PSA regarding Ponzis

Ponzi schemes are ‘get rich quick’ investment scams which pay returns to investors from their own money, or from money paid in by subsequent investors. There is no actual investment scheme as the fraudsters siphon off the money for themselves.

A fraudster places an advertisement for a non-existent investment that offers extraordinary returns in a short space of time. Most Ponzis running here do not hesitate to call out they are a Ponzi. After receiving the promised returns on their investment, the first investors start to spread the word to family and friends. In this way, the scheme gains credibility.Because the money isn’t invested in any kind of investment vehicle, there are no profits. Instead, the first investors are simply paid out from the money paid in by new investors.

Ponzi schemes are created for all levels of income, and have taken in investors in the top bracket as well as those on middle and low levels.
Typically, the fraudster will vanish with investors’ money, so the system eventually collapses with later investors receiving nothing - including their initial investment.
Because every Ponzi scheme makes no profit, they collapse sooner or later. You are very unlikely to recover any lost money.

Protect yourself against Ponzi schemes

- If you’re considering any type of investment, always remember: if it seems too good to be true, then it probably is.
- There’s no such thing as a ‘guaranteed risk-free’ investment - high returns can only be achieved with high risk.
- Ponzi fraudsters use vague technical jargon to describe their non-existent investments, such as ‘high yield investment program’ or ‘global currency arbitrage’. This language is most of the times designed to dazzle you.
- Using hard-sell techniques, fraudsters will try to pressure you into making rushed decisions, giving you no time to consider the nature of the investment. (Not so common here)
- As with many fraudulent schemes, you are encouraged to keep your investment secret to ensure you receive maximum returns. This allows the fraudsters to hide the real nature of their scheme.

Ponzi’s are illegal in some country’s. Because of the nature of things we have to deal with people crying they have lost their money sooner or later.

I decided to -ve the operator and supporters of this Ponzi that go on with their shady business after I have posted this.

In simple terms:

This is just another Ponzi Scam! Do Not Invest!

Those who choose to post of their participation support or encouragement for this scam will be tagged with negative trust, for proving they wish to help the scammers operate this Ponzi in return for a share of the funds stolen from other users. Thereby proving they are not trustworthy forum members.

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

NOTE: This is a pre written Text taken from different websites and from here, it is used to bring the matter to your attention. I am aware that this Ponzi might has been running for some time, I just decided to not ignore it any longer. Basically I do so because I am sick of seeing people get burned and operator running away with other people’s money. If you start to hate me because I have chosen to tag people here, while Ponzi XYZ is still running, feel free to bring other Ponzi’s to my attention.

Thank you!

The ratings are garbage and should be removed op said "Review:Nothing to say.. I really like your design Smiley.. Hope will have profitable with Coin Generator!"
No reasonable person will consider that as promotion, also, when did whywefight end up on DT? I've been away for a while

Cant believe we are leaving negative trust for people commenting on website designs
Maybe I'll get negative trust for using the internet

why the fuck do you guys at least dont even try to read??? for the 9023549023789427389478238947892374892738942893748923748927389472893748923789472 8937428937489237489273894723894719083901209471735072390579017590723905782307502 time:

THIS USER is NOT on Default Trust for fucks sake....

For everyone who posts this ALL THE TIME: it just makes you look stupid and proves: You dont even care to read. You dont even try to do research. You just go on with posting and crying like a baby.

*Rant mode off

This post was part of a running promotion of coin-gnt = advertising. the comment he left was just a one liner he did to get the bonus. he had to post something, this was the easiest he came up with.

The logic of your argument doesnt make any sense. You using the internet is no reason for others to loose money. even if they are new to the internt.

Are you promoting a ponzi?

If so, you know you are just stealing coins from members that join the scam after you, right?

No, my VOD. If join games of PONZI SITE, do we call PROMOTING PONZI SITE?. So "ALL" of member posting at this topic will be the same or i think give negative for who really RUN THIS PROMOTION(owner of this site, or PROMOTER)Smiley.. Could u saw the references?. I "DON'T PROMOTION IT", I "JOIN IT GAMES" on THIS TOPIC. This is not FAIRLY. Smiley. I think CLOSED PONZI TOPIC is usefull more than give all member comment at topic the NEGATIVE REPUTATION. tks u!
Reference to join there games: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1374876.msg14013558#msg14013558

=)) Do u think this is USEFULL FEEDBACK for bitcointalk member?

Yes i think it is a usefull feedback. If you review those (by klicking the reference) you will see those people are promoting ponzis. as stated multiple times before: promoting ponzis makes people untrustworthy in my eyes. Helping scammers to scam other people makes you a scammer. Thats my point of view. As far as i remeber the negative feedback option states:

Quote
Negative - You were scammed or you strongly believe that this person is a scammer.

