701  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: where are the investors? on: October 31, 2018, 11:54:21 AM
I see that there are many ICOs that fail because of lack of funds even though the concept is good and potential, isn't it if the project is funded and realized the project will be successful and profitable for investors?

Many ico are scam that made many investors afraid of investing on ICOs.
Also the market condition is bad and make investors don't look at the crypto atm
702  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs bounties suck...do not believe them on: October 28, 2018, 02:59:15 PM
I run a media company, and deal with a lot of ICOs. What I noticed was that all these ICOs want top-notch articles & videos about them but they insist on paying in their token or want it for free. They think they are doing a service by giving bounties. What they don't realize is that their token is useless most of the time. Most of the bounties done by ICOs are bad.

Like:

1) Write 500-1000 words article on us for 300 of my useless tokens (which won't be coming on an exchange and will be used only on our platfrom. And you won't get free service but 25% discount Smiley )
2) Or make a 5 min video for us and post it on your YouTube. You need to have 5000+ subscribers and praise us to get our useless tokens.

I am not making fun of any ICO, just pointing a fact out on how these tokens are just polluting the market.

If you are an ICO or running an ICO, please pay the right price in a currency that works (Eth, BTC, Euro etc). Your tokens are useless for agencies. They take out their time and resources to make a good campaign for you.

Secondly, if your ICO does not have money..it should be red flagged for a potential scam.

What are your thoughts? Are bounties good or bad?

You cannot equalize all bounty are bad.
Because some of them are good for promotion and really helpful for the project itself.
703  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: STRATEGY?? on: October 28, 2018, 10:54:49 AM
I want to ask traders. What strategy makes sense when looking at the crypto market situation that is red. Besides observing the charts and their movements, I think patience is really needed in this case.
Please share a little of your experience of trading successfully.

Thank you for your time.

The whales always doing short run currently, they pump and dump like 200 - 300 USD.
So, my strategy is always hold usdt / fiat and be ready for the market movement to take short profits.
Long run is not worth right now Sad
704  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe in Ripple? on: October 28, 2018, 10:42:28 AM
Hey guys, what do you think about ripple? I think it’s a centralized shit which is interesting only for banks and so on. However it is growing and people still believe in it. Idk why.

I'm not really think centralized coin like ripple will big in the future.
Because investors more interest to decentralized coins.
705  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How to choose the most profitable bounty campaign? on: October 27, 2018, 06:11:52 PM
There are so many bounty campaigns on the market that we cannot predict which one to enter. the participation of successful projects has started to become too much and stake per person has decreased very much. how can we find successful but not so undiscovered projects at this point?

Look at the bounty pool first.
Then look at the project , do your own research which bounty that you feel will be boom when ICO
706  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your favorite stablecoin?? on: October 27, 2018, 02:29:44 PM
Been seeing a lot of talk about stablecoins lately like this article: https://www.forbes.com/sites/shermanlee/2018/03/12/explaining-stable-coins-the-holy-grail-of-crytpocurrency/#432e3ce84fc6

What do you guys think about them? My personal favorite would be Havven since they're not pegged to fiat or gold and is trustless.

The most stable coin is USDT and i love to hold it and play scalping trade to other coins in a short time Cheesy
Also bitcoin, i always hold some bitcoins
707  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good recent bounty campaigns? on: October 27, 2018, 02:21:31 PM
Hi friends,
many bounty hunters are complaining about bounty campaigns, that most of them are not profitable and so on.
Could someone here recommend to us some good recent bounty campaign?
It would be nice to get some tips here.

Thanks to everyone!

It's because the ICO is not success, there are no investors wants to invest in ICO due to market condition.
This year is not a crypto year, and also bad year for bounty and airdrop hunter Sad
708  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IS GAINING PROFIT A COMPETITION? on: October 25, 2018, 03:01:19 PM
Let it not be! That is the number one reason for the investors, especially new to this part because of jealousy about other users that they have come up with a good profit, so you follow their tips and turns out that you made a bad investment leading you to loss profit. Always make your own move, and to strengthen that up, you must do your own research regarding market prices, and the altcoins and coins features to fully come up with a good call to assure that your investment are completely safe and can produce profit.

Don't be sad that you get only a small amount of profit. It is better to get small profit, than to make reckless investments that ends in a bad profit.

Does anyone experience this? Please share. Thank you!

