641  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for September on: September 08, 2022, 03:53:25 PM
My vote is for $25,000. I love being optimistic about the market when the Ber months come. Sure, we are in a bad economy and inflations happening in different countries, but I still think people find ways at where they would like to invest their Christmas bonus instead of going to waste with spending it for unnecessary things.
If it's not September, then it must be in October. I wish.
642  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 08, 2022, 12:06:32 PM
Miami Heat together with the Philadelphia 76ers, are my favorite teams in the East. Miami Heat in spite of competing at the top the in East thru the years always had the cap space to sign even superstars like Giannis, KD, and Mitchell but they always came up short and I wonder why. Is it because they might have a problem with Butler who's known as the heart and soul of Miami or they just simply lost those bids against the other teams?

I consider Butler a superstar. If only they were 100% healthy last season, they may have a real chance of winning. I'm also hoping for Victor Oladipo and Duncan Robinson to step up their games. And maybe Miami can still acquire some new before the season starts.
Heartaches. That includes Tyler Herro being injured, one of their rising stars and a reinforcement for a veteran Kyle Lowry if he feels he needs a rest.
He cannot play above 35 minutes anymore if I am correct although he did play 63 games. Next year they should be focused with their young core to do most of the job.
We don't know if they are preparing something explosive that's why they don't do any movements yet, but I doubt they will let go of Bam. He will be the new face of Miami Heat.
643  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gala potential? on: September 07, 2022, 10:52:49 AM
Potential is high. This project was created before the pandemic and that may have a lot to do about the value going down in the next few years on lockdown. Before, I even had the idea to buy a node but it's too expensive (at that time). It was $0.5 when I sold some of my funds and honestly, I am part of those who dumped it. After that, I bought it back at a cheaper price because I know about their potential, and I can't just let it go.
It's a biased review since I am also an investor. Let's wait what others would say.
644  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Bitcoin will always remain the best choice on: September 06, 2022, 07:13:31 AM
It would also be beneficial if we could see the difference between digital currencies, it's almost like fiat but it makes life easier. Security though might not be that good but it's expected from a centralized currency.
I don't have gold, but I do use fiat currencies and up until now I like it more than using cards offered by the bank. I like it when I could say it's mine and not a property by the bank that I am just borrowing.
The same goes with Bitcoin, when you purchase it, it's yours. That's what pushed me to invest in it even with all the FUD that is being thrown at it.
645  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 05, 2022, 03:23:53 PM
It is hard to trade westbrook because of his humungus contract. I doubt any team will take him without additional picks or good trade package. Lakers has no picks to offer or anyone to package with Westbrook. I do not know if they can buy out his contract so they can replace him with someone better. I do not know if that is viable. If it is, I think that is a better course if Westbrook's performance does not improve or he cannot have chemistry with his other co-superstars.
It will certainly be a waste of money but if there's any solution to this dilemma then that might be it. $47M. I am sure Westbrook will be happy about it.
Then he could just look for a team that would accept him even with a cut to his average price.

If it won't come to that ending, all eyes will be on him if he will have a better season or will it just be the same as last year. Lakers movement of players seems to be exhausted because of their expensive players. The other option that I see is just pay the luxury tax.  Grin
646  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Solana still among the top 10 coins in market cap? on: September 05, 2022, 08:48:01 AM
I can't understand why Solana is still at the top, when it's been a victim of constant network outages and hacks.
(....)
First, I believe there were no hacks that happened on the Solana network itself. But I believe the hacks here happened to some platform that is built on top of Solana networks, like the recent Slope wallet issue.
Solana outperformed most of the altcoins on the recent bull run, ROI is really huge from 1 digit to 3 digits in just a short period of time.
Overall, I can say Solana should be in the Top 10 now because of its unique network as the best alternative to Ethereum as a layer-1 network.
Indeed they are. The low transaction fees and speed are the bonus.
We are aching for a top contender versus Ethereum because of it sudden increase in those terms. I doubt investors will just pull out because of an outage.
They invested lots of money so it will be better if they can get the most out of it. Support it by spending more money to continue the hype and after a year or two they will reap those rewards.
Furthermore, there's nothing released yet that would compete near on what they had done.
647  Economy / Speculation / Re: All Eyes On Bitcoin’s Monthly Close on: September 04, 2022, 05:17:15 PM
I have always thought the last bear did happen and we are now on a portion where patience is crucial.
Who will give up? Who have the weakest hands to let go of their investment just because of impatience? Dejavu of what happened before where we are also in a moment that nothing can be done but wait.
And if it's true that the number of weak hands did increase then yes, another plummet will come.
Almost 4 months now that we are playing at 18-21k. I think that's a good sign.
648  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 03, 2022, 03:14:34 PM
It would be nice if Clarkson will land to Phoenix, though I doubt if Utah will let him go. He's still young and with

