641  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for July on: July 01, 2023, 08:39:10 PM
I guess sideways, it's hard to know whether we can continue the momentum or not but it seems that there's still doubt. If the cause of the pump was because of BlackRock filing for a spot Bitcoin ETF then I think it should have to be the same news that will drive market to a new heights. In the short term or for July I think we really got to be sideways.
642  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin Cash is pumping, why? on: July 01, 2023, 07:23:56 PM
Because it's the only coin that will be traded on the EDX market that is cheap other than Litecoin so it created a FOMO in the market. I think it wasn't the TUSD printer that fueling up BCH but I think there's something more on that story about that TUSD being minted and it's still a developing story.
643  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 01, 2023, 01:09:38 PM
I am a Mavericks fan and a Doncic fan so I just don't want his years to be wasted. Everything Kyrie Irving touches is cursed. I wish it will not be the same this time.
I understand the sentiment, but you also have to understand that the Mavericks are currently conducting an experiment. They know that if Luka alone continues to lead the team, they will not reach their goal. Therefore, signing Irving is really a big risk, but the guy has the talent and has won a championship. So maybe this time, with his new team, it will work. Many fans have been disappointed with Irving, but the Mavericks are in the business for so long, so I believe they know more about what Irving could bring to the team.
If Luka can get them another ring then he should have done it before when they defeated that Phoenix team having him smiling at every shot but Warriors got them. I think that was the time he has a shot for a ring, I don't know about the curse but I think they have to kill the witch then that cursed him so it would die along with her. I think the management shows potential on the duo and they can still work it out, a single year shouldn't be treated as it will continue over and over, it can be worked out, it should be.
644  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: turn $40,000 into $4,000,000 with me (Record 1-0) | $60,400 on: July 01, 2023, 05:43:36 AM
if I see everything that OP is doing is not showing off or any other purpose but OP is a gambler who has the motivation to get big wins to be recorded here to let everyone know that he is a professional gambler in sports betting.
I guess that it is his goal and he has something to prove or be proud of in his journey. I think he can make it and we can witness this history in this forum, I'm just waiting he might make some giveaway lol. I guess he's already a millionaire but was just making some bets that will may prove that it's possible with the right picks.
645  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best NFT marketplaces? on: June 30, 2023, 06:32:13 PM
Besides OpenSea and Rarible, do you know of any other NFT marketplaces that are worth exploring? I'm looking for a place where I could find quality NFTs that are worth the long-term investment. ETH-based marketplaces would be fine, as long as there nothing Solana-based. Any suggestions and/or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Smiley
Blur is new but going up in volume, I think it's became popular with the chance of an airdrop so I think the volume is being manipulated so take caution on how you will interact with them. I'm not that an expert especially when it comes to long term investment's but I think it's worth a shot for Blur to be the best when it comes to nft trading.
646  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The price dropping, any reason the huge dump? on: June 30, 2023, 05:32:19 PM
An opportunity strike once again, I think this dump will be good for accumulation, it's probably that SEC is stirring things up once again. As far as I understood it's not that new to spot ETFs and the headline doesn't seems to be that alarming tbh, it's just the market reacts without scanning the whole context.
647  Economy / Gambling / Re: 😺 RollCat.io 🚀 Provably Fair 🔒 Crazy Multipliers 🎰 Free Hourly Coins 💰 on: June 30, 2023, 03:49:50 PM
Looks like it rings a bell when I see the title of the thread and to be honest it's quiet impressive to have such userbase already, so you aren't new in the space then? I think you should upgrade your choice of front-end because for me it's something that isn't catching on the eye. By the way, welcome to the forum.
648  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Let's find out which gambling game is the most played among our community... on: June 30, 2023, 09:48:03 AM
The past days was always been with either sports betting and with slots nonetheless and I love them both but not spending more time with the latter considering it's easy to lose my balance. I really like sports betting, the odds and the likeliness to have good strategy could really meet if you knew what you're betting to (team, player/s, etc.)
649  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 29, 2023, 09:58:08 PM
Interesting reports today saying that despite attempts there is apparently no market for James Harden and Kyrie Irving. Kyrie is seemingly still worthy of his contract, but only if he actually plays, which he spends more time destroying his own team in the locker room than other teams on the court. Harden I assume is just making too much money for the drop off he’s seeing at his age. Still, interesting.
What? I think they are still a decent players but with their performances really dropping and being like a butterfly in the league it's really not going well for both of them. I still think that there are teams that may get them or how about they pair one of them with Wemby, it may sound a bad trade but it's likely worth it imo.
651  Economy / Gambling / Re: Looking for Website Recommendations on: June 29, 2023, 01:45:55 PM
Looking for websites to move my referral program to, from bcgame. I have a very successful campaign on stake and bcgame with 6 figure earnings, but bcgame has nerfed my affiliate % from 35 to 9.8. If any website has a better affiliate program and can offer some sort of welcome bonus for my high roller referrals on sign up, please let me know. Would be highly appreciated.
You may try Rollbit as well, it may not that great as 35% but it's good to have 10% than never but I think Rollbit will remain in this industry for a longer time and that's the best one. It can level up to 20% if you partner with them afaik on their Partnership program. I know there are lots of casinos to choose from and may have even greater percentage but in this thriving industry having just one source isn't sometimes the best. Keep your reach large in area.
652  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why most premined coins (>90% of all altcoins) will eventually fail on: June 28, 2023, 09:59:37 PM
And, so if an anonymous person/group make another bitcoin-like system again, it would not fail?
There were also lots of non-premined currencies which failed - your example is actually quite good, there is the 1:1 Bitcoin clone Bytecoin from 2014, today worth ... nothing. However, there was often a difference: these currencies were also never really hyped. So there weren't losses as big as they are possible with premined currencies. And if there is a community takeover, with non-premined coins the success probability is higher than with premined ones (as I wrote in the OP).
The thing with community takeover is either the community has already lost a fortune and just trying to revive it for the sake that it should not let the project die or the technology or the community want to brinh it back to where level they probably bought it. Hype is definitely a factor and Bitcoin during that day is not new afaik but it exceeded more features than the what has been proposed. So, even if we make another bitcoin-like system, it will not create a hype as it should be considering there are lots of it in the market already that may have the same feature. Thanks for the answer and that great thread of yours, I will surely look at that.
653  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino on a cruise ship? on: June 28, 2023, 09:22:54 PM
Has anyone here had the opportunity to try out the casino on a cruise ship? I've heard many stories about them, and I'm curious to learn about the similarities and differences compared to land-based casinos. I'm particularly interested in hearing from someone who has firsthand experience playing in a cruise ship casino.

