens.

I don't think P2E hype is over. Gaming industry is a huge one, and some P2E gaming platforms are just starting. Even known gaming companies are now trying their hands on this concept. Most of the P2E platforms may die because of lack of solid backing. But for popular and established gaming companies, they may thrive. Because the gaming community is growing especially during this pandemic era. With the M2E concept, it depends on how successful they can get and sustain their users. I don't know if this can last. But the P2E, I believe they can last because there's already gaming community even before this hype.
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Well, you put your money in your luna if it gets forked? on: May 29, 2022, 11:49:23 PM
A fork from a priceless token is still a priceless fork... It makes no sense to invest in LUNA for this reason. It's like adding 0 + 0 and expecting something above 0 as final result.

On the other hand, if I were a LUNA investor who lost 99% of the investment value due to the recent crash, I would keep holding the coins to see what happens. That would be an extreme and desperate strategy, though. Nevertheless, there wouldn't be much to do anyway. To sell every coins and recover less than 1% of the initial investment seems even worse. Tongue

In this case, I really hope speculators help pumping this currency once again, so initial adopters can recover a larger percentage of their portfolio, but I think it's unlikely to happen.

That would be the decision of the previous holders. Just wait if there will be something good to happen in this fork. Otherwise, don't put more money into this project. Hard to spend more to something uncertain. We also don't know if the LUNA team is just doing this for the sake of giving false hope to the screwed holders of their coins. I believe, not trust what they are saying. Better trust your instincts.
74  Economy / Economics / Re: What can an average JOE do to face the global food crisis? on: May 26, 2022, 08:15:30 PM
What came in to my head first is to invest  more fund to create a huge backyard farm or buy an isolated land where you can have your own farm. This will help you in the long run with the continued rise of food prices in the market. Having your own live stocks, crops, and some sort of plant/spices that's essential with everyday cooking will save you a lot of money.
You could even start your own business importing these food products in your local market eventually.
I would guess that it could work, if you know what you are doing then you do not even need land neither. You could build something in your home as well. Even one room would be enough to cover maybe like quarter of your food cost as well.

Not that you would have to raise it yourself, since the prices would go up, you would be selling it yourself and then you would be making a profit by selling them and pay expensive amount for whatever food you want with that profit. Hydroponics would allow you to have a small farm in your room, and if you leave one full room for it, it should be giving you a great return as well with the most efficient and optimum way as well.

This is what I am thinking also, you don't need big land to be at least self-sufficient. A small garden can already reduce some of your food expenses. You don't need to be a rocket scientist to tend one. It just needs a lil bit of hard work and once you set-up your garden, the maintenance would not be a burden as it may need only a lil bit of attention. At the end of the day, it is your willingness to explore what you have and not complain with everyday things.
75  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for May on: May 16, 2022, 10:38:53 PM
The amount of no's in the results gives me a lot of hope. I know that it sounds weird, people are saying that it won't, and these people are the ones that should buy it to make it go up, so it sounds weird for me to say or even expect the same people who say no would end up buying and making it go up.

I'm also thinking that people aren't in panic despite the declining trend. In fact, if we just picture what happened in the last bear market compared to today, we really see the panic selling isn't visible this time, we can't hear such an issue online and that was good news. In this way, we can tell that people are much more positive about the future of Bitcoin and much more willing to hold rather than take it off their hands because of their emotions. However, we couldn't expect a big rally, the price of Bitcoin will still stay below $40 in the whole month of May.

Maybe, as we have seen these many times already, people are more hopeful that in the very near future, bitcoin will recover. As it always does. So the panic this time is not very alarming. Some may even silently buying their satoshis in preparation for the next bounce of bitcoin. But for this month, I am only aiming for btc to at least reach the $35k level again as we are already past the half period of this month.
76  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What did you learn about crypto trading? on: May 08, 2022, 10:25:05 PM
During the time I started trading in crypto, I didn't think of making huge money instead I was thinking how to trade successfully and how to avoid losses so that I can keep my small capital secured. In other word, I was afraid of losses. Spending time to learn and understand technical analysis, the trading view platform, and a market as a whole has shown me that making a living and earning good profit is possible in crypto market.
Most of the time new traders make the mistake at that moment. They thought that it is very easy to earn money by investing in crypto currency. They can not control their self ultimately they lost huge money. So it is very important in trading platform is learning there is no alternative way to get success accept it.

