681  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: YoBit omitted my deposit on: November 29, 2016, 04:07:10 PM
Tomorrow morning (since I'm a bit tired now) I am going to open another scam accusation against YoBit and will paint them in red as well. I haven't lost anything on the exchange, but doing maintenance on coins for 3-4-5 months is unethical and unprofessional. Not to mention what are the consequences for coins, which are listed only there. Its just a matter of time YoBit to shut down and steal money from people.

This one was solved too: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1693981.msg17019449#msg17019449

There you go, ARCO team is announced:

Project Leader            Lead Developer           ARCO Supporter

      Jure Pirc                   Anonymous             Spartak Tomanov

Hope that brings more confidence in people. I never put my name on something I don't trust, and believe me, I'm 9th dan black belt in smelling scams.
683  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: DeOS (by Razormind) is most likely a scam! on: November 29, 2016, 04:02:36 PM
Are you guys telling me this actually made 6,000 BTC?

Nope, 6129 (or 6139?). Smiley

This blows my mind, is it possible they inflate the wallet so when people invest it looks like legit? The wallet being funded by previous scams? It just seems amazing to me that something this stupid looking could part people of 6000+ BTC.

Well, I personally suspect that they are a lot less and some fake transactions were made, but I never bothered to check that since Razormind screams scam right from the start. Smiley

Hello,

I can confirm that YoBit fixed the issue with ARCO and the wallet is now online. Tested with 50 coins and it took less than 3 secs for them to show up in my wallet. Happy trading:

P.S. Keep in mind that the ticker will soon be changed from ARC to ARCO.

Cheers,
Spartak

How long do you think the yobit wallet will stay online bearing in mind it was in maintenance for months? IMO it will be in maintenance again within another month. Half yobit's coins are in maintenance. Aquariuscoin needs a more reliable exchange than yobit.

I can guarantee you that YoBit will take care of ARCO. Wink
686  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Good Altcoins Fail on: November 28, 2016, 07:41:34 PM
Of course not all of them are like this. There are at least several established altcoins such as Dash, Ethereum...

What a joke that is....

It won't be dumped, at least not by the developer.

YoBit fixed the issue with ARCO and the wallet is now online. Tested with 50 coins and all went fine:

Now I'd like to say a few words about the situation here. I was indeed very frustrated, because people does not deserve such attitude. ARCO guy is extremely good and humble person, it has a beautiful wife and 2 children + he's paying FOR ALL out of his own pocket. He never gives promises about anything regarding ARCO's development, if he's not sure if he will deliver. He's also not lying to anyone. If it was some sh*tcoin with the only goal to make some money to his 'creators', I would not care at all - let them fucking DIE. But this is different! I consider myself as a good person (at least in 'cryptoworld) and I believe that good people should help each other. That is why I engaged here and this thread was only the beginning, but YoBit guys did their job and I would like to thank them for that.

I was then approached by our FAILCommunity's Russian team member, who explained me some details about YoBit. We had a long conversation (2-3+ hrs on Telegram) and he convinced me that YoBit are trying to deliver better services. I wish them all the best!

Best regards,
Spartak Tomanov

feathercoin was declared dead for two years and all of sudden it was pumped x 10 from 2k to 20k satoshi, so nothing is impossible here

Nah, it was lower. But there are 10s of examples for pumped coins. That happens om Poloniex since ages.

I wrote to the admin about the rename. Wait. Don't forget about trust!

I stick to my word...
693  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Overestimating Ethereum's potential, underestimating its risks. RIP ethereum. on: November 28, 2016, 02:49:46 PM
That was expected and we even haven't seen a real market reaction, because Ethereum is still heavily manipulated. But it's just a matter of time (https://twitter.com/bulgar1an/status/803248539547660288).

P.S. I bet my 3 balls..oh, wait... 2 balls that resignations in the EF are coming. Why? Well... THINK!

