601  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scams possibly worth 100/1000s of BTC. on: December 13, 2016, 07:42:02 PM
So, do you want a congratulations or something?

No.

As you've mentioned nothing helpful to the wider bitcoin community in this thread.

Maybe I have my reasons? My goal is not to be helpful to the "wider bitcoin community", but to reach to certain members I can trust. Anyway, I've managed to find enough proofs (though there are a lot more connections to be made).

You didn't even mention the amount this "young boy" lost in the scam.

That won't hurt that much. We're talking about 1+ BTC.

Thank you for your comment!

Cheers,
Spartak
602  Other / Meta / Re: Can the mods search for BTC addresses, which are in member's profile? on: December 13, 2016, 02:20:35 PM
You are be able to do a Google search of site:bitcointalk.org "profile" "[address]"

The quotes will link to profiles and specify the address. Shouldn't that work?

That obviously works (i.e. "site:bitcointalk.org address", and even address only + bitcointalk), but if there was something like a cached version (i.e. someone has changed his address several times), then it's a bit different. Smiley There's a reason for asking this, otherwise my Google Fu is pretty good, but it would spare certain amount of time.

If you need help for development i will help you, even Imed agrees to Wink
I will try to see about services, if you have any idea, let me know.
We can provide node and pool for now.

If you want to help, then buy some ARCO (in order to have interest in the coin itself) and then you and Imed can collaborate with Jure. I am already involved in other project and this is the first time I've put my name on something else. I will only try to help as I can, but Jure is the one who launched the coin, so most of the future actions depends on him.

Got it, the coin is no longer minable, so it is useless to add it to a mining pool, maybe a staking node ? there are enough nodes on it, 24 connections, so can you share our contacts with Jur ? maybe we can provide with some elements for the project depending on how he intends to move.

Jure = staysecure

Nope. I'm using search on forum or blocktrail.

Ah, snap... Thanks for your answer though!

608  Other / Meta / Can the mods search for BTC addresses, which are in member's profile? on: December 13, 2016, 10:22:26 AM
I mean addresses, which were never posted here on the forum, but they are in someone's profile?
609  Economy / Scam Accusations / Scams possibly worth 100/1000s of BTC. on: December 13, 2016, 09:42:36 AM
Heya,

A young boy contacted me via Twitter (and later Facebook), but everything was pretty confusing at first. After we talked for about 30 mins, I have understand that someone stole some BTC from him (probably via phishing, will specify the amount if anyone trusted engage in this). I hadn't much time lately, but this morning (its 11:43 am here now) I started to dig and I believe that I found connections between addresses funded with 100s of BTC, which often "communicated" with each other. Still not 99% sure, but I believe that they don't belong to exchanges or pools and that is why I think I'm on to something, which may lead to scams worth a lot of money. I am very determined to help the boy and if someone wants to engage and help as well, please find me on freenode IRC (same nickname). I have already connected 2 (allegedly) real names connected to these scams, but I need to dig for some more details in order to contact them. Otherwise, FBI will be involved in the case.

Can you give a list of services ?
What kind of fork ?
Do you have a global goal ?

I meant if someone knows some services, which may be interested in accepting ARCO as a payment.
I'm not the one to discuss these.

What matters? The important think is that after i've bought the coins below 900 satoshi, someone bought to 1000 and nobody want to dump at that price (~0.008057$ per coin). For sure that price is extremly low (even for a coin which still didn't show anything impressive). This coin is almost one year old, have no bugs, the chain is moving and the dev is paying for maintenance of webside and blockexplorer. Also it have supply of less than million coins by now and good distribution - around 800 active addresses.
For sure, when the dev deliver something, this coin will be my winning lottery ticket.

EDIT: @fork Fingers crossed for name change Cheesy

Things are going to move slowly, so I'd suggest you not to hurry with buying at such a 'high' price (as buy orders are moved much lower). I believe that many of you would have the chance to buy in the 400-600 satoshi range, though discussing prices is not my thing. I doubt that the name will be changed. Smiley

EDIT: The link to the Win wallet was not working, but its now updated.

Oups  Kiss
I think it was just my router who slept for a minute, when i was opening the link.
Any roadmap ?

Jure said he will announce something in the next 1-2 months, but I don't know what would be and I don't ask him any questions. There will be a fork though. Maybe if some of you can offer some cool services that could use ARCO as a payment. Hosting is already negotiated and will be available in a week or so. Now it's bed time for me. Wink
612  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ARCO] AquariusCoin | scrypt PoW/PoS | NO premine | on: December 12, 2016, 11:29:14 PM
Volume on Yobitechange only 0.01 BTC, and it seems to only be done by a bot for a few moments

Not sure if all the volume was made by a bot, but it's not only that. Sometimes someone is buying his own coins on Cryptopia on a higher price, but I can assure you that it's not from the team. Nothing you can do about it.

Hello spartacus, count me in  Smiley

To work.

You can all paint me as red as you like, and take the word of the OP no problem

Cracks me up how you lot seem to think you are the forum police, how about I name the 8 coins this clown has released and is at present scamming your community with, why not get your detective badges on and go figure that out!

Oh and he has his coins, not that you lot give a shit :

So what are you trying to say now? That the OP is bitsta? I know about his (bitsta) scams very well and I can connect the dots if I wanted to, but what's this has to do with your problem here? And FUCK that "forum police" definition! A lot more must be done in order to prevent such scams. If you are a real man, then you are going to answer for your actions!
618  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: crunck (u=307195) is scammer on: December 08, 2016, 05:59:45 PM
Crunck is online as I'm posting this. He had the time to write 5 posts today (see 3 of them below), but he didn't had the time to reply here:

I'm gonna paint him in red too if he does not clarify things in 48 hrs.

P.S. My current local time is 8 pm, so his last post was 1 hour ago.
619  Other / Meta / Re: Probably a dumb question, but... on: December 08, 2016, 10:58:46 AM
Geez, I guess that did the trick:

Not entirely. It seems that you are using more than Depth 2. This is what it should say:

Yeah, I've set it to 4, but will listen to your advice.

Great stuff!

I've gotten myself some ARCO, staking it as well. Looking forward to further updates Smiley

Looks like ARCO has his first shill. Grin

P.S. OP will be updated later, because Jure is currently at work.

EDIT: OP is now updated.
