that will bring down the price of btc's in Yen, won't solve the USD price from being high (unless it is somehow possible to convert dollars to yen at gox).
You can buy from someone in USD using EUR.
So you are saying I can convert euros to usd in mtgox?  I highly doubt that is a standard practice to be honest.
Maybe people with huge accounts can ask for special service.

Maybe you meant that BTC connects all currencies in gox, but that still doesn't change anything.
Yes they convert currency for 2.5% fee. If I send Canadian dollar without a Canadian account they will convert to USD.

I think they will. There is too much money at stake but bureaucracy take a long time to fix.
711  Economy / Gambling / Re: SatoshiDice phishing site: satoshidce.com on: August 17, 2013, 01:18:10 AM
Even if I notified Google that the site is a fishing attempt this site has not been flagged 10 days later.

Never did it but using the API I would use something like:

Code:
bitcoind listreceivedbyaddress

Then:

Code:
bitcoind dumpprivkey <bitcoinaddress>

Then I would import the private key in blockchain.info or Electrum to send the rogue input somewhere else.

If it's in the public domain then it's not private anymore and you can publish it if you wish. (imo)
717  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinobit - LIVE ROULETTE - [INVEST] - BEST CASINO OF 2013 on: August 16, 2013, 02:26:20 PM
Invested 0.42BTC, currently up to 1.28BTC in a little less than 36 hours.

Nice, how are they able to make returns like this without also risking losing the whole investment?
They are risking more than the whole investment. (if someone make a max bet on max payout)

Premièrement, ça aiderais de mentionner le nom du site.

Deuxièmement, tu devrais contacter le propriétaire du site directement.

720  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinobit - LIVE ROULETTE - [INVEST] - BEST CASINO OF 2013 on: August 16, 2013, 01:31:22 PM
actually i'm on my way to invest - how long does those 25 confirmations take ? thats crazy

Network confirmation time average is 5 minutes now. So 125 minutes or about 2 hours.

thx for your reply - about half an hour is gone, but haven't got even one confirmation -
hope to see them soon :-)
Sometime this can happen if no fees was paid or some input are still unconfirmed. 5 minutes per confirmation is only a statistical average and can vary greatly on the very short term.
