661  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anonymity vs. KYC: The Pros and Cons of Cryptocurrency Exchanges on: February 23, 2023, 07:42:58 PM
In many cases of customer identity abuse, we try to avoid KYC on many websites. Still, we can't do it, especially now that more and more exchanges require their customers to do KYC. But we are still lucky because we can still find exchanges that do not require detailed KYC and can use those exchanges to trade as usual. Hopefully, those exchanges can maintain their customers' confidentiality by not abusing it for illegal things. Hopefully, the exchange won't let hackers try to take it from the exchange server database.
It's not only about the potential abuse on why people avoid KYC but it's also because KYC is too hassle to do and then it invades ones privacy. We can't control the rise of the KYC on many websites but luckily there are still sites who don't comply with it. We can always choose to use those sites.

As long as the website is legit and you are willing to hand out your KYC, then you shall not worry because they won't likely leak you data to other companies that they know. It will be better if they store the KYC away from their server so that once their site got hacked, the users KYC's are still safe. Along with that is they must tighten their security so that hackers won't have the chance to access them.
662  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers on: February 23, 2023, 07:06:38 PM
After the previous World Cup, everyone thought that France would be at least among the winners of the next Euro, but in the end they lost right away in the 1/8 finals. Such short tournaments are always random, but the fact is that we are now in an era of French dominance and they will be the biggest favorites to win the European Championship.
I am not sure whether the French will be the favorites to win Euro 2024. I could see a lot of vulnerabilities in their performance during Qatar 2022. IMO, Spain and England are far better teams, although they couldn't perform well during the last world cup. Regarding France, I always had this opinion that their players are overrated. Kylian Mbappé, Paul Pogba and Karim Benzema are good players and maybe some of the best in the world. But they don't know how to play as a team and the team cohesion is lacking in the French team whenever they play.
The guys who almost won the World Cup just a few months ago and lost because of the penalty shootout, have some vulnerabilities? I mean sure they might, but I am sure that it must be less than any other team if you ask me, they are still by far the best team in Europe, which they proved just a few months ago and not too long ago, and in 1.5 years time, they won't be having too much changes neither.

They won't even need Benzema in this case, because they would have Mbappe playing striker and that is more than enough for them. They have so many amazingly talented players and that is good enough for them in the long run, can't see any better team right now.
663  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the bitcoin price continue to increase? on: February 23, 2023, 04:58:59 PM
Paying attention to Bitcoin's path over the past few years and when experiencing a Crash of course Bitcoin always recovers it, and is able to reach the latest ATH in the usual period of 4 years later, If you draw conclusions and use this cross as a Guide, it should be 4 years later Bitcoin will create ATH it's only the year 2025 that will come, paying attention to market movements now also gives clues that this will happen, as is happening in the Bitcoin market which is experiencing price improvements which are increasing every day slowly.
That is already started, which is why I am so happy about it. If we look at it, 2017 was a good year and so was 2021, and 2018 was a bad year and so was 2022, and by that logic 2019 will be 2023 which will be a decent year, not the best year ever but a year that had a x2 from start to finish, we started with 3.5k and ended with 7k, which I assume could be similar here, start at 16k or so, finish at 32k, makes sense.

And if we continue down that path, 2020 will be 2024 which will be a very good year, start of bull, it will go very high, 20k+ levels back then, which means it could be reaching close to ATH prices, either will break just a bit, or barely won't break it. Then 2025 should be the best year ever recorded.
664  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting strategy question on: February 22, 2023, 03:10:29 PM
there are some exceptional gamblers who make money in gambling, especially in games with less or no house edge, such as sports betting and card games.
Sports betting might not have an house edge but I think they only earn a some commissions but for the card games, what I know is that they do have an house edge and blackjack must be the smallest of them all.

