You don't have to depend on this platform alone for such if you are genuine in your endeavour. E-commerce is better marketed in social media space so use your handle to market through your social media friends in Facebook, YouTube, X etc. There you have friends who already know you either physically and you can relate with them P2P, your worth will be appreciated with them more.
I think asking that here is not a bad thing, there's no harm in asking here, even though the market on social media is bigger.
but maybe he might find a partner here, who knows, right?

Yeah. I think I didn't ask him outrightly not to request here but I mean he shouldn't depend on the platform and like you admitted, he needs the social media more for the kind of product he would be looking for. He needs people who might want to see him physically especially if they are in close location. Moreover, pictures and his picture are selling point for people to know him.
643  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Selling a property to play gamble on: February 10, 2024, 11:51:11 AM

Going out of your way just to stake or make gambling bets is an unhealthy practice as people are advised to gamble responsibly by staking what they can afford to lose. The reason why people stake beyond their pockets is because they have their judgement clouded their ability to recognize that they could possibly lose it all.

The effect of greed is the reason that people gamble irresponsibly. When you are having such huge agenda in your mind that the next game is likely the one that will give you the jackpot you have been aiming for a longtime then you are going to continue even when you are losing. Another reason is you are gambling with the hope to use the profit for personal financial challenges, chasing of loses will become the order because the emotion becomes the controlling factor.
644  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does even freezing a customer's account curb irresponsible gambling? on: February 10, 2024, 09:34:06 AM
If suddenly you went on a binge-gambling out of a lack of self-control or something else. For example, you deposit money in rapid succession after a series of losses and the casino management freezes your account. And when you call their customer support, they tell you that your account has been frozen for 3 weeks and the reason why they carried out that measure was because they suspected that you were gambling irresponsibly and decided to take that measure so that you can call yourself back to order, will you feel furious, cuss out, sign out of your account and register on another casino and continue betting. Does even freezing a customer's account curb irresponsible gambling or betting addiction?

I know this is a hypothetical question because casino won't have to stop you from gambling the way you are because it is your money and in fact they won't you to gamble more and your chances of winning is limited.

However, for the response to such action, I think it depends on the person involved. An irate person will get angry about that and an addict also will not find it funny but someone who is a moderate gambler will not be abusive but will look inward to himself and make his amendment to his gambling activities.

646  Local / Politics and society (Naija) / Re: A better leadership,a better Nigeria. on: February 10, 2024, 06:26:16 AM
The leadership challenge for Nigeria na big problem, is like many people just dey corrupt because youth self dey want collect deir own as we don see for the current administration and no wonder dem dey threaten to kill people for the election. The funny thing again be say as dem don begin electoral reform, dem don leave the real challenge of the election wey be electronic voting and transmission real time, dem don leave the hitches but talking about putting all federal elections together one day. Na frivolities wey the parliaments dey dance on.
647  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: How dollar rise take affect the prices of things? on: February 09, 2024, 10:07:37 PM

I wan really ask how dollar wey oyibo Dy use Dy take Dy affect the prices of goods and services for our country because if to say na only goods wey dem import I for say na the exchange rate when making payment but how e take affect things wey we they source raw materials locally come produce here like garri, rice, indomie, cloths, and other things

As Nigeria dey so now, na two things dey make price high and them be fuel price and dollar to Naira exchange rate. Okay for the fuel price now, when transportation put money because of say transporters buy fuel high so market people too go add money for wetin them too dey sell because them need to cut cost too, nobody want gree for anybody.

For dollar own nko, we sabi say naija no dey produce something and so most of the things wey we dey use na by import and you have to buy dollar to do that so it gives dollar more value than Naira plus the politicians wey dey store dollar for their houses. Some politicians and governors no dey use naira but dollars and that further weakens the Naira. Some countries wey dey serious dey use their currency for anything dem want do.
648  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If I bet big I lose, but if I bet small I win on: February 09, 2024, 08:52:21 PM

Does the casino system/algorithm know the betting patterns we make? So often when we bet big we are given a loss and when our bet is small we actually win, which is very annoying

Such feeling is normal in gambling but I don't think it has to do with the casino system or any thing. Winning is by chance and it means it comes with anything. You can bet small or big and the outcome will be what it has been destined to be. Now in such circumstances that one is confused on the size of bet to win from and those which he is losing, it is better to stay with what profits you. If you have been winning small then stick with the small and continue accumulating with the small profit, consistency matters and before a little while you can have accumulated fund that you don't expect to have. They say a little drop of water can make ocean.
649  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Waste of resources at parents disrupting their children dreams for self interest on: February 09, 2024, 08:17:02 PM

Now that she is being forced by her parents at what she doesn't have desires for, her obsession towards her passionate dreams would definitely not let her concentrate on her studies as she keep grumbling that she would dropout of the school somedays if her parents persists she must go to the university.

