I think for the first match in group A this is already completely Bayern's if you look at the condition of Manchester United now.
Their attacking line is having problems, their midfield is also not contributing well and is always losing moves and their defence is really bad because for now they are too weak for a club like Manchester United.
Given the disparity I wouldn't even hesitate to place my bet on Bayern in this match as their domestic form won't change too much for this early match.
But looking at the clubs in Group A to qualify for the knock out phase I think it's still possible for Untied to do so even if it's only as runners up.

Yes, Bayern Munich looks stronger and they are also in a good form. They will play at home, too. These are 3 big reasons for Bayern Munich to win the first match of UCL competition this year. Man United still can't maintain their good performance. Their attackers actually played quite well in the last season although their defense never improved their performance. Man United only has good midfielders.

Sure, it is not impossible for Man United. There is always a chance to qualify for the next round. But I am sure Bayern Munich has a better chance to qualify than Man United. When Bayern will play against Man United at home, surely you are better to bet on Bayern Munich.

The current situation is getting more interesting on bookmakers' side though. The odds of Milan and Newcastle are the same right now. Newcastle are almost about to become the new favourite side of this game. But I still don't agree with this change. Bookmakers started to think quite negative after Milan's defeat. But I believe that they still have a strong mental to beat Newcastle home despite the 5-1 loss against Inter in the Serie A. I'm going to go for a single bet not to increase the risk rate.

You're right, there is such doubt about Manchester United's chances that some people seem reluctant to bet on their chances. Ten Hag certainly needs to fix that problem well especially to let people know he has what it takes, but his job is tough these days.

It's quite interesting that Newcastle and AC Milan, I think I will also bet on AC Milan, because they are still considered to have good players in my opinion compared to Newcastle's game which is getting worse in the EPL these days, even though they have made significant development and are in a good position. better in the previous EPL, but today they seem to be lame and have difficulty returning to their best performance. I doubt if Manchester United have the same opportunities as other of their group teams. Judging from the four-team performance in their various leagues, Manchester United has a less performance when compared with others.
Manchester United is disorganized in terms of winning both the small and big matches and they are ought to be in their best form and performance to be the second team to qualify out of their group stage. From the look of things, Manchester United are not capable for that. Manchester United result will only begin to change unless Ten begins to work on Manchester United team players before then to have a strong mentality that they can get them to qualify out of the Champions League group stage. I think that acmilan will not even take the loss against intermilan as it would be affecting its mentality. Acmilan will be hosting the first game, which is also possible for the club to win against newcastle even with small margin. Newcastle is strong team and i guess if howe's team will be playing defensively against acmilan. Milan's odds are pretty good but i don't know why bookies were also putting the same odds to the acmilan whic is surprising me. It seems like that bookies were not taking host the game as a big advantage for acmilan.

Im still thinking of taking BTTS instead of picking milan win in my multibet as this will be much safer than it. Im still feeling confusing. The performance from acmilan will not be that bad but the chance for BTTS to happen is also bigger compared with milan win the game.

Well that group looks really quite interesting because like you said apart from Bayern Munich who everyone knows will definitely rain supreme the rest teams are of same quality to qualify and that includes Manchester united aslo although I would class Copenhagen a little bit less when it comes to champions league football experience but that's doesn't mean they can cause upset in the group. I am waiting with UEFA Champion League opening match between AC Milan vs Newcastle United, seems excited with Newcastle United are first participating after not participant in Champion League for longer time.
