681  Economy / Economics / Re: TOPIC: Pros and Cons of saving fiat versus saving Bitcoin in this current econom on: August 05, 2022, 11:33:46 AM
Knowing what you now know, would you rather save fiat more or save in Bitcoins more?
I don't want to pick one because both of them have their usage in my case.
I save fiat at home for daily needs and emergencies and I have a single bank account where there's not much money in it.
You cannot put it all in an asset like Bitcoin because there's not many merchants who accepts it in this generation. Maybe someday.
But, I could say I have a larger amount saved in Bitcoin than what I have in fiat. I don't really care about the volatility yet. It could go moving anywhere but the amount of Bitcoin that I have will remain intact as long as I don't sell it.

Ok so Drummond already move from Nets to the Bulls, so it's probably Nic Claxton will be their starting center.  This kid has some moves, and has been improving since joining the Nets. So it's good that they have retained him, however, he has no back up in the center position and Howard might be a good fit. Although Nets have been known to play small as well, as they have the two best players in Durant and Irving (if they will remain at least this incoming season).
Yeah, 23 years old and performing very well at center position. He has the speed and he has the spring. A good shot blocker that can keep up even with an opponent that uses speed type lineup. That young, he will gain most of the minutes on that position, a back up would just be for sudden injuries. A power forward might suffice but if they want Dwight Howard then it's better. At his age he also has the speed intact.
Perhaps he could also provide some tips for the young blooming center.

NMX. Nominex exchange - I think this is partnered with Binance too if I am not mistaken.
CRO. Crypto.com exchange - They are not on the leading exchange yet but who knows what the future will bring. Binance was once unknown too.
FTX token.
That's what I would recommend only as the others are not that good in their reputation yet. Also, some of them have staking available in their exchange.
I think most of us do like that feature.
684  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 2017 : 20,000$ - Bitcoin 2022 : 20,000$ on: August 05, 2022, 06:35:01 AM
You just urged me to buy more. I appreciate the reverse psychology of your statement.  Cheesy
There's a bit wrong on how you look at the charts. You compared the ATH of 2017 at the bottom of 2022.
It should be December 2017 - $20k vs November 2021 - 64k.
If we want to compare what happened after 9 months of the ATH then here is the numbers.
September 2018 - $6k vs August 2022 - 23k. That should correct it. See how far the difference is if we are using that kind of comparison?

Loser: Payton Pritchard
After seeing his floor time shrink as a sophomore and drag most of his stat categories down with it, Payton Pritchard entered the offseason with a simple objective in mind.

