681  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Its Bitcoin a good way to save money for our kids? on: November 21, 2018, 02:08:29 PM

A friend of mine started to save money in BTC for his son.
Now he is in worry about the idea because of this last dropping months.

I told him to re-load some BTC up to lower the average.
If you have any suggestions about this please share

Its BTC a good way to save money for our kids?
Will this pay them a car? the university? a house? nothing at all?

I would say yes. But please know that there will be risks involved. But as there are risks involved, so are there rewards, great rewards. But please be aware that it is not like saving something in the bank where your deposit is insured up to a certain amount. However, the reward for taking the risk with Bitcoin is that it will not only double or triple or quadruple and so on, your Bitcoin savings will be multiplied in value thousands of times.
682  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We can’t trust anyone! on: November 21, 2018, 01:34:32 PM
Hey guys. Remember, in crypto sphere we can’t trust anyone! ICO rating sites are lying to us, you have to do YOUR OWN RESEARCH always! Remember this, and don’t let yourself be scammed!

Agree. ICO rating sites used to be reliable to a certain extent. However, with greed nothing will last long. I think many, if not all, ICO rating sites nowadays can easily put any kind of ICO in their top list for as long as the payment is right. That makes them nothing more than a trash. Personal initiative to get to know the projects well is a must.
683  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is investing on ICOs still profitable? on: November 21, 2018, 09:25:35 AM
As of now, I don't think it is. There are only a handful of good projects available in the ICO market right now. And even if you choose the best among them, for sure, you will be waiting for quite a considerable while before the prices of your coins get back to its ICO level. That would be sad. If I were you, I would take this great opportunity to buy the most solid coins that have been on top for a long time. They are unbelievably cheap right now.
684  Economy / Speculation / Re: Epic buying opportunity on: November 20, 2018, 12:28:22 PM
Once in a while, a great opportunity comes along to acquire more BTC. They don't last long. We are in that moment now, with prices nearly 75% off the peak.

Honestly speaking, I am enticed to buy a lot as far as my available money could buy. However, I am also kind of trapped with the market situation right now. I have not made decent profit within this whole year. I simply cannot make any rush decision as of this moment. But I am also not as hopeless as other crypto community members whose trust is turned into rubles simply because Bitcoin touched $4,000.
685  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH @ 158 USD on: November 20, 2018, 11:58:14 AM
I am a bit broken hearted now i know like i know emotions have no place in trading. I am trying my best not to feel a thing but i was so delighted when it went $177 thought that is just paving the way so bull can enter. Now i dont really know when ETH would be tired of going down and finally starts to climb up.

And when you are already heartbroken because Ethereum reached $177, what would you feel when you know that it went as down as $130 hours later? As for me, I felt as if it is both funny and sad. Funny because people are in panic mode because it went as low as that, considering that it was $1,400 more or less earlier this year, without ever realizing the true potential of ETH and in cryptocurrency in general. And sad because it has to go through this way and then rise up again before people learn the true value of cryptocurrency.
686  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: IS BITCOIN CASH DEAD ? on: November 20, 2018, 11:28:18 AM
My idea has always been this: most of the coins, in the altcoins category to be exact, even the fork of Bitcoin which is Bitcoin Cash, have been in existence and in survival mode from the very beginning simply because of the people behind them and not because of the coin itself. Bitcoin Cash, right from the get-go, became popular only because the names Roger Ver and Jihan Wu are very closely associated with it. Without these influential names, Bitcoin Cash was a trash from its inception.
687  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: buy fast and sell fast on: November 18, 2018, 09:58:48 AM
If in trading apply fast trading strategy,
What obstacles are constraints
and weaknesses?

You can do that only if you are almost always certain as to where the next line will be heading. You may buy right now because the price is diving down low but then can you be sure that the next minute it will be green? It could dive down much lower. In the same way that you could sell now, but then can you be sure that the next minute the price will go down or still rise some more?
688  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have I joined at the wrong time? on: November 18, 2018, 09:20:41 AM

I am newbie and some of my friends who are already into crypto market say I am late. This isn't the time to start investments and I must refrain and just research for later.

Do you think the same? Is it really not the time to invest as a beginner?

Your friends who are saying that you are late in joining the crypto market are not right. I think the best time to enter into the crypto market is when the prices are at its lowest. Crypto investment is best when you buy the coins cheap. You do not buy the coins at their all time high price. And so if you want to start buying and building up your portfolio, do it now because the prices are almost at their all time low.
689  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your best investment in 2018 on: November 18, 2018, 08:49:03 AM
Hey guys, what was your best investment/profit in this “red year” 2018? I want to read your success stories to become motivated!

A success story is oftentimes not a continuous line. We arrive at that point with so many troubles and hardships along the way. My success in 2018, I admit, is yet to come. With only more than a month left before 2018 will bid good bye for good, I am still very confident that it will still come. I had great profit in 2017 but then all of it were pulled down when 2018 entered. I remain HODLing for now.
690  Economy / Economics / Re: What do you think about crypto currency issued by the government? on: November 18, 2018, 08:17:52 AM
It is said that central banks plan to release their own curypto currency in some countries, for example Japan..

How do you think about these crypto?

