6221  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: only 0.000149 btc on: September 07, 2017, 08:00:28 PM
Hello

in my wallet i have 0.000149 btc  Undecided what can i do with this amount, trading ? landing ?  Huh  Huh or what  ? it's not even  cover a transaction fee   Sad Undecided

Everyone saying that it won't even cover your transaction fee is actually wrong. You can enter custom amount of fee as you wish. You might need to wait a bit since you are  paying low. I did some testing by doing transactions with extremely small amount of fee (around 0.05$, which used to be the fee back then.) Took just 148 mins to confirm.

Did another with the same fee. Took 9mins.

This one was only 20 cent. Took 28mins.

Don't know why people are still complaining about fee though.
6222  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we already rich, gentleman? on: September 07, 2017, 07:53:22 PM
I keep on telling myself I will be rich soon Cheesy.  That was some months ago and still I keep on telling that to myself until now.  I could have been a few hundreds of dollar closer if only i am able to sell my holding at the right time.  Oh well, opportunity comes and go better not caught slacking or it will pass me by Smiley So long gentlemen, I need to stay on guard and watch for my opportunity to get rich and catch it!
To be honest in crypto world every moment is an opportunity. You just have to act right.  Invest today, you won't be regretting later. Missed it today, invest tomorrow.
Investing on ICO is the good option to invest your digital currencies but be selective to choose right ICO tokens which will provide the profit to you. I left my job last month and planning to invest on mining. I planning to buy the three antminer s9 or s7 and start towards it.
Quitting  your job isn't a wise thing to do. Mining won't be giving you any kind of stable income. Don't forget about the fluctuations.
6223  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What If Bitcoin is banned? on: September 06, 2017, 08:03:46 PM
What If Bitcoin is banned in your country will you still use it?

If you use it how will you? How will you exchange it and how will you completely use it as you do before.
I don't know why any free country would put a ban on bitcoin. But if you still use bitcoin to do transactions, it won't be an easy task for them to track you. You can also exchange it with other people anonymously. So i think you will be fine, but you shouldn't be breaking any laws.
6224  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin a good way to invest your money ? on: September 06, 2017, 06:49:58 PM
Savings in banks Deposits in banks Property investments, such as buying property (land and buildings) are then leased or resold after some time later. Gold investment, such as buying gold and then stored for the long term. May be useful in the long run. and produce a decent and satisfactory. or farming to buy sawan and gardening and planting fruits and vegetables is a very good investment. Although a little vulnerable to failure but it could not hurt to try.
Tons of people asking the same question every day. You could just use google or search the forum and you will get your answer. If you analyze and know how the bitcoins and the market works, you wouldn't be asking this question. Look at the market and you will know if it's profitable or not.
6225  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin or other coins on: September 06, 2017, 06:40:57 PM
what make bitcoin better and incomparable to the other cryptocoins  ?
Bitcoin always has its advantage as it was the first crypto currency that was made. Other crypto-currency = Alternative coins are coins which are not bitcoins. They came after bitcoin was made. Bitcoin has a huge community compared to other coins and active developers. Bitcoin can be also be used as a storage of value with a great security. We also see many merchants accepting bitcoins compared to other  alt coins.
6226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Doge is Dead? on: September 06, 2017, 06:19:40 PM
Former state = a joke state. Doge coin started as a joke. Was created by developers based on a dog(meme) and they themselves did not expect the coin to survive for this long. The coin won't be dying anytime soon. They have  a very active community right now. The price won't be going anywhere to the moon though. Look at the market supply and remember it has a limitless supply.
Coin is usually used for tipping on different forums.
6227  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Share Bitcoin Accepted here Stories on: September 06, 2017, 06:10:45 PM
Recently, I came across this video from BloombergQuint. They have covered the story of Indian restaurant accepting Bitcoins. In India, the user base is growing at an impressive rate but the number of merchants is not increasing according to the user base. Such stories are inspiring for other merchants around the world to start accepting Bitcoin.

