641  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Success or Fail? - Talking about Gambling as a major income on: June 17, 2023, 10:13:46 PM
Whether you want to be a professional gambler or you prefer just to be a gambler is secondary. The primary thing is the money, it is the one that drives people towards gambling. People were much about experience based, very few stay within limits or spend what they can afford to lose. This happens understanding and knowing the life stories shared by people through different sources. There is some people who realise only through real life experience, which is really hard. Most of the time once got used to it, people find it problematic and unable to come out easily.

In the Nottingham Challenger Andy Murray have slowly progressed and reached the Quarter finals. In the quarter finals match Andy Murray is in lead position winning the first set against Stricker 77-62, now again he have won the second set 7-5.

He's one among the legend who is fighting hard amidst his age and injuries. With this win he had his consecutive eight win in grass.
643  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gender in Gambling [differences between Women and Men in Gambling] on: June 16, 2023, 06:46:55 PM
Maybe in the third world countries people will see women into gambling differently. On Western nation people have got used to it. Women are good managers than men, and for that reason women prefer gambling of games that are much connected with calculations.

Men within the age of 40 can be seen much into sports betting than casino games. People who have earned good and want to enjoy prefer casino games. In each and every industry the women's participation is increasing with time. Gambling industry isn't the exception, and Women will surely stand equal to men sooner or later.
644  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop stressing kids with bitcoin on: June 16, 2023, 06:17:37 PM
Kids should be given their space. If we were specific about the age group, it'll be better whether the kids can be taught about bitcoin or not. Even the educated people who have got used to technology find it hard to understand bitcoin. How does the kids understand about bitcoin, it is really tedious process. Teaching things at the right age will be beneficial and easy understanding than early teaching. So, it is good to let kids enjoy their childhood than forcing them towards something that is not for them.

The sixth wicket partnership between Jonny Bairstow and Joe Root was very important for England. It was a pivotal point for England in this innings. England was not looking good at 176/5. The good thing is Joe Root is still in the middle. He has already scored 96. I believe he’s going to get to his hundred very soon. Jonny Bairstow played a quick innings of 78 runs from 78 balls. Joe Root took a more classic test cricket approach. He has played 142 balls to get his 96.

England has scored 363 at the loss of eight wickets. I would say this is a decent score. If England can get to 400 I would say they would be really happy.

I mean seriously dude? England declaring first innings with 2 wickets still left. I don't know why they are in so hurry to declare the innings. Root and Bairstow rescued England when game was slippig  away from them. England scored 393 runs with RR of 5.04. Khawaja had a terrible WTC final and will be looking to score some runs today.

I don't get this, England had 8 wickets already down and what more runs the last two wickets can put to the England score?

In a test match, sometimes you have to make aggressive decisions and this is what the England captain does. I am sure that England's back-of-mind plan was that they will take 1 or 2 Australian wickets by the end of the day but it did not happen.

England still has the upper hand in this match and if they can quickly take some wickets in the half session tomorrow morning, they could have more grasp on this match.
That's a different decision from England. The team had different plan and everything worked for them as planned. Scoring is remarkable,393 runs in 78 overs losing 8 wickets. England will now do their best to take few wickets. This could increase the winning probability of England. Lyon's bowling is really awesome, and he took 4 wickets. For Australia Moeen Ali might be a tough challenge.

Kenya had the potential to be a far better team than they are today. I would also say that Kenya actually had the potential to be better than Bangladesh. But just because nobody wanted the African continent to be improved in cricket and also just because cricket was controlled by the mafia, Kenya did not get the test status. Instead, it was given to Bangladesh. And we all know Bangladesh has actually not improved in tests. At least liked as well as they should have. If it was Kenya, I believe the improvement was going to be better. I am not feeling that Bangladesh has not improved in anything. Bangladesh has done very well in the ODI format. Back in test cricket Bangladesh still sucks.

