No one does We have really bad internet presence. Only once have I heard any mention of xc on a youtube crypto show. But most of the times when I read an article about anon coins and what they have to offer, it is about drk or cloak. Twitter has just a few (1-2) mentions per hour while cloak has a shitload. I really don't think many people outside of these forums know that xc already has a very good implementation of anon , possibly the best. There is only one or two articles on the internet about xc and they keep repeating themselves on all the sites. So we should all tweet, blog and even letting the darknet people on reddit know that we exist. Paying for exposure is great but to get the ball rolling we need to create o lot of awareness so that people will write about xc because they want to. To do this we first need to let everybody know that the only true anon coin is #Xcurrency. We have a plan and tics coming, first the tech needs to be ironed out. Ideal strategy in my opinion. I was thinking about that earlier and I'd like to know about that. Who decides on strategic moves as you move closer to the official launch? Also, how do you guys work as a team? Is it decentralized as your product?  Physical locations wise, yes. Communication wise, not yet. Basically everyone feedbacks on everything within the team. |

My opinion on this, is that if they want to use XC, that is fine, and is bound to happen (just like they use dollars, bitcoin, other mediums etc). To actively market to this group is a different story. We don't want to be associated with such things with trying to reach a broader base of consumers. I agree with pookie. XC is perfect for darknet markets and we should do some marketing over there. I tryed to bring up this discussion about a week ago but nobody seemed to care. If xc is not to be marketed as a perfect payment option for darnetmarkets then why anon? Why would anyone chose XC over bitcoin if all they want is to buy regular stuff? The most important feature of XC is anonimity, why not take advantage. I think its more about privacy, because the government has made it clear they can track your earnings and spendings through bitcoin. Anonymizing this hides you from the government and hides your asset. I do agree though that I think deepweb will adopt XC if it becomes successful before mass adoption takes place (people who don't know anything about cryptos) Of course it's bound to happen eventually but I don't think that any of our team members would be comfortable advertising there since it could land us in trouble real quick. You have to remember that our names are out there. |

Hello everybody  . I have been following XC's Xellent progress and have enjoyed reading this thread on a daily basis for more than a month now. I am a tiny fish, But most of my holdings are in XC. I have bought it at all price ranges and will continue to buy and hold. I have alot of respect for atcsecure and the dev team. You are Fantastic I have also grown verry fond of the community. However that being said, reading this thread this seems somewhat legitmate but Im currently on holiday so I dont have any funds that I could send right away which means that unfortunatly Im unable to help.

Is this a serious question?  It is a valid question. This price decline gives me bad vibes, just like it did with all other scam-coins that I bought. Always huge road-maps with large expectations, price boost then just decline to nothing. I would want much more updates from devs and what they are doing, they can't work in silent, then people won't believe that they are working, even if they delivered before. Because to gain trust they have to deliver in the beginning, and then they will sell premine etc etc. So start to give us the updates we deserve, and show that this is not just another scam-coin. I think that we have achieved enough to prove that we ate not a scam. The price question about price might be valid but your guess is as good as mine |

May just be me but I would like to see the updated roadmap, with the milestones that are met and the ones that are coming up as I don't feel 100% clear what has been delivered and where, ie testnet, mainnet etc etc..
And then also just a view as to what features / area is being worked on at the moment...

Im sorry for stupid question , but i want to tranfer my coins from MP to wallet , so should i download XCv0.9.2.40XCurrency-2.42.zip ? Is it version 2.42 or what? And then transfer coins from mintpal to wallet and i will get 3,33% from my coins in 1 year? If someone can explain, it would be nice, because i held my coins at mintpal and never had XC wallet thankyou very much. Yes what you have said is correct. there is a guide on the website that is easy to follow. http://www.xc-official.com/walletyes, i saw it, but should i do something more to get that 3,33% or only transfer XC coins to the wallet? When i get my first coins after transfering to wallet? should i hold my wallet open everytime when my computer is on? Transfer the XC to your wallet, open in it when your computer is on and it should be staking. I understand that people are worried about POS security but so far not a single dev has come outand said the exact issue. Im sure that of there is an issue Dan will fix it in an instance. Last time we had an issue with POS blocks taking long in the early days, the POS code was optimized within 24 hours.