* Grab a bite and pay with Bitcoins at this Bengaluru restaurant..

Do share if you heard, read or watched any such story. I am sure in the coming years we would have exponential growth in the merchants supporting Bitcoin as a payment method.
Glad to see restaurants accepting bitcoin as a form of payment. We might be hearing more stories about different merchants accepting bitcoin soon. Other restaurants might get inspired from here  Smiley
You should spread the words too. Let your local restaurants know about the huge advantage of bitcoins and other crypto-currency.
6228  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I made my first purchase of bitcoin. too little too late :( on: September 05, 2017, 05:06:37 PM

I guess I am too late to the train but I made a small purchase of a fraction of bitcoin lol. I am not rich by any means. Hope this is a good decision lol Wish me luck. Where do you think BTC will be in next 2-4 years?
Trust me it's never too late start investing on bitcoin. You fraction of coins will still get you huge profits in the future. Can't predict what the price will be in 2-4 years, but as long as everything goes fine, the price will be more than you today.
Right now the price is on dip, so you better buy more. Keep on buying fractions and you won't be regretting in the future. Smiley
6229  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you keep buying? on: September 05, 2017, 04:46:44 PM
I am currently adding more to my coins by trading and from time to time i do  buys some when there is a price drop. I trade alt coins and turn those profits to bitcoin.
I end up holding 80% of my BTC. Have to intention of using them right now  Smiley
6230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How many cryptocurrencies should exist? on: September 04, 2017, 06:43:15 PM
We currently may find over 900 active cryptocurrencies and the number is growing. I assume that this is not so good because the limited number will give the more transparent exchange and transaction terms - for example, 10 or 20.
What do you think - the number of cryptocurrencies should be limited or the market should be completely free and the strongest ones will survive?
The market should be completely free and only the strongest "will" survive. Look at the market and you will understand. You will new coins popup every month and they end up dying eventually since they do not have any potential.
6231  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading for newbie on: September 02, 2017, 06:43:01 AM
I'm new in trader ! Any lesson or tips can you guys show me ! Bitcoin is increasing ! People told me to trade is the only way to make fast bitcoin ! Please help
As a new trader you should learn about the market first. You should learn about the coins you will be investing on and the potential of it. Keep yourself updated about the coins as it has a huge influence on the market.
Trading is actually a good way to get some bitcoins but is filled with risks!
6232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin trading with low budget on: September 01, 2017, 09:50:45 PM
Hello, It's my first steps in Crypto World. Great Community, read a lot of useful stuff.
I want to start investing in currencies/assets.
At this time I'm low on budget, can invest max $400-500.
So investing in top currencies is not worth I think.
Which would be better to research solid cryptocurrency that already exists or invest this money into ICO-s (I know risk are high when we are talking about ICO)?
Or wait till I raise my funds like 1k or more.
I know on this budget long-term is a little stupid, so which will be better for the short-term period.
I have researched some of the projects , that I think is worth to invest. BAT, OMG, LISK, NEO.
Any advice will be helpful. Thanks in advance
You should start investing as much as you can afford. You don't need to be buying 1 whole coin to start making profits. Invest on smaller fractions of coins which have good potential. Don't forget about opportunity cost. You will be missing out the potential gain if you wait to raise your funds to 1k.
Also beaware of users who will encourage you to invest on some shit coins. They are from pump/dump groups wanting to make some quick profit.
6233  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Receiving payment in PayTm for selling bitcoin . Is it SAFE ? on: September 01, 2017, 09:42:53 PM
PayTm is really safe if youre an idiot.
Lol? So you have to be an idiot to use PayTm safely? I don't what PayTm  is  but i think you are being sarcastic here.
More, it is fast. And for everyone that is crying about reversible payments. Everything is reversible with a court order
If their terms of service says that their payments are not reversible, then the payments will not be reversible even under a court order. Users agreed to their ToS before enjoying their service so the court will have no power here (there are some exceptional cases where a third party is involved and had no relation with the service).
6234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When to dump shitcoin? on: September 01, 2017, 09:20:34 PM
I put some $ into a coin a couple of months ago. And since then it's gone down a lot and stayed down. A deadline for a project update was recently met and advertised but the coin didn't even bump up. If I got out now I would lose about 20% of my initial investment.