"My first goal is finding consistent minutes every night and gaining the trust where I can be out there 20 minutes a night or more without it fluctuating," he told reporters.
I like this dude. Defensive awareness is high but he needs to be better at the offensive end if he want to be a ball handler for the Celtics 2nd team.
The problem now is they have Brogdon which I think will handle most of that. But, he could still be his wingman and prove his worth to go all the way up although there's still Derrick White.
He did play 30 minutes against the Miami Heat, listing 18 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists. It gets better, just 1 turnover. Checking his stats, most of his games played at 10-15 minutes are 0 or 1 turnover.
686  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to take profits? on: August 04, 2022, 01:20:30 PM
I always choose to just leave 20 percent of it.
Take that $400 and if you decide that time is ripe to buy again with a cheaper price then do so. If you want, you could just use the profits for the investment method. That way you are safe to say you got your ROI back.
After that will be the hardest part because some investor will think they can take the higher risk because it's just profit that they are wasting.
That will be a bad decision. Treat the profit like your new capital, safe, save, choose carefully, decide in a manner that you did at your first investment.
687  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can change of environment have an effect on gambling addiction. on: August 04, 2022, 12:01:32 PM
Our data is currently being collected without our permission and sold to advertisers. If you have ever searched on your smartphone or browser for information about gambling, you will constantly receive ads with similar content. That is why it is very important if you have decided to get rid of your gambling addiction not to use your old accounts and it is better to give up the internet completely for some time.
I learned this after watching the popular streaming website. Whenever I watch food reviews it will extract advertisements that contains food in it.
Whenever I watch gaming and sports, it will do the same.
Now what if you had history of watching live streamers of gambling sites? It will be a big impact to the one who is trying to stop his gambling addiction as everywhere he goes there will be an ads about it.
Yes, a change of e-mail will help and maybe clearing your computer first. A hard format will do just to be safe that nothing will come back anymore.
Internet is part of our environment now. Even articles are relying to your search history about what ads will pop out.
688  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for August on: August 04, 2022, 10:22:15 AM
I agree, I am optimistic about the market this month. I don't want to give in with the economical crisis as I know we are just adjusting to the whatever happened last year about the sanction and last 3 years with the pandemic. We survived and in recovery and I think it goes the same with assets and currencies.
People will go back to investing maybe not as big as this month but a crawl up is still growth. They are buying but not in bulks, still being cautious and its understandable.
689  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 03, 2022, 04:57:46 PM
As for me, IMO they need to trade Robinson and get another player who is a defensive specialist off the bench. I agree with what @Ognasty said though that their all-stars are just a 2nd tier all-star but what's good in them is that, they built a chemistry, and they have a good coach that's why they are the top-seeded team last season but if you will ask me if they have a shot in a title, I agree that they don't have because they don't have enough pieces for them to win a title.
They may not do that. He is a threat on season but a liability on playoffs. Which means, there's a cure. It will be a waste of money if they trade him and I doubt some team will just like him after his bad performance last year during the playoffs. Being benched.
The only rumor I heard a week ago was him and Bertans trade of the Mavericks.
Both players are playing almost the same. Shooters with less defensive capabilities.
If Miami won't do any move in trades, they might as well strengthen their 2nd core which is composed of him including other young players.
690  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ATH for ETH on: August 03, 2022, 01:35:45 PM
New ATH? IMO, I don't think so. It's Bitcoin that we must see hitting a new ATH first then maybe we could speculate a new ATH for ETH next to it.
But, as long as it's still here in the 20k mark we won't see any altcoin that will grow in exponential numbers.
Ethereum may have dropped the big bomb about the date given on the release of "The Merge" but it may not be enough to push a new ATH due to economic reasons too. It's not like we didn't expect this to happen, it will, it just took them longer.
691  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is It For The Money Or For The Sport Or A Clear Exploitations on: August 03, 2022, 12:23:53 PM
The sole purpose was just entertainment.
I have seen artists who are bashing each other in social media ending up fighting in a boxing ring.
They would put it in pay-per-view or just locally televised. It's not really mockery, boxing is a fist fight that could be done anywhere but there are beings who trained hard for it to go pro.
Anyone can box, but our expectations should be lower when they are known for the sport. I would not be much affected by it.
692  Economy / Economics / Re: Too much talk about gaz food news talk too much on: August 03, 2022, 09:30:31 AM
Something is missing on your points.
It's a problem when one country is relying their gas on another country because they cannot make it. That's how trade works.
Russia may also have something that they need because they cannot grow it there so they need something in exchange for their goods which is gas.

Right now, the most trade will be done in currencies (money). What do they do is get the money and just buy it themselves. Now, once the supply was cut off there will be a big problem. Like mechanisms that will not work because of lack of supply. Sure, there are other options but it's not like they can adjust to it that fast. Deals will be made and since the rarity increase, other countries who supplies gas can now increase the price because of its high value.
Food prices will be affected because of transportation and equipment that are running with gas.
693  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 02, 2022, 04:30:25 PM
Agree with you that, the Warriors will not become a good team if Steve Kerr was not hired to coach this team. He is also a great 3-point shooter so he was able to help Curry improve his talent and slowly Curry has become a good defensive player as well.  Kerr deserves to win a coach of the year again.
I didn't notice that first until I saw him made 2 blocks in a row and the commentator was even shocked about what is happening.
There are times he also makes 2-3 steals per game and that's great because he was a player considered to have less defensive skills, underrated.
It's true, so he fine tuned himself and even his body just so he could keep up with the big guards that are coming in the league and it also adds strength to finish an And1.

Its not only with Kerr but the whole coaching staff or shall we say the whole organization because they really help the careers of each warriors player goes to their team. Plus their scouts which really can spot a high quality player coming off from unexpected picks. But for talking about being a coach of the year well its no doubt that Kerr totally deserve this since he won multiple championships on this team.
Yes, someone back at the bench who are in jackets is doing a pretty good job and I hope they all received their bonuses already.  Cheesy

Let's do this.  Wink

Bitcointalk Username: Reid
Wintomato Username: Reid2022

Test the game
Write a small review here(edit your application post for this)
(for update)
Pros:
I like that the game will open a new window to let you play so that the chatbox will stay on the sidebar.
Rain was also fun to see. Then the jackpot questions with high rewards, hoping to reach level 2 so I can join.

Cons:
Whenever I want to check my profile just to see how much experience was being given, the game window will also close and the auto function will stop.
Is there a way that whenever we just check our profile it will just replace whatever is open in the sidebar? So that the game will keep on even if you are checking your stats.

It seems like it's also having problems when you switch to a new tab or a new window while in auto mode.

