6722  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] Jackr - Plagiarized WhitePaper on: February 19, 2020, 05:22:49 PM
I don't understand how you can say this, what are you on about?
When you write your whitepaper in a native language and put it through google translate the grammer will be very off.
We hired a 3rd party with good intentions, this can happen to anybody. You are trying to throw up the tiniest little thing to instill FUD.
When i said that you should write whitepaper in your native language and then translate it if you think your English is not good enough, I didn't  say you should use Google translate, so I have no idea why you are mentioning this.
The same way you hired the 3rd party to write your whitepaper, you could have hired translator to do it properly, and maybe even save some money. No one on your team thought about that idea instead letting others write your basic document?

6723  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] Jackr - Plagiarized WhitePaper on: February 19, 2020, 04:01:44 PM

We hired a 3rd party to fill up our Whitepaper because english isn't our native launguage. We have notified their company and we are awaiting a formal apology, we got scammed Huh

That's pretty lame excuse, and we heard them all. But let's say for a minute that I believe you.

If English isn't your native language, you could write whitepaper in your native language, and then translate to English, instead outsourcing something as crucial as whitepaper is to someone else. Very irresponsible.
To me, and i hope for everyone else,  that is a clear sign to stay away from this project as far away as possible, as if you can't do basic things  like  writing your own whitepaper , how can investors be sure that you will manage their money properly?

6724  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] KICKICO - PLATFORM FOR FUNDRAISING ON CRYPTOCURRENCY on: February 19, 2020, 03:52:33 PM
the roadmap has never been respected and nothing except and always promises .. I was at the start and I had at one point not far from 80 thousand dollars of kikicoin token before having my tokens stolen from my myetherwallet wallet at the time or the course was at the highest. the robbery took place directly in society.  The company manipulates the course and refunded my stolen tokens but only 1 month later when the course collapsed following this scam. I had a value around 10 thousand dollars. I sold this shit and since then the token has never gone up. now they give big bonuses and lots of gift announcements to attract pigeons. run away!
Sorry to hear that you were among those 40 addresses that got affected by that hack back in mid 2018.That is just one more reason not to trust Kickico with the exchange, as if they can't secure their smart contract properly, i doubt that people's funds will be much safer.

Are the airdrops of the original kick tokens still happening?
No, Frozen airdrop is finished, but there will be 2nd wave, as they plan to send tokens to 1 million addresses.

They have a referral campaign on going just to kick the launching of their exchange, they are really making progress I don't this kind of promotion has got us all aware of this project, the coin is now getting pump but still, half the price when I first got it, I hope they will do an announcement on how to unlock this airdrop token.
Personally i don't see any progress here, only annoyed people that have those locked tokens in their wallet that they can't move anywhere. I raised few questions about their practices in reputation board, here is the link
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5225828.0

Additionally, due all this hype and mess with Frozen Drop, fake Kickico websites appeared. I made topic about that in scam board, so beware of those!

Pyrrhos Gold is back with new announcement thread, and "new" team members, and again they used fake photos. So far they plagiarized whitepaper, used fake team member photos, but somehow they want us to believe that their cryptocurrency is backed by real gold.

6727  Economy / Scam Accusations / [Warning] Fake KICK token wallet websites! on: February 18, 2020, 05:17:09 PM
What happened:  As many of you probably noticed (and some of you got KICK tokens) , there is KICK token Frozen Drop going on, where they sent KICK tokens to active Ethereum addresses. Since that annoying marketing campaign got a lot of attention, scammers made fake KICK wallet websites, trying to profit from all this mess by spreading and spamming this in various Telegram group, and sending PMs.

So far 3 are identified, they all look the same and are made on the same date, February 9th.

@lovesmayfamilis wanted to tell you that you should use that topic to report alts abusing bounty, not that you have to read the whole topic.