Kenya could've been in a better position, but things didn't go well with Kenya team and there is no big support from the ICC. Kenya have played more matches against the full members compared to other small teams. It needs more improvement. Today in the match against Botswana the team had lost the match by 30 runs. Botswana won the toss and managed to score 145 runs and Kenya were able to reach 115 runs while chasing the target.

Bangladesh ended their second innings with a lead of 370 runs on the second day. After bowling out Afghanistan, Bangladesh managed to score 134 runs for one wicket at the end of the second day when they came to bat in the second innings. Nazmul Hossain Shanto performed well in the second innings as well as in the first innings.

One of these two batsmen is the opening batsman and the other is the batsman playing in the number three position.  But these two batsmen have the same equation. That is, these two batsmen have scored 54 runs in 64 balls where both of them have a strike rate of 84.4.
Three more days left, Bangladesh will probably end the innings by the second session of third day. In the first innings Afghanistan scored just 146 runs. The middle order alone performed well, and similar pattern of play can be expected in the second innings. Bangladesh is really strong, particularly the open order is giving good support in scoring. Even in the first innings the score came from the top order and tail order contribution is not even 5% of the score. If Bangladesh end its innings in the first session, the match will end by tomorrow.

It is actually really hard to say that any other team is going to qualify instead of West Indies and Sri Lanka. I mean right now the situation in Sri Lanka and the West Indies is not very good. But the others which they are competing against are far worse, to be honest.

So I don’t see any other team actually beating either of these two, Sri Lanka or West Indies in this race. And a good performance from Zimbabwe is expected. After all, they are getting a good amount of money from the ICC every year. They really should be showing some improvement. Otherwise, there are other teams that can use that money.

Well.. I agree. Performance depends a lot on the fund allocation from the ICC. Zimbabwe receives around $12 million per year from the ICC. Sri Lanka and West Indies receive $16.5 million per year. For teams such as Nepal (who receive $200,000 per year), it will be an uphill battle to compete against such teams. There are 4 test nations participating in this tournament - Sri Lanka, West Indies, Ireland and Zimbabwe. There is a 99.99% chance that the two teams that qualify for the 2023 ODI World Cup will come from this sub-set.
Recently we've seen more matches go against the favourites. So, we can't be sure of the performance from the four. I expect Nepal, Netherlands to give good competence. Even the situation could arise same as that we saw in the IPL qualifier. Almost every team were with same point and the thrill of entering the qualifier continued till the last match.
649  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Casinos Include The Sport Spogomi In Their Platform on: June 14, 2023, 02:44:44 PM
Sports betting platforms prioritise sports and events that are followed much by the people around the world. This game isn't known much, and through this thread only I've come to know about this sports. This is really good as a sport. For the first time World Cup is gonna be conducted and the rules were good. I expect these kind of games to be encouraged all around, because people will show interest in keeping the surroundings clean. If not conducting the event on places that are polluted by people can help in making the place better. Japan is good in technology as well as in unique thinking. Japan have been organising these games among the school children long back itself. So, the championship gonna be won by Japan team.

Yes, it is very difficult to come back and play again at the top level in tennis after long breaks due to injuries or when it is an older player who is no longer as fast and physically fit as he used to be.
Venus Williams was a top and very successful tennis player who won many important tennis tournaments and can be satisfied with her career.
However, Kyrgios had tremendous talent and if he had the necessary character and work habits he could have been one of the best tennis players in history. Too bad for him.
I am currently following Andy Murray's performance at the Nottingham Open. It is incredible to see his mental strength and will that after so many injuries, even at the age of 36, he is still playing tennis and preparing for Wimbledon. At one time, he was an equal tennis player to the "big three of world tennis" Federer, Nadal and Djokovic, and won 3 GS tournaments and 2 Olympic golds. If injuries had not stopped his tennis career, it is likely that today we would be talking about the "big four" and not the trio of world tennis.

