681  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin is below 5 USD ,what should I do on: August 15, 2014, 11:58:33 AM
I would say it's time to start thinking about buying some LTC...

The difficulty has gone up at least 10X while the price has only gone down 10X. This will eventually lead to a supply squeeze and another bubble in price  Cool

Notice how the difficulty has been growing since January's ATH - https://bitcoinwisdom.com/litecoin/difficulty
Why, though? There's a reason it costs like 1% per day to short it right now. Buying LTC is like trying to catch a falling knife.

If you think LTC has a future (which it doesn't), at least wait until starts going back up again before buying back in. There's too high a likelihood of being a bagholder right now when it dips below $1.

It looks like the hacker may have just exploited a weakness in his account security, not BTER itself. 90% of passwords the same? Ugh, password managers, please!

Really interested to see how this turns out.

This is actually pretty freaking awesome to watch.

Now let me go grab some popcorn. Cool

A lot users, many quality discussions, very good tutorials for beginners and many experienced users.
What is bitcointalk.org?
685  Economy / Lending / Re: Offering Loans with & without Collateral on: August 15, 2014, 11:09:46 AM
Reserved to keep track of loans.
You have accept Solidtrustpay is collateral.
I want to loan 0.02btc max 5 days. Have 18STP collateral.
This is https://www.solidtrustpay.com, correct? Couple issues:

1. It's reversible. You can use credit cards to deposit. Reversible collateral = no collateral.
2. It's not worth it for me to open an account there for a small loan.
3. You never stated how much you were willing to pay in interest.

Feel free to reapply with different collateral, though. Due to your account being less than one month old, I will not be able to loan you that amount without collateral.
Correct.
I want to borrow 0.02btc. 0.005btc interest within 5 days.
I do not take money from my credit card to send funds. My money got from the investment process. you can check my feedback here. Before that I also use a loan with collateral is STP. Completed returns.
I hope can get this loan from you. Thanks
I appreciate your offer, but I am going to have to deny the request again. I cannot take STP as collateral because it does not serve its purpose as collateral. It is inherently reversible because of the deposit option through credit cards. Also, they are known to freeze accounts, especially in the HYIP business. You appear to be a part of that business, as referenced by this post.

This also seems strange. How many guys who joined mid-July have $18 of STP they want to use as collateral for a loan?

Posting habits have similarities, too. Same boards, similar peak posting times:

David186

Not accusing you of anything, but way too much circumstantial evidence for me to loan to you without irreversible collateral.

687  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: $600 Paypal I Need 1 Bitcoin on: August 15, 2014, 10:41:21 AM
I Have $600 Paypal I Need 1 Bitcoin So i can exchange on another forum its for my Currency exchanging service

Gonna tell you right now not a single person is going to sell you a bitcoin for paypal here.

Paypal is reversible and scammers have already played that card out far to many times for it to be accepted as payment any longer.
Also, Your account is brand new. Making this look even more like a scam attempt..

Plus, with that user name nobody will trade with you.

Your best bet is to sign up for a new account with a more low-key user name. ;-)
Now What Does my username have to do regarding an exchange ? Yes i like Drugs i Smoke on a daily basis but my name has nothing to do with exchanging btc. And You Are also new to this forum and why would i make another account so i can then get trolled for multi accounting ?

It's illegal to sell to you. If you are an undercover law enforcement officer the person selling to you will be raided. I'm not kidding.

Withdraw the money from your PayPal account and use the cash to buy BTC. If there are no options locally, check out other semi-irreversible payment options.

With Collateral:

Open to all members.

In order of preference:

1. Alt coin collateral should be liquid and 120-150% of BTC value.

2. Physical collateral should be valued at 120-150% of the amount loaned and shipping must be paid both ways. (I am located in the US).

3. Digital collateral (e.g. websites, accounts, gift cards, etc.) is only accepted if transactions are irreversible and must be worth significantly more than the amount I am lending.

I have not made an effort to collect official feedback in the past for the numerous high-value transactions I have made here. If we are doing a loan with collateral for a significant amount, I am willing to use a mutually agreed upon escrow at your expense.

