641  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: (DEFI) YAM! YAM! YAM! a scam? on: August 13, 2020, 08:45:29 PM
Careful mate, DeFi projects are already going  down highway, please trend with your funds carefully. It happened back in 2017 and about to repeat itself 2020, don't always embrace projects with the name DeFi because scammers have already be involved. Do more of your own research into any digital currency project before make your hard earned money available for investment. At the movement, I don't trust the name DeFi again because I was taught a bigger lesson in the June 2020.
642  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Indian banks freezing bank accounts AGAIN ! on: August 13, 2020, 08:32:26 PM
Any government can authorize any of her institutional arms to act according to the laws of the land, India government had since be against suspicious financial movement and this won't change in time to come. Ensuring the citizens are protected and the government can be trace to this move by India Banks.

Here in Nigeria, you're put on check when it come to financial transactions according to MLM act. This is normal to any government to flag any suspension transactions, so, those without any won't be flag. I was flagged by First Bank PLC but careful explanation gave me scale through and funds were released.
643  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trader made 89% profit in minutes. Have anyone experienced it..? on: August 13, 2020, 07:57:20 PM
There are levels; when talking about trade, this type of trade isn't common to the cryptocurrency market even though there have been records about traders make huge gains from their single trade. Share this information should be an educational purpose than instigation of newborn traders to give a try.

Believe me, nobody around this place have experienced this overtime but though taking profits base on their level of trade. I talking, do take profit base on my ability: just took profit from ARPACHAIN trade some few hours ago on Binance exchange(9%).
644  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Importance of Bitcoin during the Pandemic on: August 13, 2020, 07:40:17 PM
The most importantly about Bitcoin during the pandemic is the upholding value of it be an assets to those who believed in it. During this novel coronavirus pandemic, many fiats currencies where devalued and many still be devaluing, so, having this assets called Bitcoin was a savior to my countrymen.

The Naira(Nigeria currency) was devalued several times but never affected my living and that of my families. Bitcoin was a valuable asset to me during this pandemic and haven't regretted getten involve in this course.
645  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do some people stop their crypto project? on: August 09, 2020, 09:04:41 PM
Most of the failures came from Blockchain social and project market coordination issues. This has really affected thousands of cryptocurrency projects in my opinion. Also, unserious project team can lead to failure of cryptocurrency projects, some of the projects ongoing today collapsed because of the team behind the projects. Financial constraints can also get a potential cryptocurrency projects down it knees, some good projects had experienced this overtime from 2017 till date.
646  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Las Vegas Casinos Scared of Lawsuits on: August 09, 2020, 12:43:46 PM
I don't think it will win in any court because the virus is everywhere and it's invisible the accuser will have a hard time proving that he really gets the CoVid in the facility, they could have got it in their homes in while travelling while in the market or while in the street it's hard to established the fact on this case but I don't like casinos open at this point of time people should only stay home and restrict their moves.
A lot of countries already managed to pin point the location of a contamination source. It might not be very difficult to prove that a certain place contaminated it's users.
Of course, the gambling casino can be scan for potential virus and if eventually found that any of these gamblers where effected in the casinos, then the lawsuit will be establish. Dangerous spots around certain areas are well known to the agency responsible as hot spot for the virus, and if the gambling casino areas are verify to be dangerous zones for this virus then there will surely be a lawsuit against these Las Vegas gambling casinos.

If due protocols where observed before now there won't be any reason to be scared of any gambler initiating lawsuit against them. Humans lives matters.
647  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: It's ok if your profits are less on: August 09, 2020, 12:15:40 PM
A journey of a thousand mile starts with a step, so, also profit taking when it come to cryptocurrency. There is knowledge in taking the less profit than to get the loss in parties. Profit less taking still the best method to survive in this cryptosystem, those little profits taking can equally turn to a bigger profits with time.

