7402  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Im searching the guy from this forum that claims he can sell btc safely for PP on: November 24, 2012, 09:18:02 AM
Hi, I'm TradeFortress here.

The key thing is that we are not directly trading with bitcoin. You buy a non-revokable currency with PayPal (it's pretty easy). You give that to me. I give you the coins, and then I sell my non-revokable currency for PayPal $$. So in reality I wouldn't even know if you chargeback or not, and I wouldn't care.

7404  Other / Meta / Re: Pirate PMs on: November 19, 2012, 07:24:29 AM
No trouble at all for me.

There are evidently a lot of people who don't like this guy and don't mind saying so anonymously.  Problem is no one wants to stick their neck out.

A lot of people are afraid of Trendon Shavers.

We saw as he manipulated hundreds of member of this forum.

We saw these form member begged for his attention and and opportunity to give him their precious bitcoin and then cower in fear and anticipation (of non-payment) over his admonitions.

There were hundreds of pages of Trendon Shavers dox on these boards and when Trendon Shavors made threats most of them disappeared.

People cowered in fear.

I can't fill out these form.  The people who have the first hand knowledge need to fill out these forms.

Who has the address of the Driveway they are sitting in?  Who knows the make and model of these vehicles?

These people are reading these threads.  They tell me so.

Hopefully some of them will come forward and take some action.

I'm just providing information.

It's too late now, I highly doubt that pirate@40 will be caught..

7407  Economy / Gambling / Re: bitZino - Provably Fair Bitcoin Casino - Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, Video Poker on: November 17, 2012, 12:17:05 PM
Hmm, I've got errors about it being open in another window or something frequently when I was playing on my iPhone over 3G. When I logged into my laptop and stopped playing it on my iPhone, same problem. Couldn't play / bet blackjack at all. Is this a known issue with accessing it from mobile browsers?
7408  Economy / Gambling / Re: SatoshiDICE.com - The World's Most Popular Bitcoin Game on: November 17, 2012, 12:15:58 PM
Lost Marginale (starting at 1 BTC, I had 24 BTC in total), but then I 50/50'd my remaining 8 BTC and won to 16 BTC. Then I played on 79% odds and got most of it back Smiley

7415  Other / Politics & Society / Google's Magic Keywords Influences Results Relating To Obama, not Romney on: November 06, 2012, 06:53:34 AM
Gabirel Weinberg have investigated Google's result personalization and has discovered that "magic keywords" (confirmed by the Wall Street Journal in their own study), Google has been significantly altering its search results to highlight Obama-related results, but not Romney-related results.

Magic keywords works by basing results based on previously searched terms. For example, if you search for "Obama" and then search for "Taxes", your actual search query becomes "obama taxes". This is only visible to the end user rather subtlety, and impacts the search results with pro-Obama content (due to the automatically injected magic keyword). This behavior does not apply to Romney.

Conspiracy? Romney missing the magical algorithm inclusion point? Google's political beliefs?

7418  Other / Off-topic / sometimesPositiveEV - bitcoin gambling idea on: November 05, 2012, 11:38:40 AM
How it works:
> Throw coins into a wallet.

50% of the coins are added to the jackpot.
28% of the coins are added to the side jackpot.
20% of the coins are added to the next jackpot.
2% of coins are kept by the house.

For every 0.01 BTC coin you deposit, you have a 1 in 10,000 chance of winning the jackpot, and a 1 in 100 chance of winning a tenth of the current side jackpot.

If the pot is 105 BTC, you have a positive EV.. and that's not even counting the side jackpot. Obviously at the start the EV will be less but the 20% that goes to the next jackpot could help.
7419  Economy / Gambling / Re: satoshiseleven.com - new gambling site on: November 05, 2012, 11:35:00 AM

7420  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: PayPal -> Bitcoins. No Rep Needed, Low Fees. L on: November 05, 2012, 11:33:36 AM
This involves currency conversation and I feel it is best suited for this subforum as it's relevant to those who wants to buy bitcoins.