Without Collateral

I offer these loans conservatively. Do not bother if you are new, cannot correspond in proper English, and/or didn't read this post thoroughly.

___________________________________________________________

There is no set limit to the amount I am willing to lend. Large loan requests will likely be denied, though.

When making your request, please provide the reason for your loan, the time it will take to pay it back (<=1 week preferred and the max is 2 weeks), and the interest you are willing to pay.

Here is a good template to use:

Amount of BTC:
Collateral:
Reason:
Length of time:
Repayment amount with interest:

Please post all requests in this thread. I will ignore PM requests and automatically deny them, unless I already know you.

691  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] FitBit Flex [Any Color][$50 Only] on: August 14, 2014, 07:54:22 AM
Where are these shipping from? Are they shipping direct from FitBit?
692  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Hero3+ GoPros on: August 14, 2014, 04:35:38 AM
No doubt he is a scammer. His tail is between his legs. I am contacting GoPro to get them started on who his "mole" was inside, and they can start with the mole and do an internal investigation and then contact the police. These guys think they can run and hide.......
Oh and by the way, I have another reason why you shouldn't do that: You likely received a GoPro (assuming you are not a shill) that was obtained through carding or warranty fraud. In other words, you are now in possession of stolen goods. So, the options are more like:

1. Talk to the police, lose the GoPro, and risk getting convicted of a crime even though you are a do-gooder.

vs.

2. Shut up and hope it wasn't stolen.
693  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] $450 Amazon Gift Card on: August 14, 2014, 03:56:32 AM
I'll buy it. Escrow with you paying fees or no escrow is cool with me.
694  Economy / Collectibles / Re: 2011 S2 MS65 Casascius coin on: August 13, 2014, 11:27:26 PM
This is an extremely rare series of coin - significantly more rare than the 2011 S1 error coin, which had over 10x more coins minted than the 2011 S2.

BTC1.25 would be an absolute steal...Mike probably charged more than that to sell it to the original owner!

Pending pictures, this could be a very sweet deal for someone!

Source on mintage: http://www.spotcoins.com/bitcoin/casascius
Doubtful, considering the price of BTC at the time. Good deal at that price, though. Should probably sell for a bit more than that.

He never had anything to do with GoPro. Don't waste your time and contribute to negative opinions about Bitcoin.

On a sidenote, it truly disappoints me that every women who is involved in cryptocurrency seems to be some sort of stripper. Can anyone name any women on here that are not strippers? I guess they wisely just don't mention their sex. Cryptocurrency will only really catch on when it is used by everyone who uses computers and/or smartphones.
697  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Harassment/Blackmailing of Reputable Members of this Forum Part two! on: August 13, 2014, 10:31:06 PM
So you must be gay,

Reputation yes due diligence, let's address those. Much like you took a few minutes to read my post history I spent a few minutes looking at you trust history and I feel bad for you that you were never able to gain any ground on your graphics card scam, well you know the one you tried to pull off back in February.

Much to my surprise you a brand new member of only 2 months well close enough to 2 months happen to vouch for

Now let me get this straight you joined on December 18, 2013, 12:36:16 only 12 days after him and you two have a parking lot meeting where you happen to buy in cash 9 of his so called cards for sale, then bla bla bla some other people buy all the rest on paypal and stuff like that.

When people start asking questions like
You said you had sold these but your blockchain address shows no received funds?

https://blockchain.info/address/1BnCog6CY2YoD67Li6HoiCvzGVwNu4PuhY

Then all the sudden all the cards get sold under the table.

I'll tell you another funny thing, benigeri or you or sta, have not used the benigeri account to make one single post since March 03, 2014, 11:30:17 AM, yet last login was August 04, 2014, 10:07:11 PM. That is the guy you give +ve to, almost a shame people didn't fall for that little racket. You may of never had to go into the fake poker site scam business.

Now the real question here is how long will it take you to log into your benigeri account and find this topic and start crying I'm not sta! Don't forget to talk bad about me also. Otherwise you may look foolish, okay well more foolish than you already do.