Hunting big amount meaning you are risking that same amount also , and the games created specifically for the owner to win and just the piece of cake that is for the players.
Yes, it is true. The games are designed for the house to win but like @maslate said, there are still a few who can win. Hunting big amount doesn't always mean that you will need to deposit the same amount or more than that. I already experience to win at 1kx multiplier with only a tiny bankroll. There are some users that I see who can hunt higher multipliers than mine within a few rolls only but this is extremely rare because if not then no casino will survive this way and it's going to be an easy money for the gamblers.
665  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price guess, 2023 on: February 21, 2023, 09:09:23 PM
With what is happening now? I think i will do believe in 30-40k usd because I have a positive views and belief in what i am seeing now  Grin

will break that winning votes of 20-30k because I love this to happen in the mid of this year.
and what is the next? and that is 2024 that we will break 50k again.
I believe in that as well. I can see this year being above 40k, but at the bare minimum being over 30k. My understanding was that it will be x2 this year, maybe more along the way but will drop to being x2 by the end of it.

This made me think that it could be 40k+ because we have been above 20k for a long time, but at the same time the bottom was at around 16k or so just recently, which means that something like 32k could be the new price during this year, or by the end at least, but if we take 20k into consideration and how long we have been there, I have to say that 40k+ would be possible as well. I think we won't be breaking ATH this year though, that's a job for next year.
666  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the bitcoin price continue to increase? on: February 21, 2023, 12:01:23 PM
It is normal for Bitcoin prices to rise. Because it is already noticed that in the past the price of Bitcoin was 69k dollar. But from there Bitcoin price started dumping and touched 15k dollar. And now Bitcoin price is at 24.8k dollar so we are in a small bull run. Bitcoin price continues to rise without any media news. So if there's a big futurist good news for Bitcoin, it could be a long way into a big bull run where past prices can be crossed. So we should invest in Bitcoin right now.
In the last few days, the increase in Bitcoin has started, even if only in a small way and sometimes there have been some price corrections that occurred some time ago, but Bitcoin has been able to recover it, in the sense that Bitcoin is moving upwards or Bitcoin's growth will increase. this has become a natural thing, after all Bitcoin has marked ATH a few years ago, this increase has naturally occurred which is where we have been at the bottom for so long.
That is the natural trajectory of bitcoin and will always stay like that. It does have some down years, but in the end it breaks above the ATH eventually, usually every 3-4 years, it was 2014 or so, then 2017 and then in 2020 we started to go up but broke it in 2021, which means that by 2024 or 2025 we are going to have a much much higher ATH again, maybe not everyone believes this but it will happen no matter what. That is why I am quite happy with what I got and will always be happy about it.

Just do not force your purchasing, don't buy because it will go up eventually and hurt your finances, invest when you have money that you can risk and not worry about.
667  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what do you expect from cryptocurrency? on: February 20, 2023, 08:59:09 PM
I am one of those people who do not have much wealth, my hope from cryptocurrency is to multiply small capital into large capital, so that it can improve my household's economy. of course I have to be determined to set aside a small part of my remaining money to buy bitcoin, and I consider that as a replacement for my pocket money, so that even though there are high fluctuations in its movements, I remain calm, and later the money will double so I can open a business real estate or buying safer assets, as part of diversification
I am also an average person who has small wealth. By investing in crypto, I expect that I will increase my economic level someday. If you expect to have a real estate business, I just dream to have any business that can be my main job in the future. It is the right way to buy Bitcoin or any top altcoins, they will make us to have an opportunity of having a better future. Although no guarantee for a success, we can see a big chance for it by seeing the history of bearish-bullish season.
After reading yours and many others same wishes, I realized that maybe I have been discrediting the amount of wealth that could be generated by crypto. I always used crypto in a way that it would help me keep my purchasing power, maybe the dollar amount would go up, but what can buy one ice cream today, should grow to be dollar amount of one ice cream 20 years later as well, instead of losing its value to inflation.

Obviously that is not what people aim at, they want to make sure that they could make a profit even bigger and larger than that, and I am guessing that I have been asking far too little from my crypto future, maybe one day I will get hopeful about something like that too.
668  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is the future of bitcoin without powerful nations? on: February 20, 2023, 07:40:45 PM
What do you is the future of bitcoin at this point?
Do nations or people have power over bitcoin price regulations?
(...)
For me, this kind of issue will not matter at all since Bitcoin was created to be decentralized like everyone can use Bitcoin. So for me, this is not the point at all because even how powerful a nation is it can't control Bitcoin, they can't take down Bitcoin or what.
Yeah, they can't control Bitcoin but they can still be able to ban Bitcoin so that no one on their country can use it. What do you think can happen after this? Well, there will be no more adoptions so the price will either be stagnant or it will decline since a Bitcoin being banned in some nations is a kind of bad news and we all know that there are people who panic sells after they hear such news.

