661  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling game is not good and everyone should stay away from it on: September 23, 2023, 11:12:55 AM
Everyone stay away from gambling game then you all will be happy and happy Gambling game is very bad which will harm your family a lot and will also harm your life like my father gambling ruined my father's life and also my future is dark now I am now  I came back to this bitcoin to find light in my life in this darkness you all help me shine.
Gambling responsibly. You can ruin your life if you gaming irresponsibly too as to play games, you have to buy many items for playing. It's enough to ruin your life.

Not only gambling requires you to spend money, gaming requires it too. If you let yourself addicted to anything, it is not good and can harm you and your life. Not only gambling or gaming. Trading or investment is harmful too if you are careless, addicted and irresponsibly.
662  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Is The Father After All on: September 23, 2023, 03:28:09 AM
Usually bitcoin moves in cycles, until now we get usually 3 good years and 1 very bad year, so I'm very curious to see if history is going to repeat itself once again.
The cycle comes together with Bitcoin halving that happens every four year. So Bitcoin cycle is about four year with 1 bullish year after halving but three previous years are not all bad. I agree 3 years before halving is bearish but only the first two years are very bearish and painful, a third year in a bearish phase is good enough because Bitcoin usually rallies very well as part of its warm up for a halving and bull run after halving.

Quote
On one side it looks like it's even too predictable, on the other side we are having the halving and ETFs (probably) all about the same time, so we are going to have a situation where there are going to be less bitcoin on the market (since usually miners sell a lot of the rewards to keep the system going) and funds with a ton of money ready to buy. Either way it's going to be very interesting.
Bitcoin Spot ETFs will help Bitcoin to explode in a bull run and I believe we will see a first Bitcoin Spot ETF approval in the USA. I think it will probably be approved next one or two years but hopefully a first Bitcoin Spot ETF won't be the end of 2024 and 2025 bull run. In 2017 bull run, after first two Bitcoin Futures, CME and CBOE, Bitcoin made its all time high but a few weeks later, it began a bear market.
663  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: September 23, 2023, 03:20:37 AM
Al Nassr headcoach, Luís Castro making enforcement to get his team together inother to compete in elite competitions, however there are other opponents who sets their priorities on SPL title, let's watch a competitive race this season. Al Nassr vs Al Ahli was unpredictable because both sides were competitive and strong, no would afford to give up the chances of losing three points. Al Nassr taking the lead with 3-1 victory in the first half still amazed me, second half was a comeback for the visitors but they didn't succeed in leveling the scoreline. Cristiano Ronaldo is a big-name and outstanding, his presence have improved the performance of Talisca who's also prudent infront of goal. Both players deserves accolades.
Both Ronaldo and Talisca scored goals for Al Nassr and helped their club having another win. Now Al Nassr already have 3 points less than a first club, Al Ittihad. One more match day and if Al Nassr win, other clubs don't win, they even can climb to a second position. It is a good improvement from Al Nassr after they started this season very bad with two losses.

Ronaldo scored goals but he wasted some opportunities too and ageing actually affects him a lot recent seasons even he already moved to Saudi Professional League that has lower level than leagues in Europe.
664  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin miners energy usage has exceeded 50%, where is Elon? on: September 22, 2023, 05:28:07 AM
Bitcoin is here since 2009 and where was Elon Musk in 2009 and a few years later?

He was not in Bitcoin community until the last bull run since 2020 or a bit sooner but he observed Bitcoin silently. He made noise in the last bull run but his love is not only for Bitcoin, but Dogecoin and more related to money. He loves money, what can help Elon making more money, he loves it.

Elon is also very chaotic with his mind and he does not care what the crowd talk about him. Expecting Elon to come back and response about what he said in the past is unrealistic and even he come back, answer, it will be just non sense answer.
665  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2023/24 Season on: September 22, 2023, 05:23:00 AM
I don't expect Liverpool to quickly return to their best performance, at least that's what it looks like at the moment because unexpected things are very likely to happen when their mainstay players suffer injuries or other things that we as the audience don't know for sure what makes Liverpool play quite badly last season that makes them get random results and can only make them play in the European league.
It's good return for Liverpool in this season, playing well in Premier League, just behind Manchester City, debuting well in Europa League. They are not perfect team and still need to improve but after winning over LASK in Europa League, they can return to Premier League and continue their fights.