There's also a time I was disconnected because I was not checking back on the wintomato window.

I will add more if I see other details.

I blame them all.  Cheesy
But it should not render failure of an individual's life. It's easy to blame others about their mistakes but life will go on and you cannot just keep on doing the same blame game because there's no fruit in it. Only stress and lots of bad thoughts will come up.
Somehow you need to start on something.
Investing is a good choice but you need to work first. If your daddy or mommy is a failure and was unable to give what is best for you then be better than them. I am heartbroken with people who would do the same to others just because that's how they learned life from their ancestors.
696  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will the next Bull run look like? on: August 02, 2022, 07:03:27 AM
Bad day, bad time. It happens. I just wish you were doing the chart reading before you invest. But what is done is done, all we could do is move on.
There will always be time like this where we learn from our own mistakes.

What would the next bull look like?
IMO, I am always looking at the world economy. Because for me it will play a big role on crypto investing and even other types of assets.
Base on what's happening today, daily need prices are going down and I think we are in recovery.
BTC is $23k (rounded) as of this post and it may be at the same phase of recovery. Pick your own poison on where you will base your prediction because none are accurate.

At GSW, Steve Kerr's small ball lineup was called Death Lineup coined by Vincent Goodwill.
Quote
It was not until months after it was deployed in the Finals that the Warriors small lineup was referred to as the Death Lineup,[13][14][23] a phrase originated by Vincent Goodwill, then of The Detroit News.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Death_Lineup

They were able to make that small lineup a success because that brings them another championship. yes, they suffer on the defense but they are moving the ball very well so their offense is exceptional. Only the Celtics were able to exploit them but the Warriors adjustment well and beat the Celtics successively to win the NBA championship.

I don't know if there's a team that could beat their style.
They relied with adjustments too. Somehow the Boston Celtics found a way to break that play even if they are using big men like Horford and Williams III.
But, the same was done by Warriors with adjustments that is way better than what Boston did. I must say this, Steve Kerr is a hell of a coach, he must've focused on what Phil Jackson was doing way back he was a Bulls player and then some added wisdom from Coach Pop while he stayed with the Spurs.
He is a product of successful and intelligent coaches although he is a bench player, I guess that's what made him better because he see everything in a wider perspective.
698  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 01, 2022, 06:04:54 PM
90's basketball is very physical, now it has evolved because a team who have great 3-point shooters will likely win the championship.

That is because the game is evolving each year and with each decade that has passed the coaches and players are adapting to it. Also, if the players nowadays play like in the 80s or 90s era, I reckon they won't be that effective anymore because the coaches and players these days already knows how to counter the plays in that era.
Yeah, it has to be something unique. That small ball line-up was one of the plays that was inserted in the game and was used frequently to dominate a team that relies on a big man like Utah Jazz with Rudy Gobert. As I searched, it was used in the 80's by Doug Moe, coach of the Denver Nuggets.
Mike D'Antoni though stretched the play farther by using small ball and added run and gun style.

At GSW, Steve Kerr's small ball lineup was called Death Lineup coined by Vincent Goodwill.

699  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: There will be 1 billion crypto users by 2030 - research on: August 01, 2022, 04:20:27 PM
It can happen but don't expect most of those will be a Bitcoin supporter or investor/user.
The NFT trend made a huge impact, first of all. It opened up a portal into where the innocent became "wannabe pro crypto enthusiast".
All they wanted was to play the game that an NFT project have opened up and next to that they are already using Binance and Ethereum chain to make it happen.
Accounts created in both chains spiked and soon we will see the same event where a new trend will shake the leftover innocent to learn the crypto industry.
700  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Knowing Potential projects on: August 01, 2022, 03:07:36 PM
Some important things to be considered

1. Team
2. How far the development of projects
3. What already achieved so far
4. Commitment by the developers to the project
5. VC or companies who have been also backed the project

I used all of those things to make sure how potential the project is. It's caused by this is the most difficult thing to be known. I do believe if once the project has been fulfilling all of those things and i will call that as a potential project.
My same answer to the question that was repeatedly asked here in the Altcoin Discussions.

Let's not waste time about forcing to know who the team behind a project when they say they are trying to be anonymous.
If they don't want to be recognize then leave it with a red mark and move on. Look for a new project that are not shy about exposing their faces and profiles. Your chances of having a successful investment is partially relying on that.

The roadmap should be checked meticulously too. This is where scammers could go wrong by making an error on their roadmap. Somehow you will save some time if you find that mistake.

Partnerships. Do check the reliability of it. Many put names of companies that looks good in the name but there's nothing behind it.