I just want to say that talks like this matters a lot because it can make or break Bitcoin. We don't know if what future awaits with Bitcoin but at this point, Bitcoin is now doing great and we expect that it will perform better these upcoming months and years.
669  Economy / Gambling / Re: What do you appreciate more Desktop or Phone on: February 20, 2023, 06:42:58 PM
most gamblers definitely have their own time to be able to play gambling, whether it's only for a short time or indeed there can be time to gamble all day long.
It all depends on their busyness.
For the problem of using a PC or cellphone, it is certain that every gambler has different choices and opinions. It is impossible to compare one gambler with another gambler.
If the problem of questions like this continues to be continued, then there is only an endless debate because every gambler is sure to have an advantage and say that only his choice is the most correct and correct.
I think most people will have in common and that is they work in a 9 to 5 job so they prolly gamble at night time. If not then it will be move on weekends because this is their rest days and they will have more time to play gambling during these times.

If playing for short time only then I think it's best to use your phone because turning on the pc will take much time and you will just turn it off after. IDK but it feels so tiring each time I imagine this. Each gambler are not the same, that is why they are being compared but this isn't a big deal. People are only doing this for entertainment purpose and to know if what are the advantages and disadvantages of each other.
670  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Everton Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: February 19, 2023, 09:31:00 PM
There was a good question asked earlier in another thread (or was it reddit?) and I wonder about the same thing as well. Stake will be in formula one finally, and that is a huge deal, around 30 million a year from what is reported, no idea if that is true or not but that is what we saw in the news.

I think one important question about this is the fact that some nations do not allow gambling nor gambling ads, which means in some places Stake can't be their sponsor, there were a few others for example and they had to be removed on those, will it be the same here as well? Will it be removed and everything will be alright again, or will it stay and there is a workaround for it?
671  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitnity.com - a community-driven gambling platform on: February 19, 2023, 09:13:11 PM
From what I have understand, they are going to choose 10 people randomly and the 10k $BTNTY tokens will be divided equally, so each person will receive 1k tokens on their account that is equivalent to $5  Tongue
Not 10k $BTNTY, that would be $100k $BTNTY divided with 10 so that might be worth the gas price. Bit i don't think there will be much staking going on yet. So far 0.62% of the tokens are staked.

But i have a mixed feelings about this as they haven't answered yet.
Their telegram announcement channel that has 3k subscribers, twitter has 6,790 Followers but can see from the explorer that they have under 100 token holders. I don't find that comforting. I know that trying to make new casino to combat big ones or even fit in could be nearly impossible job but i feel like buing used twitter account with more followers for marketing isn't a way to go.
The casino is relatively new, so that is obviously one of the reasons why they are not getting enough stakers nor many participants for the giveaway. Their official tweet only got around 480 views and 19 retweets which is not a lot considering they published the tweet a couple of days ago. I think they need to work more on their marketing campaigns along with giveaways and everything if they are really serious about running this casino.

Also, I've noticed they haven't been really active from the last couple of days, after the announcement. No retweets, no nothing, and that is probably the reason why they haven't answered any questions yet.
672  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Beginner Averaging future trading. on: February 19, 2023, 08:32:25 PM
In trading, your capital is your biggest asset and everything depends on liquidity that is why stop losses are important, you cannot hold onto a losing trade because you are not only losing this trade but also other potential trades. DCA is used more in longer-term trades or positional trading where you don't rely on liquidity. Where you just want to set aside the amount in a currency you have already done analysis with.
Yes, trading with DCA in futures is definitely not making sense. With the same capital, with strong technical analysis, they could have made at least 10x more profits within the same time frame. People are simply ignoring then value of time invested along with capital. Such people are sticking with futures trading for no reason as in my opinion, they are all only suitable for long term holding and not even for spot trading.