They have good players for attacking to replace their trio years ago, Salah - Firmino - Mane but in defense, they might have some bad problems next two or three seasons. Van Dijk is older and Liverpool must plan to replace him as well as other defenders soon.
666  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Funding rate for make profit on: September 22, 2023, 02:08:33 AM
Not me but I see a lot of whales are doing this, they are playing around and making profits off the funding rate.
If you just understand easily these funding fees, I believe you can make some profits on it especially if you are using different exchanges with different funding rate and that's the time you can make also profits but be careful, it's still risky.
It is one of ways to get profit from trading and the market but I agree with you, it's risky to chase profit with funding rate.

The market is changing quickly and funding rate is more slowly with its changing intensity, each 8 hours. If we can not close our positions from trading, to have profit or a bit worse but still good, to have a draw, it's more risky if we let a position opens just because we feel an upcoming funding rate will give us profit.
667  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: September 22, 2023, 02:03:52 AM
He is still good as a striker. I don't know how stupid chelsea to let him go instead of using him as the main striker. it's caused by lukaku has better experience compared with jackson. Sheriff was almost making the result draw.
I can see that how lukaku was maximizing his physic to block three players who tried to prevent him from shooting. Even though lukaku has a disadvantage caused by he was horrible in one touch but he is having good physic to help him in shooting the ball accurately.
Lukaku had more problems with his body and physical fitness in the last two years but if he is ready physically, he is a good striker. Jose Mourinho is known as a coach who can boost mentality of his players a lot. We saw how some players like Materazzi, Drogba, Ibrahimovic many times saying like they are ready to die for Mourinho. With Lukaku, Mourinho can have another player like this as the Belgium striker needs trust from his coach and love from his fans. In Rome, he can have it as same as how Romanista and Mourinho treat with Dybala.

Quote
A good result from as roma. It seems like that lukaku will show his convincing performance under mourinho.
Lukaku has some good matches for Roma but it is only beginning and the season is long. He must take care of his body to contribute as much as possible for Roma during a long season.

I Think Roma impact on the world is evident, and Dybala is currently their most valued asset. His recently versus Empoli play demonstrated his commitment. Roma is relying on him for a productive season as they strive for a top-four finish. The mystery surrounding Mourinho contract situation makes it less likely that he will receive an extension. The team hasn't really stabilized since Lukaku joined.
With Mourinho, they had two final matches in Europe in two consecutive seasons and won a first ever title in Europe in Conference League. Last season they were just unluckily lost the Europa League final to Sevilla with some mistakes from the referee.

Roma squad was improved with some players come in the summer and they most joined Roma with loan transfer or free transfer. With those players, Roma has a better squad than the past season and they can think of fighting in both Serie A and Europa League.

Quote
If Roma fails to qualify for the Champions League, Mourinho contract might not be renewed. His power has been constrained by money issues. His most illustrious accomplishment was the unprecedented victory in the UEFA Conference League in 2022. The Europa League will be a major test this season, and Liverpool is a strong contender.
Ending Serie A at a position to join Champions League 2024 - 2025 will be one of biggest tasks for Mourinho and his players. After this season, Mourinho contract with Roma will expire and it's hard for Roma to convince him to stay if they won't complete this season well.
668  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2023/24 Season on: September 21, 2023, 07:11:48 AM
LASK - Liverpool FC

This is a game in which, on paper, Liverpool are favorites to win and have an odd that is not pleasant for me, 1.33 is a very low odds value in my opinion, because in this game Liverpool, despite being a team superior in terms of squad, they arrive at this game with some very important players injured, for example Trent Alexander-Arnold is injured and Mohamed Salah is also expected not to play. and darwin nunes also doesn't seem to me like he will play or if he did play it could be in the final minutes, so I predict that liverpool in this game could concede a goal and win with some small difficulty, and with that I see that this odds will increase, in case of an increase in the odds value to 1.70 and seeing how the game would be going, then I would take the risk of betting on Liverpool
Liverpool are on fire and they will meet LASK that are smaller than Liverpool in reputation. Liverpool will prioritize Premier League than Europa League but they will play to go as far as possible in Europa League. Before something bad happens with Liverpool squad like massive injuries, they will not lose their concentration for Europa League.