They say what the old person see while seating, the young won't see it while standing. I believe the parents have more futuristic reasons to want her to be educated. Given that the parents should not be the one to choose a course of study for her but they realise that education shouldn't be relegated in people's lives despite that there are no white collar jobs but to be educated is another assets itself and that is why even the wealthy business men still find out time go back to school after dropping out in their early school days

So in her case too, I believe education is important in person's life. She should look for how to study in fashion courses or related courses so that she will gain better knowledge. The area of her interest can be studied in the university. If someone has opportunity to go to school, let them go because the future is not certain for anyone.
650  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion || Current Topic: AFCON 2023 on: February 09, 2024, 07:21:53 PM
This same South Africa we are talking about is also pissed about how Nigeria defeated them and I believe they have started threatening Nigerians living in their country that same day. Of recent they started threatening our goalkeeper (Nwabali) which we know plays for one of the clubs (Chippa United) in South Africa, I can't understand how childish they are to always pour their anger on us (Nigerians) each time we defeat them and CAF won't do anything to stop this or even our president.

Government of both countries should make sure such threat doesn't extent to losing of life. Nigeria has already lost some people from heart attacks during the match either because of anxiety. It is enough and we don't want to lose more people for a game that should bring joy to the people and not sorrow. Instead of threat we should rather look for ways to win next time because it is a game that will return every two years. South Africa played very well and it was a matter of luck that Nigeria escaped, so should look forward to next time and not to spike up xenophobic again.
651  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Taking a break in gambling on: February 09, 2024, 05:53:27 PM

I recently decided to take a break since I want to hold my crypto due to its increasing value and I don’t to spend it while it’s giving me passive profit. I just claiming bonus now or anything that is free to still enjoy gambling without risking my money.

I guess this is the voice of a gambler who is not consistent in profit  Grin lol and want to play safe by keeping some hodling for bull expectation, otherwise if you are playing and making profit then you are better with futuristic expectations, lol.

However, well it is good that we understand what we want and go for it rather than being greedy and never to do a check on our progress in gambling.

What is the instances that makes you take a break in gambling?

When the loses become too much hehe  Grin Take a break and review yourself betting.
652  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have a habit of tracking your gambling progress? on: February 09, 2024, 07:51:56 AM
At first, when I was new to gambling, I mostly tracked my win, loss, and overall performance to organize my gambling habits. This way, I can track analyze where to improve and stay disciplined with my bankroll management. It requires effort to track progress. Until, as time passed by, when I got more and more into gambling, I did not care about tracking it anymore.

It is not that easy to track such record or to keep tabs of it especially if you are a daily player. I think I tried it at a time briefly as an active gambler then but found myself too bothered about it that it was almost stressing me out. It can only be an easy exercise for a newbie who is just in the euphoria of what is going on with his game and the energy will still be there. It can also be easier for a one time player say a weekly player, but for a daily player, you might see it taking your time from other activities of the day.
653  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency impact on Economy on: February 08, 2024, 09:49:52 PM

Unemployment:

The increase in population of the developing countries and under developing countries will leads to the unemployment due to human resource surplus. The freelancer of this country uses the cryptocurrency as the one of the income generating resource.

I believe the unemployment challenge among the youths will gradually not be a big problem for those who are able to switch into cryptocurrency and other online activities to generate money. There is the online revolution these days that is helping the community of online and crypto enthusiast. The government has failed in the provision of jobs and job search is now shifting to crypto. Cryptocurrency is giving the opportunity for younger people to be involved through trading, arbitrage etc.
654  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever introduced an elder gambler to online betting? on: February 08, 2024, 07:27:13 PM
As you can see, it wasn't only about gambling, but also about interacting with other people inside a real gambling environment, besides the technological experience not being so rewardable when compared to playing at solid, palpable physical machines.