If you are ready to DCA then holding is the best option for you. In futures trading, you need to pay excess fees for availing leverages on day to day basis. Holding with DCA plans along with those leverage fees might have got at least 2x more profits give that bitcoin is in bullish mode right now.
673  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: February 19, 2023, 07:09:01 PM
Only losers focus on excuses like pitch, toss etc instead of accepting the fact that they lost which is all that matters at the end of the day.
But, you cannot ignore the rumors that India pitches are specially curated to suit spin and low bounce against non-Asian teams. When Dhoni was captaining and Australia was playing similar 4 test series in 2013, there were rumors like he was emailing officials for curating pitches for India team suitable. If the last 2 matches lasted for 4 or 5 days then we cannot weigh those rumors.

Still, as all the countries are doing this similar tactics these days, we need to accept and move-on like advantage of home conditions.

If they would have batted till 200-250 once again, then this match would have easily gone till 4th or 5th day.
When the pitch is prepared with more cracks for suiting spin attack, you cannot expect high scores in 2nd innings so result is possible inside 3rd day.
674  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: February 19, 2023, 06:29:04 PM
As a result of this Barcelona's away match, the Barcelona team would not have faced too many problems. Because the Manchester United team is not very strong at home. However, several key Barcelona players will not make the squad. Barcelona's main strength this season has been their midfield. Of course, without players like Dembele and Gavi in the squad, Barcelona will face a huge problem. But if Lewandowski performs well, Barcelona's chances of winning are high. We don't see a better performance from Lewandowski in the last match. And in a high-voltage match, the team expects a lot from an experienced player like Lewandowski.
I think there is going to be a bit more story to this game as well. United might be bought by Qatari person very soon, not that it would be official until the game starts that much is true but it could be unofficially done deal, and if that happens then we are talking about a whole new ownership of the club. In that situation there will be an added story, basically de facto first game of the new owner, once again not officially but it could be handshake deal done by that point.

This could have two responses by the team, either United will play amazingly so that they would keep their positions, or they will play even worse because they would worry about their positions in the future.
675  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: February 18, 2023, 09:23:30 PM
The Europa League matches are actually always equal performances. That's why I expect matches where we won't be surprised which side wins. But the most important match between them is of course Barcelona-M.united. Both teams seem to be the favorites of this cup. So whoever wins that match, the other favorite team will say goodbye.
The only surprising result was the Sporting match. Despite playing a dominant football they couldn't defeat their opponent on their own field.
Indeed, the European league matches so far have been a little surprising, the team that should be the seed can only achieve a draw. In my opinion, in the second leg, all the teams will play to the fullest to catch up on aggregate or even win the match for the team that got the previous draw. Now is a difficult time for some of these teams and I think Manchester United, Juventus, Sevilla, Sporting, Monaco, Salzburg, Ajax and Rennes will qualify for the quarter-finals.
Thanks to these games, it will become a bit of "whoever wins this, goes next" and like a single game elimination basically. There are of course cases where you can win and still not go further, like PSV could win 2-0 and still will lose on aggregate basically, but most of the games ended in a draw and those games will matter a lot, there is no breathing room, it's going to be 90 minutes of fighting hard to win, and that will take a while of their life for sure, it's not going to be that simple.

Let's hope that people will end up with some good games to watch and better results to bet, because last time was a little harsh, I am hoping next games to bring in some more profit.
676  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fake paid promotions on Twitter on: February 18, 2023, 06:44:21 PM
I know it's a bit OT, but this reminded me of the "live Tesla stream" from a hacked YouTube account with 1+ mil subscribers. It was in my YT feed at the beginning of this week, and it was extremely convincing.
This is going to become more problematic as deepfakes are getting better and the tools to detect them are not as good, however even if at some point they get better and were as good as our spam filters, the only thing a scammer needs to do is to create hundreds of them and one of them will eventually pass those filters and reach a large audience which will follow the advice given by a celebrity supposedly endorsing a scam.

Eventually the video will be taken down, but by the time this happens it will be too late for those which were unable to tell it was a false video.
If the account that they hacked often do live streams showing their face then they need to apply deep fake to mimic their face but does deep fake allows us to copy a non-famous face? Or does it allow you to upload a face of someone else? Because most that I see on deep fake videos are celebrities. If it's possible then what about their voice?

But, I think there are also voice changers which can work the same as deep fakes. They may also let you upload your own chosen voice. This is bad. Did the inventors of those tools didn't realize that their inventions can be use for taking advantage of someone else? It would be better if those software will be taken down for good.
677  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 17, 2023, 08:53:34 PM
Is it possible that Carlo Ancelotti is preparing for a big transfer?