this rebuilding process he can be the main man for this team. The Jazz can surround him with good role players and with those
future picks, he can work on them and utilize those new young bloods.

Though there's nothing is for sure. While you are in this league, we will hear any updates if Jazz will also trade those three known
stars.
That would be awesome. The Sixth Man of the Year becoming the main man. I don't think that happened yet. But, I would like to see Jordan Clarkson being part of the first five and doing what he is good at being a pointguard or a shooting guard.
Maybe we will know after their next move. They still have Mike Conley but that is a veteran, then most of the guards are all young. Its still unpredictable what the Jazz is trying to achieve this moment. Almost like they are starting over from scratch.
649  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN IS DEAD! on: September 03, 2022, 09:03:52 AM
Will this be like an annual thing to happen? If it is, then Happy Anniversary to "Bitcoin is Dead."
Because I am getting used to it and it makes me numb every time I read or hear it. There's just not much excitement anymore unlike before. I prefer something new and effective.

Thank you.
You are helping boost the market of Bitcoin again. This is how it started then grew but I doubt this is how it will end.
650  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Maybe some hacks should not be illegal on: September 03, 2022, 04:44:26 AM
Is this some conscience thing? Like psychologically it should be right if the hacker didn't mean to access one funds/private keys? Like picking up money that is dropped by someone else and no one is claiming it? No, I don't think so. We put those at lost and found section.
Think about it, what if it's your private key that was hacked and you don't even have any idea why or how it happened. Just one good hacker targeted you.
Will that be a fun feeling?
It's illegal, it doesn't matter if you just bumped into it, unless the owner himself gave out the private key.

651  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 02, 2022, 05:18:21 PM
What do you think the trade would result?

https://www.si.com/nba/2022/09/01/donovan-mitchell-traded-to-cavaliers-per-report

is the Cavaliers now more ready in the playoffs? Last season they have an impressive run but fall short, and now that they have Mitchell, maybe we will see some big improvement especially in the playoffs.

About the Jazz, no more Gobert and Mitchell, who will lead the team? Clarkson?

About the Cavaliers, yes I think they are more ready now. The East will have a better competition in the next season to come.
About the Jazz, it's a white flag. All this moves that they have done is a surrender for this year. They wont' do much but just give experience to their newly organized roster.
Donovan Mitchell will surely love the Cavs intensity. We saw it last season, we will see it again. Reunited with Ricky Rubio.
652  Economy / Economics / Re: Savings during inflation on: September 02, 2022, 10:34:06 AM
This is the reason why I cannot buy anything right now, especially equipment things. It's just that I am keen at price checking and I know how much the difference is today than last year or a couple. It is true, it's doubled, worst some items are tripled in price. I guess my only option is to save it for later or if the equipment is badly a necessity then just swallow the expensive price and don't regret it.
It's difficult to adjust now because the salary is not even changing, it's not levelled with the new price tags in the market.

We've got some rumors about Carmelo Anthony. He's likely to go with the Boston Celtics. He's a potential signee for them.

I thought he will go to the Knicks, not sure how he will fit in Boston though, probably what he has given to the Lakers, off the bench and then maybe had a good shooting night, 20+ ppg in he stay with them throughout the season. And it's good to see still play and the Celtics need a veteran like him in the bench.
Melo to Warriors!!!!!

