601  Economy / Reputation / Re: LFC_bitcoin sending PMs to his friends to oppose flag and bribing DT inclusion on: July 27, 2020, 05:44:54 PM
Asking to oppose or support a flag is not a problem, be it a thread or a PM, as long as it doesn't break other rules - like spamming.
As you pointed above, there is a single thread of asking for supporting or opposing flags. That something good as a community. Community should be stand together to save the community member. I don't know what exactly LFC sent to some users but if he had sent PM to influence the flag, not as he said to look over, that's something not good. Anyway, I don't think a respected user like LFC could be spamming other inbox and try to influence them to oppose the flag.
Why not we make a request to share the PM by Bitcoingirl.club, @sidechain? I think you should PM him to share the PM if you think LFC was trying to censor anything here.
602  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some gamblers have been arrestes in Bangladesh for money laundering through bitc on: July 27, 2020, 05:31:43 PM
Just curious if how you convert your Bitcoin into the fiat since it is illegal in your country.
Personal contacts, community. You know I am here foe a long time now and I have built a good community. Many facebook users suggest me to other people if they look for BTC. Since I don't have to go first, I can deal easily and sometimes I got some unknown contacts too. That's what I'm fearing. I don't know whom I sold BTC.

Is making transactions in facebook the way you cash out your BTC in Bangladesh?
There are some websites too. I don't trust them. Most of the times, they make an exit scam when the deal is big. And you have no way to complain to the authority since you are playing with an illegal commodity.
603  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🧅 [ONION] Popular Privacy Coin with Real Use Case 🧅 DeepOnion LIMITED SUPPLY on: July 27, 2020, 03:44:41 PM
As a result, it would be possible to convert Dev and Bounty funds from ONION to WONION (of course with ratio 1:1) and lock them via smart contract in the near future.
Wouldn't that be possible with multiSig process same as time lock of bitcoin? I think it will be a bad idea to move on ERC20 as we have intended to be privacy coin. There are a lot of room to grow as a privacy coin in my opinion. Well, it's true that many investors would be interested if the fund wasn't in single control of the team directly.
604  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some gamblers have been arrestes in Bangladesh for money laundering through bitc on: July 27, 2020, 03:01:23 PM

You are just selling BTC to anyone interested. You are not an investigator on the people you sold BTC to. Just like a money exchanger accepting clients without necessarily investigating whether they are going to use it for crimes or not. How would you know?
I forgot to mention that BTC itself is illegal in our country which is the major reason of my fear. I sometimes sold BTC to unknown guy and that's what I'm fearing of. If it was legal, I would have nothing to fear at all.
605  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Some gamblers have been arrestes in Bangladesh for money laundering through btc on: July 27, 2020, 02:40:34 PM
Couple of days ago, a group of fraud from Bangladesh made around $250000 within 2 months through influncing people to gamble in their gambling sites/apps and later scam or something like that, have been arrested by police. From the amount they made, they had to sent a lot of funds to Ukraine where the leading people live. They used bitcoin to send the money. Police said they are investigating more to find everyone related to the gang and/or who have helped them directly or indirectly.
I sometimes sell BTC in local market through the help of some facebook group. I never felt that I am in risk but for the first time, it seems like we are actually risking ourself a lot of by selling BTC to unknown. What if they get a trace of ourself and link us with such transactions? Would we be also get punished? For your info, we had to use our mobile number to continue dealing.
606  Other / Archival / Re: [BIG LIST] Crypto Assets for Staking + Staking Providers !!! on: July 27, 2020, 02:31:14 PM
Thank you for creating this although these are available on different websites. However, can you share the process of score rating? I didn't see any explanation. In my opinion, there afe some other coins too which deserve to be listed here. Please share your score rating method so that people can evalaute the list and rating.
607  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Sportsbet.io (Withholding funds) on: July 27, 2020, 01:48:25 PM
I am not sure but I think one can not create two flag against same user in 6 months or something.

Yes, you are correct. Users can create flag on same user once in a 180 days period. But someone else with linking archived proof by creating a thread can create a new flag type if anyone feels the necessity.
These limits are in place:
 - Per 180 days, you can only give 1 flag of each type to a given user. So you can't give someone multiple written-contract-violation flags in 180 days, for example.
 - Globally, per year you can only create 1 flag per activity point you have, but at least 1/year.
608  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Sportsbet.io (Withholding funds) on: July 26, 2020, 02:57:53 PM

What is DT anyways ? And how did i even get in it
LFC has added you to their trust list and you have been promoted to DT2 member since LFC is a DT1 member. This thread may give you some more explanation- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5095156.0
609  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum : Its not too late on: July 26, 2020, 02:33:41 PM
It's too late in my opinion. It has already been changed over 30% within the week if I'm correct and having an entry is way more risky as at any point it may get dumped. BTC on rise too and if BTC falls, alts will follow too. I think we should wait more for an entry to ETH.
610  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Sportsbet.io (Withholding funds) on: July 26, 2020, 02:11:11 PM
None of these are DT members. Their votes are pretty much worthless. I wondered who that is, that's all. His vote affects was affecting the flag's status since he is was a DT member and I haven't seen him before.
I was surprised to see that guy DT and now OFF DT. May be LoyceV can who was playing with rohang DT and OFF DT? I have noticed that from other thread in reputation shared by marlboroza. When I checked the user, I learnr that he only sent that one feedback in his forum journey.
611  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Sportsbet.io (Withholding funds) on: July 26, 2020, 02:03:59 PM
Does anybody know who that guy is posting almost only in sportsbet.io threads and opposed the flag without saying a word?

