682  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can government control buying most of the coins in the market? on: October 03, 2017, 01:04:50 AM
I think they are not interested in buying all coins in the market as some of them have no potential and just a fraud, what they want is the regulation and control of it, they want to strictly prohibit coins that can potentially scam and steal people's money, some of the Government wants it to centralize and manipulate its value and demand to people like bitcoin.
683  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin / Cryptocurrency Security Best Practices on: October 03, 2017, 12:57:00 AM
One of the best practice in terms of securing your email account or your wallet is to setup a Two Factor Authentication, a code that is needed to login into your account besides your own password that will be sent through text message to your mobile phone, email address etc. another thing is when your copying your private keys don't save it online or in notepad, write it on a piece of paper.
684  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Goldman Sachs is flirting with bitcoin trading on: October 03, 2017, 12:48:57 AM
That's a wonderful news from Goldman Sachs to make an idea of bitcoin trading shop unlike other people who discouraged bitcoin like Jamie Dimon, James Gorman and other people who have negative views about it, well we can't please everybody to believe in bitcoin but later on some of them will change their perspective once the bitcoin will become too successful that they can't reach it. There will be more to come in terms of this good news and bright ideas about this.
685  Other / Off-topic / Re: What are some disadvantages of BTC? on: October 02, 2017, 01:24:25 PM
Bitcoin needs an internet in order for you to transact and to check you own balance, Internet in some countries is slow and expensive, some of the areas or provinces don't have a coverage of internet connection making your PC or Phone useless in bitcoin transaction, another thing is the transparency and the anonymity of it, anyone can view and see your transaction making your privacy less censored and it makes you anonymous which is kind a disadvantage for the government and law enforcement to tract and investigate some fraudsters and criminals.
686  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC for taxi on: October 02, 2017, 01:10:27 PM
Physical money or fiat is much more convenient to use as a form of payment for taxi and other businesses firm as you can just hand the money over and the transaction is finished unlike in bitcoin, you need to wait for confirmations from the bitcoin network in order for the transaction finished or transferred. For now we can't actually used it for our daily lives but in the near future they can implement some upgrades and additional feature in the blockchain.
687  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin be effectively used to curb corruption? on: October 01, 2017, 08:20:23 AM
Well it depends upon how the Government will execute the Blockchain technology through their funds and transaction. One of the good traits of this technology is to have transparency over the transaction and funds without any compromise and breach to the value, the Blockchain is an Open public ledger that let's the ordinary people view the transaction executed by them, you can't cheat or fake the transaction as you can't edit or rewrite the past value of it. However bitcoin works anonymously, you can see the transaction but you can't identify who is the owner of the wallet address.
688  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Busted: Six bitcoin looters including a woman arrested by the Delhi police on: October 01, 2017, 07:43:46 AM
Newbies in Crypto who still noobs in terms of transaction and how the bitcoin works, That's what the fraudsters target are. If you are not aware of the scammers and Fraudsters like them, you will be one of the victim of the scam that is happening in the crypto world, At least they we're arrested by the police authority to set example and to set preventive measures for the people who wants to trade with bitcoin. Never trust anyone, do a research and transact only to those sellers and buyers who have 90% positive feedback.
689  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: nobody can stop bitcoin facebook millionaire and nba franchase are believer on: September 29, 2017, 02:59:46 PM
I'm glad to hear that even Mark Zuckerberg and the NBA franchise have their support to bitcoin and believe's to its greatest potential to our current currency and surpass all the banking system that we have. I will even add Bill Gates for that because he also support bitcoin saying that bitcoin is better than currency. I hope that some big personalities will become also one of the believer of bitcoin.
690  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is died! on: September 29, 2017, 02:42:53 PM
Only the ICO that the goverment wants to ban like the countries of China and South Korea, don't compare bitcoin to ICO they are entirely different with each other. The ICO uses bitcoin for crowdfunding and the government just wants to eliminate the fraud and money laundering that caused by the ICO's scam recently. Don't just declare that bitcoin is dead, as of now the bitcoin price is $4189.82 is that dead? Don't listen to the people that spreads bad rumors about it, Bitcoin always survives.
691  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Can you mine via a desktop browser on: September 29, 2017, 06:19:03 AM
NO.. do more research before posting such a dumb question

