681  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] HEAT: 3.0 crypto*multisig fiat*a2a hft*1000tps*DSA*PoS+PoP*e2ee chat* on: February 14, 2017, 07:13:34 PM
So we get a half way done coin and more promises of tomorrow, Alcurex is now falling under my "another scammer" list.

About 1+ years ago, halibit confirmed that NODE coin was a legitimate project because he looked at the code (which is still not public). NODE devs disappeared, halibit takes off the coin from Alcurex. Then some of us are hoping to revive it, I message halibit if his assesment of the code is still valid and what happened with his MicroCoin (another failed coin) project, no replies. He sure was replying to me 1+ years ago when he thought he could make profit though  Roll Eyes

So now it brings us to this (HEAT), so far, almost failed coin and Alcurex reaping profits from trading. I thought halibit could be trusted, but after seeing how HEAT is turning out, it seems like he played the same cards to pull more BTC out of unsuspecting investors.

I take back what I said about halibit/Alcurex being trustworthy, do not trust none of these Finnish projects until further evidence can be shown that they are trustworthy. All they are showing us is their willingness to try to pull scams and make Bitcoin community less trustful.

Another same story for the books in BTC altcoin scene, so far it looks like that  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
Im not responsible (and can't be) any coin projects.
NODE, HEAT ?? Those are not my projects at all.
HEAT has not make any profits for me.
MRC is open project, no ICO, instamine etc. if you like to get it success, start developing it.

You just lie like the rest of the scammers.

They weren't your projects, but you sure love talking them up so others will go to your exchange and buy up these vaporware coins. That makes you no different than the scammers that create these scams, you are their accomplice.

You said you analyzed the code, yet you hired the cheapest of coders out of India to code your exchange, that doesn't even make sense. They did a crappy job on your first versions and yet you didn't take over, you talked this big talk like you know how to code but ended up outsourcing the coding of your exchange.

MRC is a failled coin, ~1-2 Litoshi for that failed MRC project of yours that you never update. I even own some of that because I believed you. Not anymore. And if you want success with your projects, how about coding them yourself like you have always claimed  Roll Eyes

Funny how you call someone out publicly and now they have the time to reply back.

Keep digging your own hole in that 560 mile long land called Finland, like it would take much for all these people behind these Finnish projects to meet and discuss on their next "big BTC gain." Would take about less than ~1 day to travel the whole country from south to north.  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Unless proof is presented showing the outcome the devs claim, trust on these projects should be limited.

Yes, there are these untrustable Finnish projects like LocalBitcoins or Denarium ;P

Your account creation: February 04, 2016, 03:50:28

Seems like desperate attempts at trying to spread positive propaganda by those behind these projects by creating new accounts.

Keep digging your own hole.  Roll Eyes

Anyone care to give a quick summary on this project?

I read the information given so far, but I'm still a bit confused.

Why not just try to talk to bter? What we lose?  Smiley

Ask Alcurex guy (halibit), he once said he had analyzed the code and confirmed it to be good. Take it with a grain of salt because halibit also hired Indian website designers to create the code for Alcurex, I don't know how he analyzed NODE's code and yet didn't know how to make his own exchange if he knows how to code.

I messaged him about it, no reply.  Huh Huh

Q. Is Pivx similar to what Komodo is doing? And if so, why are they valued 10x more than us?

Most of those projects like Komodo have the same people working behind them who create 20+ ICOs in one year.

PIVx devs have been consistent with their project and very transparent, personally I don't do long term holding unless certain criteria are met by the devs. PIVx happens to have met my criteria for long term.

Other projects are for shorting because it is obviously a cash grab with too many fantastical promises.
PIVx has kept it grounded on reality.

Shocked Sell 2400 Mrai @ 5000 satoshi  Shocked

5000 satoshis! that's good I hope you'll have a buyer so we can start trading at that price,250 to 300 satoshis is not a good one and I cannot accept that considering how hard to claim mrai now, almost impossible to claim 1000 mrais in a day..

I see the glass half-full  Cool

Any of the NEM members from the team know if there will be a possibility of lowering the Supernode minimum of 3M NEM in the future to something more accesible?

3 days no forging payout from Alcurex  Huh
Just read the chat. Admin said he had to stop forging because it's "unstable" (=forking I guess).
But they are currently forging.
http://heatbrowser.com/report.html

Thought we dont know if its the chain that will become the new main chain.
I have wallet and miner online but cant pay out because not sure if it is on right chain.
Currently our wallet show different block count than heatwallet.com

That was my thinking as well, but thanks for clarifying it so quickly.
All will be paid out after im sure about payment is safe to do.
If you dont mind, I would like to share small donation for http://heatbrowser.com because without they report, payment calculation is more difficult.

Thanks for everything you do!
You won a new customer, once HEAT trading is up Smiley
Yes! Stellar service!

I can say one thing for sure, halibit is very transpearent when it comes to running his exchange.

Even when the whole thing of hiring other devs to get his site running, he was transparent all the way. He gave coins (such as NODE) a chance when no one else would and was willing to experiment.

He's a good business man in my book, the way things should be run and good communication skills with investors.

I think it's a good idea to distribute the silver/gold funds to the original stake holders we've waited long enough for them. we could use it to start up supernodes. I definately would start one. We were here from the beginning testing and trying out the kinks on the early versions. We're not goin nowhere
I along with other true believers want to see XEM (our NEM) succeed. So Let start a conversation about silver/gold funds be distributed to the original stake holders at least to those who can still pvovide their tokens. Thanks DEVS for the great work. Keep strong nembers Grin

I really don't see why original stakeholders should be pandered to in any way whatsoever. They've either blown it or reaped the rewards already. It would make NEM look like a closed shop to benefit a small inner circle. It would be like Satoshi handing out his stash to the handful of cpu miners while everyone else looks on in disgust.

If there is a gesture to be made with those funds then it should be an inclusive one.

Because when everyone else was laughing at NEM, we stood by.

Everyone had a chance to become an original stake holder, some even got in for free.

Besides those funds were voted on by the community at the time and everyone agreed to hold on to them in a community fund. We all threw BTC at NEM with the intention of having the original funds shared amongst the original investors, this is not a charity.

Now what each individual original stake holder decides to do with their share, is completely up to them.

Also, just because they are not vocal in the closed community that is BTCtalk does not mean those original stakeholders do not exist. Many of them just left it as a forgotten investment and are waiting news from the members who acted as their representatives on NEM ICO.
697  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 ChronoBank ICO 😍 11 days left! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 on: February 05, 2017, 03:33:15 AM
So what is the point of this project?

Is it just a timeclock for workers? Direct deposit already exists, convince me that this will be the next thing used by employers to hire qualified employees.

Right now it seems more like a craigslist classifieds section than an actual solution to independent contractors getting contracts for work.

I suggest visiting the website and doing some research:

https://chronobank.io/

Check out the FAQ, whitepaper, business plan, and development plan. It's nothing close to what you describe.

Thank you for your interest.

I already read it and did my research, from what it looks like is a classifieds like you would see in the employment section of a newspaper but instead you pay people with the Chrono Blockchain.

So I would like someone to explain it to me better, clear up the confusion.

Are anybody else running the wallet ? Maybe it gets synced if we have few wallets online at the same time.

And hopefully you got the latest version ?     node_win 0.9.6 / Linux ?.?.?

It should be version 9, that's the last one I got before the dev started to disappear.