Specifically, I would like to know:

Operating Hours: Do cruise ship casinos operate 24/7 like their land-based counterparts?
Payouts: Are the payout rates comparable to land-based casinos?
Betting Limits: What are the minimum betting limits? I know that some land-based casinos start at $20.
Game Variety: Can I find the same range of games offered in land-based casinos on cruise ships?
Maybe when Bitcoin goes to a million, I would really love to try that but for now that I can just barely make ends meet, not yet. I don't think they can operate 24/7 considering most of those who will just play out there are in the same day/night unless they are employee that has their own shifts, it can't be operated 24/7. For game variety I think it may cater same ranges of ships if a cruise ship is too huge.
654  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ads for online gambling should be banned. on: June 28, 2023, 08:53:18 PM
If this should be implemented will it affect bitcointalk casinos? As we all know most established and new casinos come to bitcointalk to launch their ANN thread and carry out signature promotion campaigns which can be regarded as ads in a sense. If ads should be banned will their promotion in Bitcointalk also end?
First, there are no bitcointalk casinos maybe you're referring to casinos that are giving ads here and I don't think they'll go after here, this isn't on their respective zone to impose their rules. This is a free speech forum and they wouldn't surely dare to have their laws be carried out here. It's only on Australia and as far as I can understand it may just affect whoever are in Australia, I think it's just the social media platforms.
655  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why most premined coins (>90% of all altcoins) will eventually fail on: June 28, 2023, 01:27:11 PM
I wonder what are those 2k cryptocurrency projects out there that will not fail considering CMC reports says it has 22k out there. And, so if an anonymous person/group make another bitcoin-like system again, it would not fail? I think premine isn't bad as long as it's not distributed in a corrupt manner, if the project has utility and keeps on innovating I don't think they'll be gone in just a decade. For sure the crypto space will grow and there's a lot more to cater for.
656  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Silliman University College of Law Professor Launch Platform To Educate Bitcoin on: June 28, 2023, 10:58:11 AM

Just my opinion.

658  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Top Five Reasons Sports Bettors Are Attracted to eSports on: June 27, 2023, 01:39:47 PM
How about the disadvantages? I think it's more prone to match fixing as far as I know compare to traditional sports as well, it may be new but the people who use to bet on eSports event are not. I think traditional sports betting will not be that boring even in the coming decades, I think it may grow considering there are really disadvantages of it and one reason my be by just staying on that seat for longer hours, it's bad on one's health.
659  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The fight between Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk. Who you betting on? on: June 27, 2023, 10:47:02 AM
Lol this fight isn't going to happen, a cage fight for that matter!!

Probably this was some kind of figure of speech that was misinterpreted for its literal meaning...but if they will have to fight it will be a tech fight not some mixed martial arts UFC style...

But then again after seeing that Dana White white interview were he confirmed both Billionaires subscribing for this fight, there is a possibility that this will happen.
Hoping it wouldn't be on the mataverse. I would like to see this fight, it's one in a lifetime that rich guys like Musk and Zuckerberg will bout in a match. If Dana White hinted it and he's sharing it across his social media then I think it will happen, he even got a t-shirt of the upcoming fight. I'm with Mark here considering he's still more agile than Musk.
Reports has it that it wasn't as serious as people has taken the news. It's a fight that's not ever gonna happen in because these two billionaires wouldn't go in to the boxing ring just to show what everyone already knows which is who's more influential between them.
However, if for any reason such fight finally happens, then we all should be pretty sure that Ekon Musk will definitely beat Mark Zukerberg.
Well, there's nothing wrong if they show the world that they are just nerds out there trying to make vast fortunes. I know it's kind of senseless and trying to impress the crowd over a fight isn't their thing. I think this isn't just a fight to show who's more influential but it's likely their egos have met in between and they might want to test it.