TBH, most of my trade profits are bench in 4%-8% and if convince about the said trade then 10% - 15%. This has been working for me without any regret, reuse of these little profits gave me the best I could have ever imagine.
648  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investment plan on: August 09, 2020, 11:50:14 AM
Bitcoin and Ether are the cryptos of my preference to invest. I also think that they are the most popular for everyone. If anyone wants to learn about the crypto space these are the first currencies they should know first. I started with these two coins, I have a token based on EOS that I only hold waiting for its maturity.
Despite Bitcoin and Ethereum be the most genuinely welcomed cryptocurrency in the cryptospace, they have been tested and trusted among millions of crypto enthusiasts. Bitcoin is the best cryptocurrency coin to hold as a newborn to the industry and if there is another is ethereum: which had equally proved itself worthy among others. Many other cryptocurrency coins are just for dumping groups which can actually lead to waste of investment if mistakenly enter into. IMO, investment into Bitcoin and Ethereum is the best among all other options in the cryptospace.

Though, life is  more better with Bitcoin than the altcoins  Grin cheers.
<snip>
I go like get some curio, sheng, Terracredit, Etn, cartesi.
Altcoins gud my broda but d ability to manage their volatility na em be the issue. For this koko we dey in cryptocurrency, the easiest way for anyone to make cool money is through altcoins, especially the undervalue ones. Those altcoins you just mentioned are good but won't advise you or others to use their 60% capital for purchase. Currently, am spending my 40% capital in the purchase of undervalue coins right now, portfolios management is more profitable.
650  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What makes a good bettor? on: August 08, 2020, 04:54:33 PM
What makes a good bettor?
A good bettor should be such that evaluate the overall value and determine whether the risk is worth taking. Also, a good bettor should be such that will understand values in taking decisions irrespective of the sport s/he prefer to participate. Personally, whenever I choose to bet games of any kind, the first that came across mind is getting the needed information from such sport before make my final decision. History can be a good means to get insight which can help in success during decision making.
651  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Las Vegas Casinos Scared of Lawsuits on: August 08, 2020, 03:20:31 PM
Over here in the capital City of Abuja FCT, the government had done the same to some irresponsible gambling casinos because they don't strictly obey the given protocols from the NCDC. The task force enforced the closure of some selected gambling casinos to avert the spread of the novel pandemic in the region and country.

The Las Vegas casinos scared of lawsuits is a clear indication of their irresponsibility. No need to be afraid of any sort because the government had already given the green night for the resumption of the casinos, their fears came from their irresponsibility, so, they should face it squarely.
652  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos Withdrawal Fees Rise | August 2020 🔥 on: August 08, 2020, 03:06:33 PM
This has been seen whenever the price of Bitcoin rise, so, no gambler should be shock when seeing this happening. As a gambler, gambling with Bitcoin has taught me several lessons from the beginning and have learned much. Most of my gambling platforms are those with options of altcoins and not just solely on Bitcoin only. Bitcoin rise always come alongside with different challenges which mostly affect it fees hugely.

