If you're going to use my shit, you may as well get it from me, not that bottom feeder. These are faster by a bit; I'll release Pitcairn in a little while to prove I'm the actual author, since Eliovp didn't have a bin for Pitcairn, nor up-to-date source to generate one.

https://ottrbutt.com/miner/wolf-x11Tahitigw64l8ku0.bin
https://ottrbutt.com/miner/wolf-x11Hawaiigw64l8ku0.bin

Same deal, use SGMiner 5 to generate a bin using worksize 64, then copy this bin over it with the same name.

My file name is darkcoin-modTahitigw64l4ku0, yours is l8, can I copy that l8 file?
622  Economy / Economics / Re: China will become Super Power ? on: November 28, 2014, 02:01:28 PM
think china have become super power already.

It is not military super power.

The higher GDP comes with a price. If you include the cost to clean up the pollution, the effective (beneficial) GDP is actually lower. People's quality of life is endangered by the contamination.

3. Someone else other than the CN devs is pulling #2. This was my first thought. Wink

4. This is the long awaited 'solution' to the bloatchain - instead of a few big ones, have dozens of smaller ones. No idea.

5. This is prep for a ScamNet style vapourware cross-chain multiphase paradigm warp topology telepod meta-CN 2.0 IPO/ICO/CFC/WTF. You know it's only a matter of time.

Monero is #2 in terms of coding at the moment, but it catches fast.
624  Economy / Economics / Re: Dollar coming to an end on: November 28, 2014, 01:49:40 PM

The working population within China is falling, this causes rises in their wages altering their ability to undercut other countries exports on low wages alone.   This might mean lower treasury debt holdings.   Naturally secondary developments and consequences occur,  I think these are the main reasons why dollar would fall.  Ultimately politics either foresees this change or fails under the strain of the inevitable

The retirement age for Chinese man is 60 and for woman is 55. It will be raised to 65 and old in the near future. So the working population will not decrease too much.

However, I think that there are scypt - n ASIC devices. I am paying electricity  only $ 0.06 (spring - autumn - summer) and $ 0.07 (winter). So I do not mining for some months. Are possible that there are GPU miners?Yes steal electricity or do not know what they are doing.

You can mine X11 at a profit just fine, at least often.
How much money a month I could earn with 1 ATI 7970 + 3 X ATI 7950 and which the pool is the best?

If you undervolt your cards, then it is profitable to mine X11 with your electricity price.

Is it totally implausible that agents of a Central Bank could be quietly buying BTC and systematically dumping at a loss at precise times in order to suppress price?

Net losses would be negligible for that type of entity and might easily be swept under the rug in a context of monetary expansion.

This is delusional thinking. BTC does not register enough for them to take all these trouble. In future maybe, but certainly not now.

The market capitalization of BTC is too small to bother.

It seems crypto note questions are not answered here.

Try to resync your wallet, by deleting wallet files and recreate from scratch with 25 words seed.

All is OK again. Thanks for the help.

I was using a deprecated version of the wallet.

Is there any way to stop bitmonerod eating soooooo! much memory?

The answer is no at the moment. New database which uses less memory will be issued later. You can increase the virtual memory for the time being.

Its  at one third of thousand. Buy on dips.

ay-ay Sir

tbh i only want out of the shitcoins at a profit. I'll leave this shit after that. My brain rots from looking at the charts.

If it hits 50$, it will be 0$
630  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: November 13, 2014, 01:56:04 PM
@lyth0s

I concur. A sustained BTC rally, plus well-timed DB and GUI release should herald a very merry xmas and a happy new year for XMR holders.

I concur.

How does changing the algo raise this coin's price? It will not have any effect on it, this coin has taken a 95%+ decline and it is almost dead in the water. I was all for this coin at the beginning but the decline it has taken is brutal.  Cry
It will change because i will buy hundred of thousands of coins. So don't worry, it WILL change Grin.

Maybe a bit exaggerated and not 100% true what i wrote above, but some of my friends also want to buy in and wait until the algo switches, because this also brings miners back to secure the network.

I hope you can find some usage for VTC. That will CHANGE it.
632  Economy / Economics / Re: How profitable is BTC daytrading? on: November 08, 2014, 03:13:07 PM
Over 90% day traders lose money in stock market.

When will there be an official gui wallet for windows?
never.....

Why do you say so?
6 months from the creation of the coin, no purse, weekly updates are delayed, if the work carried out on it, show us!

I think dev wants to release a good wallet.
634  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [BCN] Bytecoin. Secure, private, untraceable since 2012 on: November 06, 2014, 11:02:20 AM
Hello everyone,
I would like to invest in a bytecoin review how the minimum I need to have?

and that you have a realistic estimate of the future price bytecoin in the future, how far can it go up.

thank you for any information you can give me

If you are feeling wealthy you can always start with 1 BCN! :-) There is no minimum.

No-one can estimate the future price of any coin with any degree of accuracy or certainty. However BCN is the first of the Cryptonight coins and it has a strong team of developers.  Smiley

If you download the daemon and wallet you could soon mine many coins even with a low powered (you need a lot of memory tho') machine.

Most BCN has been mined. I wonder if the mining is sustainable in a year's time.

In a year time transaction fees will be used to make up a block reward. So even though the concept will be slightly changed, mining will still be profitable.

At the current price and transaction size, the fee is not enough. Hope there will be more BCN use/transactions in the near future.
635  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency (mandatory upgrade) on: November 05, 2014, 10:37:15 AM
what is happening?

http://chainradar.com/xmr/block/291081

why so low fees?

There is some miner running an old version of the node, so they will occasionally pick up transactions created with old versions of the wallet.

Are these miner using the old wallet? What is the old version of the node? If the transaction is created with new versions of the wallet, will this 0.01 fee happen with the miner using old node?

When you implement a new fee regime, do you need to hard fork can say that from  block height X, new fee should be applied?

Can they operate the pool server in another country and reside in US? Is that still be classified as US business? Can they close the pool  connection to US citizen?
637  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN PAYROLL IS NOW HERE on: November 04, 2014, 02:17:51 PM
That is good news. It would be even better if employee is paid BTC directly.

It is different this time. We have more usage/transactions of BTC. There are more innovations in altercoin.