rohang
And a random member guy who have sent ever first feedback in the forum (counter of a negative to sportsbet) have been promoted to DT member. On the other hand, me with 6 sent feedbacks yet to be a DT member.
612  Economy / Reputation / Re: Is This What is Called Professional? on: July 26, 2020, 01:34:50 PM
"Email addresses will be hidden, and won't be used for any spam / promotional actions. Emails are to verify users when comparing data with projects own data."
Have you contacted the campaign manager? If BountyDetective said that they will not make email list public, I think it was a mistake from their side. You can contact with them. It's of course not a good practise since for their mistake, the list may go to a lot of spammer.
However, I think you should use throwaway email for such purpose of activities. Why would you even use your regular email here?
613  Economy / Reputation / Re: What is the reason behind this silence? May be a find out. on: July 26, 2020, 01:30:22 PM
My experience with sportsbet.io is perfect by the time of this post, and I am sure that will continue to be like that.
Today it's neymarjr, other day it will be you, it will be me. I'm not talking about SB to be a scammer but what they are doing isn't good. Initially I agreed with their opinion but now it seems like things are going different. See the OP, what's happening actually? See the above reply of marlboroza. These are indicating something at least.
I have been a SB user but from now on I don't want to be there anymore unless this issue get solved.
614  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: elmanchez exit scam, loan default on: July 26, 2020, 01:18:45 PM
But we must say, elmanchez is a very clever person who knows how to manage people.
He was a clear feedback farmer from the beginning if I can remember correctly. The problem with us is we have way more of DT member these days and as a result it's easy for someone to gain positive feedback by impersonating a genuine guy which later they take advantage by scamming other people. We have seen such cases a lot of time but we are yet to learn.
Sorry OP, I didn't mean to hurt you. But that's the reality. The feedback these days almost mean nothing other than some random comments. You should have worked with collateral only loan. Hope you will recover the loss soon.
615  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Escrow is a must to avoid disappointment on: July 24, 2020, 02:20:09 PM
I just have seen that bitwings did the weird thing with the hunters. I used to know that they were a legit project but seems like they are not. It's really sad to see that hunters are being treated in such a way.
Escrow for bounty pool has been discussed couple of times before but most of the so called bounty managers will never follow that, that's for sure. On the other hand, hunters can avoid projects which don't use escrow bounty pool.
Bounty Detective is the only bounty manager using escrow, if many bounty managers start using escrow it will be better.
julerz12 also used to escrow bounty pool although he hs left managing campaign for a while.
616  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you going to keep quit about bitwings? on: July 24, 2020, 02:15:05 PM
I don't know what's wrong with bitwings, this is really weird that after promoting the project hunters have to go through this. They deserve to be paid while bitwings are removing them for weird reason like being inactive in the forum for a while. Did someone ask what's wrong with that as everyone has the right to be active or be inactive in the forum if they want. If hunters have done things properly, they should be paid. Otherwise, a flag should be created for the violation of written contract.
617  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best Bitcoin Wallet? on: July 24, 2020, 02:01:03 PM
Electrum of course without any doubt. Many would argue that bitcoin core is the best but electrum is go to WALLET for even grannies. I would recommend electrum to my grannies too.

The P2SH addresses are not truly segwit but a compatible address which can receive bitcoin from segwit, legacy and its own addresses.
Native segwit, nested segwit, legacy all of them are compatible for receiving and sending bitcoin to each other. Your post is kind of confusing, may be only to me. You said as if segwit can't receive btc from legacy and vice versa while it is not.
618  Other / Meta / Re: Moderator editing post and reducing image size? on: July 24, 2020, 10:20:56 AM
frodocooper has edited the post. I think you had posted images which made the thread less attractive which is why frodocooper edited or someone reported may be. I think it's not a big deal.
619  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Sportsbet.io (Withholding funds) on: July 23, 2020, 05:08:02 PM
Although it would be good approach to share some good clarification, it is not that good to share the strategy to detect multi accounting too. Cheaters may find a way to pass that strategy and continue multi accounting. However, the problem is casino never detects multi accounts when multi accounts created or deposit. All the times, when gamblers withdraw money, that's where casino starts the investigation. Before that if they keep losing or if they create couple of accounts, no investigation is made.
The problem should be solved. Gamblers should be passed verification in order to be eligible for gambling so that sites don't have to block account later but at the beginning.

1) When do you normally check if a user is multi-accounting ? (like as soon as an account is opened, when a withdrawal is requested, at first deposit, if there is some suspicion etc.)
620  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🧅 [ONION] Popular Privacy Coin with Real Use Case 🧅 DeepOnion LIMITED SUPPLY on: July 21, 2020, 06:02:47 PM
BTW, it would be useful if DeepOnion starts to look for some partnerships among DeFi projects. It would also match the decentralization philosophy of DeepOnion.
What kind of partnership you are talking about? Defi is so much different from a project like DeepOnion and there will no benefit for DeepOnion or the other side (Defi) if such project get partnered with each other. I think it's not necessary. Would appreciate if you share your exact thoughts.
It would rather be good to implement DeepOnion in couple of shops, restuarant etc like what one of the moderator (can not remember the name) is doing. If DeepOnion can be founded in couple of shops, that be good for creating some organic volume and will get some promotion too.
