6501  Other / Off-topic / Re: All your gamble are belong to chronic on: February 23, 2013, 02:12:34 PM
I currently own the Gold Bar (http://bitcoingoldbar.com/), The Gem (http://bitcoingem.com/#), and The Coin (http://www.btcgoldcoin.us/game/)!

I dont mess with creepy looking bears.  Wink

Just pure gambling with some btc I won playing poker on Seals With Clubs https://sealswithclubs.eu/aff.php?aff=186

Action is a little slow on there around 8-9am EST, and sometimes a man with a few beers in him needs his gambling fix ASAP!

Someone buy them back, Im down to battle!

But don't forget that the gold bar is owned by the same person as the bears Smiley

(I sold it)
6502  Economy / Gambling / Re: Minecraft BitVegas. UPDATE: Real bitcoin gaming now available to all! on: February 23, 2013, 02:08:17 PM
Quick question, I have the Minecraft mobile app for my Android phone, will this work on that?
Nope!
6503  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Balthazar & BTC-e method on: February 23, 2013, 12:20:24 PM
maybe if you stopped bringing attention to it at every chance it would just die when whoever is funding it stops.

Doesn't everyone know that Balthazar is actually paying smoothie NVC to bring attention to it?
6504  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] BITINVEST - Transparent low risk investment bond on: February 23, 2013, 10:09:58 AM
You can trade in 1 share of btcinvest for the face value - BF fee (0.099 BTC). Just PM me Smiley

Will this offer stand in the future?
Yes, it's in the asset description!

'Buybacks
BTCINVEST will buy back each bond for their face value minus the fee BitFunder already charged us (0.099 BTC). However, as at any time the funds are mostly in fixed term investments, investors will need to schedule the buyback with BTCINVEST. "

Because of the structural change, this is no longer the case.
6505  Economy / Securities / Re: [CRYPTOSTOCKS] Vircurex [VCX] - Going public on: February 23, 2013, 10:08:00 AM
If you want 70% of the company AND >1000BTC in profit, then you need to be putting 7850 BTC in the company. At the current state, this is going to pale out VERY badly unless you're Kumala.
6506  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bitcoin Grid - 100 grids of 100*100, just one bitcoin on: February 23, 2013, 09:21:17 AM
There was one, but it doesn't exist anymore  Smiley

I promise to keep the bitcoin grid up for at least 10 years, possibly longer!

How can we be sure? Did you pay for 10yrs in advance hosting so if you get hit by a bus it will still be up?
I'm not going to pay for 10 years hosting, what if I want to switch hosting provides or my current one goes out of business? If I get hit by a bus of course the site will be down when it expires, and I wouldn't be around to fulfill the promise.

Hopefully I don't get hit my a bus  Smiley

... MySQL ... anything else you need.
Who needs MySQL these days?  People who are using MySQL don't even use MySQL anymore...
Well, facebook does.
6508  Economy / Lending / Re: 420's Non-Ponzi Interest Bearing Accounts & Options on: February 23, 2013, 07:55:07 AM
Why not just use your credit card and not pay ~80% APR?

If you weren't approved for one, then why should anyone give you a loan?
6509  Economy / Securities / Re: MPEx & Bitcoin Stock Exchanges on: February 23, 2013, 07:53:05 AM
No mention of Crypto::Stocks?
Because it has about two assets with any value in them.
6510  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Balthazar & BTC-e method on: February 23, 2013, 07:41:56 AM
There is no way to tell how many orders on the book are fake. The exchange can do what MPEX does and just send itself coins backwards and forwards to create the illusion of trade volume and liquidity.
BTC-e probably is doing this, but MPOE pays out profits to shareholders, and if they were creating tons of fake volume then they're paying for it.
6511  Economy / Securities / Re: S.DICE - SatoshiDICE 100% Dividend-Paying Asset on MPEx on: February 23, 2013, 07:38:57 AM
the big whale from last month who spent a lot of coins on S.DICE has disappeared, so profitability will probably go downwards. To sell at 0.6 is a great deal for someone who bought at IPO prices.

Betting / profit has picked up... always does when a chunk of shares need to be moved.

Profit went up about 10%... Not some massive jump.

6513  Economy / Games and rounds / FREE Grid on Bitcoin Grid! (Game) on: February 23, 2013, 07:16:35 AM
Want a free grid on the Bitcoin Grid, worth 1 BTC?

I've selected a random number from 0 to 50. The SHA256 hash of that number, plus some padding, is 8d6c33044e5efc55d290d5c955d68143f15ad6c604e4b15cb5784d1dda28920b

Guess the number and you'll get a free grid! I will then PM you with details on how to claim it.

Or, you know, you could just purchase a grid and get an early position Wink
6514  Economy / Marketplace / Bitcoin Grid - 100 grids of 100*100, just one bitcoin on: February 23, 2013, 07:13:55 AM
Bitcoin Grid

Purchase a grid today for just one bitcoin! Bitcoin Grid is a site that has 100 grids, each of them a 100 by 100 pixel image. You can set what website to link to, as well as a hover text.

Grids never expire and the sooner you buy, the more prominent it is! This is a GREAT way to get traffic to your bitcoin related site for a one time, low price.

Your grid will show up instantly after 1 confirmation.

Visit Bitcoin Grid!

Any questions, just post them here! Smiley

6516  Economy / Securities / Re: S.DICE - SatoshiDICE 100% Dividend-Paying Asset on MPEx on: February 23, 2013, 04:48:55 AM
100 000 000 * .006 = 600 000 * 30 = 18 000 000

Probably one of the bigger investors has decided that S.DICE is not worth $18 million USD and has decided to take some profit.

Rapid BTC price gain combined with the deluge of new shares Erik dumped on us means that the average person will probably realize a BTC loss.
But eh, those BTC are worth more $ now, so if you invested $ using BTC as the conduit, you are still up... just wait for a usagi type to come defend S.DICE as a great investment and explain it.
Unless you're someone who brought at 0.0044 Smiley
6517  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] BITINVEST - Transparent low risk investment bond on: February 23, 2013, 04:38:59 AM
I'm not mad TF old buddy old pal, just returning the favor from when you kindly bumped my colloidal silver thread.   Cool

Sorry for calling BTCINVEST a stock, I now see it's a bond.

Even though the yield is much higher than I thought, I still wouldn't invest because having to PM you to cash out is weird and defeats the purpose of using an exchange.

Why not just put up a bid wall at BTC0.099 instead?  Seems kind of scammy...

NovaCoin trades freely on BTC-E, and you don't have to PM Balthazar to sell them!   Grin
Because it would reduce returns if I keep X% of the coins on a bidwall instead of actually investing?  Smiley

It's the same as BTCBOND. The reason why the bidwall isn't large for btcinvest is because BitFunder's reserve system works differently - if you put up 100 at 0.099, then you can't have the same coins on another reserve. So people who are interested at buying this at 0.099 would be better to just buy it at face value and get dividends!

Sorry, I think there is something wrong with the 2010 volume in USD...
Hmm? You do realize BTC was worth nothing at that time?

When people actually stop playing.
Correction: when you stop buying it yourself hoping others will actually buy it Wink