Yes i think, if someone get profits there must be someone in the other hand using profits.
So, crypto market is speculative and anyone can get loss and profits
709  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My objective opinion, why cryptocurrency will live and develop on: October 25, 2018, 02:44:11 PM
I will give you a simple example. Remember that when debit cards appeared, people also treated it with caution, because many did not understand how it works and why it was necessary? but after they began to understand, they realized that it is very convenient and makes life easier for us, the same applies to cryptocurrency - this is the newest technology of the 21st century, the world does not stand still and every day invents something new. Therefore, I believe that coriptocurrency is the future, we just need more time for the whole world to understand this technology. what do you think?  Cool

Yeah, people are spreaded by the negativity of bitcoin because of media that afraid if bitcoin dominate, the banks will dead.
I'm sure one day people will realize and use cryptocurreny
710  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Most ICOs Sales are Failing? on: October 25, 2018, 01:51:03 PM
Currently   Lot of ICOs conducting Sales failed to reach hard cap. Some failed at Soft cap leading to reversing of Funds to investors. ICOs Like Civic , Codex , trivier, decibles,  etc. It was also observed that Most projects delayed token distribution and Exchange Listing. SHOULD I say they are scared of been dumped. Some have been conducting Sales for over 6-7 months. generating all sorts of names just to raise Money,Which shows a clear signs that HARDCAP and SOFTCAP was Not archived.

What could possible be the reason behind this Failures ??

Because crypto market is too quite.. no big investors are in.
People are just trading everyday with the stagnan market no investors wants to invest in ICO because cryptocurreny is not promising right now
711  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who controls the market? on: October 25, 2018, 01:44:08 PM
Remember, this whole thing about crypto is largely decentralized, thus, there is no single authoritative body in control of the crypto market. Although there are few centralized platforms among crypto, the market is largely influenced by the efforts and influence of the users of crypto. How well sellers and buyers treat the coins on the market affect the performance of the market.

I'm sure the whales are controlling the market.
Have you ever saw the news like this..
Binance-Hot +88 480 144 USDT
#TetherTX
Bitfinex +14 221 792 USDT
#TetherTX

That's the signal for whales dump / pump.
Don't ask me i get it from where but it really happen
712  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you doing with your bounty tokens? on: October 24, 2018, 04:43:29 PM
When I began working with bounty I hold everything.
Then, I hold 33%, 33% change to more interesting coins and 33% sold.
Now all market is dip and I don't want to sell anything..
What about your strategy?

Depends on the market entry price, if it's below ico price i will hold it.
If it's above ICO price at least x2 , i will sell it Cheesy
713  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How to determine if projects/coins will survive the bear market? on: October 24, 2018, 03:20:00 PM
Is there really a way to determine what all projects/coins will survive? I wish to invest now but I am really skeptical. Does the 'top 5-10' rule always work?Is it advisable to follow this rule blindly?

Do own research about the project and see the future plan of their project because crypto is about future.
Right now people are just using crypto for trading but i'm sure in the future it will be a global payment
714  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC is simply just to cheat bounty hunters. on: October 24, 2018, 02:11:55 PM
To my understanding, KYC simply means "Know your customer". Investors(customers) who participate in ICO are made to go through KYC process before they are even allowed to purchase their tokens. On the other hand, Bounty hunters are just "part time workers" of the project and not customers. Even if they will be made to go through a KYC process, it should be before they start working and not after. Waiting for them to finish working for the project and refusing to pay them because they failed to pass KYC afterwards is a total cheat.

Hmmm i think it's not really cheat.
The bounty hunter should be smarter, just wait for the KYC accepted and then doing bounties.
Also, what's the reason the KYC rejected, something wrong the they identity
715  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Airdrop is effective to promote ICO projects? on: October 24, 2018, 01:40:37 PM
Do you think Airdrop is effective to promote ICO projects? I think No.
Certainly it may be useful to spread the name of the project, but will those people who know about the project with Airdrop invest in that coin?
I think that they only to sell the coin which earned by airdrop cheaply in the market and dump the price.

How do you think about this??

Yes it is.
Especially the referal airdrop, the project will be promoted by the airdrop hunter and the real investors will look out to the project.
At least, it's just only for promoting the project and let the investors know
716  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: My 120 Days In Bounty Hunting & What I have Learnt on: October 23, 2018, 05:06:43 PM
Today Marked My 120 days as a bounty hunter and during this period I have gained more experience and knowledge in cryptocurrency as participating in bounty programs gave me additional exposure to the latest happenings around the crypto space. So I decided to drop few things i have learnt and also provide answers to some of the most frequent questions asked.