6730  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] Very popular Gaming YT Channel hacked and renamed to "Coinbase Pro" on: February 18, 2020, 08:33:33 AM
Also, after spending all those years and getting such numerous followers, how careless can one be to appoint of getting their credentials stolen by hackers let alone not having their Google account protected by 2FA.
This is really disturbing.

Seems like usual scam goes like this: scammers contact YouTube creators, offering them to sponsor their software. YouTubers  then download and install that software, without checking it first, and of course it is affected with some malware.
There are probably more ways, but i heard that's the most common trick, and yes, they should definitely be more careful since they invested years in those channels, and it is a shame to loose it that way.

Here is some list of hacked accounts so far, with current status whether its recovered/deleted etc.

If those coins are locked, who is making all those trades on exchanges then? If it's them (team) then this is a bad sign and don't expect the project will go too far. It will die the moment they unlock the coins. We will see a huge dump.

Only Frozen Drop tokens are locked, but there is still 2.98 billion KICK in circulation, so those tokens are being traded, and price probably manipulated by the team.

They are distributing tokens randomly. (at least they are saying that.) But I think they send KICK tokens based on wallet activity or wallet value.
I didn't have any Ethereum in my own wallet. Then I bought 2 ETH and send my wallet a month ago. Then suddenly 888K KICK token has arrived my wallet. There were no other transaction in that wallet.

So I think if you are holding ETH in your wallet or you have some latest transaction history, then you recevied your airdrop because of that.
They are definitely not airdropping those tokens randomly. It has been confirmed by them that they used certain parameters like activity of wallet, amount of tokens/ETH in there etc in the period of approximately 1 month,  but they don't want to reveal exact details. It makes sense though to aim active wallets and not just randomly send ETH, as this way they increase chance someone buys more KICK from exchange, and join theirs, KickEx.

Hahaha fuckin scammers. They already put up a scam giveaway live stream

I reported the video. Hope the original owners regain access to the account. What amuses me is how they get 90K viewers in a short time

Yep, we didn't have to wait for long for this scam giveaway video. Worst thing about this is that this is very popular and active YouTube channel, and bunch of people will see it. I hope more people see this, as more people report it, the faster will be YouTube reaction.

This is where link on that  video leads. They even have some kind of fake tracker that shows how they are sending 10x BTC back.

And this is BTC address used, seems like people are massively sending BTC there, so far more than 2 BTC sent in the last hour or so.

6735  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who among us here has been addicted but successfully cured addiction? on: February 16, 2020, 05:40:47 PM
I use to gamble a lot before, but now I gamble casually and I would say I was able to take gambling out of my system.

I felt that my day is incomplete without gambling, but now I don't feel the need or urge to gamble. I think the key is your drive to control your self. Any habit that is not healthy, even difficult must be stopped.

It was similar situation in my case too.

I started gambling long time ago, while i was still in high school. Sports betting was just becoming a thing in my country, and since i watched a lot of sports, this was kinda natural step, to "spice things up" and make it more exciting, and maybe even profit from it. I played little, as since i was student, i couldn't afford big bets. But things quickly got out of control when i started working, and betting more and more. I came to the point that i lost equivalent of yearly salary in matter of few weeks, and one day i simply decided that i will quit. And that was it.

Funny thing, few years after that i started working in a casino and i thought that will be an issue for me  and maybe even make me to gamble big again, but luckily everything went ok. I still gamble ( i prefer brick&mortar casinos)  but just casually and for fun, nothing serious.

6737  Economy / Reputation / Re: KICKICO-KickEx:Legit business or scam in making? on: February 16, 2020, 10:01:31 AM
How is that using the exchange can be unlocked the tokens which cant even be moved? Let say Ived use the exchange and traded there how in the hell they can unlocked the one they sent to my eth wallet address? I think smart contract ia hard to be modify depends on trading on a centralized platform.
I asked them that, how do they plan to unlock those KICK, if amount unlocked will depend on the trading you do on KickEx, and they said that they will release details about that after exchange goes live. So i guess all you can do is wait.

