well not sure what happened the past 12 hours (after segwit went active) but my bitcoin core 14.1 is getting that same message we got earlier when people were using BIP 91 to signal for segwit support.. did something go wrong? "Warning: unknown block versions being mined! It's possible unknown rules are in effect"

i closed and reloaded the qt and now atm the message is gone... hummmm
The message will come back when your client sees more blocks. The problem is stupid pool operators using custom block generation and leaving in the segwit activation bit in their block versions. The proper bitcoin client has stopped using that bit now that segwit has activated, and so that bit has no known meaning any more. Thus the bitcoin core client is correctly saying it's not recognising what that bit is for... and the pools that are advertising don't even know why they're advertising it any more. is segwit really activated now? i see the average fee still very high, are they already saturated the extra room of segwit? |

Volume is a very good indicator of a coins health and popularity, in this case there is little to no reason to mine it let alone make a private miner for it. we have had it for a few days ... only just started with it ... and mining has jumped for 200mh to over 2gh currently ... but for once - i DO agree with you ... tho only on the fact that volume is an indicator ... mining is also an indicator of speculation that things will come - just like buying low on the exchanges and holding for speculative future trades / dumps ... volume is low NOW - thats all ... we will be including the algo jha ( and timetravel10 ) in the next test of CWIgm-0.9.9 - as well optimizing skunkhash ... so there is absolutely no need for rune to make a 'faster' spmod version for it - which blocks our pools anyway ... we will have that in our miner ... #crysx volume is also not everything(chaincoin first example shitty volume for many months), some shitcoin in the past with initial no volume had a very good run later, it's basically all random here, and this is what make it good |

The decred mod is not yet released. If I release it, team claymore will disassemble and steal my code and put it in the pussyminer. A blake2s variant asic (siacoin) has already been launched.
fpga is expensive, and not optimal, besides fpga can mine any algo, but require skill to program, and there is no asic for blake2s and skein, siacoin asic is a fraud... |

With a 1080ti, I can spend a few hours on every mod I have made to improve the speed.
And you should do it, 'cause you will get more customers for your mods. You would pay for the card in minutes. Not that I like your business, just saying. he also have 1200 gpu i find it absurd that he can't afford a single 1080ti..... |

i tried your miner, and i must admit, i was surprised, to see it so fast, it's faster than sp mod5 or 6, by 1 mega with the same settings, seems that this miner is good for low tdp usage
with 70% tdp i get nearly 30MH per gpu, you are going to make it work wth any pool after the beta ends right?