These cryptos are nothing but fiat converted into cryptocurrencies. In other words, these government-issued coins are still owned and managed by the government. It cannot claim freedom and independence. Cryptocurrencies are a way for people to have a mode of payment that is completely free and owned by the people themselves, independent of any government or bank.
691  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Just calm the f$%^ down, this is not the end of Bitcoin. on: November 16, 2018, 09:36:33 AM
I think the market performing poorly is not really due to the fork happening with Bitcoin Cash. It might have added a little to the downward trend for now but it is not the main reason. The bear season is really long and hard. I think this is still a part of it. However, this is nearing its end for sure. December is going to be a beautiful month for all of us Bitcoin hodlers.
692  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin does not have limited supply on: November 16, 2018, 07:43:09 AM
The argument is again and again that the value of Bitcoin will increase because supply is limited to 21 million. But this is quite simply wrong. Every time Bitcoin is forked that is in real terms an expansion of the Bitcoin currency beyond 21 million. To some degree the same is true of alternative crypto currencies which will flood the market. There is already more than 1000 cryptocurrencues ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_cryptocurrencies )

The argument needs a very simple logic. When you fork Bitcoin, the fork is not Bitcoin. It simply means you are releasing another coin from Bitcoin which can never be called Bitcoin anymore. Do you think you can have a forked Bitcoin which is also called Bitcoin? No. In this sense, Bitcoin Cash, Bitcoin Gold, Bitcoin Diamond, and so on and so forth are not Bitcoin. They may be forks of Bitcoin but they are essentially alternate cryptocurrencies.
693  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in a new ICO. on: November 16, 2018, 07:00:25 AM

We know that in the cryptocurrencies world  invest are not 100% effective, because of the rise and fall of  crypts, so much so that we are constantly interpreting the candles if they are in an bullrish trend or bearish trend.
but my question is about the ICOS, what aspects or information should I have to make a good investment in an ICO?
Wink Huh Cool

It is better to fail in buying an actively traded coin than buying a failed ICO. At least in the former there is always time to recover. The latter would give you coins that have zero value, or worse, you will receive no coin at all.

If you want to invest in an ICO, read whitepapers, or at least the most important parts such as their objective, token or coin economy, team members and their experiences, partners, and so on. And try to communicate with them also regarding your doubts and other questions.
694  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading stressful for you? on: November 15, 2018, 09:07:08 AM
It is. But at the same time it is also fulfilling. I have made good and bad decisions in trading. I have earned and lost money in the process. But that is what trading is all about. At the end of the day, I am still thankful to it because overall I am still gaining. Plus the stress in trading are more often than not brought by the overall market condition. Look at the market right now, many traders would rather resort to hodling.
695  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is falling !! on: November 15, 2018, 08:36:45 AM
Today is very shocking and might panic many people. BTC falls at the price of $ 5770, what do you worry about this situation??

Why worry? Is this your first time to see Bitcoin's price falling down? I have seen it went down several number of times. And then a little later went back again flying so high leaving many weak hands with deep regret. I was a victim of worrying. But I learned my lessons already. A long red candle does not intimidate me anymore. That's just a call to buy.
696  Economy / Economics / Re: What can be done to make bitcoin stable? on: November 15, 2018, 08:05:32 AM
I am relatively new with regard to bitcoin but what I have noticed is that a lot of people just invest on it and then cash in when they feel like it is already enough to make a profit. I do not think that this will not be great in the long run because of it being unstable. So what can be done to make it stable?

For as long as it is being offered in the trading market, and its circulation still limited to a few millions around the world, its price cannot be made stable. Remember that the value of Bitcoin is solely dependent on the demand of the people. If a very wealthy investor would suddenly decide to invest in it, there will definitely be a long green candle, in the same manner when an investor decides to dump his Bitcoins. There will always be rise and fall.
697  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest Now!!! on: November 15, 2018, 06:45:07 AM
Now, the prices are plunging neck deep. This must be the last buying season before the bull will arrive in 2018. I don't think this year will be ending without any bullish market, even for a month. But when I checked the prices a while ago I was dumbfounded with what I found. I was thinking that the month of November will be the start of the green days. I am positively counting on the last month of this year.
698  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Hunter's Problem on: November 14, 2018, 01:35:38 PM
It's that True if you are a truly bounty hunter you will experienced to promote a scam project ico ?

There is that risk which an ordinary bounty hunter could not address easily. The fact is that even seasoned ICO investors are now having a harder time arriving at a definite ICO choice to invest in. Scam projects are looking great, even appearing more credible than those legit ones that are poorly made. However, this should not deter us from getting really familiar with the projects we are promoting so as not to become instruments of these garbage projects.
699  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why would people want to adopt Bitcoin as a payment option? on: November 14, 2018, 01:04:26 PM
There are several reasons why I would choose Bitcoin over other payment methods. One of which is definitely the decentralized way with which Bitcoin is running. Nobody owns your Bitcoin but you. Moreover, Bitcoin is borderless. It simply goes beyond the limitations of our various fiat currencies. And then we have the fact that transferring Bitcoin, however huge it is, from one wallet to another will only cost you cents or a dollar or two. That does not happen with fiat.
700  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency to be Taught in Schools? on: November 13, 2018, 02:17:25 PM
Why not? But if we do that, let us just make sure that we are not doing that for the sake of riding what seems to be a trending wave. More importantly, we should try to look more and more on the deeper side rather than on the outer appearance, lest we fall on a pit many pseudo-believers and supporters caught themselves in when they entered during the time when the prices were at their highest.
