1642  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Long USB cable vs Wireless USB on: February 04, 2013, 03:13:01 AM
Quote
USB 2.0 provides for a maximum cable length of 5 meters for devices running at Hi Speed (480 Mbit/s).
Quote
The USB 3.0 standard does not directly specify a maximum cable length, requiring only that all cables meet an electrical specification: for copper cabling with AWG 26 wires the maximum practical length is 3 meters (9.8 ft).
5 meters = 16.4042 feet.

Generally, open source refers to a program in which the source code is available to the general public for use and/or modification from its original design. Open source code is typically created as a collaborative effort in which programmers improve upon the code and share the changes within the community. Open source sprouted in the technological community as a response to proprietary software owned by corporations.

Please note you also have the ability to disable Secure Card from your account menu.
I disabled the secure card option but payment didn't go through so I logged out and sent payment as a guess. I think I paid double fee because I had already made a deposit on WalletBit...

If you sent payment from another Bitcoin wallet then the Bitcoins sent to your WalletBit account are still safe. There are no fees for paying to a WalletBit merchant, only for Bitcoin deposits. If you are still having secure card issues I hope you have contacted WalletBit support.
Yes I resolved my issue with the secure card when I wanted to cashout my bitcoin deposit.

Australian police aren't the only ones to crack down on the Silk Road. The DEA in the United States is also on the warpath, targeting similar sites such as the Farmer's Market. In July 2012 the organisation told a US news station KXAN that it was investigating the Silk Road and in November 2012, DEA spokesperson Rusty Payne told The Verge when quizzed on the Silk Road: "Typically we're not really giving out investigative updates about what we're doing, but it's safe to say we are heavily involved in looking into that." In the UK, the Serious Organised Crime Agency and the Metropolitan Police E-Crime unit have also been digging into the marketplace.

However, despite all of these investigations, the conviction rate isn't looking all that promising for law enforcement.

It's been a very stressful moment to checkout via WalletBit. Didn't understand the secure card thing because I was in a rush so logged out and sent my bitcoins to the address supplied as a guess. I hope everything is fine, still anxiously waiting for a confirmation email. I even rounded the amount and sent a bigger tx fee just to make sure everything will make it through.

I add a unit to my cart, click checkout, fill out my info, then click purchase...

All it says is:

"incorrect configuration, did you input your token?"

the FUCK?Huh

Nowhere to input token, no instructions on how to order...

Anyone know wtf to do?
Same for me. Maybe they fixed the store but item is not on sale yet.