I think so, there are strong indications that this should happen and I don't see anything against it... quite the contrary, as Real Madrid agrees to release Ancelotti after June and the Brazilian team also accepts waiting until then.
For now, the Brazilian team has already appointed Ramon Menezes as interim coach.
Staff's trip to Brazil is also a great indication that this should come to fruition.
Ancelotti also has a very good resume that the Brazilian team is looking for.
Still, in the last press interviews, what was most asked about Ancelotti's interest in Brazil, and he never vehemently denied it, always in a joking tone. Also, he has a strong connection with former Brazilian players, such as Kaká and Ronaldo Fenômeno.
The Spanish language is also a "facilitator" for Ancelotti to play his role in Brazil without major communication problems with Brazilian players and officials.
I agree, but not all transfers are made by managers neither, which means that team could still make some big moves, even if it is not made by Ancelotti. They bought a young kid from brazil for such a huge amount, and Ancelotti will never see him play there, he will be in Brazil by that time, maybe he had something to do with it because of his future role, but I still think that it was just the management and not the manager, they are different.

This will probably be an active summer for them, going to find a striker that they could play after Benzema retires and even though he won ballon d'or just recently, he hasn't been looking good at all this season.
678  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bye Bye Bear Market :) on: February 17, 2023, 08:19:59 PM
The retest has presently started already. There is also a weakening of the pump. I have not looked at cryptocoin charts many times since the beginning of the bubble pop, however, the RSI and the price have shown a bearish divergence since the first week of February.

I speculate this retest might show the opposite where bitcoin might create a higher low and RSI will create a lower low. A bullish divergence hehehe.
That means higher low could get it higher in the next run. I know that it is going to be something to wait for, but if we stay at above 23k, that means the next time we have an increase like this, reaching above 25k would be easier, and eventually if we fail that too, we are going to have even higher low and keep doing that until we are just right at the door of 25k and reject going down, which would be awesome for all of us.

I know it is not that easy to make these kind of predictions and charts are not always right, but that is what we have to face in order to accept the future, that's just how awesome our future looks and there is nothing to worry about getting a little hyped.
679  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bye Bye Bear Market :) on: February 17, 2023, 07:40:30 PM
I dont disagree but the retest is where I have more confidence.  The low prices more then the high prices is where I find accuracy is best given for prediction and the backbone to trends.    We do have weekly, 50 and I hope soon 200 day averages moving upwards.   When all that is true is best to be biased to the upside but I wont assume just yet, sincere optimism seems totally correct but I'll wait this month out and some.
So breaking this downtrend line is good, but once we have also pulled back yet kept this former regular negative as the very lowest price then I find we are very likely with positive bias.
With the way things are now, I am pretty sure that we are not in the bear market right now. People think that it should be 60k+ before we are out of the bear market because we fell down, but as long as we are not in a red market that means we are not in the bear market.

Considering the huge amount of money that is going into bitcoin lately and the way we quickly go up, it is a proof that we are no longer in the bear market anymore and we should be quite happy with the way it is right now. I know it is not going to be as simple as just "hey forget about the year and a half long bear market and be happy" because that takes time, but reality doesn't wait for you.
680  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin start rising up what coin is good for investing right now for short term on: February 17, 2023, 07:01:59 PM
I see that btc almost hit 25k$ this morning and i believe that if btc rise 25k$ most of the altcoins will also rise or follow btc trend, so i think this time will be the very best time to decide what altcoins can give us profit in short term investment if you have any suggestions please extend or let me know.
I am not great at finding out about the short terms, I am usually pretty terrible at it. But by the looks of it BNB has been kicked in the nuts for a while now, along with BUSD of course but that's stable so we ignore that. This means that while we are going up, BNB has been taking a beating and after that is done, it could go up a little bit more.

I am sensing that it is not going to be easy to stop them from getting a beating, all the news everywhere is bad about Binance and how they are doing something wrong when we all know they are innocent, but that's what media wants to focus on and whoever controls the media, wants that out there. As soon as that stops (if it stops) BNB could go a lot higher.