@spartak please, don't kill my dream to become a millionaire Smiley

Hehehe, not sure about that, but I can promise you that a lot of exciting things are coming and if we get the chance, then FAIL would perform pretty good. I am in constant touch with FAIL dev. and the team members (mostly on Telegram and Facebook) and they're all ready and waiting. I must say that I am proud with these guys, because no one has leaved the project, no matter that development took so much time. I must also say that FAIL team is represented by 11 countries worldwide: England, Russia, Bulgaria, Netherlands, France, South Korea, Indonesia, Cyprus, India, Thailand and recently - Slovenia. There's also a guy from another country, who's ready to participate, but I'm not going to reveal much details.

I would be very happy if other people join us (especially from China, Japan and the US). Free coins are waiting them. Smiley

Cheers,
Spartak

Hey, guys,

Few exchanges (not naming them) offered to list FAILCoin. I will repeat that I think we're not ready yet, but we'll take care of few things and FAIL will see new markets soon enough.

P.S. atomicgroup & gambino, stop trying to rob people! Grin

Cheers,
Spartak

Wallet status: Online (193363 blocks)
New thread is here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1694341  -  add to coinsinfo

Yes, thank you. It needs to catch up another ~150k blocks. Can you please change the ticker (ARC > ARCO) and link to the market (yobit.net/en/trade/ARC/BTC > yobit.net/en/trade/ARCO/BTC) as well?
697  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: YoBit exchange are scammers and its just a matter of time to disappear on: November 28, 2016, 11:29:14 AM
No, only yobit chat.

And is there anybody online?

The admins had promised to solve the problem with the ARC. I will unsubscribe in this branch or them or me.

I think its now fixed, but I'll try in few hours since I currently don't have the chance. I am asking you for one last thing. Can you ask them to change the ticker from ARC to ARCO? Aquarius dev asked them long time ago, but.... And the new thread is here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1694341

After everything is taken care of, I will remove my negative feedback and I'll say few words about YoBit.

Looks like YoBit are now syncing their ARC wallet.

Still in maintenance atm :/

They fixed it. This is the new thread. Wink https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1694341
699  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Good Altcoins Fail on: November 28, 2016, 11:20:27 AM
The Devs need to get paid in USD or BTC.
Devs usually get paid in the shitcoin they are producing so not only do they have to dump it to get real money to live on, they have to sing its praises regardless whether they believe in it or not.
We have all had jobs involved in products or services that we have no real faith in but, we have to keep quiet about it all because we need to make a living.

You're WRONG! This is my entire concept for an altcoin from the start. If people involved in coin development are paid with the coin itself, then you have a team. If you pay them with BTC (for example), you have mercenaries. There are a lot of people making money from shitcoins (developing, graphics, signatures, promotions, giveaways etc...) and those are the people who mostly doesn't care about its future as long they are getting paid. In my view, an altcoin (or whatever asset/token is) should be like a company in which you have a specific share. People forgot what cryptocurrencies are. If this is a fiat-digital currencies war, then why one should demand getting paid in fiat (because BTC can be considered as a fiat - it's easiest to convert it to fiat)? I'll give you an example with FAILCoin. Currently we are a team with people from Bulgaria (2), England (2), Netherlands, Indonesia, South Korea, India, Russia, Cyprus, Thailand, France and recently - Slovenia(2). NO ONE have received a single satoshi for what he's done and what he's about to do in future, when our hard fork is ready. And do you know what else? If I decide to travel to (you name one of these countries), I'll be accepted as a guest and a friend. Same goes to everyone else in the team. THAT is how it has to be done!

Its hard to predict what coins will catch on and which will not.

Burst for example, is a great project with a fully-developed GUI wallet that incorporates mining right into the wallet.
They also have some really cool ideas like an "asset exchange" where you can buy stock (basically) in a project and share in the profits that are returned.
But, the price remains low, lower than other coins that I would say are total garbage.
Will Burst become more popular? Only time will tell.

OK, shill, please stop.