Source: https://www.bbc.com/sport/tennis/65892767

Injuries were real threat to sportsman. Very few will be strong enough to make a comeback, whereas the majority ends the career. He had played well against De Loore and won the match in direct sets. Next match is against Grenier who can be won by Andy Murray. For now Grenier have won his last match months back in the Challenger against Billy Harris. Now only Djokovic is only player who is talked much. Federer, Nadal and Murray have been remembered as the legends forever.

In the only test match between Bangladesh and Afghanistan we saw some good runs for Bangladesh in the second wicket pair but then four wickets fell but we didn't see any partnership like that but in the sixth wicket pair Mehidy Hasan and Mushfiqur Rahim were able to form a good partnership. Mushfiqur Rahim is unbeaten with 39 runs and Mehidy Hasan is unbeaten with a wicket till now with 40 runs. 77 overs are already over and only 13 overs are left to play today hope Mushfiqur Rahim and Mehidy Hasan can complete these 13 overs.
End of day 1 Bangladesh have managed to score 362/5 runs. Mahmudul Hasan Joy and Najmul Hossain Shanto have contributed good to the team with 76 and 146 runs. Mushfiqur Rahim(41*) and Mehidy Hasan(43*) on the crease is predicted to score 450-500 runs. Afghanistan Players bowlers weren't able to break partnerships and the struggle continues. Possibly by the second day we can expect the pitch to be supportive to the bowlers. Bangladesh is at strong position and good runs from Afghanistan is required atleast to draw the match.

Similar to IPL, in our state we've got TNPL. Something interesting took place during the match between Chepauk Super Gillies and Salem Spartans. 18 runs scored from a ball, that too final ball of the innings. Bowler named Tanwar delivered the final ball and the batsman was bowled out. It was a no ball. Following ball was a no ball, it was a six. The next ball was once again no ball and they took 2 runs. Next one a wide and the final right ball was smashed to six. With this 18 runs have come from the last delivery.18 Runs From One Delivery
653  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Indian Premier League #IPL on: June 13, 2023, 11:57:53 PM
However right after the IPL we saw that the Indian batting line up failed miserably in the world cup test final against Australia. Was it because of the transition from the T20 direct to the test format or was it anything else that caused the batting failure?
Some of the players didn't took part in the IPL (such as Cheteshwar Pujara) and still failed during the WTC final. And then there were some who were out of form during the IPL, like Rohit Sharma and Shardul Thakur. The real reason why the Indian team failed during WTC is because of lack of preparation. They were playing in hot and humid conditions in India, and that too in flat tracks with smaller boundaries. The conditions in England were diametrically opposite and the team didn't got enough time to get adjusted. Also, they didn't focused much on the preparations.

I absolutely agree. Preparation is a big part of any team to be able to be successful in any competition. India was more concerned about the IPL. If India was concerned about the world test championship final they’re going to have at least done better compared to what they did. But that’s understandable. Because the IPL is the biggest tournament in cricket after the world cup. But the performance of India in the final against Australia was absolutely horrible. And I expected better from India in that match. And of course, let’s not say that India lost because the decisions went against them. That is just a part of cricket.

Once after loss we can see more and more reasons coming out for the loss. If it was a win, the credit goes to the players. As said these are all part of cricket. Very few players were resting during the IPL, but they could've had their practice sessions. Rest were directly into the WTC after the IPL. More leagues played around keeps the players at good position, here they were confident or something unexpected happened and ended up losing.

Looks like Rohit might get replaced as the test captain in the near future based on information from various sources. Dravid might also get sacked since he hasn't really helped the team achieve much so far.

If Rohit does get replaced, I hope Ashwin gets a shot or Kohli should return since these two have great leadership qualities.
It was clear from the start that Rohit was a captain for a limited time. In T-20 Hardik already took charge, In ODI Rohit will remain the Captain, at least till WC and for a time being in the Tests too. All these guys are 34+ so no one would be captain for a long period of time and I believe it's safe to say Ashwin will never get a captaincy. Need a younger guy in a captaincy role for sure.