LASK will play at home but I doubt they can prevent Liverpool to end this match without three points.

AS Roma - FC Sheriff Tiraspol

This is another game in which a big league team plays against a small league team and the big league team is being seen as the favorite, although Roma had a good result in their last Serie A game against Empoli , the Roma coach made some interesting comments, he spoke about the physical condition of his players which is not in good condition and is hurting the team a lot, that's why he will have to make some changes in this game against FC Sheriff Tiraspol de so that it spares the players who have recently recovered, I see Bala not playing much in this game or even not playing at all, which is why in my opinion and looking at the sheriff's performance I wouldn't be surprised if this game ended in a draw, all in all. It will depend on the squad in which Roma starts playing
Roma is stronger than Sheriff and they just woke up with an emphatic win over Empoli in Serie A. Empoli even can be considered as a better team than Sheriff so mathematically Roma can beat Sheriff easily. I hope they will start Europa League with a winning to prolong their winning and start a win streak. They are currently a runner-up holder of Europa League and it's bad if they can not beat Sheriff.
669  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Funding rate for make profit on: September 21, 2023, 07:03:06 AM
I personally would rather have something that would be a bit more different in the end. I know that these type of things are done by a lot of people but I am not one of those people because of the risk OP basically talked about. He literally talks about the big risk, which is why I rather not do it at all.
I agree. We must be flexible with our actions that serve the ultimate goal, protecting our capital first. Profit from trading, profit from funding rate are all not important. They are second or third or lower important thing when we are trading. Profit is good, we all want to get profit but if we only think of profit, and forget about our initial capital, it's wrong, risky and can cause serious loss.

Regarding the TRB which was posted above, look at how much higher it went when the funding rate was already peaked. Basically people shorting which got squeezed. Looks amazing doesn’t it but how do you apply it to make a profit? You really can’t.

It kept squeezing and squeezing and squeezing, when would you enter a short? Or when would you enter a long? Both would of been difficult to time. So the funding rate helps but it’s not the entire picture. Maybe use technical analysis to help you on when to enter the trade.
Funding rate is derivative profit or loss for our trading. Our focus should be closing our position when we feel no longer safe as market shows dangerous signals. Exit it and if luckily enough, to gain small profit from funding rate, we can take it. But if we open our trading positions because of funding rate, because we think it can help us to get profit, it's very risky.
670  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Quality over Quantity on: September 21, 2023, 01:52:11 AM
It's always the short, concise, and well-formatted posts that I like and they are the ones that get the most merit too. If you want to write a large post to explain a certain subject, and you are not using formatting, you are doing it wrong.
Writing a large and long post does not make that post is quality but it is a trend from merit fishers. They try to hide their fishing works with long posts and try to confuse campaign managers with their long posts.

If I manage a campaign with 20 participants for each, have 5 campaigns, reading all of those posts if they are all long, is painful. So I will likely accept long posts as quality posts and those post fishers will get payments with no issue from post counting.

Quote
No offense to the users who like it vanilla and doesn't prefer using bold or italics in their posts however it just gives a better clarity to what as an OP, you want the user to focus on. Adding headings is also option but adds to the overall look.
Formatting can help to organize a post better but can not increase its quality too much. Quality first has to come from idea in the post, then format can help to polish it more and make your posts more friendly, readable for readers.
671  Economy / Economics / Re: Early Retirement [Pros and Cons] on: September 21, 2023, 01:45:41 AM
There's a certain age that one should reach before one thinks of being retired from work. It would be unwise for someone who is filled with productivity at a young age to think of retirement just because he or she is a millionaire. Human beings as we are, need something that will at least make us get involved in what will facilitate our body system all the time. Leaving our body system without internal and external stimulation will leave us less depressed over time even with our money.
Being rich like a millionaire or billionaire is not enough condition to retire from works. I agree with you that a person must be matured and experienced enough to have good financial management before officially retire from works.

Many stories from celebrities who earned millions or billions of dollar during golden times of their career but later in their life, they were broken financially. It partially raises importance of being matured enough for retirement. You can be rich, super rich but it is not enough to secure your finance later.