The Few Things I Have Learnt In The Last 120 Days
During the past 120 days, I have learnt the following from participating in different bounty programs :>
1. Patience: Participating in bounty program have taught me how to exercise patience. I have come to know that whenever they announce that they are going to distribute on a specified date just don’t expect it that day so you won’t be disappointed. Wait for them to carefully distribute your reward directly to your wallets.
2. Effective Time Management: This is one of the most important factor in bounty programs and I have seen many work got rejected because of late submission. Rule is rule and it must be obey irrespective of individual participating.
3. In-Dept Trading: Before joining I will say I have been able to trade in few cryptocurrency trading platform. Bounty have opened my eyes to numerous trading platform that I haven’t used before now.
4. Perseverance And Consistency: This keeps me going to strive for the best all the time. It is true that hunters are at the mercy of Bounty Manger Mangers and the Project team when it comes to distribution of rewards.

What Bounty Is?
Bounties are extraordinary program set aside to create awareness for the development of cryptocurrency projects and such programs usually end up rewarding participants that participated during the program. Another thing you should know is that there is always a specific time set aside for any bounty program, it can be 1 week, 2 weeks, 3 weeks and more many depending on the Project and the number of participants that sign up for it.  With this I have been able to classify Bounty into two, which are the specified and unspecified Bounty.
For Specified Bounty, there is always a specific time for such programs to end except otherwise stated. While the Unspecified Bounty end as soon as ICO ends. So it is important for bounty hunters to note the difference especially when choosing a bounty program to participate in.

Who Are Bounty Hunters?
These are some set of individuals that participates in bounty program. In addition, hunters are those set of persons who have little or no knowledge but have already made up their mind to agree to the terms and conditions of any bounty program they chose to participate in. Hence they are the Marketers that deploy their tools to create awareness for cryptocurrency projects.

Who Is A Bounty Manager?
Bounty Manager oversee the well-being of Bounty Program. They launches the program, set rules and effectively manage the bounty program. He or She as the case maybe are the ones hunters report to and are also responsible for awarding stakes. A Bounty manager can also be called; a Campaign Manager. Let me not forget to say that Bounty Manager are experience and it is difficult for hunters to trick them because they have seen it all and knows what it takes to embark in bounty. For Good Bounty Manager, check here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3085997.0 Also there are some platforms that launched good bounty programs and in this platforms you don’t need to submit your reports as it will be tracked automatically, such platforms are: BountyHive, Bounty0X, Bountyplatform to mention a few.

What Are Campaigns?
Campaigns are Subset of Bounty. In Bounty Programs, there are different types of campaigns these are Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Telegram which can be classified as Social media campaign and lately some Bounty Manager have started Classifying Reddit and LinkedIn Social as Social Media campaigns. We also have Translation, Signature, Content Creation (Articles/Blog and Videos) and Reddit Campaign.

What Stakes Is?
These are deploy tools used by bounty managers in rewarding bounty hunters before carrying out extensive calculations based on token. The beauty about stakes is that it is directly proportional to the number of tokens you will receive. So the higher your stakes, the higher your tokens.

Few Things You Need To Check Before Jumping In Any Campaign
1. Carry out extensive research on the background of the projects, check for the authenticity of the team members and advisors.
2. If it is an ICO project, check if they have reached Softcap at least you might get your reward. So I believe you might have decided after checking out those all but important things.
3. Now on the Bounty itself, make sure you read and understand the General rules and regulations of the Bounty. Check the total allocation for the whole campaign to know how feasible it is.
4. Then decide the exact program you can embark on, Translation, Signature, Facebook, and Twitter, Articles/Blog/Video and others.
5. Follow the rules, report your activities according to the campaigns you participate in. You might be required to submit your activities via google form or through the Bitcointalk Bounty thread depending on the project. There are some Bounty that don’t allow participants to edit their already submitted activities while there are some that do not put that into consideration. These are part of the reason you need to read the rules as it will guide in getting your rewards at the end of the campaigns. I have heard and seen reports from different hunters on Telegram Bounty group complaining of not receiving rewards forgetting they refuse to follow the rules.

Do I Need To Pay Before Participating In Any Bounty Program?
No, you don’t pay but rather you are rewarded for participating. Note that rewards are only meant for those who follow the rules guiding the bounty program and also carry out the require task.