Dravid contract is about to finish after ODI WC so there won't be any sacking.

I don't see anything wrong with Rohit Sharma's captaincy as India bowled fairly well in the final of the World Test Championship but it was the complete batting that failed them especially the Indian top order batsmen in both the innings. So what could Rohit Sharma do in this case. But there were some mistakes in the captaincy, those mistakes had to be corrected by losing the wtc final.
This is the role of the leader. When something happens around the responsibility will be taken by the leader. Same is here, though the winning/credit goes to the individual players it also gets added to the captain. This is where Rohit Sharma is questioned. The batting line-up hadn't performed good, which is known. Same time people will indicate the batting line-up along with the captaincy as the failure which is the reality.
655  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin gift to wife on wedding. on: June 13, 2023, 11:23:32 PM
Not a bad choice, but it doesn't bring the day's excitement. If your wife hadn't known about bitcoin, then it is just a gift. The day is more special, gift on the day shouldn't be forgotten. Even a kiss will be remembered forever, so plan wise and make it a special day for her. Having bitcoin gifted and the same under your control doesn't make any difference.
656  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why People Still Gamble? on: June 13, 2023, 10:46:41 PM
What is the purpose of smoking/Tobacco/liquor consumption, people find it as a way to relieve from stress and have good vibe. Initially the person starts to relieve stress, and the volume increases as a result of the brain wanting for more to have the real pleasure. This is how gambling too works, initially the act gives us some relaxation and later on our mind wants more and this keeps us gambling and gambling. At some point even when we try to get out of it, we can't. Some look to recover what they've lost which is also a reason why people still gamble knowing all about the consequences.
657  Economy / Economics / Re: Corruption Should Be Taught From Young Age on: June 13, 2023, 10:39:20 PM
Where I came from, we are been taught right from primary school in business studies and social science but you can't get the meaning from that until you get to secondary school and you're been taught Economics, Ethics, and all. I know all parents and teachers do their best in teaching morals to their children and students. But it gets to a certain stage in life where greed comes in and this makes some act irrationally.
In order not to give birth to a corrupt generation, education is the most suitable and must be implemented from an early age, not only by teachers at school but also by parents at home. namely the lesson on Ethics and Morals.

Whether we realize it or not, nowadays Ethics and Moral education is taught less and less, either in the school environment or at home by parents. Currently, many parents are even busy with their jobs and only rely on schools to educate their children.
The main cause of the increasing number of corruptors is due to a decrease in the level of ethics and morals, especially in terms of honesty.
Education will make things in order, but the sophistication and the ease of achieving their work done leads to corruption. So, we need to change and the same could really make an impact.

As said the parents itself unable to educate the kids on their busy schedule doesn't think of mere amounts spend on something. Lets assume, both father and mother were working and they earn good. Now they need something to be registered or some official need. They reach the government office and to get the job done they just gift the officer or something. Now the parents have provided it, because they're in a position to give and this doesn't hurt their finance in any means. They get the job done easily. Now the officer expect the same with everyone and does the job for some after getting bribe. This hurts the poor and this is where change needs to happen. Education doesn't gonna change anything in the system.
658  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: There are many advantages to the relationship between gambling and Bitcoin. on: June 12, 2023, 11:47:34 PM
There are many advantages to the relationship between gambling and Bitcoin. Firstly, Bitcoin provides a secure and decentralized way to gamble online, which is attractive to many gamblers who value their privacy and security. Transactions are processed quickly and can be completed without third-party intermediaries, making it a popular choice for online gambling sites.

Another advantage of using Bitcoin for gambling is that it allows for more anonymity than traditional payment methods. This can be especially important for gamblers who wish to keep their gambling activities private.

Furthermore, Bitcoin transactions are often cheaper and faster than traditional banking methods, which can save gamblers money and time.