How do you decide when it's time to dump a coin for a loss? I don't need the money but i see these other coins going up and i keep thinking about the opportunity cost of having my $ sitting in the shitcoin.
If it is actually a shitcoin then dump it as soon as possible. Try to avoid investing on those shitcoins as most of them tends to be just   pump/dump scam coins without any potential, which usually ends up dying. There are even pump/dump groups where they encourage people to buy those coins. You will find them on trollbox, this forum and everywhere.
6235  Economy / Economics / Re: Which country would be the first to eliminate fiat and convert to crypto fully? on: September 01, 2017, 09:15:35 PM
Your point makes sense. Poor countries can take this step to stabilize their economy by making bitcoins a national currency without eliminating their fiat. The total elimination of fiat is only possible in the developed countries where everyone has access to internet because without that, there is no use of having crypto currencies.
You really think poor countries will be able to eliminate fiat and make bitcoin their mainstream currency? First of all "poor countries" lack technological development. I don't even think they will know what bitcoin is. They must have access to internet 24/7, do you think people from "poor country" will be able to afford access to the internet? Keep that in mind that most "poor country" are facing this misery just because of their corrupted government. And do you think a corrupt government would like bitcoins?
6236  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the best coin to buy today? on: September 01, 2017, 07:53:40 PM
Bitcoin is the best one to buy. Its still not too late. You can buy fractions of it and store them for a long term to make more some good profit. Buy as much as you can afford.  Smiley
For alt coins you can try ETC, LTC or Monero. Before investing on other coins make sure you know about them and try to avoid scam coins which are there just for pumping and dumping.
6237  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: ETC or BCH gambling site on: September 01, 2017, 03:20:18 PM
Want to ask is there any ETC and BCH gambling site? There are so many site opened but most of them are crypto that already on sky high, like doge, ltc and others. ETC and BCH sure worth to gamble with, if anyone know please mentioned it here with some link if you guys need to or their thread will do
Doge isn't very high, so you can try doge coins. I am not sure if any casino accepts ETC or BCH right now, but you can try crypto-games.net. They accept multiple coins and also has a builtin exchange where you can exchange between those coins they accept. They recently added stratis coin, which isn't very expensive.  Smiley
6238  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to convert crypto to Cash? on: September 01, 2017, 03:06:08 PM
Best way to convert your coins to fiat/cash is to use localbitcoins. You can use coinbase too but i don't prefer coinbase.
You can also try other third part services where they offer plastic debit cards, which can be used on any ATM to cashout worldwide.
6239  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin a good way to invest your money ? on: August 31, 2017, 08:39:09 PM
I heard that bitcoin is a good investment for making a huge profit in the future , is that right ? Because i want to buy some bitcoin in these days .
Yes bitcoin is very good for investment. But bitcoin investment is very risky.you have to take risk.Than you can make good interest. You have to know lot of experience about investment.Than you can Start investment.

It is only filled with risks, if you are a day trader. Trading in short term to make quick profit, might make you suffer loss due to sudden fall of the price. But if you are holding for a long term, the risk of making loss is actually minimum. Keep that in mind that the price of bitcoin is going upwards each year, so you eventually do make profit. You just have to trust the market and keep holding.
6240  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin vs Taxes on: August 31, 2017, 08:31:07 PM
Bitcoin was created as an anonymous uncontrolled currency, and taxes would deprive it of such an opportunity. I think that you do not need to pay taxes for using crypto-currencies.
Does not matter if it is an anonymous currency, as long as you are making money, as a law abiding citizen you must be paying taxes.
By the way, bitcoin is not completely anonymous, it is more like pseudo anonymous. Google about it and you will know what i am saying.