This is probably one out of a good number of population because I see older people who don't like gambling either because they have had bad experience in it from the past or they were brought up in a religious home that talks against gambling. So in this case maybe this age person who freely goes into a gambling centre is already a gambler and doesn't need to be taught. He probably talks with people around because he is free and use to what is happening there. An aged person who is a novice in gambling is different and difficult to be thought about gambling. Aged people don't like learning what they feel won't be easy for them or won't benefit them.
655  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have a habit of tracking your gambling progress? on: February 08, 2024, 05:37:14 PM
The question is to answer which part of the divide you are whether you belong to the group of gambling fun players or those who agreed playing for profit  Grin

So if you are playing for the profit then you can now talk about tracking your gambling habit or activities and the profit or losses made. If you are gambling for the fun then you don't have anything to track but just to enjoy the fun. I don't need to track anything except you depend on gambling for source of income.
656  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your response in placing live bets with a friend at a live sporting matches on: February 08, 2024, 04:43:36 PM
Meanwhile, what you gambled is not live. In local parlance it should be called side. Like two people are playing and you are supporting one side by gambling on it.

Buttressing this whole thing, we individually feels cheated at every blown panelized whistles and of course there is are felling amongst us that any goals scored against our oppositions is not Worth it so there is always room to point at either the referees or the coaches for being biased just because of the game ongoing is not playing towards the favours of our desired teams.

It is a right feeling and truly there are high moments of the game where Nigerian goal scored by Victor osimhen was cancelled and the decision of the referee to award penalty to South Africa. So it is understandable if two people who staked against each other feel such anxiety.

This is to an extend, there was no more funs about the game due to the point of personal interests to make sure our supported team wins the match.

But that is where the fun should be where two friends are disagreeing peacefully with the decisions of the referee. Those who say gambling is for fun should also see such moment as the fun aspect of the game and not to get agree because they are probably seeing the decision of the referee as for them to lose their money.
657  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: World female football. on: February 08, 2024, 03:02:22 PM
If I'm not mistaking, the female football is among the big sporting events after the male football tournaments and yes they deserve some publicity and to showcase talents flowing out of the female folks. Always, it generates some income for countries who win the trophy and markets also for business people. Such times also, it is a moment of relaxation for football fans to chill themselves out. Because of the female tournaments, different clubs have their female teams and that creates more sporting market, events and tourism .
658  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How's problem gambling different from compulsive gambling. on: February 08, 2024, 02:29:49 PM
When you can't control your gambling activities then you are under the control of inability to stay out, restive and compulsive which causes problem leading into addicttion. People who are obsess with gambling can't have control of themselves and they are also linked as problem gamblers. There is no straight line dichotomy between the two of them and they are the ingredients of addiction. If you are addicted to gambling you have that tendency to always become compulsive and problem gambler.
659  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Changing initial option and losing the bet on: February 08, 2024, 12:15:30 PM

but when I get to gambling center I will have a thought of changing option or adding  a game  to the initial option I selected and this most time will cost losing the bet.

This is a usual thing that happens to gambler. The most annoying for me is the adding of new game and not the changing of option. If I change option I still see it as part of the game that I wanted to play early but only that I was not able to pick the correct option for it. So if I introduce a totally new game to the multiple and it becomes what caused the lose, it is the most annoying.

What to do to have a solution is the decision not to add new game or change the option when you get at the betting stand. And also, to avoid discussion of the game you want to bet by friends or other bettors that you will find there.because most times it is at the brink of betting that we change the games that will become the losing game. Decision is important to bet and not to change always but to stand with your game.
660  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion || Current Topic: AFCON 2023 on: February 08, 2024, 07:56:04 AM

On February 12 we will see who the winners in this tournament, If we check in the sportsbook both teams have the same opportunity to win based on the odds offered this means they predict the two teams will draw in normal time.

The odds is where you have a face idea of who is favourite. So teams don't have the same opportunity to win but what happens in the field is a different thing entirely. If you look at the odds of Nigeria and South African team, they are not the same and that means one was tipped to win and that was/is Nigeria having odd around 1:30 and South Africa having about 5 plus even though the game changed at the field of play as South Africa really proved her worth dragging the match to 120 minutes and eventually falling through penalties. Despite Nigeria winning, well I didn't expect the match to be that tough especially from the side of South Africa. I think the bunch of players from their home league really helped their play.

However, congratulations to Nigeria for finally coming into the finals of the 2024 Afcon competition and helpfully they are going to take home the trophy.
