Righto, I was mixing info from multiple threads. So that makes it easier because I potentially empathized with people who may have needed to fight for a refund for whatever reason. Who cares if the site states the USD price? If you go to place an order and they're using an exchange rate you don't like, don't buy it. If the ticker was stuck, using an exchange rate you don't like, or whatever else, you could have not bought it and moved on, or requested an updated total, etc. How is it any different from having a sales thread where you say you're selling a camera for $700 and then when someone decides to take you up on it, you look up the BTC price and give them a BTC address and total? There was a thread where OGNasty said they were selling a coin for $1750, so they converted that to BTC and posted it on the site. OGnasty may have used an autoupdating ticker, or maybe done it manually? Regardless, the solution to your problem was pretty minor.
you have missed the point. in the big picture what it is priced in can and often will affect how you get refunded. Take bitmain for example, you pay them 2600 in btc for a miner based on the exchange at that moment because they price it in USD not btc - they convert it yes. If you get a refund, which is rare - but I did get once - and even though I paid in bitcoin, and was refunded in bitcoin, the amount I got back was based on USD value of bitcoin at that time. so whether something is priced in btc or usd matters when there has to be conversions.

Hundreds of programs/bots there to identify btc addresses with their balances, not a big deal..

I think his point is that even with the private key you cannot take it because of the pass phrase. but I would think that for someone to have the private key, they would have the wallet and thus the bip38 pass phase as well.

Not my thread. I was just clarifying some things if you read the entire thread. Yeah I was addressing the OP the OP that I made - is simply about the listing of the coins - He closed the other thread without addressing the question. He basically said anyone that thinks his items are priced in BTC is ignorant and that everything is priced in USD. I have looked at the site many times - even copied 100% of the sites text into the OP - there is nothing about the coins being priced in USD --- all the pricing simply states is the BTC cost. As gold rose in value over the past few weeks, the prices never changed they did not change to match the increased USD value. I am not making any such claim against a refund or about the refund process, so there is no dilution here.

perhaps but with nothing on the site to state this - with only a btc price showing, one would think that it is priced in BTC. I just think the fact that calling everyone ignorant if they "think otherwise" is misplaced when there is nothing on the site that states it and the fact that the prices did not change for at least two weeks as many others have posted that were watching the prices of the coins in reference to the rise in gold prices. and others that post here - while they may be active and even beneficial to these forums - quite a few have grudges with one another - which I guess is expected in any given societal group.

I posted this simply for the clarification on pricing - OG stated that all items are priced in USD and anyone saying otherwise was wrong - I do not see anywhere on the entire site one item priced in USD. All I see is a BTC price tag. I was asking him to clarify the statement. as for the two that were waiting for refunds, not sure how long they waited but this thread and post should have nothing to do with that issue.

I filed a claim via paypal for my pre-order. They have not answered any inquiry I have made. I know there are delays but ones I ordered on May 20th have not arrived nor did they provide tracking and yet the ones I ordered on June 25th arrived weeks ago.
It is my assumption these were lost. As I paid via paypal - that will be my only route to get a refund.

I'm considering buying the newest Full-Node option. It says it comes with a PSU and 64 GB USB drive for the blockchain. I have a few questions if anyone has some answers: - Is the PSU reliable? Am I better off buying a Corsair?
- Is 64 GB enough space for the blockchain? Is upgrading as simple as swapping it out for a larger one?
- Can I limit the number of connections to my node via a CONF file?
- Does the Full Node have a Wallet? If so, is it easy to use and backup? Do I still need to run my node on my PC?

anyone using an innosilicon A6 LTCMaster? I cannot get AM to read that it is even on my network.
edit: I finally got it to see it - it was the port, it wasnt searching port 8100
So, then I got it added but the API access is denied.
I tried the instructions of using telnet but cant get past a certain point - I can get up to where it tells me to edit the config but when I run the command provided the config does not open for me to edit.
Let me state this - this is my first Innosilicon miner.
I don't have too much experience with Innosilicon miners. What you need to do is to use a file editor available on the Linux system on the miner. Unfortunately only 'vi' is available as far as I know and that one is a bit complicated. Run: vi /home/inno_py/inno_config.py You will have to press the 'i' key to be able to make modifications to the file after you opened it. Once you made the changes, you need to press 'ESC' followed by ':wq' (as in Write and Quit). yea this is my first innosilicon miner i tried to follow the instructions you had on the website - just couldnt get past that one part - it stops at "/home/inno_py/inno_config.py" full text from your site below. if the shown prices are not USD then it is not priced in USD... instead they are estimating a USD value to equivalent BTC and displaying the BTC - that is pricing in BTC not USD
Pricing in btc would mean the btc price never changes. not exactly. btc prices can change as well - the point is that they had not changed for a while and there is no where on the site that says the prices are based on USD if going to price in USD then show the USD price and then convert it to BTC -- similar to the way Bitmain does it for the miners - it is not rocket science.