There are many reasons why a trader can earn profit from this market but definitely you need basic information on how to trade crypto at the very least. It is easy to trade, but getting profit is another thing. The simple rule in trading which is, buy low, sell high is actually difficult to execute once you are in the trading market. How would you know it is in the lower price level of the coin or the higher price range. So in this regard, you need to focus on the coin/s you want to trade with and understand their market movement. For sure, there is a reason why they were dumped for certain period of time or come rising after couple of months. That's your goal here, understand their market so you approximately know when to execute your trades.
77  Economy / Economics / Re: Looks like markets are crashing ! this is it ...it's the big one ! on: May 05, 2022, 10:05:24 PM
The market have crashed around 10% which is quite a big change, but this is predicted to be a short term movement. The price that bounced yesterday marking an unexpected downfall is the risky part of the market. For any form of market movement we need to be prepared. Users can make good profit in the short/long term. Now one can prefer buying through the Dollar Cost Average process which, because the price is supposed to drop as low as $33k.

For those who are waiting for this opportunity to come, why not take advantage of this situation in the market? You can buy at 36k or when it drops to 33k. And then wait for the market to bounce back, because if you believe on this market. Definitely, you will think that this will not stay at 36k nor 33k. Maybe, few days from now, we are seeing it going up again. So don't wait too long before it starts going up. But of course, this is all on you. Your decision on this matter will tell you your next move.
78  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is the end of Fiat money at hand? on: May 02, 2022, 11:07:31 PM
From the inception of bitcoin, it was intended to be used as normal currency so every part of the world could use one online trading currency (electronic currency). But due to its price volatility it makes it a bit difficult to actualize that dream.
Yes, it is like this.
However, the journey is not as easy as this because it is constrained by regulations from each country on whether to allow Bitcoin as a legal currency or not. While most countries do not allow or even ban Bitcoin as a legal currency. So that currently Bitcoin is used more as a commodity asset, especially in certain countries.
Although we know that actually everyone can also use Bitcoin as a currency for payments as long as both parties understand and agree to the payment with Bitcoin. But again, this is still constrained by regulations and also the limited number of merchants that accept Bitcoin as a means of payment.

There are many types of stable coin such as USDT, DIA, BUSD, TUSD, UST etc. And most people uses this insted of fiat money, will it be that later in the future countries will no longer use Fiat money but these electronic currency?
While there are many stablecoins, this does not mean that fiat will be replaced. Moreover, they are currently designing a CBDC.
Stablecoins are still cryptocurrencies and this will also depend on the regulation of the country itself.
So, better to wait and see

Fiat money will still be the universal currency as not all people will join this market especially the old generation. I can understand with the younger gen getting on board without hesitation in crypto. But for sure, this market can't attract a big population around the globe. Just think of those people who are in remote areas. They are just happy and contented using the traditional money. Fiat money, I believe, will stay even in our lifetime. The growth of crypto adoption may increase but most will still rely on their fiat.
79  Economy / Gambling / Re: What is a game you would like to see in an online crypto casino? on: April 30, 2022, 10:21:04 PM
Good initiative OP. Nice to know you care about what the community here thinks and ready to hear their suggestions. Kudos to you for that!
What I would like to see is an in-house card game (or any game that depends on skill) where players can play against each other (PvP). The most important thing is that the game must be provably fair to avoid any possibility of manipulation.

Knowing the sentiments from the players is indeed good initiative as to see where they want to explore next. It may not be a hit but at least, they can try integrating one of the suggestions by the users here. We are already seeing most classic casino games. So yeah, a unique game would be nice to see in a casino just to break the cycle.
80  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Some Errors We Make In Trading Crypto on: April 29, 2022, 08:39:54 PM
Mistakes are part of life from mistakes we learn but it's very much better if we learn from other persons mistake as you have listed,
Though literally you can't totally take away mistakes because some do come as result of thinking that what you're doing is right and at the end it end up being a mistake.
Too, making mistakes sometimes is good because mistake is part of learning and some mistakes taught you what you know today.
In General it's good we avoid mistake in our trading career as much as we can so we don't end up losing our hard earned money and mostly learn from other people's mistake.

Based from the list of the OP, I believe, most of us had experienced a thing or two from the list. Like using exchanges with high withdrawal fees. Sometimes, we can't avoid to use a specific exchange if they are the only trading platform that has trading pair for your coin. So you will end up using that exchange because you have no other option. Not all projects can accommodate to list in several exchanges. Usually, at the start, they will only list it to one exchange that they can afford to pay the fees. But of course, if you have other ways, you can always opt for much better trading platform. This is why for me, I don't consider it as a mistake because most of the time, it is your only option to take.
