I'm glad to hear you will be back online. From what I have just read, it looks like #SPON is being forced on us by the FTC, not by twitter. I wish the FTC would allow people to tweet whatever they please.

Between my normal work, and interesting Bitcoin side projects, I don't have time to complete and run http://cc2bitcoin.com Just about all the work has been done for it to be up and running. I'm happy to give it to anyone who has the resources and willingness to run it. Ideally it will be someone in Europe. The US doesn't have much need for this kind of service because anyone can buy Bitcoins for cash using bitinstant.comAll that is needed is: 1. A Paypal account 2. A CC merchant account. 3. Enough Bitcoins to buy and hold Casascius coins for inventory. 4. Time to process ship the orders. You will need to watch out for fraudulent orders, but I haven't had a single one slip by yet. I'm happy to provide ongoing advice as well. With the premium people are willing to pay for the physical coins, there is decent money to be made. contact roger@memorydealers.com if you are interested in this.

Since they are not shutting down, please change the thread title. There is no reason to cause unneeded alarm.

I think ThinkGeek is a decent enough target, though I don't like helping Memory Dealers competition Memory Dealers is great, but we don't need monopoly protection. Thank you guys for the kind words, but I don't want or need any kind of special help. The more electronics businesses that accept Bitcoin, the better. I personally know memoryx.net's owner is interested in Bitcoins. MemoryX is a much bigger company than MemoryDealers, and they carry a product line that the general public will be much more interested in. If they have something that you actually want to buy, feel free to contact them and let them know that you would like to buy it with Bitcoin.

I would like Zhou to be asked: "Do you have any philosophical reasons for being involved with Bitcoins?"

I personally know the owner of this site and will vouch for his integrity. You can feel safe dealing with him, and ogrr.com

I own the domain name bitcoin.co.kr
Is anyone interested in helping me translate bitcoin.org into Korean? I will pay for all the web hosting and every other expense.
Koreans should love Bitcoin once they find out about it.

Hi, Would anyone here be interested in translating MultiBit into Japanese ? As Japan is the world's capital of QR codes I would like to offer it in Japanese too. We have set it up on our translation website ( http://translate.multibit.org ) so it is all ready to go. It takes about an evening to translate the source text. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Jim I just did part of it. I will try to get the rest completed by someone soon.

Roger, that's plain wrong... People are not avoiding taxes, they are just paying them to another country, in this case it's to Moldavia. I suppose I should have used the word "minimize"

I can't believe I didn't hear about this sooner! Can people who have actually placed an order comment on their experience here? Did they receive the promised cigarettes in a timely manner? BitcoinCigarettes, Would you mind if I advertised your service on a national radio program in the United states. I suspect it would bring a lot of business to you. www.freetalklive.com

As some forum members know, you can now withdraw funds via Paypal from www.bitinstant.comPaypal currently charges 3% to transfer from one paypal account to another. The Bitinstant and Paypal COMBINED charges are 3.29% to 3.99% for withdrawals from MTGOX codes. This is only 0.29% to 0.99% more than what the standard Paypal transfer fee would be. The problem is that users are confused into thinking that the fee will be 3.29% PLUS Paypals normal fee of 3% for a combined fee of over 6% This is not the case, but we need a clear way to convey this information to our users. Please give us your thoughts on how we can make it clear that the TOTAL FEE from both Bitinstant AND Paypal is only 3.29% (Just 0.29% more than what a normal Paypal transfer would be) Please see www.bitinstant.com for our current site and let us know what should be changed. Thank you all!

Well the Paypal itself is also a second class citizen. Often, Paypal -> Paypal has a 2.9% fee.
Paypal -> Paypal is actually a 4% fee for international transactions, and they charge 2.5% on the currency exchange rate too!

10 BTC sent.
I'm ready to send plenty more as soon as we start having the charities lining up to accept the Bitcoins.

I have the private key from Rassah.
I will let Rassah take care of everything, but will step in if needed.
I'm glad to be part of this great idea!

Erik, You forgot to mention that you could have done all of this anonymously! That way, if Newt is elected president, he won't know who to toss in jail for starting all those tweets.
