601  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Blocknet about to blow? on: June 01, 2017, 09:22:23 PM
The UI for Blocknet is due soon. Theres not much for sale on the sell side of Bittrex.

Its the 1st atomic trading decentralised market. Price is slowly creeping up. Other 'decentralised' exchanges are valued a lot higher than Block. I think its gona moon really soon.

so blocknet is a decentralized trade platform, if people want to trade any coins in there they would need to download each wallet before can trade. i think this is so much hassle, if they could find way to eliminating this then it could be worth something.

this decentralized trade platform will never go mobile because of this.
all and all i don't think it is worth it to use blocknet
602  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum converting to proof of stake will lead to it's inevitable destruction on: June 01, 2017, 07:40:33 AM
I'm not really a huge fan of Ethereum so if the devs decide to bring it down like the Hindenburg it's not going to be a big deal to me, but I'm sure some people will mind.  In this post I explain in detail why proof of stake has no value, and of course neither does proof of work once ASIC are created:

my concern this pyramid scam will never go pos

PoW is centralised by China miners. It is extremely uneffective and with growth of difficulty will be simply impossible to exist.

Right now Bitcoin miners are using energy as a whole Denmark. Its useless waste..

PoS is based on code...it is like human nervous system will be autonomous and independent in future.
And it is not wasting electricity.

what the f this have to do with my replied and relevant to it?
like i always said seen the beginning, this pyramid scam will never or will drag on forever from moving to POS.
this pyramid scam eth will die out when we could removing one of the two options below;
1.polioniex - this exchange is survive and thrive today because of eth, it will always protecting and advertising this pyramid scam eth at all cost.
2. eth moving from pow to pos - this will take sometime

while we waiting for one of this option to happen i encourage everyone to test out waves platform wallet or read ark whitepaper.
603  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain Bubble in the Making? Memories of 2000 Tech Bubble on: June 01, 2017, 05:12:26 AM
As the ICOs continue rolling out with millions of dollars being raised it begs the question if this is the beginning of a blockchain bubble.  In the last week we have seen the price of Bitcoin and Ethereum move all over the place.

this blockchain tech is just getting warm up, sorry you didn't invest in it.
the options for everyone invest in this blockchain world is choose the right one or choose the wrong(scam) one, just know 99% are wrong answer out of thousands.
604  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple Future. on: June 01, 2017, 05:04:30 AM
I bought 50000 XRP with 0.35 USD, but now price is going down less than 0.25 USD. I am worried about whether I should buy more or hold.
Please give me your opinion.

yesterday 0.25USD and today is .30USD, what is that you don't understand? should be around .040USD sometime this week or next one then you have options to hold or sell at profits.
605  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum Forecast To Surpass Bitcoin By 2018 on: June 01, 2017, 05:00:53 AM

you is a senior member with 445 posts and asking basic kid question.
your pump post probably wouldn't worth much here.

for your answer waves is a much better platform, try to download waves wallet and try it yourself. it is already a POS and better network platform.
607  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple thoughts on: June 01, 2017, 04:52:50 AM
Ripple is a private startup that transfer value in seconds, faster than ETH and Bitcoin (according to their website) true or not I don't know.

It has about 38 million coins in circulation, out of 100 million coins that exist.

If it is a private, centralized startup, I wonder if it will have success for the long term, since most of the decentralized start up these days have the main advantage of being decentralized, perhaps Ripple can succeed for the first 5 to 10 years? but once the whole population understand the difference between centralize and decentralized probably they will move to the decentralized startups.

Comments?

i think you meant billion as in 38billion and 100billion coins.
ripple is much better than etheruim, this eth is pretty much a centralized 1 ugly person show, bagholders refused to admit/recognize it is a 1 person pyramid platform. the etherieum hype thing have no user or big corporation base adoption.

all and all the big banks going to use ripple and that is where the money coming from.
608  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: the next $billion dollars coin on: June 01, 2017, 04:43:54 AM
i chose monero and waves to be the next billion dollars coin but at this point waves is going to be a billion dollars coin/token before monero
i think waves team is doing an amazing job, it will be within #10 sometime this summer.

612  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ARK or ARDR ?! on: May 26, 2017, 07:29:50 AM
people don't know what SmartBridge is to say it is a copy of Lisk.
Lisk is fork of crypti, ark is fork of lisk but all platforms have different direction after each forked, most of crypti team are now working on Ark. Basically the codebase is belong to it original creators.
Imagine Lisk is an apple or Android app store, if you have Ark smartbridge you can use both of the apps on ark, not just limit to one.

