61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could a coin price be locked in place? on: February 24, 2019, 04:45:34 PM
Never had such an question ever before but the answer to your question is a clear no. C'mon it is common sense that only those commodity's have a fixed price where someone or an authority decides the price. When it comes to Bitcoin there's no such authority who sets a fixed price for ,it also goes for other cryptocurrenies as well.
62  Economy / Marketplace / Re: can bitcoin in the future surpass gold? on: February 24, 2019, 04:16:25 PM
Meh to be honest Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency has a chance to surpass gold. Gold would Still be prefferd over cryptocurrency by many many people as gold is considered to be amore safe investment than cryptocurrency and the reason people believe in gold more than any other thing is because gold is around from quite a while.
63  Other / Meta / Re: Selling of merits and btctalk accounts on: February 24, 2019, 04:11:58 PM
I haven't seen buying or selling of merits but have seen many I mean many threads of buying and selling of Bitcoin talk accounts. I would say everyone should report the person who is encouraging the sale of merits and accounts and let those people get red tagged so they don't get to continue their ways.
64  Economy / Speculation / Re: How news influence the market. on: February 23, 2019, 05:47:38 PM
We live in a time where people are being influenced through media ,the media has been manipulative since the very beginning. Now how it affects the market is maybe like when the media says cryptocurrency is a pyramid scheme or something similar and people start thinking it is and they start selling their cryptos and the market starts going having.
65  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Earning cryptocurrency doing your everyday shopping in this bear market. on: February 23, 2019, 05:38:58 PM
I haven't used any such website where one can pay through a cryptocurrency and also I haven't had heard about the websites you mentioned. I remember my friend was mentioning once about such a website which accepts cryptocurrency as payments and I didn't believe at first on him, I still prefer converting cryptocurrency into Fiat and use it.
66  Economy / Reputation / Re: Abuse due to revenge? on: February 23, 2019, 04:08:58 PM
Why does it sound like it has happened with you, I'm not pointing fingers at you but I have a doubt. Anyways I personally know someone(suppose A) who has fallen prey to this thing you mentioned of in 4-5 lines but the guy(suppose B) who accused A of cheating campaigns with alt accounts didn't know each other at all so I don't know whether was it for revenge or eliminating competition because B was later found to have multiple alt accounts and was also cheating campaigns.
If someone wants to check this case I can link the thread.

68  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Cryptocurrency change financial institutions completely? on: February 17, 2019, 05:57:26 AM
Where difficult to predict whether Bitcoin can change financial institutions or not because as of yet bitcoin hasn't changed any financial institutions majorly as of such in so many years of its existence even when bitcoin values were somehwe 19k and had good market value it didn't turn out to be that influential on financial institutions majorly so as of now with cureent market I don't think bitcoin would change any financial institutions.
69  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to make Bitcoin more approachable to common users on: February 17, 2019, 05:43:32 AM
To make bitcoin more approachble to common people is to educate people about the whole cryptocurrency scene, what cryptocurrency is, how does cryptocurrency works, its pros and cons, how to earn cryptocurrency. Unless people know more about bitcoin people won't be very much open to the use of bitcoin.
70  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN GLORIOUS DAYS MIGHT JUST BE HERE on: February 17, 2019, 05:07:57 AM
Bitocins glorious days might just not be close it will take more time than we think, bitcoin's glorious day was when it peaked to 20,000$ and I don't see that happening soon. Market isn't going very smooth I guess. So we might just have to wait for some time to see bitcoin coming back to its old days.
71  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The HODL meme and its impact on Bitcoin on: February 17, 2019, 04:53:18 AM
A mistake by a drunk user came a long way becoming a meme lol. Many people decided to "HODL" when prices were hitting 19k$ to 20k$ thinking prices will go up higher but didn't lol on the other hand prices dipped down harder so HODL wasn't a very good idea for many I guess xd
72  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Have you ever bought a product with Bitcoin and what do you want to buy? on: February 17, 2019, 02:59:53 AM
I have never bought a physical product with bitcoin yet but I have bought digital products like In-game items. I have never got an opportunity to buy any physical product with bitcoin or I should actually never got any platform to buy goods and products where they accept bitcoin.
73  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Why the market is falling and why not be afraid on: February 17, 2019, 02:55:25 AM
The market rates are fall and go up frequently that's something not be worried about that much I guess and also the thing that the market is manipulated to often by big whales to lower the price of cryptocurrency.
74  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bad "good" news. on: February 17, 2019, 02:52:34 AM
It's very common to see that a particular thing getting more famous after been used by a particular popular celebrity. So sometimes fake news are spread to increase the popularity of some products and also it works in the opposite way like the time JP Morgan's Ceo claimed bitcoin to be a pyramid scheme and it heavily affected the market. So before believing on something make sure it is from a trusted source a reputable source this not just for bitcoin but every things in the market that can be bought and sold.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What are the most promising cryptocurrencies? on: February 17, 2019, 02:44:21 AM
I would still go with bitcoin never losing hopes on bitcoin then my further thoughts on having a promising cryptocurrencies are ethereum, litecoin, waves, montero, Ripple, stellar and maybe even EOS
76  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Trading, campaigns, gambling or mining? on: February 16, 2019, 05:31:48 AM
Each of the ways has its own pros and cons I'll try to mention one or two of each.

