For those who are thinking of depositing in this "trading system", you'd actually get an return if you buy bonds of BTCINVEST on BitFunder

The reason why CAPTCHAs are useless is because some shady sites *reuse* other site's captcha.

You go to http://somesite.com/ and click on register.

Somesite queries a site with reCAPTCHA and copies the image, delivers it to you.

You enter the captcha.

Somesite sends what you enter to that site and checks if it lets them make a bot account or not.

Huh

I don't have to prove you are financially vested.  I did however observe that your actions are irrational and indicate that you are clueless, trolling, or vested (financially or for person gain) in the outcome of this topic.  The people I have brought to light in this topic and in the previous topic are engaged in illegal sales. The claims aren't baseless.  Sellers here are engaged in illegal secondary sales of unauthorized access codes and credentials which they gained through provisional access to database services.  You seem to want to ignore that.   Your actions indicate that you would prefer I go away because you want these sales to continue.

Yes, you have to provide proof of such accusations. A treaty isn't law, so get lost. Even the treaty doesn't say it's illegal.

You're involved in illegal activities, you did acknowledge that you're involved in NZB sites. NZB sites are illegal, since they contain links to illegal software or media files.

Example: http://www.binsearch.net/?server=0&max=250&g=alt.binaries.music&a=Shep%40shep.nl+(Shep)

As stated before I am unaffiliated with nzb sites. The treaty does indicate that unauthorized transfers of credentials or access codes are in fact illegal without explicit permission of the site owner or institution that granted provisional access for those credentials. That proof was given here.

Nice trick there with the database query, but anyone with half a brain and knowledge of database administration is not going to believe you. Now you have openly engaged in defamation (libel) in an attempt to discredit me by falsifying information.  Your true colors are revealed now. You are not going to fool anyone with your schemes. If you attempt to escalate and make a post to newsgroups it will reflect that your post occurred at this time and date and will be reflected as fraud. Your post is being reported to a moderator.

Anyone can try this gimmick

Example: http://www.binsearch.net/?server=0&max=250&g=alt.binaries.music&a=vampire%40vampire.nl+(Vampire)

two questions:

1) Are you a lawyer?
2) Are you being compensated in any tangible way for your activities on Bitcointalk.org?
7104  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin Video Poker! 0.005 BTC credits are here! [UPDATED 1/6/2013] on: January 08, 2013, 04:23:19 AM
You should consider opening API for the bots.

Hey!  Good thing you mention this.  We DO have plans to open up the platform for people to write their own playing bots.

That being said...there's nothing preventing anyone from issuing the service calls that the javascript frontend uses.  We certainly have no objections to anyone using bots to play our game.

So, since we plan on doing some refactoring and improvements to the API in the future, we're going to hold off on describing all the APIs formally, since we may be changing them....but do look for it:)

BTW, peerbet is pretty cool.  Nice job.  Consider making it not require registration:)
Do you mind sharing how the auto function works? Does it play perfect plays or was it crippled?
7105  Economy / Gambling / Re: bitZino - Provably Fair Bitcoin Casino - Blackjack, Roulette, Craps, Video Poker on: January 08, 2013, 04:21:23 AM
Wow, really nice! You can clearly see how the hands played increased after roulette was introduced to the site but it's becoming a bit less popular and blackjack seems to be the most popular game now..
7106  Economy / Services / Re: Digital Paintings || .5 BTC on: January 08, 2013, 03:19:29 AM
Do you have much experience drawing MMORPG-style 2D art for a browser game?

This is a pretty big project, happy to pay a fair price:

Base character images for different races, classes
Clothes, like helmets, armor, weapons, needs to go on the character images
UI designs, banners, menus, inventory slots, etc
Map of the game world, maps for specific areas

Let me know if you can handle this.

7110  Economy / Economics / Why I think Bitcoin will not become an national currency on: January 07, 2013, 02:08:40 AM
Bitcoin will be the de facto decentralized currency. Bitcoin's value will rise over time, but I don't think BTC will be an national currency. Why?

Half of the 22 mil coins have being distributed, to something like 0.001% of the population? That's just not going to work. People who do not own BTC will not want to get on board for it to be an official currency as it means their wealth will decrease.

7114  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Javascript ECDSA / Bitcoin address generation on: January 06, 2013, 10:00:41 AM
Look at bitaddress.org source code. It's very easy to read. Near the end there is the wallet details tab. You'll see there which functions are called to get the public key. Search back for the function and see how it's done.

This code is also good as a template for writing in other languages.
eg. some bits chopped out,
Code:
var ecparams = EllipticCurve.getSECCurveByName("secp256k1");

ECKey.prototype.getPub = function () {
if (this.pub) return this.pub;
return this.pub = ecparams.getG().multiply(this.priv).getEncoded(0);
};

ECKey.prototype.getPubKeyHex = function () {
if (this.pubKeyHex) return this.pubKeyHex;
return this.pubKeyHex = Crypto.util.bytesToHex(this.getPub()).toString().toUpperCase();
};
A bit more digging and should have it.
Thanks, did some testing but it's absolutely useless as an vanity address generator as it takes like 600ms to generate on a i7...
7115  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Javascript ECDSA / Bitcoin address generation on: January 06, 2013, 09:19:09 AM
I really can't figure out how to get the ECDSA public key of a private key in Javascript. I looked in SJCL but it apparently does it in some non-standard way and isn't compatible with everything else Huh

7119  Economy / Lending / Re: 2 BTC Loan, Rate Negotiable on: January 06, 2013, 07:02:05 AM
I am seeking a short-term BTC loan to help fund a portion of a hardware purchase I would like to make. Can pay back in 7-10 days and willing to negotiate on request. Willing to provide ID within reason to any trusted members of this forum.

I use the same name on -otc, would prefer to be contacted there, but you can also post in the thread or leave me a PM if interested.

Thanks in advance.
Did you use to run an irc bot on rizon?