By advertising and engageing others to join the ponzi you are scamming others. its obvious you have to get other people in, to get your own "investment" (LOL) back. Thats how those systems work. Even there is a warning at the section, people still fall for it and as soon as the ponzi stops paying they posting several pages "this is scam". orly??

Again, you can waste your money, i dont care, but i care if you try to get others in.

Yes most of my feedbacks are prewritten as i use them over and over again, for the same kind of people. Just because its not a message personally written for you, it doesnt make it wrong. If you find a feedback you want to discuss with me because you think its wrong, you are welcome to contact me.

PS: I dont get why people always tell me: "As a DT member you cant do this" i am not on DT. if i would be on DT my feedback or my pov would still be the same. the lack of understanding and propper research just makes me think one thing: i am right with my point of view about your actions.
611  Economy / Reputation / Re: You are welcome to tell me how much i suck! (including butthurt form report) on: March 19, 2016, 04:42:14 PM
i will appreciate who really catch our scammer Smiley.. If u want notice who will have negative trusted from your rules =)) Lmao.. U need to PM him before give negative reputation.. Smiley.. Lol..You will be lost many reputation because your working is not FAIRLY. Smiley i will catch your activity, my friend! Because of only u make me feel u are NOT TRUSTED as u HAVE TRUSTED

Thanks for your reply. As i have stated in my PM, you promoted coin-gnt (which is currently not paying as we told you guys for weeks, if i remember correct). As a higher ranked member you dragging other members, mostly but not only newbies in. I left you a feedback because you are promoting a ponzi, this makes you untrustworthy in my eyes.

I dont have to contact you before i leave a feedback. If you disagree with my feedback you can simply post here or contact me, which you did. Your revenge feedback is slightly wrong.

You are free to waste your money, but as stated before: i wont watch people get dragged into shit that steals their money.

EDIT: I am welcome to review all of my feedbacks and point out those that are wrong (for your pov) so i can review them.
612  Other / Meta / Re: TOS for the Digital goods section on: March 19, 2016, 05:01:36 AM
Another thing to note, the forums doesn't care about individual service TOS. For example, if you are selling an online game currency, but its against the game TOS, we don't care to uphold their TOS. That pretty much applies across the board.
This is something that has applied for a long time, many years even. However over the last several months, a select few people have been attempting to moderate (via trust) people that violate the TOS of a few companies, primarily Microsoft.

I personally think that people that "violate the TOS" of "whatever" are for the most part not hurting anyone, and generally speaking everyone is on the same page of the trade so I really don't see the reason to try to stop TOS violations.

td;lr: you are saying the cleansing of the DG ddint work while looking at it now compared to eight weeks ago shows something different.

Sorry QS somehow i respect you but saying "personally think that people that "violate the TOS" of "whatever" are for the most part not hurting anyone" is the worst comment i have ever read from you...

616  Local / Projektentwicklung / Re: Multisig möglichst einfach für Newbie machbar die traden wollen? on: March 19, 2016, 02:50:39 AM
moin sebastian,

ich hab das mal mit lutpin und electrum getestet ist eigentlich verdammt simpel. Die Anleitung hier http://docs.electrum.org/en/latest/multisig.html is recht gut.

618  Other / Meta / Re: this site is a joke and not evenb a funny one, sort your mods out, educate them on: March 18, 2016, 03:20:56 PM
yes your post is about hardware. No its not about bitcoin hardware.

If you really want your post posted in the hardware section go post on the litecoin forum. This is the bitcoin forum therefore we talk about bitcoin hardware not litecoin.

miners = hardware irrelevant of which algo a specific miner runs, they ALL require a PSU and from experience ALL have heat issues, therefore it is a broad coverage of modifying power feeds for all miners and belongs under hardware :/

thats what you think while the staff and the structure off boards says different: we are doomed, what now??
619  Other / Meta / Re: this site is a joke and not evenb a funny one, sort your mods out, educate them on: March 18, 2016, 01:56:04 PM

lord help us all, anybody with half a brain who wants info on a hardware problem would look under hardware boards :/ its not rocket science

if you would have 1/4 brain you would have hit the right section. ill leave you alone now. you are too almighty...
620  Other / Meta / Re: this site is a joke and not evenb a funny one, sort your mods out, educate them on: March 18, 2016, 01:50:18 PM
cryus moved the thread

@op

the model you choose doesnt mine btc thats why your topic is moved. its that simple.

it is irrelevant what it mines, all miners require PSU ALL miners, and from my own experience all miners have heat issues, like i just asked somebody else so you have a overheating problem with your miner, so you automatically go looking under altcoins for info to cure it, seriously, is this the mentality im dealing with here?

seriously: yes.

@CIYAM: yupp but op is to busy screaming at people
