It is a loud beast indeed! (the M20S 68Ths)

I've mined with all kinds of devices but this one was the first one
which made me startle a little during the startup. Cheesy

Here is a video:
https://mega.nz/#!UgcBhAoY!tXsJnCTid1zHgLzsrEzIoKBQR1u3gPuBGElo-gwaZ8Q

The numbers are looking great,
about 68Ths, 3.4kW

A further review will soon follow..

Hash board unit.
604  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: A921 Error 131073 (HUFAILED) on: June 13, 2019, 03:55:29 PM
Please see 'Table 4. CGMiner API Log error codes' in my troubleshooting guide.

Does cooling it down and rebooting it make the hash board units work ok again?

In worst case scenario those hash board units are broken because of the extreme temperature in your environment.
605  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Quiet [40 dB, 8 THs/500 W] Hotmine Convector Miner. Product Overview on: June 13, 2019, 03:03:56 PM
How does this reduce cost? Please explain as I don't understand how that works.

Maybe they are trying to raise the production quantity and thus reduce the price per unit?

Wow,
that's actually a very interesting idea.

Please do share the indiegogo when it is up Smiley

I don't mind the led show,
but maybe there could be a 'dark mode' as an option.
608  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Demo M20 v1 is on order due May 20th on: June 08, 2019, 09:11:58 AM

Looks like our testing and reviewing can begin quite soon.
609  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Demo M20 v1 is on order due May 20th on: June 07, 2019, 10:05:50 PM
So a 20 amp breaker will be good enough for this miner?

I was talking about the cable wire gauge.

Answer to your question is that, with 220V voltage, yep.
610  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Miner Avalon 741 Problem on: June 07, 2019, 12:39:29 PM
They (Canaan) do have a branch supporting the extra nonce,
I do remember seeing it. I do not have an url link to it.
I think it was made only for the 7 series and only one revision.

But the main branch which has the long time support, always uses the official cgminer branch.
611  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: My first Farm on: June 06, 2019, 09:52:42 AM
Wtf is 'Aladdin' suppose to be?   Huh

Sounds like a fishy scam company.
612  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: The Hotmine Convector-Miner. Development on the Clarke ASIC chips on: June 03, 2019, 01:38:06 PM
Cool,
the LEDs in the miner modules make a nice night time show Cheesy
613  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [Batch 1 IN STOCK!] TTBIT SCRYPT MINER 2 Official Order Thread on: June 01, 2019, 11:17:00 AM
You're really missing all the points made clear here.
I guess you don't have the knowledge to know what we mean.

And I can't believe you're actually defending the ttbit.
614  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: 220/240V North America power meter - DIY Under 60$ CAD on: May 31, 2019, 08:09:59 PM
Glad to help you guys,
maybe I should become a Wago salesman since it is this easy to get more sales. Grin
615  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: 220/240V North America power meter - DIY Under 60$ CAD on: May 31, 2019, 10:59:37 AM
Glad to hear Phil Smiley ,
and I would also use a enclosure with strain relief for the cables,
to cover and protect the connection junction.
616  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: 220/240V North America power meter - DIY Under 60$ CAD on: May 31, 2019, 09:23:17 AM
Omg,
is it still common in the US to use that kind of old fashion connectors
instead of for example the Wago 221 Series connectors?

Those old connectors are hazardous as hell..

Can you post a screenshot which shows your miner status page which shows the hash rate, temperatures, etc. ?
618  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Troubleshooting and repair guide for AvalonMiner models 721, 741, 761, 821 & 841 on: May 31, 2019, 04:42:47 AM
This sounds like you're trying to use the Rasp Pi 3B+.

There is an compatibility issue

Try to use the 3B (no plus) model.
619  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Fan S9 Help needed please on: May 30, 2019, 06:33:23 PM
The faulty fan could be dropping the voltage at your measure point if it keeps jamming totally/partially
620  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: (Review/Guide) WhatsMiner M3 11.5 Th/s, 2000W Bitcoin (SHA-256) ASIC miner on: May 30, 2019, 06:16:54 PM
@taktazsoft
There is a 'too hot' -feature in the firmware already.
