Why is your BID always higher than your ASK? It's usually the other way round on exchanges.

Actually from one of the countries that the US brought "freedom" and "democracy" (means war and death) without having been asked for...
You are from Germany? From a country with a muslim majority (what a surprise! o.O)... You are from Germany 20 years in the future?

BTW People that ordered a mini-rig will make their money back in a few months even if the difficulty goes to 400 million, moron. Get a fucking clue.
No need for insults. After August it will be hard for every ASIC to be profitable. Whether it's a Jalapeno, a Single SC or a Mini Rig. And I doubt that the majority of BFL customers will have their miners by then.

And they have the stupidity to easily compensate for it. Which means: Max. 10 units per day.

Do any of you clowns that cry "51% attack!!!" actually have any idea how to do a 51% attack?
I don't need to know how to build a bomb to be afraid of terrorism... Let me have a guess: You are American?

Lets see, a 5GHs unit will do about 1 BTC every 3 days with the current difficulty, and they could probably make and sell one of the $274 units in minutes, which approach would you say was more profitable?
Most profitable? BFLs approach of course! Step 1 (mandatory): Sell unit Step 2 (optional): build unit Step 3 (unnecessary): ship unit

Which means, besides the Mini Rig Casings, BFL can also throw away all their Single and Little Single casings, PCBs, fans and heatsinks. Or maybe reuse a few of them for the "new" Jalapeno2.0.
Which means: More (of our pre order) money down the drain ...
Seems like Josh just confirmed my conjecture: BFL_Josh - "While I appreciate the sentiment and I would gladly act on it if I could, the simple fact of the matter is we can not ship anything but Jalapenos this week and next week. We simply do not have the boards and cases to ship anything but a Jalapeno. We aren't intentionally holding back Little Singles, Singles and Minirigs. The Jalapeno 5 GH/s miner is the only thing we have both the boards, chips and cases for at this time. We had to push all units up one level, so the mining device formerly known as the Jalapeno is now in the Little Single/Single case and the little Single/Single are moving to a larger home. The minirig is moving to a smaller home and will have less hashrate per unit, which also necessitates a case redesign and will use the new Single/Little Single boards as well, hence we have none at the moment.
The new Single case should be in tomorrow and the boards sometime next week, hopefully". https://forums.butterflylabs.com/bfl-forum-miscellaneous/2003-petition-get-butterfly-labs-attention.html#post26648

Of course I realise that "at some stage" may be too late, but I'm not going to be 'fucked' because its money I can 'write off' if needed, it was a gamble when I pre-ordered, and there is no point in taking a gamble if you can't deal with losing.
I'd call that Stockholm syndrome This "I did it just for fun" is often used by people that don't want to admit to themselves that they're fucked. Kind of sugarcoating reality ... btw: What about those that paid 30k$ for Mini Rigs? Was that also just a gamble?

Frizz23- I was honestly trying to ask a sincere question, just trying to understand what the real technical reasons are. You can see from my comment history I was away during the whole FPGA revolution. I know that's not your fault, it was my own.

I have no more idea of an expected delivery date, just a little more convinced that there will be be one at some stage.
It's because of people like you that BFL isn't belly up yet. You do realize that "at some stage" might be too late to even make your investment back? In August there will be an ASIC flood - if you receive your device after that, well, good luck then, but you'll be fucked.

Now you need to ask is when was the prototype made and why are they shipping "prototype standard" ASIC miners?
Imho they had the first working piece of ASIC hardware in late March 2013. Which leads to the questions: How can they ensure in September 2012 that they can meet the October 2012 shipping deadline? imho a blatant lie.

Great! They started to ship 10pcs / day.
They started shipping crap out because Paypal threatened them. Care to back that up with proof? Sure. We have begun shipping orders from 6/23 and a few that we are required to ship by PayPal.
(The reason I say boring, is that I will need to post for awhile that we are shipping orders from 6/23 since our customers flooded our order deck on that day.)

What does this even mean?
OK grandpa, I'll make it nice and simple for you. Look at this cake: MtGox gets 0.05% of this cake. How big do you think this piece was in May 2012. And how big in April 2013?