Many online casinos and sports betting sites now offer exclusive bonuses and promotions for Bitcoin users, which can provide gamblers with extra incentives to use Bitcoin for their online gambling activities.

Can you tell us another advantage of opening an account in a Bitcoin Sportsbook?

everything you said about the advantages of gambling with bitcoin is true, but I think one thing you are missing is the fee fee. many sportsbook bitcoin gambling sites, withdrawing winnings no matter how much the fee is charged is still the same (although the bitcoin fee is still a little fluctuating)

I am very thankful that bitcoin appeared in this world and I will not use fiat anymore to gamble, I will only use bitcoin to gamble

But what if the bitcoin fee you are charged in withdrawing your own bitcoins cost a lot when converted to fiat? Would you still want to gamble with bitcoin? I would continue doing so if we can adjust the fees from the casino, or if they impose just the lowest fee possible to get the transaction confirmed in the next 5 blocks or so. Most of the crypto casinos existing nowadays impose fees that get your transaction confirmed in the next block, and if you don't really need that fast of a transaction, wouldn't it be best if the player can select how much fee are they paying?
Unlike the increasing transaction fee, gambling platforms have the same transaction fee on transactions. This is quite good, because the variation will be paid by the platform. Onchain transaction costs different fee, for same transaction same amount we'll pay different fees. When the gambling platform does this, the transaction done with the low fee gets compensated when there is additional fee required for another transaction.

It is actually sad to see all the players of a generation getting old and retiring almost at the same period of time. It was certainly a great win from Novak Djokovic. Obviously, it could have been a final between Djokovic vs Nadal. That could have made things really memorable for the fans. The final was actually not that bad. Of course, it was a little one sided. But I think we all kind of expected this outcome. Congratulations to Djokovic.
Djokovic has become the tennis player with the most Grand Slam titles and surpassed his rival Nadal.
I can already judge that Djokovic is indeed the greatest tennis player of all time and is the only penis who has made history with the most titles than any other tennis player.

If it becomes a final between Djokovic vs Nadal I still believe Djokovic will come out as the champion even though he is quite old but his game performance remains the same not decreasing one bit.
With the win once again he had made a new record. As mentioned, even if the match is being played between Nadal and Djokovic this could've been the match of Djokovic. Both were almost same in age, Nadal is just an year older. The performance between the two compared to the past is completely different. There is good game in Djokovic, with Nadal things have gone due to injury and age factor. This makes Djokovic the player of all time amidst his age.
660  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: June 12, 2023, 11:21:23 PM
Beckham WAS working on it, but to me it looked like it was a futile attempt and would never happen. I mean let's look at the details, one team is PSG, paying him tens of millions of dollars and he would be still playing at a high level without a doubt just as he did for 2 seasons, the other is Barcelona, is youth club he played nearly 20+ years and 15+ professional and won so many and they were willing to pay him a lot too, just that they would have to sell some other players to make it happen.

And another was Saudi Arabia, maybe not as good of a league that's true and they are "trying" something but so far have like 3 or 4 good players, rest of the league sucks but ONE BILLION!! dollars was offered.

When you see these, Inter Miami looks like a joke, and yet one way or another they convinced him, that's a big deal.

Probably he wanted to go to MLS because he had seen other players go there previously! ! That’s what probably inspired him to go there. He is also getting some good treatment to go there. It is not like he is not getting paid well. In fact, he is getting paid quite a handsome amount of money. But it is true that when we think about the other options, it is certainly a little surprising that he went to Inter Miami.
Did anyone expected that Ronaldo will make a move to Al-Nassr. It happened and a season over, throughout the season he was the talk. Whether he performed or not is secondary. Same as that Messi had made a big decision that were not in the list. He's much welcomed and he himself had mentioned his dream enjoying the life in USA and now it had come true. The universe is turning to be more connected through different leagues.