Which Campaign Is More Rewarding?
This is a difficult questions because of the number of hunters who get involved in Bounty Program this days. So what I do is after checking the total allocation, briefly I observe the spreadsheet to see where there are few participants. Trust me, Telegram, Twitter and Facebook always have highest number of participants and to earn big over there you will need to be that one participants with the highest number of Facebook friends and Twitter Followers. Also try as much as possible to start your activities from the beginning of the campaign that will give you an extra edge over others.
I think I will have to go with Translation----->>>Signature----->>>Articles/Blogs/Videos----->>>Reddit----->>>Facebook, Twitter----->>>Telegram campaigns. This order shows the highest to the least rewarding campaigns.

Why Have There Been Delays In Paying For Bounty Program Of Recent?
From what I have observed so far, I think most project are trying to protect their token from depreciating in value in this bearish market as almost all altcoins have experience this of recent. Also I will like all bounty participants to understand that as far as you participate in a genuine and sincere project, I think your reward will come but it is just a matter of time they will surely distribute this reward to those participants who carry out the right task and meet the rules of the bounty program.

In conclusion, I have learnt, enjoy and benefited from my last 120 days as a bounty hunter and I anticipates for more progress as my Journey continues.

Great explanation for newbies , even i'm sure the newbs that just joined the bounty campaign will not feel the same as we were because market condition lile this Cheesy
Hope it will recover soon
717  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cheaters are Destroying the System, How can we Deal with them? on: October 23, 2018, 04:40:31 PM
Hi guys,
In the last 4 months i noted that a lot of people are creating many accounts (fake accounts) to participate in the bounties as multi accounts per user and as we all know that one of the main rules for every bounty is to use only one accounts per user.

Cheaters are greedy and harmful
Cheaters are not greedy they are so greedy, in the beginning they starting with two or three fake accounts then after a while they became having many fake accounts per one user.
They are not only so greedy but also harming, because after a while they starting to harm other bounty hunters, as an example for the reddit campaign they are using their fake accounts to downvotes the other hunters in order to decrease their stakes which logically will go to them because they are using their fake accounts to get a lot of upvotes.
Another example is for the blog/article campaign, the campaign that are beeing attacked by a lot of cheaters in the last months, they are using fake bitcointalks accounts to steal hunters' articles and adding their wallets.

These cheaters are destroying the system, they collecting a lot of tokens for each project and then sell them immediately when the project hit the exchange causing a dump in the price which also causes another loss for the investors.

I had saw a lot of cheaters and i know a lot of fake accounts on twitter, facebook, reddit, medium and bitcointalk accounts. i have a big list of cheaters but then what? every time i report tens of them i see hundreds coming and if i continued doing that i'm losing a lot of time hunting them, we need a creative solution to stop the cheaters, we want a clear and perfect system to stop and prevent them from the beginning..

Why i'm writting this topic?
my purpose from this topic is to discuss with you guys how can we stop the cheaters, i hope everyone can share here his visoin on how to stop them and after that we'll clarify and filter all the replies to get the basic rules that can be used by the bounties' managers to prevent the cheaters from being exist.
Also what is your opinion for sharing here all the cheaters accounts so they'll we known by us, so everyone can reports them to the bounties' managers for the bounties that we are participating in.

The only thing that we can do is stay safe and be careful when loggin in our wallet.
Because no system is safe. everything that in internet is hackable
718  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I stopped trading. 3 reasons why. on: October 23, 2018, 04:16:18 PM

1) Too much stress.

Yes, I believe you understand me. My mood depended on one or another token value. I couldn't work sleep and eat. I was checking value for 15-20 times per day. I could not live like that any more.

2) Too much time.

Again, when you are checking value for 10-15 times per day it takes a lot of time. I was always tired and exchausted.

3) I started playing blockchain games.

It could be called another addiction but I don’t care. I do like it much more. It interesting and funny. It seems like blockchain games take too much time and money. However, it’s not! Trading and bounty take waaaayyyyyy more!

For me the only thing that people and me leave trading is the market condition is too stagnan.
Pumped and dumped by the whales make me stressed out

720  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Running wallet secure on: October 22, 2018, 01:39:40 PM
Hello together,

I'm searching for a solution how I can run my wallets secure, I mean today I can't trust every wallet release which is stored at GitHub, because there can be always some suspect code in wallet and I dont want loose my coins.

It there any solution to start new wallets on my OS safe? I tried to use sandbox, but I couldn't start 2 wallets.

How do you keep your system / coins safe?

Thank you,
lpxcc

The safest wallet is only the offline wallet.
Anything that is on the internet is not safe enough, or if you have much balance in your wallet, you can seperate it to many wallets to prevent hacks