Quote
We should at least get our bodies and brains busy all the time because when you get your body system to less function, it develops an unknown fault that can destroy your well-planned retirement.
Starting a retirement is great but we should be ready to get back to work any time because life is never rosy.
672  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: September 20, 2023, 02:46:40 PM
it is clear that Bissaka's injury is a loss and a problem for United's defense. Ten Hag will definitely be very confused about this, and there are not many names he can choose to face Munich. today maybe United will give up on Munich if their performance is not much different from before.
Ten Hag really had problems in defense. and losing Bissaka will certainly open up even more gaps. Maybe this will be Munich's opportunity to score lots of goals.
In the last season, when Ten Hag came and did not use Bissaka, many people thought it's the end for Bissaka's career in Manchester United but somehow he managed to get a position in the squad back. In this season, Bissaka gets a good position in the club and his missing by an injury even becomes a big problem for Manchester United. Ten Hag will have more issues with Manchester United defense system when in next matches, he will not have Bissaka.

Quote
look at United's performance in the first 5 matches in the Premier League. of course fans won't like it. Even though there is still quite a long way to go in the season, if Ten Hag doesn't do something in United's defense, I'm sure this half of the season will be bad for United.
Those matches are nightmare for Manchester United and they brought this bad form to Germany and face with one of strongest clubs in Europe, Bayern Munich. It is a high mountain for Manchester United even if they have best squad for the match. In reality they have some players who cannot play in Munich but the opponent is ready to beat Manchester United with Harry Kane and support from some good attacking midfielders.
673  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Funding rate for make profit on: September 20, 2023, 02:15:09 AM
I noticed that traders are using the funding fee to manipulate the market, although we can not call it manipulation too because they want to make profit, but they can also lose. That is trading. If you are trading these less volatile coins with high funding fee, you will noticed what that I am talking about.
To manipulate the market, market makers use more tools than funding rate. I consider funding rate as one of consequences of market manipulations. It is not a cause of market manipulation but it is one of results from manipulation.

Funding rate is like supply and demand of amateur traders with loan in the market. It shows their demand and sentiment, greed or fear. You can look at funding rate to guess the market sentiment but it is not enough to have an overview of the market. Funding rate, trading volume, zoom out the chart to see a general trend of the market.

I will use different wallets for different use cases. I don't feel safe to use a wallet for everything, every chain and to store all my capital in that wallet.

Multi-chain can bring convenience but by multi-chain using, I will interact with more smart contracts on different chains. Each smart contract contains risk like approve access to my wallet. My wallet can be hacked if I interact with bad smart contracts from scammers.

675  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers on: September 19, 2023, 11:22:13 AM
as kicker just reported, the deal between fcb and dfb regarding Julian Nagelsmann is through. JN will become the new national coach of germany and will then receive a ten-month contract until the end of the european championship and will coach the dfb team for the first time on the international trip to the usa from october 9 to 18.
Honestly do you think it is a good choice for Germany team?

Nagelsman failed to succeed in Bayern Munich not because he is not talented but because of his age is too young. Many star players in Bayern Munich likely did not respect Nagelsman enough and it is issue of Bayern Munich in the last season. Bayern Munich in their turn, always contribute many players for German team so the problems from Bayern Munich will be seen on German team again.

Problems of German team not only come from Hansi Flick but also come from quality of their players. Recent years, Germany don't have good strikers and after Miroslav Klose, Mario Gomez, it's hard to find a good striker at world class level for their national team. It is big problem in big tournaments like World Cup and Euro and only Nagelsman with a few months is not enough to resolve this big problem.
676  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Never Marry a Coin/Project - Practically Example on: September 19, 2023, 10:36:16 AM
I can really relate here. I remember my early days in the cryptocurrency market. I exchanged my Bitcoins to these random altcoins, which instead of just taking profits from my Bitcoin profits or just hold it only for Bitcoin, I should've become more profitable instead and not losing a lot.
Altcoins look very promising and attractive because they can rise 100%, 200% within 24 hours or a few days. With Bitcoin, it won't happen with its big marketcap nowadays. Newbies are disguised by such big rises within short time but they don't know risk with altcoins are very big, bigger than Bitcoin.

