Just wanted to let you all know:
We called these the "Holiday 5-pack" and they were sold during the Christmas holiday season in 2019. We no longer stock them on our main web store, but I think you can still find a few of them on Amazon.
They come in a pack of 5 x REAL Bitcoin, with 5 different slip covers, all designed for gifting.
thanks, Bobby
yes - that is where I found them - I am glad you chimed in to confirm their legitimacy and I hope you do something similar this year around the holidays!

finally won an auction! only had to buy 2/3rds of the spots lol but after looking more into the item, glad I won it. I knew of the pizza deal but never thought to put 2 and 2 together and link this with that event. Pretty cool overall.

I dont know the best way for 20 tbh other than giving everyone 5 numbers each - like a block 00-04, 05-09 etc etc then if alpha go to next block.
either way - I am excited to see what you are giving 3 lucky people!

fill it - payment of 0.15 sent txn: dab298bf51a88fa74197a8fb00638e2fc022840a8c59de3bfef20ef833b62799

Hey!
That is a great Idea and I would totally be willing to do it. How best to implement though cause some winners maybe single digits vs others being two in addition to the fact we three winners. Maybe three blocks in a row after a certain block height?
you could use the last character of a block to determine - often what i see in a lot of the raffles do is 0-9 and a-f -- total of 16 slots - I think you said you were putting 20 in your raffle? not sure how best to accommodate 20 unless you maybe use the last 2 characters and use 01 thru 20 - if the block ends with anything else, just use the next one? or use 00-99 (100 slots) and assign 5 numbers to each person? If ends in a alpha character then go to the next block? then repeat however many times you need to for your 3 winners. I am sure someone might have a better way.

I can easily do the same thing. So even if they knew who it was, it doesn't explicitly admit any guilt.
true but if it is constantly the same account doing this over several years - and what if it ends up being someone who worked at Mt. Gox? knowing where these trickling in payments are coming from could be nothing or could be something. None of us here will ever know though lol. Binance did not require KYC until late last year. If your account was created before the KYC update and you are located in the USA, you are still allowed to trade and withdraw 2 BTC/24 hours without KYC although this can certainly be changed at any moment. ahh these accounts were being used within the last 2 weeks - not sure when they were created. I only ran two of the payments coming in - both led back to binance though.

dont close it - when you come to the point where you will close it (if others do not join in) just give me the rest of the spots and shoot me a pm letting me know what to pay - I am always logged in to the forums but not always on them - a pm will trigger an email on my phone and get my attention.

I ordered a pair of these about a year ago and never received them. ouch. that sucks - did they refund? and they are prolly not good as the private key is shown on the backside. they seem to have it under the holo but its also etched on the back - so that kind of defeats the purpose of the holo, right?

I would be willing to take 2 slots but would prefer waiting to pay until it fills up a bit more - is that ok? if so - 2 random spots.

-- trace the funds back and it eventually leads to a binance address 1NDyJtNTjmwk5xPNhjgAMu4HDHigtobu1s after binance though it went thru like 10 other addresses all within the same day before landing on the mt gox stolen funds address. edit: if it can be traced back thru multiple addresses to binance account - would binance not know who (because of KYC) they paid? it might not be the same person who did the theft but then to see those funds go thru 7 other transfers all within 2 hours makes me think they may all be connected. A good starting point would be to know who 1B18zGQM5ENJeQ9eqMYinuYxpXYhQACAZd is -- this is the account that binance paid 0.00224918 BTC at 1:09 pm on 5/4/2020 that, in less than 2 hours, eventually landed 0.00122426 BTC on the same address as the 80k btc stolen from mt. gox I have not taken the time but i wonder if more of these random transactions can be traced back the same way.

this is just part of what was taken though right? i think the total loss was like 850k but then they found some and that it resulted in still around 650k as "unfound" also that one address in your first link - it is still getting funds added ever few weeks - last time was on 5/4/2020 also noteworthy is how much BCH that same address has as well. it last received BCH on 03/16/2020

I actually bought a MT. Gox shirt off eBay almost a year or so back - so I can save it to remember the place that once bore 70% of all bitcoin transactions at it's height - their website was originally created for the Magic card game funny enough. I wonder if they ever found the approx 650k btc it never could locate back in 2014. Are they still involved in lawsuits even now? Now, I kinda wanna find the shirt - I never took it out of the packaging lol.
good luck with your searches - some of these things are getting harder to find.

I will take 5 spots - I would like to wait to pay until it is full or closer to full - i dont want to waste the txn fees if it gets cancelled - let me know if that is ok.
so you need just 10 more slots filled, right?
Completely understandable and fine by me Any specific 5 or random? randomize it - I have not won a single auction picking numbers. You know you can always win if you buy all the spots Gave you some random numbers, let's see if we can fill this! yes but buying all the spots would be more expensive then just going out to buy a Ledger that I will never use lol I just did it to help support your raffle and for the free slots in the upcoming one

HELLO to all
I need your help and experience, community...
I've been mining dgb for some time, and carefully storing it in my wallet for the entire period.
I initially created two addresses for each of my miners.
Everything was fine until recently when I updated the current wallet available.
At launch only one address appeared, I thought it was due to a synch problem. but once fully synchronized, even so I only find one of my two addresses available.
I have only the wallet.dat, unfortunately I didn't save the private keys of each address.
What can I do? Do I have a possible recourse?
It is also impossible for me via the latest version of the wallet to create a new receiving address.
thank you all for your time and help
when you say 2 addresses - were they on the same priv key? or different priv keys? and anytime you do a back up - you should always keep copies/back up your wallet files. I confess I'm not in a position to answer properly... I first had the initial address of any new wallet, then via the menu receive address I created another one. I didn't know it was possible to have more than one address with a private key. I often make backups but wallet.dat. never retrieved the private keys... tell me there's still something I can do? And is it normal that I can't create a new receiving address? there is no more the little tab: "new", which creates a new address if needed... a private key can have many public addresses - if the addresses have the same private key - you should be able to sweep the private key and get all the addresses - are you using the DGB core wallet/node software?