At this point I think lisk is going nowhere, better all put into Ark.
Nxt platform is so old tech and rusty, it also going nowhere after almost half a decade.

I have some Ethereum but I see it as an extremely risky investment long term. Sure it could keep going up, but what exactly are we investing in ?

If you think you are investing in the business models (DAO's) that run on it, think again. As far as those are concerned the blockchains are interchangeable. What happens when a successful DAO decides it wants to move to the next latest and greatest platform - be it Tezos, Rootstock, Ether Classic, whatever ? No problem ! They just create new tokens on the competing chain and supply them on a 1 to 1 exchange basis for the 'old' ones.

Thats the problem with these smart contract chains. There's an airgap between the base token and the real value source.

That airgap isn't there with the monetary blockchains. If you own Bitcoin, Litecoin, Dash, Monero, Dogue, Peercoin, Unobtanium, Jackpotcoin you own it because the coin itself has value. There ain't no replacing it with another chain because it ain't itself any more. Whereas with a DAO token, you can move it to another chain and it's STILL itself.

I therefore regard these smart contract tokens with extreme caution when it comes to holding them as store of value. Monetary tokens can keep going up forever. Smart contract tokens can have the value drained out of them one day by a competing technology and for it never to come back. Consider investing in electronic typewriters in the 1970's. You'd have made a lot of money as long as you got out at some point. But if you held till the end of the 80's you'd be broke. Meanwhile if you'd held precious metal throughout you'd be fine.

Therefore the general rule is:

Monetary Blockchain Tokens: Real Gold
Smart contract Blockchain Tokens: Fools Gold

Smart Contract blockchain tokens = the 'Electronic Typewriter Shares' of the 21st century Wink

good and clear explanation!

in the future people can pretty much creating token/coin/contract/dao on Ark platform and move or exchange their Eth token/contract there. Ark is just one of many better platform coming next and soon there will be many, ark with better scalability network, larger(current 200tps) and fast transactions.
i see Ark is cracking this code wide open.

hey ark people, is this pretty much sum up SmartBridge?

Excellent explanation but you'll have to pardon my ignorance:

Among the top 10 coins, which do you see as smart contract coins, versus monetary coins? And how does Ark fit in there?

i'm not ark expert or team so i don't know much about it sorry. token/smart contract platform at top 10 are eth, eth classic, and nem. also know any coin can have token/smart contract platform like rootstock  smart contract platform is for bitcoin. what these smart contracts platform don't have is Interoperability blockchains like Ark do.
614  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: In what manner will Ethereum surpass bitcoin? on: May 24, 2017, 03:04:27 AM
The manner Eth bagholder need to stop creating sock pupppet accounts and spamming but then it;s probably impossible.

Think again ...  Shocked

ROFL, a few hundreds to 1 trillion dollar?
617  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The PUMP/DUMP power of Poloniex on: May 23, 2017, 10:17:35 AM
Hello guys

I recently checked the top 30 coins listed on coinmarketcap and I came to a (rather scary) conclusion. Nearly all of them are listed on Poloniex. All of them with staggering growths. Huge amounts of tradings happen on Poloniex. According to coinmarketcap more than 30 percent of Bitcoin traffic goes trough Poloniex. Siacoin 55 percent. Stratis 62 percent. These are numbers we should not be happy about. Whole the idea of blockchain is decentralisation, yet nearly all traffic goes trough one channel -Poloniex-. The great bitcoin Bubble happened because of the downfall of one trading-platform. One of the biggest at the time. I think it would be of great importance that trading not only relies on one or two platforms. Imagine the idea of a Poloniex fall-out. More trading-platforms are a necessity if we like to have a stable and safer bitcoin/altcoin market. What are your thoughts or ideas about this?

your post seem and sound of giving much credential to poloniex.
poloniex, bittrex or kraken, if any one of these exchanges fall-out crypto would screws a couple years back, not just limited to poloniex. i'm worry more of bittrex fall-out than poloniex, it would impacting more coins.

just hope none of them exchange getting screw

I dont know what makes you feel more worried about bittrex than poloniex because trex actually is top notch in regards of security, has never been hacked before, and the founders have extensive backrgrounds in the IT, security field.

And what about poloniex? Wink

read my last sentence on first paragraph.
i didn't say polo is safer than bittrex or bittrex is safer than polo. what i'm saying crypto would be more damaging if bittrex failed than polo failed, and will always is.

I hope you invest some money into learning and improving your English.

don't blame my english when you have no logic