There was some rumors about this right? So I will push with Melo to Warriors Cheesy. Kidding aside, with Gallinari getting injured, adding Melo might be a big help in the bench and he is a veteran as well. Putting him a bunch of young and talented players might help the whole team so I guess adding Melo is a good addition. Hoping for Gallinari to recover and still play for the Boston so that Melo will go to the Warriors Tongue.
You're forcing it.  Cheesy It's not that bad though, there is a chance. Perhaps he will best suit there. Warriors let go of many roleplayers in their roster so it can happen. A veteran contract, maybe? I think Melo would accept that with some roles of being a back up shooter.
The only wall that I see is the demanding contract of Draymond which will mean the Warriors may stop adding more players because of the luxury tax.
655  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin hit 2022 low again? on: September 01, 2022, 04:50:01 AM
A Lot of damages have been done to Bitcoin in 2022, which is partly due to the economic woes of the world and high inflation plaguing global markets among other factors. The Crypto has been holding its ground tightly above the low of June 2022.

My question is, will Bitcoin hold the rest of this year above the low of June at 17625.00 or the level will be breached before 2023?
My wish is for that thing not to happen. Keep the resistance at this level and promote Bitcoin more in different platforms so that it's value won't go down.
Because once another dump happens we can see a lot of negative speculations again and FUD will spread more.
This kind of outcome will not just affect Bitcoin but it will plague thru all the altcoins that is out there. So it better just stay on it's path while we are waiting for our economy to go back to normal or even just near it.
656  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: August 30, 2022, 04:07:12 PM
Inoue will simple take this Belt for sure , Butler may have skills but not enough for this Japanese boxer that had already Shown his power over best asian fighter in the past , so  I believe that Butler is not the one who will beat Inoue but who truly knows?
boxer can make their opponent Down with lucky single punch.
Yeah, let's not jump to conclusions just yet. I agree that Inoue proved a lot by winning most of his fights by KO. But you will never know what could happen with just one mere second of a mistake. The thing with undefeated fighters are they will always be the aggressor and there's the opportunity for Butler to hand him a counter.
He will be patient and will try to win by score, as most of his recent fights are won that way but I doubt Inoue will.
657  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will the market rise in september on: August 30, 2022, 03:43:11 PM
2 more days, I don't think it will happen.
Most predictions ends like this so I guess this is just another one of those.

Economy is not good, people are scared of investing, FUD is scattered all over the internet, and there's no good expectation where the market will go.
Sum it all up and you will get a bear market or a steady one. IMO, we are in a steady phase and if this takes longer the next will be bull. Fingers cross.
658  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 30, 2022, 02:44:53 AM
It looks like the Lakers have decided to stop trying to find a good trade for Russell Westbrook and they're now willing to do whatever they can to get rid of his contract.  No idea who they'd potentially try to sign with the savings, but it seems like they're ready to do what they have to do to get him off their roster.  The latest is that they're trying to piggyback on any trade to include Russell's contract and to incentivize teams to take that contract they're offering both their first round pics in 2027 and 2029.  What a mistake that Westbrook signing was...
Big mistake. They didn't realized it will be that bad until gametime.
3rd party in a trade, that's what I read. Forcing a trade because no one is offering anything for him. This ain't different with what happened with Kyrie and Durant although Westbrook is not some kind of a diva like them. He just want to be on a better team and get a ring but it seems his last chance is trying to kick him out because of the unproductive season that he performed.
Dude should've stayed in OKC. He may not get a championship but he will be remembered in that place. Or he may get one just like Dirk who did it as a veteran.
659  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you play Slots? (long sessions / jumper / focussed) on: August 29, 2022, 05:00:33 PM
Option B : Do you jump between different slots, play for a while and then jump to the next slot?
I am with this type of a slot player. I don't/cannot stay long in just one game. It bores me quick and gives me a hard time to enjoy the game. IMO, it's always better if you still excited about the game you are playing.
Some reasoning are because they might be near hitting the jackpot that is why they stay but I don't believe that. If it's your day then it will be. I have seen one gambler who is not sitting in one slot machine for so long but hit the jackpot for like 10-15 rounds.

660  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin do $19k again before a bull market? on: August 29, 2022, 09:32:19 AM
Not an expert but on the same perspective as you, I don't want to see it go lower than that because more FUD will come out if it does so.
It's below 20k now but back to a green light. If it does go lower then chances of breaking the resistance point will be higher.
But when a big movement down happens we can expect the bull will near too. The calm, then going going low, afterwards the spurt. I am just using history basis though, the economic problem is still up so it might be different this year.