Even Proof of Work altcoins can die with time so other types of altcoins that can be minted, without Proof of Work, are very risky. They can be dumped by founders, developers and can be abandoned when the market trend is gone. Developers will come back to create new altcoins that match with a newest trend. Old altcoins will be dead ones and investors will only can look those altcoins in their wallet, without value on cryptocurrency market.
677  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: September 19, 2023, 02:16:15 AM
I think Milan will win against Newcastle, At least a draw.
And this is a good moment for Pioli not to forget the fans who fought everyone to regain their club glory.

Newcastle's comeback in the Champions League after two decades of absence.
The Toon Army must prove they are worthy of a place in the Champions League.
With many injured players, Joe Willock, Emil Krafth and Joelinton. It's going to be tough.
In this group, don't lose is an acceptable result because you don't let your opponent to get great advantage after a match. However, getting one point is never a success and I am sure every club in this group will try to win their matches if possible. Winning two matches in this group will give a club very good advantage in their race with other clubs.

Newcastle United have many injured players that affected their performances in Premier League. It can be continued in Champions League with limited player resource they have for the match with AC Milan. We also have to take into account their lack of experience in Champions League. AC Milan after some latest seasons in Champions League and the last successful season, will have more experience and confidence in a match with Newcastle United. They also need a win to temporary exit their crisis after a big defeat by Inter Milan last week.
678  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Let's share some tips among ourselves. on: September 19, 2023, 02:08:24 AM
What criteria do you use when buying and selling? Let's share some tips and expertise.

For me, the three most significant factors are as follows:
1. Bitcoin halving.
When you use your money to trade or invest, you must be clear about risk. If it is a money from loan, risk is bigger. You will have pressure from loan expiration, loan repayment and loan interest. You sometimes will not be able to control when you close your positions. If loan expiration comes and you don't have good plan, you will have to exit your positions with loss even you don't want to close them.

Bitcoin halving is big event in cryptocurrency market but it does not bring profit to all investors and can not help all projects grow in value. Altcoin projects must be built up by altcoin developers and it has nothing related to Bitcoin halving.
679  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Trade Deficits on: September 18, 2023, 07:54:59 AM
In order for this not to become a problem in the long run, there would have to be goods/services that could only be (or at the very least are much better to be) purchased in bitcoins, forcing people to exchange fiat currency for bitcoins and closing the trade deficit.
If you want to have stable source of income for a business or for your portfolio, you can choose fiat currency with assumption that fiat currency will be fine, not hyper inflation and no serious loss of its purchasing power after a while.

Even the US. dollar lost its purchasing power over time, so be careful even you pick fiat currency.

If you pick a volatile asset like Bitcoin, you have to accept risk as a business owner, a store operator or an investor, you can not have both stability of price and chance to get profit or low, zero risk factor.
680  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: September 18, 2023, 12:31:14 AM
5 points after 5 rounds is completely fucked up, of course  Grin I don’t think that the parallel failures of United and Newcastle somehow reassure Chelsea fans because it was supposed that this would be a season for them with a complete focus on the Premier League (while other clubs are putting their energy into European competition), but so far there is nothing but failures. And I don’t think that Pochettino has time until January, if the team does not start defeating at least weak and average opponents, he will be fired.
Chelsea have a very shameful start in this season as a big club, having only 5 points after 5 matches are so less convincing result from them. After spending lot of money for player transfers in the last two years, they still did not improve their quality. The past season is a mess but they did not show their improvement after this summer. With this performance from Chelsea, it's very hard for them to improve good enough to climb up to top positions of Premier League. They have more challenge from good performances for Tottenham and Newcastle United and the race to top four can be out of Chelsea reach after first half of this season if they and competitors maintain their performances like recently.

Yes, the match was quite difficult for Arsenal because Everton were able to maintain their defense well in the first half, but Arsenal, with their strength this season, were able to steal a gap to score a goal in this match. Arsenal finally managed to win this match with a narrow score which kept them close to Manchester City this week.
Arsenal totally dominated the match but their players did not have enough patience to finish opportunities better. In some situations, if their attacking players simply hold the ball one to few seconds, to make opponent defenders surprised, they can finish those opportunities better. Shot immediately gave those defenders chances to block those shots. Anyway Arsenal eventually had a winning goal from Trossard with a very sensitive touch for his finish.
