@Poramin, all of us waiting your answer

Hi silencesilence,

Lyra2 will come out soon, and Zerovert will change the algorithm to follow Vert as well. As you know that, Vertcoin team has made decisions that they don't want to implement Zerocoin at that time[1] because Vert doesn't want to be completely anonymous coin, but still maintain some privacy levels for users by become first coin that implemented Stealth Address. Zerovert will become a sidechain coin of Vert that focus on truly anonymity, which is our main goal.

So it could be the same team trying to add features to VTC chain

it`s great! merge mining with ZeroVert and VTC. awesome Smiley

if you see it as a sidechain than Vert is the first coin that implemented such services!

I've been meaning to set my rigs up again now that it's cooler out and merged mining some ZV sealed the deal.

Interested to see how it turns out.

Bought 1000 VTC today. It's a no-brainer to buy now, i think Smiley. New algo will bring a lot of people back.

How does changing the algo raise this coin's price? It will not have any effect on it, this coin has taken a 95%+ decline and it is almost dead in the water. I was all for this coin at the beginning but the decline it has taken is brutal.  Cry

It will change because i will buy hundred of thousands of coins. So don't worry, it WILL change Grin.

Maybe a bit exaggerated and not 100% true what i wrote above, but some of my friends also want to buy in and wait until the algo switches, because this also brings miners back to secure the network.

see what I wrote may be true or not ..... everyone has a head on his shoulders, and can determine whether to buy or sell

we are currently in a bear market

VTC from 1.00$ to 0.05$ = 95% down /Vertcoin is only a ~ 10 months old /

LTC from 45.00$ to 3.50$ = 92% down /Litecoin is only a ~ 36 months old /

BTC from 1000$ to 320$  - father of all currencies  Grin

Everything according to the rules of the game  Grin

Quote
Bear market

A bear market is a general decline in the stock market over a period of time.[7] It is a transition from high investor optimism to widespread investor fear and pessimism. According to The Vanguard Group, "While there’s no agreed-upon definition of a bear market, one generally accepted measure is a price decline of 20% or more over at least a two-month period."[8]
Examples

A bear market followed the Wall Street Crash of 1929 and erased 89% (from 386 to 40) of the Dow Jones Industrial Average's market capitalization by July 1932, marking the start of the Great Depression. After regaining nearly 50% of its losses, a longer bear market from 1937 to 1942 occurred in which the market was again cut in half. Another long-term bear market occurred from about 1973 to 1982, encompassing the 1970s energy crisis and the high unemployment of the early 1980s. Yet another bear market occurred between March 2000 and October 2002. The most recent examples occurred between October 2007 and March 2009, as a result of the financial crisis of 2007–08.

My advice is buy ... The VERTCOIN price at the moment is a good to entry

What historians say - history always repeats

As for price, Litecoin has spent much of the last 6 months between $0.05 and $0.10 on the crypto currency exchange btc-e.com
Potential Growing Pains
While I certainly see the recent growth and news in Litecoin as a positive I feel it prudent to point out that Litecoin may experience some volatility in the coming weeks and months. Litecoin is still much younger than Bitcoin, having been founded just one and a half years ago. However, the relatively low difficulty of Litecoin for much of the last year combined with what had been a smaller mining community means that some early miners may hold large concentrations of Litecoin. This is not unlike Bitcoin’s early days. If we’re to expect similar trends to arise, then Litecoin may see some selloffs of large amounts of Litecoin. If this were to happen, Litecoin is likely to see a considerable amount of short term volatility followed up by an eventual return to an equilibrium price.

now all GPU miners looking for an alternative and where to put their Mining RIG

VTC is at the very beginning and is moving in the right range, I'm sure that we close one year we will see a price of $ 10

Yes, it was brutal. But you should also have seen that an increase form ~0.10 to 10 $ in a few weeks is also brutal and not long term durable. It was a financial bubble. I'm really sorry for all the people who bought at this high rates and i can understand if they don't give it a second chance. But i do.

Edit: The rules are simple. Never invest more than you can afford to loose.

It was the first "hype bubble"... But there are so much people who still don`t know what cryptocurrency is. So if we get those people on the train we will see the next hype bubble. And then you need a good stake of different coins guys Wink So buy cheap with money you can loose and get richer (99%) Wink A lot of investors seem to wait what BitLicense will bring. What I heard till now is that it might be a good one. So after the release prices should rise and it will bring more security for all of us.
