661  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin Really Hit $1 Million? Demirors Warns Halving May Have Zero Impact on: December 26, 2019, 06:10:30 PM
i think bitcoin can reach those high level 500k usd and even 1 million usd next years ; because everything is possible ;  who think in the past halving that prices can jump above 10000 usd per btc. the dream now is real and  prices jump from low level to high level

There is a huge difference between previous halving and the one which will take place next year as bitcoin was still alien thing for most of the people before the last Bull run so we didn't have as many whales investing into bitcoin like we have now and there were no price manipulation that time due to lack of whales and corporate investments but now market is filled with whales and corporates who manipulates the price for their benefits. I would be happy even if bitcoin hits $10k post halving.
662  Economy / Economics / Re: Is there formula for bitcoin price ? on: December 26, 2019, 05:55:24 PM
There will be no proper formula for bitcoin price as it depends on various factors and there will always be some new events or factor affecting the price of bitcoin negatively or positively. All we could do is just keep a track of market trend and act accordingly because we cannot gauge or define Bitcoin's fluctuation with any simply formulas.
663  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has gone up the past week. on: December 26, 2019, 05:43:04 PM
Yes, bitcoin has grown and this was expected and worth the wait. I would like to see the bullish mood today. It is also necessary to make $ 1,000 and raise the price of bitcoin to $ 8,400, and then a bullish mood is expected to reach $ 9,300 in January.

It would be great if this comes true but I would request you all not to make any hasty decisions based on recent fluctuations as it can change anytime and things can go other way around as well. Always have back up plans to cope up with unexpected events which are common with bitcoin.
664  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will 2020 be bearish as well? on: December 25, 2019, 06:22:39 PM
I observed that most altcoins increased in dollar prices when bitcoin is moving up. But a long bull run means disaster for altcoins. And many are expecting a long bull run on bitcoin next year primarily due to halving. I would probably sell my altcoins once bitcoin starts a massive price increase.

Yes, that's what I would be doing as altcoin will go through a bloodbath as one the bull run starts for bitcoin by default the users will shift their funds towards bitcoin and not sure if altcoin will ever recover but if we notice whenever the value of bitcoin increases the value of altcoin increases as well. I think we need to be cautious and on our toes to make the right move.
665  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is your thought about halving? on: December 25, 2019, 05:59:02 PM
Bitcoin has had enough of bearish market and for me, this halving is the only hope as of now wherein I can expect the price to pump hard as predicted by most of us but still things can go the other way around, I feel halving will provide a breakthrough to this ailing bitcoin market but still, we need to be prepared for the worst as predictions does not guarantee anything.
666  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price and Christmas. on: December 25, 2019, 05:48:38 PM
I have been witnessing this from the past 4 years, the value of bitcoin starts falling between Christmas and new year because most of the mid-level user cash out during this period for holiday vacations. I think this trend has already started this year as well as this year is not an exception.
667  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's up with XRP now? on: December 25, 2019, 05:20:55 PM
Why will whales invest into Ripple when Ripple's team does exactly what whales do as they just control the demand and supply to control the value of XRP and regardless of the investment Ripple will never have a good comeback as the development team just dumps more supply into the market during bull run and moreover users have learnt that XRP is a centralized token and has been worst performer for years.
668  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins getting delisted on: December 25, 2019, 05:16:30 PM
Old coins are still better than new coins, but not all old coins are good because only old coins whose projects are still running and have many partnerships, are good to keep, the lack of new coins is the project is still starting from scratch, can be successful or not.