The only way to avoid this bitcoin fees spike in the coming weeks and months is taking the appropriate decision now to change to gambling casinos platforms that allow altcoins as an option. Gambling casinos platforms with exchange still the best.
653  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reason hunters dump reward as soon as received. Trust Exchange etc on: August 07, 2020, 07:15:08 PM
Cheesy if I get the job done and get equally paid, what else should I do with my rewards?, to sustain my life and families because this is my job  Roll Eyes dump! dump!! and dump!!!. Hunters will remains dumpers because they are different from investors and traders. Personally, am not against the hunters but getting their rewards dump immediately the token get listed is worrisome, the bounty managers should rise to their responsibilities in distribution of these tokens batch by batch. This will help to solve part of the problems from bounty Hunters against potential projects.
654  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what new coins are promising? on: August 07, 2020, 06:52:13 PM
Am always very skeptical about new projects to invest because of their high risk of being scam. New projects don't get tractions from investors these days due to their untrustworthy behaviors. Basically, anyone who want to make investment with new projects should be such that is ready to take risk and should put into the investment little funds because of it uncertainty. Its hard to get promising new projects because of scammers that flooded the cryptocurrency projects from 2017- till date. Even the DeFi projects aren't trusted again because of the above reasons. It's better to choose an existing project to make investment into than new projects.
655  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: African bitcointalk community hangout on: August 07, 2020, 10:32:07 AM
let be more careful with altcoins this time. The altcoins seem still good in the market but remember this, Bitcoin still gathering momentum to brake into $12.6k which will result to all-altcoins get dump immediately. Ensure to make your due diligence, and if you must buy any altcoins now please buy with caution. Though, life is  more better with Bitcoin than the altcoins  Grin cheers.
656  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Regulations in online Gambling sites on: August 07, 2020, 10:00:52 AM
Does this mean every online casinos would require KYC? <snip>
The government had long ago agitated for all online gambling casinos to embark on compulsory know your customers(KYC) but some gambling platforms still decline this request and contributed to what has eaten deep into gamblers these days. As per the current regulations from the government, is to ensure gamblers are gambling minimally. Government can enforce this regulations through a minimal deposit from every gambler and not otherwise.
657  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You have to prove that you can take the loss on: August 07, 2020, 09:39:35 AM
Its easier said than done, most gamblers bets money that they can't afford to loss especially when most people are unemployed and doesn't have any source of income, so they turn into casino's to make money.

For those unemployed: Do they really make the money we're talking about here? I think in the real sense they don't, rather they lose the more. Hardly for anyone to come empty into the gambling hall and make it out with pleasure. Most of these gamblers go home even more frustrated than before.

The governments decision towards gambling addiction may also affect its economy especially when there's a lot of revenue in online gambling during the pandemic.
Even though the decision by the government will affect her economy, it's better for her citizens to be more safe than getting into gambling addiction.
658  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Escrow is a must to avoid disappointment on: August 06, 2020, 08:07:33 PM
Escrow only works to avoid not getting your rewards after bounty ends, understand that this won't solve problem to dump and it won't solve the problem of a project turning dead or useless later
Correct, what OP wanted was the managers going through the method of escrow participants tokens or coins for their work, than working and not getting paids at the end. We have had many times when campaign participants got nothing in return for their promotional offer on this platform. Though, the problem of dumping aren't going to be solve by the escrow but getting the participants paid is more Paramount. LEDU project got their manager not paid but because the bounty manager escrow their tokens participants are going to get their tokens without disappointments of any sorts.
659  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Twitter Hacker Arrested! on: August 06, 2020, 07:54:33 PM
Damn dude.

This kid is going to get one hefty sentence.
I will not be surprised if he is going to be working under serious guide to unlock some other applications. The guy brain is too hot to be wasted just like that.
Due to the degree of the hack, he's going to face the sentence and nothing more in my opinion. Although, a critical look into this situation shown that such a teen shouldn't have access to such information that granted him access to Almighty Twitter accounts. The hack was massive and believe me all the complaisance will be fish out and jail accordingly. He deserve to rest and learn the hard way in jail. When a brain is hot, then learn to control it positively and not negatively, sorry teen!.
660  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts on new ATH on: August 06, 2020, 07:41:25 PM
I think we are still far from seeing a new ATH so there is no need to be excited but I think we all wants to see it happen as soon as possible.

Basically we're not far as you thought about us seeing another all time high. If the current movement of Bitcoin if pass the $11.8k then we're heading towards the $12+k zones which will mean another boost for another gradual all time high.
Quote
I also wants to know how much bigger would be our next ATH would be compared to our current ATH and how long would it stay at that price.
My expectations are very high if you ask me, the current situation in the cryptocurrency market if correct has the possible of institutional investment trooping into the market which will give a Major boost. Am seeing a price of Bitcoin around $30k before the end of 2020.