Can still see 562,560 users who joined the exchange so till now it seems to work. Since the market value of those tokens are $200-$500, I guess many would be excited to follow their steps to unlock them.
Yeah, that's the number they claim already joined exchange, and I'm not surprised, people will jump on just about anything, and won't do due dilligence.
Regarding the value of those tokens, bare in mind that current value of those airdropped tokens are like that  because only 2.98 billion KICK tokens are in circulation, while total supply is much higher, 781 billion. That means only 0.38% of the tokens are unlocked, and imagine what will happen when/if people starting unlocking the rest of 99.62% supply.
Total supply will be much higher though, as they are not over with Frozen Drop. There will be 2nd wave, and they  aim to send KICK to overall 1 million addresses. Here is the article  about it.

Connect Business Network is a secure network for payments worldwide. Network security is based on the development of artificial intelligence.

                                                                             Revolutionary union.

The blockchain has many weaknesses, including in terms of security, scalability and efficiency, and artificial intelligence, in turn, suffers from problems related to the possibility of violation of privacy, as well as the lack of trust and the ability to explain the principle of action. The combination of these two technologies seems to be inevitable - they could complement each other to create a fundamentally new generation of digital systems. As shown in the figure, the blockchain will eliminate the need to trust artificial intelligence, provide privacy and explainability, and artificial intelligence will allow building machine learning systems based on the blockchain, which will feature enhanced security, scalability and more effective personalization and management capabilities.

                                                                           Blockchain for Artificial Intelligence

The blockchain can be used as the basis for decentralized trading platforms and coordination platforms for various components of artificial intelligence, including data, algorithms, and computing power. This could contribute to completely new levels of innovation and the scale of the use of artificial intelligence. The blockchain will also allow making such decisions more transparent, explainable and trustworthy. Given that all data in the blockchain is publicly available, artificial intelligence will become the basis for providing protection from fake.

                                                                                                   Problem:

Security and scalability ...
If the attacker does not own most of the mining resources, it is almost impossible to crack the blockchain, however, applications built on the blockchain platform, unfortunately, are not so protected. For example, The DAO, one of the largest crowdfunding platforms that owns Ether cryptocurrency for $ 150 million, was the victim of the theft of $ 50 million. The cracker used a number of mistakes made in the preparation of smart contracts, which allowed to execute repeated transactions and withdraw more money than he invested contracted fund.

                                                                                                   Solution:

Given the rapid progress of machine learning, a blockchain running an intelligent algorithm could very well detect the fact of an attack and automatically turn on defense mechanisms. And if damage is inevitable, artificial intelligence could at least isolate the attacked component from the rest of the blockchain platform. By managing the blockchain, it could improve scalability and increase the reliability of a distributed registry. For example, with a sharp increase in transaction volume, artificial intelligence could automatically increase the speed of creating blocks, which would increase throughput at the price of increased confirmation time.

6739  Economy / Reputation / Re: KICKICO-KickEx:Legit business or scam in making? on: February 15, 2020, 03:04:48 PM
It's not a scam but it's definitely spamming users with their tokens who don't have any interest dealing with those coins.
Having being a part of their campaign earlier, this marketing scheme is not ethical. They should have had an airdrop campaign instead so tokens would be sent after users authorizing to receive them.
I occasionally get some worthless shitcoins of seemingly dead projects in mew, but this is the first time for me to experience something like this from project that is listed on the exchange with some trading volume. That's why i was so surprised, but seems like people massively fall for it, sharing referral link left and right.

The token's price pumped few days ago and now there's almost a 50% dump in the price.
Pump&dump scheme in this case is obvious, as chances of project like this to gain and loose so much in the matter of few weeks  and to be completely legit are none to zero.
I also doubt that this is the last pump&dump cycle with this shitcoin.

To trade on some exchange, you have to trust them to some degree, and i honestly think that their practices won't have the effect that their are aiming for, as all this can only make me distrust them and never touch their exchange.
6740  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Posebna ponuda tjedna on: February 15, 2020, 01:42:31 PM