The problem with them is very simple, they stop focussing on development once the coin gets listed and developers are least bothered to keep themself updated with the market as a result, the investors lose hope on the project and just shift their investment to newly added altcoins which comes with new features and they make the same mistake. The investment keeps moving from one project to another as altcoin lacks further development post listing.
669  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Will 2020 be bearish as well? on: December 23, 2019, 06:28:10 PM
We all are aware of bitcoin halving and most of the users are discussing about a possible bitcoin pump post halving which might or not not give pump to the value of altcoins. So do you think halving will provide openings for altcoins with a pump or altcoins will continue to be bearish in 2020?
670  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people still fall victim to obvious scam? on: December 23, 2019, 06:14:23 PM
The day people will understand that's crypto is not a quick money scheme or free money then we will see reduction in terms of scams as people just need money without hardwork and that's when cunning scammers scam these lazy people with their money. We need to learn about crypto and how it works before investing into it or believing anyone who claims to trade on behalf of us and give us profit.
671  Economy / Economics / Re: Your plan if no significant move on Bitcoin price along with the halving? on: December 23, 2019, 06:02:12 PM
But again what's the guarantee that the history will repeat again when it comes to Bitcoin price increase which you are waiting for?  Yes I do believe that the value does increase every year at some point of time but it's not as big as we are expecting as we have to settle for gradual increases.
672  Economy / Speculation / Re: When is the perfect time to sell BTC? on: December 23, 2019, 05:52:44 PM
It purely depends on your situation as this is not the best time to sell bitcoin as we are awaiting for a bull run in order to do that but if it's emergency then you can sell it, or else set an auto trade to sell off if the value falls and set a buy trade as well if the value pumps back. Example if the value is 10 then set sell value for 9.90 and set buy back at 10.1 as you will be safe in terms of pump or dump.
673  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Price Trend Reversal in Progress? on: December 23, 2019, 05:35:30 PM
We need to wait for couple of more weeks before making any decision as this looks temporary to me as we have witnessed similar spike in the value of bitcoin usually followed by a dump and I think it's a similar short term pump. I would suggest to monitor the market for at least 2 more weeks before cashing out or buying more.
674  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH - Going to 70$? on: December 21, 2019, 06:28:47 PM
Ethereum has already dipped below $70 in the past hence it might be possible as anything can happen but I feel Ethereum can go around $70 only if the market is dumped again by whales before the halving in order to buy at lower margin. Regardless of the dump Ethereum will bounce back and I think anywhere between $150 to $200 will be a stable Ethereum value before halving.
675  Economy / Economics / What if crypto vanishes? on: December 21, 2019, 06:20:10 PM
What will happen if crypto vanishes overnight or due to some or the other reason if crypto becomes inaccessible to public? I know this does not make sense as crypto will not vanish but still what if it happens? What about those huge chunk of investments made by whales and other investors?
676  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How and why to buy Stablecoins in 2020 on: December 21, 2019, 06:11:18 PM
I am not a fan of stable coins, because of several reasons. First of all, 90 percent of them are centralised. Secondly, what is the point of holding a stable coin, because it does not bring you any benefits. But if you want to invest in a stable coin, it should be DAI.

Even I am not a fan of stable coin as there is no point in buying and holding stable coins but that's not the purpose of stable coins as they are mainly used to convert your crypto asset post trading to avoid any loss as the value tends to fluctuate. I use stable coin just for conversion purpose like most of us do.
677  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which will be the most valuable altcoin? on: December 21, 2019, 05:00:58 PM
Bitcoin's will surely have good days ahead post halving but which will be the most valuable altcoin for 2020?  I vouch on Ethereum and Tron but I would like to know expert's opinion as it would help other members while choosing their altcoin investment as altcoin does pump along with bitcoin so those who cannot afford to invest into bitcoin can invest into altcoins.
If halving has an impact on altcoins, my choice will be top ones. Because there is no definite increasing expectation to take big risk. Maybe, we will earn less, but our loss will not be more as well. Also, considering that halving will influence bitcoin more, that is why diversify most of your funds to it.

Yes top altcoins will be favorites for everyone but it would help us if you can let us know about your favorite out of the top altcoins like I would vouch for Tron and Ethereum.  As our suggestions will help others to do their own research and consider out inputs in order for then to choose right altcoin to invest.
678  Economy / Speculation / Re: What’s your expectation on 2020 Halving year?! on: December 21, 2019, 04:43:12 PM
No more expectations as it always leads to disappointment and moreover we just need to make moves based on current market situation to secure for future instead of expecting because we never know when the market can be manipulated and all our expectations might ruin since there are so many whales eagerly waiting to make use of momentum for their gain.
679  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Will hit 5500 ? on: December 20, 2019, 06:00:23 PM
it seems that $ 5500 won't happen for now, $ 6500 has already been passed and bitcoin is now above it, maybe later Q1-Q2 Bitcoin is accumulated at $ 6500- $ 8000 before flying after halving  Grin

We are struggling to cross $8,000 mark again it's hard to believe that we have already crossed the mark of $10,000 twice this year because those were shortlived and the fact remains the same that bitcoin can go either way as it might go below $5,000 as well as above $8,000 within a short span of time if the whales and traders decide to turn the tide as they did in the past. I don't think we will see a stable market situation until the end of the halving post which the prices are expected to pump.
680  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Dogecoin Be a Good Investment in 2020 on: December 20, 2019, 05:52:27 PM
I think that DOGE in 2020 will be an excellent investment, although this project does not make much sense, but it can grow up very well.

On what basis? I know DOGE is loved by most of the users and it's often shared as meme and has minimal fee compared to other coins but they have not achieved much and they are still at the same stage where they were years ago wherein we see new projects every day with some sort of unique features which are market needs. I think DOGE needs to focus on further development in this competitive market if they want to be in the race.