Trading

Pros
Huge profits can be gained if someone knows when the market rates drops or increase
cons
If someone doesn't about signals then he/she might face huge loses

**There are telegrams channels which provide markets signals for trading** High risk high reward.

Campaigns
Pros
Campaigns are actually a good way and quite an easy way to earn some bit coins.
Cons
Payment isn't quite high and currently signature campaigns are a bit down.
**Low risk low reward **

Gambling
Pros
Huge-huge profits if someone knows to gamble and knows to risk it all.
cons
If you lose your bet you lose everything that you have bet.
Again a high rosh high reward thing.

Mining
Mining requires a very good and powerful setup and with every bitcoin minned the equations start getting more complex which requires more powerful setups which requires hefty investments.
77  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Please DON'T pay any taxes on your crypto! on: February 16, 2019, 02:21:30 AM
Not a very wise advice I would say there's a big chance that people who go t encouraged by you and they didn't pay their tax and may get nailed hard by the government authorities which may also land you up behind bars for not paying your income tax. If I'm not wrong whenever you deposit some good amount of money in your bank account you have got to have some explanation about where did all the money come from because I know someone who has been in this situation where he was called up by bank officials and they demanded an explanation of where the money had come from
78  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are we not abusing decentralization? on: February 16, 2019, 02:14:55 AM
People preferring decentralization are alow the ones who do not want any other entity to have control on their assets and there have been many cases where reputated exchanges and ICOs have fallen prey to attacks so people are preffering decentralization. And as you said in your statement about how man's greed has caused him to exploit his freedoms and rights in any situation, I 100% agree it to be true but we cannot help there are people who always try finding a way to take unfair advantage of any thing which is meant for the betterment of the society, they exploit it for their own benefits and that can't be helped it is the very nature of man itself.
79  Bitcoin / Mycelium / Re: Is Mycelium still trustworthy ? on: February 14, 2019, 11:36:42 AM
I myself have been using Mycellium for a long time and haven't faced such an issue myself though and also I had never heard of this before reading the post. Using some offline wallets or cold storage would be a safe option for storing bitcoins in large amounts. Mycellium is good for storing small amount of bitcoins .
80  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Never use Coinbase wallet's private key back up feature on: February 14, 2019, 11:32:12 AM
A good thing by the OP to notify other members about this. I myself won't support storing private keys for bitcoin wallets to be stored in any sort of online cloud service because if during an event of a cloud service getting hacked it would risk all the private keys and the bitcoins as well. According to me, notepads on personal phones and Macs are a way better way to store away private keys.