Accusing everyone who doesn't immediately agree with you because you're gorgeous (cough cough) of being gay also undermines your credibility.

benigiri is one guy I have did a single deal with for $3.5K in graphics cards. It is entirely inappropriate to bring him into this discussion, as he has virtually nothing to do with it. However, I can assure you that his opinion is so much more credible than yours will ever be. None of the cards were sold under the table - 16 of them were sold on LitecoinTalk, which you would have realized if you had better reading comprehension.

Also, I did not take a few minutes to read your post history. I didn't even spend 20 seconds. I just remember your posts, as you have always stuck out on this forum as someone who doesn't belong here.
698  Other / Off-topic / Re: Ban the person above you (jokingly). on: August 13, 2014, 10:15:34 PM
Banned for anarchist, libertarian currency interests! (yes, sure, that could be all of us...)
Banned for automatically being a terrorist drug dealer because of his anarchist/libertarian currency interests.
699  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Harassment/Blackmailing of Reputable Members of this Forum Part two! on: August 13, 2014, 10:03:37 PM
@bitcoin101

Furthermore: You do know that my conduct on the forum is despicable.

Let's have some examples of the conduct in question?

I know what I have done, I don't think you have a clue. So unless you are Gay I am not sure what you are talking about let's clear it up for the good folks of bitcointalk.
Accusing everyone who disagrees with you of being the same person is one example of your abhorrent behavior on this forum. It's irrational and causes you to lose 100% of whatever credibility you might have had (which has always been virtually nil).

As I said, I haven't looked at the situation with STA. Has any reputable member accused him of anything?

Also, if you want to talk about first posts, be my guest. Let's all take a look at your first post, shall we?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=606886.msg6697722#msg6697722

And you're studying law? Oh man.
700  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Harassment/Blackmailing of Reputable Members of this Forum Part two! on: August 13, 2014, 09:56:01 PM
Hey SexyBTC, this guy cannot prove that he is not Smack That Ace. Better leave him a negative too.

Yeah Mr funny Guy, same goes for you, keep up with your scam moron you have already used that joke 3 times now. You just pop up within minutes of the time sta logs off, I bet you have the same IP and all the same failed projects. Only a fucking idiot would side with sta, I have produced overwhelming proof he attempted to defraud investors and he, you and or any of your other alt accounts have yet to produce anything more than BS.

What I am wondering is where you fit in unless you are directly related to the topic, making a stupid remark without asking any questions speaks volumes about you.

If you don't know sta and you read the entire issue or even followed half of it you would have more questions rather than ignorant remarks. We both know you don't know me so I am left to assume you are the latest account added to the alt ring list.

Thank you for stopping by!

And look at you only created within less than a month of the perpetual alt ring scam master sta.

I do not know anything about Smack That Ace's businesses here and I neither support nor defend them. However, I do know that your conduct on the forum is despicable. You have shown that you have zero credibility and as such, your claims are worthless.

Zero credibility as opposed to yous?

Because your firs post ever just so happens to be about scams, the Uber funny part is that for the last 3 days you have been trolling the economy section then out of the blue you pop in on this topic and side with the bad guy.

Imagine that now both of you are on here tag team trolling my topic. You are 100% in my opinion either his alt account or one of his bomb makin buddies.

Either way your entitled to look as stupid as you like so keep up the good work.

I have made deals North of $10,000 with users on here and LitecoinTalk. I also do not accuse people of things without doing full due diligence. If xetsr and cooldgamer had the interest, they could sue you for libel and slander. However, I do not think they have an interest in spending thousands of dollars in legal fees against someone with virtually zero assets, so you're safe for now.

I popped in out of the blue because I saw your mug several months ago (when you were trying to sell some shower show or some other BS) and just fell over laughing. Now that I see you randomly accusing reputable members of wrongdoings, I had to say something.

If you feel you have been scammed, accuse the member of scamming and attempt to get retribution in a mature and professional manor. However, don't go around accusing random members that they are alt accounts of that member because they don't automatically take your side. When you make claims lightly like this, you lose credibility.