you cant  just call the guy dumb  because hes asking something in fact you should be the one to do some research first before answering here and to tell you its possible to mine bitcoins on any device using a browser as long has it have an internet conection.
as you see i am mining bitcoins using only a cellphone.
Yes your right, Freebitco launches their own mining function through computer browser though it is still in beta phase, we can see that they have a great idea implementing internet mining or browser mining. It requires your desktop CPU and a stable internet to mine bitcoin in their faucet, already tried it but you can just earn some few satoshi. I think my Computer specs sucks that's why.
692  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Korean Government will crack down crypto exchange. on: September 29, 2017, 05:53:48 AM
According to the news that you shared, South Korea will most likely prohibits all ICO on their country, ban only applies to ICO's launched by Korean startups, Individual Investors will not be affected, I think this is a great news, because korean government wants to protect the people of korea that is using crypto and investors from possible fraud and money laundering. They want to enforce a strict regulation upon cryptocurrency exchanges by banning margin trading, nothing to worry about this is for the best.
693  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: when you try to explain people about cryptocurrency do they understand? on: September 29, 2017, 05:30:48 AM
Some of my friends didn't really understand about what I'm trying to say about bitcoin and blockchain, I explained the simplest meaning to them yet they are calling this coin a scam and can easily hack because it is not in physical form to say it's a currency. Well I did my part to them to understand about crypto, Let's say some people are close minded to this things not because they can't really understand but simply they did not trust it and they want some proof to show.
694  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Antminer with a laptop on: September 28, 2017, 11:10:09 AM
A Laptop or a desktop computer it works, for specs you must have a decent working laptop (core i3 with 4 gb ram it works) and a good internet in order for your antminer to connect in mining pool for bitcoin like antpool, BTC.top etc and for etheruem - Ethpool, f2pool and more. There's a lot of crypto with a lot of mining pool so it's your choice, basically your laptop will just act like a gateway to the mining pool and your mining hardware will act as a processor for mining.

A laptop is only required to configure your miner during initial setup.

I see but, does the laptop need to have that specification ? Or we can just use an old laptop to configure the the miner ?
The specification that i said is just the recommended specs that is available and still manufactured, because some of the miners preferred to buy new laptop or pc that is in the market right now, what is the specs of the old laptop that you're implying? you can run the mining software in the minimum specs of core 2 duo any cpu that is made after 2005 (like the old pentium 4) 1 gb ram and any ATA or SATA bigger than 30GB will do for the hard drive and a stable connection, we can't mine bitcoin in computer these days and it is not profitable.
695  Economy / Speculation / Re: is bitcoin bubble? on: September 28, 2017, 10:34:03 AM
A lot of articles in google if you search that bitcoin is probably a bubble, others have a positive speculation and feedback about it, if bitcoin is a bubble, it is already pop out of the blue sea, yes a bubble that stays almost 7 years continues to attack by hackers, 7 billion technology behind it that is secured and cannot be compromised nor controlled by an entity, every year in-spite of fluctuations and inconsistency in terms of price, continue to increase and rise up, that's their definition of bubble.
696  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin again crossed $4200, so this time can we see all time high?? on: September 28, 2017, 07:32:23 AM
There will be a hard fork on November 2017 and don't forget the Christmas on December, It will affect bitcoin price by that months but who knows we don't know whats coming to bitcoin, sometimes it is unpredictable. We can speculate what will happen and prepare for it but still, we can't tell exactly what will really happen for the events that will come in the near future, it will affect the bitcoins fluctuations in the market price, but by the end of the year maybe it will reach $5000 - $6000 after the bitcoin survived.
697  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: just a simple question? on: September 28, 2017, 07:24:24 AM
China owns the largest mining and bitcoin industry in the world, 81% of mining pool belongs to them, they have a cheaper electricity cost from coal and nuclear which how the mining works, it needs a ton of electricity in order to generate and mine a lot of bitcoin, but Chinese government bans bitcoin and we all know that, there's a news that the Chinese crypto traders moved in to japan.

699  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is basically a stock that allows you to purchase things on: September 28, 2017, 06:57:22 AM
Both of them have some similarities to be compare but stocks is stocks, you claim a portion of company's or corporations asset and be a shareholder but bitcoin is different, yes they are similar in terms of the sudden price value and sudden high and low demand, but don't forget bitcoin is a currency over the computer, over the technology. You own your bitcoin and no one else unless your key got stolen or lost, in stock you just own smallest portion of the company (depends in your investment) bitcoin is like banking but you own it and it is decentralized.
700  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are countries now copying bitcoin to create their own digital currency ? on: September 27, 2017, 11:39:20 AM
Some of the countries are planning to create their own crypto currency over their technology having the basic pattern of bitcoin, one of them is china, yes you heard it right, they are planning to create digital currency of their own.
